With all the DNF's this one will need to be Archived. Also the fact that the CO was last on the website as below.

Last Visit:Sunday, 07 November 2010
This was on our radar for the island and after many DNF in the last couple of months decided with 4 GPS's and 6 sets of eyes to try anyway....Gave it 30 mins and found what we thought was the obvious spot but No luck.....However did find a nice secluded spot to swim / relax.......Noted for next time...
We weren't confident following the previous logs and after about half an hour of searching we gave up on this one too - reckon it might be time for the CO to pay a visit and sort this one out - great spot though
A cycling day trip to Coochie today. We thought to give this one a go anyway, in spite of a few DNFs. But with 3 sets of eyes and 2 GPS we unfortunately have to add our name to the list of DNF. Great area, thanks anyway.
Couldn't find it unfortunately, but I loved looking through all the tangled mangroves!
I believe with all the DNF's this one is well and truly gone. It would also seem that the CO has not checking in since November 2010. So this one may need to be Archived now.
Searched high and low couldn't find it . Gps was sending us all over the place under the trees we will try again the kids loved climbing the trees
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Out and about on the island for the CITO event today, and also finding some caches. This one was found after a bit of searching! I used to love climbing these trees as a kid!
Thanks for bringing us here Deen1200

I was out and about with the lovely Lady membsec and my three crazy munchkins. We had ventured from the mainland for the CITO event that was being held today. After greeting the mob and picking up a bag we headed out to do the walk around this beautiful island. Oh, some how we managed to pick up Captain Terror along the way too.
Well, after a few caches and a bit of a walk the munchkins were getting restless. It's a mighty big walk for little legs. This cache gave them the opportunity to use their arms instead. While they monkied around for a bit, the taller people in our group went off to find a cache. A short search later and we had the cache to hand. We signed the log and replaced the cache as found.

What a beautiful island to spend a day on! Out with Nyssaflutterby and membsec while attending the nearby CITO event and making our way around the island on foot.
This one was next for us and what a nice spot it was too. Lots of climbing opportunities near GZ. Mrs. Membsec made the find for the team here today and we were all able to sign the logbook. Thanks for hiding a cache in such a lovely place to visit. TFTC Deen1200

Found this cache whilst walking around the island with P`Prime, Fangsoki and Xusia before the CITO event started. Poor Xusia's Gpsr was still out for this one and had him looking a good distance from where i spotted the container just sticking out with its "completely natural" camo. Thanks for the cache Deen1200
Were here with the CITO event and were making our way around the island in a clockwise fashion. Time was getting short so we quickly ran it and made the find. Nothing difficult about this one. TFTC Deen1200.
In town for the CITO and it would be just rude not to smilie a few caches on the island now wouldn't it? With Fangsoki, net88 and Xusia along for the exercise we headed off to grab rubbish, and some smilies. Am really enjoying the walk along the shoreline of the island, just gorgeous. Good stuff.
Thanks for placing this cache, Deen1200. Found in good condition.

We were over on Coochie for the event, and this one was next up on the list as we made our way around on the island. A quick find, and we were off to the next one

At this stage we had a Geocaching cycling convoy . Manic wombat, Mighty Mouse, myself and the geokids appreciated the view from the beach here. I'll add a photo soon. Manic Wombat & Mighty Mouse spotted the goods from some way off but were kind enough to let the geokids make the find. Swaps done here, log signed & replaced as found.
Cheers Deen1200

Our geocaching cycle convoy rolled up near GZ and we set off to find the cache. We got a little distracted by the wonderful view from the nearby beach but before long resumed the search. Nice easy find and with business done we set off to the next one. Cheers Deen1200
Really nice spot. Found cache after a little search, signed log and was off to the next. TFTC Deen1200
Another lovely location on Coochie Mudlo that deserved a cache here. Such a pretty spot along the beach just here and a pleasure to visit. Hunted around under the trees and in short shrift had ourselves a log book to sign. Thanks Deen1200 for placing a cache here to add to our enjoyment today. We are over here as part of the special CITO event run by Captain Trash n Terror. Took: 0 Left: pathtag.
2nd cache for the day at the Coochie CITO.
Surprisingly at this stage of the morning, there were still no other cachers in sight. Needed a close look to find the well covered cache, but log quickly signed and off to the next.

