Logs
Checked the cache after seeing the 'soggy log' notes of the last 2 finders and unfortunately I found it's been messed with yet again so obviously a muggle is having fun at my/our expense. I've now removed the cache and unfortunately after a life of less than 9 months, but having given some pleasure (and frustration?) to some 103 finders, I'll have to archive it before the muggles decide to destroy it completely. I'll just disable it at the moment while I contemplate whether a relocation is a possibility.
A cute hide up to your usual standard Laurenda. Unfortunately log is soaked so couldn't sign. TFTC
Find of the day! Fantastic - the highlight of the year. Log is rather sorry so couldn't sign, but genius none the less!

Very cool! Took us a while to sum up the courage to retrieve it (could that really be the hiding spot?!).. TFTC!

Immediately after getting Meerkat27's note I checked the cache and all was well so I presume he restored it, like PolecatS before him. I've just been alerted of another DNF so have just checked it again. Unfortunately it was upturned again (with obvious signs of tampering) - that's the 3rd time in a few weeks so I'm surmising some kids have found it and are now having some 'fun' with it! If this continues I'll have to disable it. Fingers crossed.

Easy find because the cache was overturned when I got to it. SL, then returned the cache to it's rightful place. Thanks for the clever cache, laurenda.
The geo-family hunted far and wide for this one. Sadly, we couldn't nut it out. Will try again another day.
I had thought about this kind of hide for a split second, but the gps wanted me somewhere different last time I came here, which ended up in a very frustrating and potentially embarrassing search. So glad Laurenda let me know that my coords were off. The actual hide is really clever, have seen it before, works really well.
Thanks and regards,

After seeing a couple of DNFs here (and finding another of my caches muggled yesterday) I've just been down to check this one out (6 pm 5/9/10) and I'm pleased to report the cache is ok. If anyone needs help please contact me - for some unknown reason it's often hard to get an accurate GPS fix here so if you're having trouble finding it make sure you expand your search area a bit.
I'm sure it's a clever hide, couldn't find it with impending rain and 2YO ready to go home for dinner. I'll be back!

Another DNF, I feel really uncomfortable searching on a playground. Must be a very clever hide, couldn’t find it.
We had a good look around here but kept coming back to one particular place which seemed like it might be it but we couldn't work out how it could be it. After reading the logs we decided that it WAS indeed to the right place and we attacked the task of finding the cache with renewed vigour - success!!!! Thanks for a truly excellent cache - very nicely done!
In Melbourne for 2 days from Auckland (NZ) and had to do some caching. Tried some of the "Obvious" hiding spot without luck. GPS kept brining me back to the same spot. Spotted something I had seen before and bingo it was the cache. Log a little damp but still OK. TFTC
I thought this would be easy, but an idea poped into my head and I soon had cache in hand. A good hide. I still feel uneasy looking for caches in these types of environments.
Replaced, a little damp was the log sheet though, and rode off it the scrub.
Thanks

Took my 5yo out caching this afternoon. #13 of 16 finds for the day. Had the cache then had the cache and signed the log. TJ played on the equipment and had lots of fun. Thanks for the hide.
TFTC, Nice and easy; quick find. Joint with Saulman1010, on our caching blitz. Neat little Hide.
Again I thanked my lucky stars that it was just wet enough to keep the kiddies indoors.
Found after a short search and not where I first thought it might be either.
Thanks Laurenda

Walked right to it. One of those obvious, but not obvious, if you know what I mean. The log was damp--the plastic bag no longer seals, and I didn't have a replacement. I managed to dry it out well enough to sign it. TFTC.
Found in a spot that Coverthypnosis had already checked, how he missed i'm not sure!
Thanks for the great hide laurenda
Log is now full and could use a replacement log asap! we didn't have anything that would fit.

#362 Found at 3.50pm. We'd come across a few uningenious hides during our Melbourne caching weekend but this one upped the anti . GPS was all over the shop probably due to the cloud cover and it "persisting" down rain. The Queen came up with the clever hide but not before getting stung by a European Wasp (still she was brave and didn't cry ).

While we were signing the log, a car pulled up and we realised that the bearsleys had arrived!
It was fantastic and quite enjoyable to watch the younger cachers persist with their search.

11/12 today. PocketRocket needed a little help as she sort of made the find. As we were logging the cache, the Bearsley's came in for the find and showed some mad caching skills looking for the cache. Thanks for the quick find, we would have had no chance if there were other people on the playground.

Wandered down here from laurenda's other nearby cache. Classic middle suburbia, but this little pocket was charming - With the quaint little park and forest of trees surrounding it's almost like being in a bit of private bushland - If not for the roar of freeway....
Playground empty, fortunately. Otherwise I'd have got very anxious when the GPS pointed me straight to it! Was about to divert to what I thought would be a more likely hide, but trusted the GPSr's arrow and spotted a potential cache right where it was pointing... Grabbed it, and yep, that's it. Nicely done...

We had tried to find this a few weeks back and failed. Meanwhile, lots of other cachers found it, so since we were in the area again, I was determined to have another go. This time, we were more fortunate. Phew - this was getting embarrassing.

What a cute little reserve! Neighbours were nearby, but out of sight, so we were able to grab the cache easily, once we found it! Thanks.
Another one that took a tad longer than it should have. Eventually found it though.
The playground was empty, as advertised. I think it would be a bit depressing being a designer and builder of these places, and only have them used for geocaching!
We were so sure where it was, it took us a while to shift the thinking.
Thanks, Robmc.

