Night walking around caches from Morningside. I have seen some object inside, thought that is a cache. Aauuuvej I got a stinging from wasps. It was not cache but wasps nest. Cache is not there. Checked all possible places. Funny I was second person here today with the same wasps incident. Regards from Czechia.
Reached inside the metal railing looking for it and got stung by wasps, think this is it for me today, OW
Sometimes it pays to read the logs. Found without any injury. Awesome view indeed. Tftc
Found quickly. WASP ALERT. I was stung immediately. The pain is like nothing else
This one has been on my list for a while now. Today driving past I decided to stop in. With a good idea of where the cache was and no spider webs in sight I stuck my hand in for the grab. Quickly retreating as I had put my hand right into a wasps nest. After a little giggle to myself while checking for bites I grabbed some tools from the car and let the wasps settle. Using the camera on my phone and the chosen TOTT I was able to make an extraction without further disturbing the wasps. I managed to add my name to the log and escape without any bites, phew, that was fun. Tftc lingua-file
This morning, it was only a quick outing in attending the Gibson Island CITO. Following catching up with a few Geocachers and doing my part in picking up rubbish, I detoured back home via Carina in grabbing a few geocaches.
Whilst on route to the CITO event, I decided to make a quick stop at this geoache. I was surprised that this geocache doesn’t get found too much, as the last find was back in May, and it was quite an easy find with the hint. Awesome views indeed and quite a random spot! I also thought the mansion opposite the transformer equally looked like it had great views. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, even if the container was a little rusted. Thanks Turtle2008 for the cache placement, and PJATPAC and lingua-file for its ongoing maintenance.

Who would have guessed that this is a road & not just a driveway to magnificent houses with amazing views. TFTC
A nice easy find today while waiting for the bridal party to arrive.

Grey nomads travelling around Australia in our caravan. Held up a bit due to Covid19, so currently in Queensland only, but there are plenty of caches in our home state that we have not yet found. Currently, doing a lap around South East Queensland, we have been house sitting in Toowoomba. Today, we visited Brisvegas for surgion and podiatrist, with four hours between appointments, so we had time to chase some caches.
After our previous cache, quite close by, it took us almost half an hour to get here, given the "no right turns" on to Wynnum Road, so we had a lovely drive through the neighbourhood before eventually getting on to a road where we could do a right hand turn. Then we nearly missed the turn to this pretty spot.
Wow. Love Galloway! Love the view (later we took a quick city cat, and spotted the spot from the river as well) Thanks Turtle 2008, PJATPAc & lingua-file

[Logged 3/09/20 - sincere apologies for the late note!]
Took a friend to this one for her first cache, on a walk around the suburb. Spotted it on the walk up but waited for her to set eyes on it before I said anything! Nice and simple introduction. TFTC

I bought a new bike and today was my chance for a bigger test ride and legally being outside doing exercises.
Found quickly.

Great view of the city lights at night. Scoob retrieved the cache from its hidey hole
We came across your cache, Turtle2008 (Adopted by PJATPAC, lingua-file), on our geocaching day around the Bulimba area to clear up a few missing smileys.
Nice quick find. Great river views.

Out with RoddyC today to pick up a few caches. Maybe CO needs to check out this cache as it was not as expected.

Just because I come this way time to time I offered to replace the cache housing. I had no reply so I've transferred the log to a magnetic mint tin and put in a new log for when the current one runs out. It's in exactly the same location. So if you search for it, look for the magnetic tin rather than a film cannister
Nice quick find, but the neighbours can definitely see! Log seems to be tucked into a long metal object rather than a film cannister as listed...
Had spent the long weekend in Brisbane. Found after check out of our hotel and on our way to Gumdale to visit a friend before heading back to Melbourne.

What a stunning view. From the map, as we drove towards GZ, we certainly weren’t expecting that.
It is so high here and the Gumtrees look beautiful in the afternoon sun with the river behind.
Some great real estate at GZ !
Thanks for showing us this beautiful spot. Log signed.

