Logs
Our first geocache in NZ but not found as in the previous logs. Cache should be reported as lost. Winfriend fr Norway with Kassian.
Shirokan was climbing on the tree as a ape, but we.didn't get it. Sad but true. Today we sleep on the parking lot next to this park.
StreetWalker had a good ferret around, but failed to find.
Nice park, but not a patch on the Anderson Park of my childhood in Invercargill.

A decided to venture up to get this one. Took a bit longer to get down though TFTC
A quick find with Crystal Fairy during a morning's caching in the region. This cache is definitely not a terrain 1.5, I had to make like a monkey to get to it. Definitely out of reach from the ground. Signed log, TFTC!
Found with agcnz on our last day of our weekend caching spree. Thanks for the cache. My angel came to the rescue again and flew up the tree to the cache. Suggest the terrain rating be re-adjusted for the cache.
Nice easy find on a lovely sunny day.

Lovely spot on an absolutely beautiful day. Log book is a little bit damp with a few spots of mould. TFTC
Well found it this time with no problems, this cache might well now have a bit of a record to it. I first tried to find it last time i was here but it had been muggled. This time and another 18,000 km it might turn out to be the most expensive cache i have done as well as the most amount of km to find it. Thanks for the cache.
Stopped by to look for this one, but there were too many muggles for us to have a proper search. Will try again next time we're in the area.
Late afternoon find on way back from visiting wineries. Luckily no muggles about in the great park. TFTC
This was well buried and took a bit to dig out. It was also a little damp. A nice park. Thanks.
The sheer size of this park and the heat defeated us. I wish someone had thought to leave me a horse to get round on.
Park was nice and quiet on a Friday morning, only a couple of muggles around. Found fairly quickly. SL TFTC
Find was OK but about to put it back when Hanson Highjinx lad came around the tree looking for it. Next came Dad wth Gps so had no option but to hand it over. Kind of spoilt it a bit so sorry.

Very quiet here today. Was uncovered in its hiding place so have covered it better. TFTC
Me and Rory went on a nice walk around the park and stopped in for a quick cache . TFTC will be Liani's turn 2 get a cache when she wakes up from her morning sleep
not THAT easy but eventually GZ was spot-on. First time we met other geo-cachers - they were checking out spot to see who'd visited since they'd found it last month.
Bit scary poking fingers into unknown depths. Are trying to convince friends that this is a fun activity...

Apart from the persistant rain, this was a lovely spot. Took us quite a while to find it (arms are a bit short!). TFTC
GPS stuffed up so were looking in the wrong place but after a bit of wandering around i found with Ling long...TFTC
after looking in the wrong place for 1/2 a hour we searched around & found it in 50 seaconds. found it with Long long & me&myfriend TFTC
Haha think it's time for a new GPS. Found with cutiepatoote and me&myfriend TFTC
Found it on our first time out , went round in circles till i got the hang of it. TFTC
Thanks for bringing us to this park, another great place to play! SL. Botsky and sidekick.
Another nice park worth coming back to for a picnic. Has a cool wee pond.
I noticed another cacher had gone to all the effort of logging their entry in the log sheet by perferating the sheet with small holes. Quite neat!

No train this evening, must be closed for Christmas.
A quick detour on a walk back from the shops for milk.

Even early on a wet sunday morning, still plenty of muggles around . Managed to retrieve tho and shared some of my smoko with some friendly ducks. TFTC
Looked for this just before it went out of action, Have been waiting for it to be reinstated.
Found easy enough this time, with a little team effort with my son. TFTC

** Coordinates Changed From **
S 39° 31.327 E 176° 51.801
Distance From Old: 62.5 feet or 19.1 meters.
The original location was altered by the recent weather more than I expected so I have moved it a few metres.
I have replaced the container with a similar one and left a new logsheet.
Cheers and happy hunting.

On a bit of a trip up north to find some geocaches. Found this cache after a bit of a search. Nice park - no trains today. SL Thanks for the cache.
down in the bay to visit family in hospital, awesome cache placemants and wicked scenery . I still love the bay cities
Half the park is a temporary lake at the moment, sure has been some rain lately. Took a little while to locate this one, ended up being where I thought it might be right from the start but didn't look there first as GPSr was pointing somewhere else.

Took a long time to get this one - even resorted to hunting out the torch! Found with angelic_kiwi and Melt'd. TFTC
Took ages but persistence paid off. Think we looked in the right spot a couple of times before we actually saw it.
An easy find but had to come back a while later when the surveyors , who were intent on watching us went away. TFTC
Out and about in Napier on a wet and blustery day. Managed a quick find of a well hidden cache T4TC.
must of looked abit strange walking around in the park for this one specially in the dark with 5 kids in tow lol , found it though was nt going home till i did!
I entered this one into the GPS some time ago but have just never got around to doing it (despite the fact it's a 5 min walk from my home). Didn't have any info on this one except the co-ordinates when we set out on a very cool Sunday morning. Found easily after a short search of the area.