I am on Coochie Island for the CITO event today.
We slowly made our way from the event to this cache cleaning as we went.
The cache is dry and in good condition as well.

While attending the CITO on the island today I was able to log this cache together with a whole buch of happy cachers.

This one was just a little bit different to what I expected, I am sure that there must be some easier way, but from the approach on the last cache the only way down was a little bit steep and well not exactly easy. Either way I made it down in pursuit of EggintheSky and BrotherColin, only to to see the cache being extracted by Egginthesky.

Out and about with the lovely Nyssaflutterby, her munchkins and Captain Terror cleaning up the island and finding some caches. This one was found quickly but it took some time trying to get two of the munchkins out of the nearby climbing trees! Great area, thanks for bringing us here.

Onward on our walk around Coochie carrying our CITO rubbish bag and this was the next on our list. We met up with Aussie Liahona who were riding a tandam bike and were waiting for us at GZ.
We quickly went in for the hunt and came up with the prize.
Took GC coin and left a sandcrab mould for the sand.
TFTC Thanks Deen1200 All good with this cache

Pedalling around the island on a beautifull sunny day. Had a look out over the beach before retrieving the cache and signing the log. TFTC
Seriously, I wasn't looking in the wrong tree Fangsoki. I really truly wasn't. I had just spotted an empty beer bottle, that's all and since we were on a CITO event, I thought I'd let you guys find the cache. Honest. I truly wasn't searching 10 metres from GZ.
I was lucky enough to be in the company of several far more experienced geocachers: Fangsoki, Pprime and Net88, and luckily because I was there I am allowed to log this find. Because I'm afraid I was 10 metres out and in completely the wrong place when it was uncovered. The bit about the empty beer bottle was true though. Thanks Deen1200. Great cache.

Almost halfway around the island. With a few eyes looking the cache was soon spotted
Headed south this morning to meet up with teamdfl, svn07, barbbowman and fasted59 for a morning of fun and a few caches on Coochiemudlo Island
It's a lovely walk around the island and along here we admired some of the houses. Then fasted svn07 told us to stop talking and get to the cache! fasted led the way in and it was another quick find. I reckon the people in those houses must wonder why people stop at this spot! TFTC, Deen1200.

My turn for the find on this one. Nice quick find. Container has a split on the end, but contents are fine.

Lovely day out with barbbowman, IolantheK, TeamDFL and Fast Ed. I had found the other caches on the island long ago so this was to be my only other find for the day. A lovely part of the island and would indeed be great for a picnic.
Thanks for the cache, Deen1200. Cheers, svn07

Continuing my solo 3 hour trek around Coochie today.
After "Coup", I followed the track north and then onto the beach. Eventually I looked down at my GPSr and realised I was very close. Some clambering in and around, and at last an easy cache was uncovered. All was in pretty good nick,so I dropped a TB for the next visitors and recovered it thoroughly. TFTC!

it was a nice and sunny day I'm glad there are some geocaches like this on the island. TFTC!
Our 4th cache on the Island, We almost skipped a trip to the Island but when we saw the great cluster of caches here we just had to take the detour. Thanks
This, like the others on the island are a real treat to find. Such a beautiful area on a near perfect day.. (perfect means that the XXXX truck would be behind me while I walked across the island following my every move..
Anyway, back to the cache. All good today. Container and contents in good order.
Thanks for bringing me here Deen120

Decided that today was the day that we'd make the trek across the water and check out Coochie!!
Managed to find all 5 of the caches on the island while we made our way around the Coochiemudlo Trail.
This was the third and finally a log we could sign!!