Out caching with stortigirls, the weather put paid to our original plans, so we made a new plan.. Next, we came to this cache. I love caches that take me somewhere for a reason......and this is one of those!!!!! WHAT a stunning view!!! We almost forgot the reason we were there! Luckily, we did remember and soon located the cache. After adding our names to the log and returning the cache to its spot, we took another long look a the view before we headed on our way. TFTC
I spent the day today caching with Selva Girls attempting to clear an area. We followed the map, turning up the side street, and wow, what a view! I also admired the very dilapidated house which was quaint from the front but spectacular from the back. That's on my list to buy and renovate if I win the lotto! The cache was found quickly after we admired the view and took a few pics. Tftc lingua-file!
Out with KerriMG grabbig a few caches.
Admired some of the nearby houses and the view.
Then quickly found a cache.
Thanks

Out for the day with nikid1 creating some smilies on the southside.
Managed to nab a park right at GZ & made a quick find. Log signed & replaced as found then sent some time admiring the view of both the river & the beautiful houses.

Out to do a challenge today (25 different D/T's) with geofriends. I do like caches that are placed where there are great views. This is one of them. After admiring the view, the cache was quickly found. TFTC
On a mission today with geo friends to complete the Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge (QLD) and this was our first for the day where a nice quick find was made. Thanks PJATPAC, lingua-file and TFTC
WOW! What a wonderful view across the river to the city centre. A quick find was made, views admired and then we were on our way. TFTC.
Found easily between appointments. Nice view from here, looks to be flood proof too. TFTC
Day 6 of a streak to see how many I can get in one day. Thoroughly enjoying it so far.
Grabbed this one on the way to work this morning, I had actually been here once before to grab it but they were doing some construction and had about seven hundred workers sitting on the guard rail. Chose not to disturb them so left empty handed.
Today was a different story however, arrived to an empty area, find was quickly made (i mean the hint and description made it pretty easy haha), log signed and re-hidden then off for another day doing the greatest job in the world.
Awesome to see that this cache has gone through three different sets of hands to continue it on, thank you to all of you for continuing this one - wonder what cache will be on the cards for tomorrow.

On our way to the movies and we see a huge ship on the river. Hubby finds us a park to sit and watch the ship pass. Just happens to be a cache here.
Geodaughter finds it immediately. Just as she was about to blow out the log, out pops the gecko. Maybe I should have warned her but that's no fun .
A quick flick and log is retrieved.

7th of the day, OCW ESCR so I could complete my 25d/t in a day and it ended up being 30 d/t in a day. What a great find and we had a laugh or 2 as ESCR blew into the cache and she was thankful she didnt try to suck it out as there was a gecko living inside which surprised both of us and a lil squeal was let out followed by some laughs, thanks goodness no one was around to watch us lol. What a gorgeous house thats here and they would have some AMAZING views!!! TFTC
In Brisbane for a few days of catching up with an old friend. A beautiful afternoon for a walk and how lucky to find a cache.
This cache has a special guardian a gecko watching over it.
Thanks from mogni

Had no idea this street was here, but I'm staying nearby so it's worth a visit. Was expecting a file canister, but signed a log either way.
Unfortunately the cloud cover didn't provide much of a view, but I used to live at Kangaroo Point so I know what I'm missing.

Find #2213
I was looking for a quick park and grab today for my found date calendar before I had to meet friends in South Bank. I had been heading for a cache at Kangaroo Point but, at the last minute, decided that this might be quicker.
I parked 2m from GZ and made a quick find before admiring the views of the city which were spectacular even in the darkness before dawn.

What a spectacular view to behold. Good place to relax with a drink and a snack to watch the sunset.
Thank you CO for the cache.
PS. Cache is no longer a film canister but rather a metal tube.

Was in the area picking up a few caches and thought one more before I have to go home. This one sounded interesting so after a bit of back-tracking arrived at GZ. Double parked as car park full but was not there long. Found what I think is the cache but no longer a film canister. Signed logsheet and replaced it where I found it. The view is spectacular but even more so was the house across the road. My SIL has the same surname, so was wondering if he might be related. Will have to ask.
Thanks for bringing me here. Terrific spot.