My last cache for the night before heading off to the airport for the trip home to Sydney. No luck with the nearby cache up the road, but success here. I'd come along with the Ruschie's, who I'd bumped into a little earlier. Thankfully, this ended up being an easy find, as I'd come across this type of hide a couple of times recently.

Found @ 18:15 while caching with davroy tonight. looked for a while and was about to give up but the GPSr kept taking me back to an area davroy had already searched. Thought it had to be a little different and then spoted something unusal, and sure enough that was it it. Clever hide.

Oh - it's worth mentioning that we visited this cache again by accident later with our new found friends juzzmagic - "hey there is a cool cache location over this way"... "whoops we've been here already!"

Figured we (Mrs Biggle & I) would go to this one first before finishing "The Old Tip". Wrong! We should have finished "the Old Tip" then done this one, or tackled this one first and then started "The Old Tip". And don't think this one is a quick side cycle trip, coz it ain't. (Hmm, my grammar is getting worse.)
Well we found this one after descending the hill and like the other "Laurenda" caches a bit of thought has obviously gone into disguising the cache. Most enjoyable .

With MMelb still away at School camp we decided another early evening of caching was the way to go.
It was a little bit earlier when we got here tonight and now having a couple of laurenda hides under our belt we were a bit more hopeful.......

The log paper is just the slightest bit damp but still easily writable on

Doing a few in the area and this one was on the way. Nice little park in a secluded area, I bet the locals are happy about it. There must be something in the area in reading the previous logs in that my gps was going mad as well. I was lucky as no one was about. Good little hide.
Thanks for bringing me here.

This was the Coffee Clans 11th cache for the day and in the company of Team Crackers was a perfect finish to a wonderful day of caching.
We arrived at the cache location and the area was clear of muggles so this was a good start. The GPS was also playing "i like you today" and
the compass counted down nicely to a well hidden cache.
The cache was signed and we were off home for a welled earned coffee, rum, coffee, rum.
Our thanks to laurenda for the cache and taking us to a little place we had not visited before.

Geoson and I looked for this for a fair while, but to no avail. In the end, I decided I'd hung around a playground for longer that I was comfortable with. We probably missed it judging by some of the other comments, but a hint would be nice.

After a failure last time, and armed with the new co-ordinates and an empty park, I walked straight up to the cache and found it immediately. Thanks for the cache and the new co-ords.
After the excitement of the last cache we had to get our breath back so we could keep going for the last three. We read some of the logs and wondered what this tricky type of hide was, however laurenda as soon as I saw it I knew what it was. This was about the sixth incarnation of this type of hide that I have seen so far. Still a good cache container for this area anyway, and your were right the place was empty as well. Such a great little park shaded by trees and it was empty. TNLNSL thanks again.
I found this cache at 12:40pm as the 4th of 7 on my Dandenong Trail Ride. The strained back from the previous cache meant a very awkward walk down the steps from the lookout to the reserve. The co-ords pointed me to the blue springy board so after giving that a good frisking, I spread out to the areas nearby. The wooden fence in the ditch was a curious thing to see here. Thanks from D B-A.
Well, what a difference some coordinates make! My first unsuccessful foray was in a spot some 8-9 metres away according to my GPS today. No wonder I spent so long looking elsewhere. I even spread my search nearly this far last time to no avail.
Today it took me longer than it should have but it was a reasonably quick find, thanks laurenda. The good thing is that it left me with some time to appreciate this nice park.

I didn't bother logging a DNF the first time I visited this cache because I didn't look. A quick walk to the area put me off completely; a playground and strappy plants. No thanks.
More fool me. I underestimated the hider. With the revised coordinates to hand, I approached gz with some misplaced trepidation but managed to walk straight to the cache - the coordinates are very good and I've found one of these before. This one is hidden much more securely though, and it took me a moment to work out how to go about it, but soon the log was in hand.
With a feeling of relief I wandered to the playground and sat down on a little blue wobbly thing, and it was then that I noticed the creek, the walkways and the wonderfully healthy trees swaying so prettily in the breeze. Now I get it.
Thanks, laurenda, for an excellent cache and I'm sorry I misjudged it.

Glad I read the other logs about strange happenings with GPS readings or I'd think it was just mine. Some sort of Twilight Zone down there? The compass was no help, but the distance to GZ was accurately leading me where I needed to be.
After much fossicking around, I spied what I needed to find.
Great hide, very clever.

After a trip to the nearby Bunnings, I thought I'd have another go at this one. The new co-ords were pretty good and I had it within seconds of arriving at GZ this time. Funny, I've seen this type of hide numerous times before and, on my first visit, had even briefly scanned the area closest to the playground equipment specifically looking for something like it. When I saw the revised co-ords, along with Acts2's log, I had a feeling about what to look for and it turned out to be correct.
Thanks Laurenda

After reading the logs, I brought the kids along as cover. The GPS was bouncing all over the place, but after some trial and fail I narrowed it down to one location. I searched thoroughly but without much luck. Then I saw something of interest. On closer inspection, I had the log in hand.

We managed to find a car park with a bit of shade which didn't add to much distance to our walk and headed off towards gz. We were very happy to see the park void of muggles as we arrived. We waited for the GPSr to settle and then started our search, although feeling a little exposed form the surrounding houses, we were fortunate that we had the cache in hand in the first place we looked with no sign of any prying eyes out of the many windows.