After climbing all the way through one tree the iPhone decided we were wrong and that the cache was actually in the totally opposite direction. Once found gz cache was soon in hand and log signed.
Found it with geowife. Nice area but less breeze than southern part of island. WHERE IS DANIEL 2:22? Where could he be? TFTC
We continued our walk around the island to this one. Took quite a bit of searching in all the wrong spots before we saw it. And how could we have missed it!? Love all the trees in the area. Thanks Deen1200
Went to the island for a lovely walk. The cache is on one of my favourite secluded parts of the island. Well worth the visit. Bring a camera and see if you can catch a photo of the jumping mullet fish. Or a line to see if you catch anything.
We moored our kayaks pretty close to GZ and enjoyed the view whilst eating our picnic lunch. We soon found the cache nice and dry and loved the great tree nearby. We stayed so long that our kayaks were left hi and dry by the receding tide! TFTC.
Nice hide, found with geofriends & great spot nearby for geokids pretending to be Tarzan. Cache in good shape, signed log. Cheers
I initially started searching at the wrong level I shifted my focus and soon had the cache in hand. All is fine.
Thanks for the walk around Coochie.

Very relaxful area and great easy hide. Lots of people fishing today but who could blame them. TFTC
Dannza and myself set out today in the rain with rain ponchos in our backpacks thinking we may be a little crazy as we made our way to the barge to visit Coochie today. We had planned the trip earlier in the week and had both been looking forward to walking around the island today. But the day ended up beautiful! After getting rather wet whilst retrieving the last cache it was pleasant to find this cache easily and it was in great condition. Lovely area. We used to bring the kids here when they where little for a day at the beach and to fish. TN L: Mario TB
at 11:17. Cyndi picked it pretty quickly.
TFTC Deen1200. The cache is OK though the logbook is slightly damp.

Quick and easy find just across from our holiday home on Coochiemudlo. TFTC.
I am so glad I found this one. My phone GPS was leading me around in circles and I had already spent half an hour trying to decipher the clues for another cache that did not jump out at me... Grrr. I was still wandering around with my vague GPS jumping all over the place and the cache showed up under my nose. I left a TB for the next person.
It was a long walk around the island and I didn't even try the last two. Had a lovely long walk in a beautiful place and a dip in the ocean. The sea was still a bit dirty from the floods but it was a great day out anyway. TFTC

Quite a hard find because phone gps stuffed up. Overall good fun. Mosquitoes galore.
Fangsoki and I were wallking around the island and tracking down the four caches.
This was number two and we had to wait for some muggles to be-gone themselves before returning the cache.
This is a nice part of the world and the walk around the island was great.
TFTC Deen1200.
While signing the log one of those pesky cache dwelling frogs hopped on in.

I am still perplexed why I did not have this cache on my PDA. Thankfully Radnoski did - so I followed him to GZ. Of course, Radnoski took us the most difficult way to the cache. - but we got there in the end. I played spotter of muggles near GZ while Radnoski retrieved and returned the cache. TFTC Deen1200 - we are loving this island so far
Our 2nd find for the day, fun place to play if you get tired of searching. Watch out for the mozzies! Cache is in great nick, left some lucky coins and took a horseshoe necklace - the kids are sure this brought bad luck to the wearer, as the horseshoes are hanging down... they still had a fun day though!
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
I was getting sick of work [xx(] and it was after 4pm and finally there was an excuse to stop . . . cache published!!
Loaded the GPS, jumped on the pushie and raced down to the ferry terminal.
Coochie is pretty close but I haven't been here for about 10 years !!
Back on the bike, broke the local speed limit . . . 8kph but I think the local cars were doing closer to 50kph.
Approached GZ, and my GPS guided me right into an area that was certianly a little more terrain challenged than I expected.
But you can not always trust the GPS, lots of scratching around and finally I had it!!
FTF can be sweet!
Now back on the push bike before it gets too dark.
