Visiting from Hervey Bay whilst chaperoning the parents for a 3 day hospital visit. Thankful for the recent burn which cleared the scrub for us.
Can spot this cache a way off but couldn't find the log. With CO permission a new log is in place. Thanks Davidwazza for maintaining this wingaap cache.
Lovely find after a short walk. My temptations were only tempered by the thought it might explode. But, ahhhh it didn't, and log was in good order.TFTC
Found. But phone battery was going flat. So logged afterwards. Great cache to finish the day on. I had a trackable in the shape of a cross. But I'd already dropped it off at Dark Knight. It may have been more suited to the Temptation cache, LOL. Found with BrissyCat and DebOutAbout.
Davidwazza I found your cache Temptation on 20/6/2023, 2:15 pm. This is my find 5644 and find # 8 today. No problems locating this tempting cache. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out for Sunday drive and hopefully picking up a few we have not got around to.
Another clever Wingaap cache. Always some clever repurposing.

As it is Favourite Fans month I decided to head out to Wingaap Drive today to find some highly favourited caches. After collecting the Wingaap Drive cache as my milestone cache in honour of the great cache creator, I continued up the road collecting caches. I found a place to pull over near Temptation and headed off into the bush. This one was very easy to spot as I drew near. It reminded me of my first Wingaap cache that I found in Stanthorpe a few years ago. Thanks Davidwazza for adopting and maintaining this beautifully crafted cache.
I love a well constructed cache, a thematic title, and other personal nuances that come with caches. Even the pen intrigued me at this cache of temptation. Thanks for the smiley. Love the work put into the cache.
Wow! Such a cool cache. Thanks for your creativity, wingaap it took me a moment to understand what I was seeing (yes, I’m a bit slow). FP for sure, here. Thanks Davidwazza for taking over the maintenance of this cache. All good here. TFTC
My target cache today was a nearby puzzle one so I decided to continue my walk and find the Wingaap caches near the road, doing a circuit. I've not found many of Wingaap's caches before but found five today - so a lot of fun, except for the ups and downs walking along the Nebo Road Fire Break. What a fun piece of artwork and thanks for maintaining it. I'll be giving a few FPs today . Tftc
On a day out with Barbbowman today discovering an area I have hardly ever seen. Now that I live closer - I shall be able to do more of the ones around here - it was a hot day too so that slowed us down a bit. A great day out with lots of laughs and finds. All caches were in good condition - or if needing maintenance we took care of it as we went around.
Thanks to the owners for adding to our enjoyment of the game today.
This was particularly amazing! My knee held up thanks goodness!

A minor milestone for us here. Cache #300. A very cool hide indeed!! Thank you placing and maintaining - take another Fav point from me!
This morning, I was able to escape for a few hours and took a drive along Mount Nebo Road with the objective of finding a few more creative and well-constructed geocaches hidden by wingaap. After finding a few, I parked at the top of Duck Creek Track, and made the descent down, hoping to find a few locations that Indiana Co had visited. A nice walk around Mount Arum Gold Mine area, and the creek nearby was quite tranquil, before I ran out of time and needed to ascend back to the car. I made a few final stops along Mount Nebo Road as I returned back home.
After starting to walk towards this geocache, I spotted something rather red and circular in the distance, which made it reasonably quick to find upon my arrival. Wow, this geocache was so well made, that I loved it! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks wingaap for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. A Favourite Point from me! If help is required to maintain, then I'm happy to help in the future, or adopt if need be!

We were tempted to do one more for the afternoon and it didn't take much convincing for one last bush bash. Walking through the bush we spotted something bright and headed over for a better look. Wow. This one is very clever. We took a few pictures before signing the log and heading home for the afternoon. A very satisfying "Wingaap" afternoon with 6 unbelievable finds all up. With so many more to do out this way, we are already planning the next adventure out to "Wingaap Drive. All the effort and hard work on all these caches can never be appreciated enough. A must do for everyone. TFTC. Have another fave point...
Now this was one off my favourites. Who am I kidding, they were all my favourites
I’m glad that little snake was non-venomous.
Thank you so much for your awesome caches and amazing art.

I wish I had more favourite points for these caches but I only have one and this one was my favourite for the day! GPS was a little bouncy so I was definitely overlooking this one as it was the first for the day until my muggle partner easily spotted it several metres away and I felt a little silly that I managed to miss it! Very impressive and a great use of materials and the theme all came together once I found it. TFTC
Got my finger bitten by the guard! This was a sensational cache. Still out on foot finding bush caches. TFTC
Nearby bush has burned but the cache is unharmed.
A will made temptation!
Thank you for placing this geocache wingaap

On a legendary wingaap tour, if this is the first super excited to see his work.. Probably my favourite on first one tftc!!
Out to continue my trad a day and my cache a day challenges, which is now starting to become a difficult challenge due to fitting it in with my work and the lack of local caches. While I managed to get away from work early today I have had this area on my target list for a while now. I will only get two today and come back tomorrow to get a few more in this area. Not sure what to expect with the caches in this area as there has been some control burning in the area.
Wow how funny, another wingaap cache and another cool design and themed cache. Spotted the cache from distance away, made my way over and noted all good with this one, even had a TB in there.
Thanks for placing this one here, enjoyed this one, all good with the cache and log.

