Unfortunately this cache has gone - the whole area has been bulldozed and new facilities built. Don't know when we can get back into the area to find a new hidey hole so archiving for now
Clearly this one has gone due to recent redevelopment works. A pity for this old cache.
Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat, we are currently based in Foster.
Headed out today to visit Wilsons Promontory and stopped here on our way back to the camp. Only 1 caravan camped up here today so not many muggles to contend with. Took a bit of searching to find the well covered cache but got there.
TFTC and letting us use Geocaching to tour the local area. Looking forward to meeting other geocachers at the next Australian Geocaching Mega event

A team effort had this one quickly found after Mr close - by had 2 unsuccessful attempts yesterday. We are very pleased to have found this after the 2 previous experienced cachers failed to locate it. The coordinates are spot on. TN left a keyring. There was no Trackable.
We spent the night at this place before going to the nearby NP. Although we searched for a long time we couldn't find the cache.....
Tftc stealth required in this popular overnight free camp spot.left the cache bear, no other trackables there! Great keys rings geokids excited.
A day out caching with friends Liz & Bruce to see the beautiful scenery and get some caches in the process. Each and every cache led us to another beautiful spot and we a very thankful to FlyingPigSquadron for hiding this particular cache.
Heading off to Wilsons Prom today - we did some lovely walks and we also appreciated the drive by caches that rewarded with wonderful views and scenery as well as a cache. This was one of the caches we targetted and were able to find in conjunction with caching friends LazzaL. This is a great spot for caravanners to stay overnight. Thanks to FlyingPigSquadron.
Wanted to go to the Prom, but the weather sucked so we turned around. Got this cache at least.

Great overnight stop for the campervan community. Pity not all of them leave it in the state in which I'm sure they would like to find it.
The cache was still in its hide and in good condition. Took nothing but left TB "Biggles Dog Tag" (A teddy) in the hope that some overseas camper might pick him up.

Just returned from a few days camping at Shallow Inlet. Had fun finding various caches, this was one of the easier to find!
Found with geo friends. Didn't have a keyring to swap. A couple of non key ring objects in cache
Day trip to The Prom from Inverloch.
Swapped a purple bike key ring for a golf ball (not a key ring, but still good for a hit).
Mr Whit managed almost $10 from nearby playground with detector and GeoKeegs had a blast too!
TFTC a fav from us for the concept and also the memories

Had to come back today as there were too many muggles around yesterday. Easy find, tftc. Caching with Smurfy & Dustieann
A quick and easy find thanks to spot on coords. The container is getting old with a few ants calling it home. Had an ice cream after completing the find. TNLN SL TFTC.
A quick find on the way into the prom. Left a range of swaps for the school holidays. Cleaned out cache of dirt. sorry no key rings with us
This one took a bit to find as it was so cold we didn't do a proper search. Bear found this cache. We are visiting from Townsville.

I found this cache on a lovely winter afternoon at the prom. I was due to meet up with ahomburg, drjim7 and josiey later in the day so I had a few hours to kill. What better to do than nab a few caches?
This cache was a nice easy find and the contents made me laugh. Reminded me of some parties I used to go to when I was younger.
Thanks FlyingPigSquadron for a great cache.

Find # 2920
Well, it was the Queens Birthday weekend and I had set the whole weekend aside to go caching. I would start at Cape Liptrap and make my way around the coast towards Wilsons Prom. There I would meet up with DrJim7, Josiey, Day1976 and hopefully Team Oaky for a fun weekend of caching and catching up with the BWWC members.
Continuing along the road to the Prom, I stopped at this one for a quick break and to find this cache. My GPSR phone initially led me down the garden path, but eventually settled and I was soon at GZ and the cache in hand. Nothing appropriate to swap today.
Thanks to FlyingPigSquadron for the cache. TNLN

We have been looking foward to visiting Wilsons Prom for ages.
Finally the day was here and the weather was superb for a May day.
The whole place is very beautiful and the highlight of the day was the walk up Mt Oberon.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides down here.