Very clever. It took Mayfly06 and I a few minutes to get, but we got there eventually!!! This cache was great fun, left a TB, cache still in excellent condition tftc!
Great cache TFTC found with erm_the_worm looks like a lot of work went in to this one
Totally blown away by the effort in this one. Inspiring for future cache placing. TFTC.
My last find on what has been an awesome day.
I love the work that has gone into this, and all other of your caches wingaap. Another fav from me.
Log signed and replaced as found. All is good with the cache.
Thanks wingaap for an awesome afternoon of caching.

Well, this was very clever! Well done Wingaap on another great cache.
Headed out along Mt Nebo Road today with the oldest geokid, looking for some of Queensland's oldest and/or most loved caches. Wingaap was the CO for quite a few of them!
Unfortunately, we lost our pen somewhere on the path for the first cache. We have taken photos of the log for the CO.
This cache and the log is in great condition. With the backdrop of some rain clouds, and green lush bush from the recent rains, GZ was looking very beautiful.
Thanks for taking us here. TB visit

A lot quieter on the road this morning which made the drive more enjoyable. Parked on the side and headed bush, keeping an eye out for a wingaap creation. Couldn't initially see anything where my phone had me, but I suddenly caught a glimpse of something highly unusual. Signed the log and farewelled the guardian. Tftc winaap
We wanted to find these highly rated caches during the cache carnival but other challenges and schedules got in the way.
TFTC wingaap. We spotted the cache from a distance. Such a cutie! We'll be running out of favourite points this trip!

Out in the area with E_Smiley picking up a few highly recommended caches that have been on our to-do list for quite some time. This was a beauty and stood out in the bush, well done CO, a favorite point from me.

Out with the little ones, climbing big hills and falling down small ones (a little cachet, not me). Found this one and now picnicking at top of trail. Tftc! Teazr, Spellzen, Chase and Zayne
After a great effort from Chase and Zayne. We made our way to this great cache! This was a beautiful container and an excellent hide! Worth every one of its FPs!
Cheers! Spellzen, Teazr, Chase and Zayne.

I hadnt realised the tree had fallen down. Cache and guardian relocated to a nearby tree. Cache replaced. All good to go....happy hunting
I must remember that thongs are not great to wear in the bush. I was a little hesitant getting closer but soon realised it was all good. Left some fairy dust. Top of cache has a hole in it... might need replacing soon. Thanks for bringing us here.
What a great way to finish an awesome day exploring! Already had an idea of what the cache may look like by its name and description, however our coordinates were jumping a little, so it was all the sweeter when we finally found it. The cache itself was damaged in a way that we couldn’t repair, so we put both logbooks in an extra ziplock just to be sure.
As Adam was tempted by Eve! Superb cache!!! Great morning to do a hill or three! Tftc
I had been craving a Geocaching adventure for quite a while and with the Cache Carnival still happening I thought finding creative caches in the area would be incredible and it would also get up my points.
We parked the car in a safe spot nearby and headed towards this cache. I certainly hadn’t prepared for some of the steep hill climbs and the bush bashing because I am prone to losing my footing (it was proven on multiple occasions haha!) but it was CERTAINLY worth it! Thank you for placing this absolute beauty. A favourite point from me. TFTC!

Now I am chasing points for Cache Carnival Souvenirs challenge. I have now got all 5 Souvenirs TFTC Wingaap #764 D17and 3 DNF
Am in Bne visiting daughter. With a bit of time to myself, I decided to get some Carnival points. Parking near GZ was the fun bit. No problem finding the cache. Nicely done. TFTC wingaap
Up and down the hills we traipsed but it was such fun finding your caches as we walked. We now knew to expect the unexpected. Love your work - very creative.
All is nice and dry here. Took a TB and dropped a TB.
Another Fav Point from us.
Thanks heaps.

Even before we began the process of going up and down the hills on this goat track, I was suffering from a severe case of oldman-itis. Two weeks ago I woke up one day and thought it was time to lose the beer gut. Even though I’m proud of the sculpted ale-stomach that I have been working on for 30 years, I decided I needed to run it off. About 5 minutes into the run I pulled up lame with a busted calve and have been a bit hampered ever since. I now have the six-pack stomach but the problem is that I also have the rest of the carton plus a few more palettes of beer onboard as well.
It was time to test the injury out and it didn’t go as well as I thought. I was supremely overconfident but it didn’t take long for my confidence to be smashed unlike more beers at the pub. The downhill stretches turned from glory into a nightmare as I started hobbling like an injured racehorse that has a romantic date with a bullet.
I was struggling with the new phone update to the geo-app but once we got close I had to put it away. Thankfully Mrs Woodyrothwell spied the cache through a wall of lantana and after stamping the log, I had to push on with the injury. I had to prove to myself that my body is still 20 years old like in my dreams, but in reality I probably need to be put out to pasture. tftc

I was at Walkabout Creek and happened to have a TB that had been burning a hole in my pocket for a little longer than I'd envisaged, so I thought I'd place it in "Christmas Bells", which I'd not yet visited, and which is right there at the reservoir. The cache description was "large", so I didn't think it would be a problem to add a TB. It was, though – and if you've seen that cache you'll understand why!
Looking on my map, I noticed a cluster of wingaap caches that I found back at the start of my caching journey but didn't post at the time – I've been meaning to get back to them with the geokids. Figuring there'd be some decent-sized containers among them, I jumped in the car and headed for the closest one to Walkabout, which was this one (800m or so).
After a scurry along a hot track and an easy little bush bash, I had my hands on the forbidden fruit. With the log signed and the TB safely stashed, I jogged back to the car and headed back down the mountain. Thanks for the cool cache, wingaap.

We came for a drive on this beautiful Sunday morning, and have gone into the bush to do some walking. We are keen to pick up a few geocaches along the way and this one was a second for the day. At GZ we were more than surprised to see a lovely cache container , however right next to it less than a metre away was the very fresh carcass of a python snake which has clearly just been eaten by some other animal. It seemed rather a coincidence to have both of these serpents so close together.
Thanks for the excellent hide Wingaap.

This is an absolutely great series of caches by Wingapp. I’m over in Breakfast Shane for s couple of months and just needed to get out the city for a bit of R&R. What better way than Wingapps caches. I have some good ideas to take back to the UK. Thanks.
Out for the day with nikid1 on our second trip to Wingaap Drive & the fabulous caches continue. My temptation (or maybe that should be weakness) would have to be chocolate but clearly that's not the direction the CO was heading in. Nic spotted this one & it was yet another great cache.

Out caching with KerriMG. We discussed all type of temptations on the way to GZ. Chocolate, wine maybe we where getting hungry and thirsty. Laughed when I saw the cache. Oh course!
Fabulous!

Friday. Great cache container, but yes, as previously noted, now on the ground, not up high. Glad I was now finally at the end of my caching day, as it was very high humidity, spitting to the point of almost raining and the thunder was still all around. Signed the log and replaced back inside the cache. Thank you for bringing me to this wonderful area! I will be back to collect some more caches in the near future.
This was the 11th of 11 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***wingaap***, for showing us this place.

What a grand hide, too bad its on the ground! Recent storms must've knocked a few caches around so this was one of them. Still it was a great walk to a nice hide. TFTC
All the caches along the "Wingaap Way" are fantastic, so we decided to break up the hunt in smaller sections to appreciate each of them rather than power trail along. Today, we went out to gather another handful of these gems.
Nice idea. I think there was more than logbook here. We scribbled our names after the most recent entry we could find.

Out exploring the area today with the family.
We walked up to this one from Walkabout Creek.
Fantastic cache creation, loved the guardian and the theme.
Im not one to shy away from temptation so log retrieved and signed. FP from me!
Thanks for the cache wingaap!

Very clever cache, easily found. You can see a lot of care and effort went into this - thank you!
On the way to this one I thought carefully what I might be looking for and I was right. Superb application. So glad we waited until over 1000 finds to start exploring Wingaap Way. Tftc
Thank u. U r an artist. We have had so much fun doing your trail. We have done the ones down the middle but we will have to come bAck to do them.
Was looking at my geocaching map for potential places to cache today on my day off. Northwest seemed like an attractive option - I haven't explored too far past Ashgrove and Mt Coot-Tha. As a bonus, it seemed like there were quite a few caches with quite a lot of favourite points. Decision made! I hiked the loop along the firebreaks and Duck Creek Rd. This particular cache no longer matches up to the hint, but is otherwise in excellent condition (if a little faded!). This was the first wingaap cache of the loop. I have to say, the caches on this loop rivalled the McHoots series on the southside as my equal favourite caching experience in Brisbane!
I had solved the puzzle for the special souvenir when I got the email a week ago and so needed to find an area to cache where there would be at least one cache fitting the criteria. All my finds today ended up fitting said criteria. Wow this was a pretty awesome find! Hiked up to this cache from Bob H. Very well put together. Made me laugh too. Very cool cache. TFTC