We tried to pick this one up in the morning, but the lawns were being mown and there were campers there - we'll try on the way back we thought. We did try but this time there were even more campers and kids on the swings - we give up! It'll have to wait till our next visit - thanks anyway.

Another cache on our way home from Wilsons Prom. We did not have any key-rings, but dropped TB Lizard.
We found this nice one while spending two beautiful days in Walkerville (BearGullyCottages) & The Prom!
On our way to the Prom for a few nights, so we just had to stop and find this one.
Took nothing, left a bunnings and a dolphin key ring.

Found 5:17pm , find # 1869
We were camping down at Tidal River this week.
Today I had a caching day and headed north to find some nearby caches.
I had carefully collected three key rings to add to this cache, and I had high expectations as I approached.
But wait, my GPS is pointing a playground, nooooo !!!!!!
With some relief, it went past the playground but then worse, it placed me fairly and squarely in the doorway of a smelly men's toilet. I couldn't believe it.
Then I reasoned that it couldn't possibly be there and moved back away to the more obvious spot, still too close to both the evil cache unfriendly places for my liking.
After a search, which included a number of spikes and scratches I discovered the cache, but not before dismissing it as something else, good camo.
I retrieved it and opened it, it still contained a good selection of key rings, now supplemented by my three.
I signed the log and replaced it, and beat a hasty retreat, as some kids had arrived at the playground and the toilet was now being used.
Thanks FlyingPigSquadron.

A long weekend camping trip to Wilsons Promontory had us departing home Saturday morning with the goal of finding 12 caches to reach our milestone 500th find.
?After dodging a few tourist muggles we had to ‘lift’ Campbell into the GZ to retrieve the cache. We took note of the keyrings, signed the log, and replaced the cache before retrieving Campbell. It looks like some clearing of the shrubs around GZ may have made this cache a little harder to retrieve than previously. It’s by no means unobtainable by anyone. We just made use of the 7 year old we had on hand.

This was the last of the finds for the day. Was by far the hardest to find as it was dark and some one had dumped some old branches in the area of the cache and this made access very difficult. Finally found it. TNLN. 12 of 12.

Had tried to suss this one out on a previous trip but there were too many muggles around for me to conduct a proper search. Back again today with Mr 2max in tow, and luckily the place was deserted! Made the quick find with only a couple of scratches to show for my efforts (I swear it felt like there should have been more). What a nice assortment of keyrings! Took the Do Not Disturb KR, and left a Aussie KR as well as a tapemeasure KR. Thanks for the well disguised cache FlyingPigSquadron, and for the interesting cache contents concept.
After reading the last post (DNF) Iwasn't hopeful, but we (or should I say The Boss) found this one fairly quickly although she did grumble about a scratch or two afterwards. Cache is good. TFTC
An easy find on the way back to Morwell after a very pleasant day at the Prom. We are now eagerly waiting for 4 days of square dancig at the Victorian State Convention. TNLN TFTC.
Stopped for a coffee and the call of nature, loved the collection of keyrings, and so glad to see that no rubbish had been left as is sometimes the case. Took Aussie thong KR dropped off Do Not Disturb KR. Well done FlyingPigSquadron TFTC
I came past a few days before but there were campers cooking dinner so visited on the way out of the Prom. TFTC. TNLN.
Thanks for the cache. Put in a Key ring that I've carried for 20 years as well as a small deck of playing cards. Took the geo coin.
A quick stop on our way to the Prom, pity the only keyring we had was attached to a TB, so no swaps were made. Left a geocoin, TFTC

Staying in Yanakie so we stopped for a look on the way to the Duck point walk. The boys were distracted by the playground so I had this one all to myself. Fast find. Loved the keyrings! TFTC SL
Found today on our way to the "Prom". Cache is dry and safe & where the GPS pointed. Swapped keyring with one of mine. TFTC

We had some great keyrings to leave in this cache - but we could not find it. Just getting into the search when a family arrived to play.
