Unfortunately we can't find it, but we think it might no longer be there. Found a "bottle cap" lid with a magnet attached, so we think it might have disintegrated, been muggled, or fallen in. TFTH The Empire
Found a "bottle cap" lid with a magnet attached, so we think it might have disintegrated, been muggled, or fallen in. As we were leaving, the magnet came off, and it had obviously been glued on. Could you please check up on this cache? ThanksGeo_Geniuses
Lovely winter's day for a few caches in the area.Found this one pretty easily.TFTC
Nice walk out to this one on a sunny day, really enjoyed visiting the area, there was plenty of bird life about.
Thanks Empire for the cache.
Thanks Empire for the cache.

Log was wet and cache needs some TLC from owner

Lovely spot
Did not find it at all was the worst absolute worst geocache so far! Big trouble to we think that someone has put it somewhere else has no luck.
New log book provided. I read the previous logs and brought a new page with me to change over from the full one. Easy to find once I had an idea of where to look which was provided by a previous finder. One hint - it is not on the handrail.
Took the kids out, hard find but we got there, was quite cautious after we saw a snake
Found thanks to others comments needs a new price of paper to record visitors as it is full
TFtC, found this on eventually. One above and one below. The log is very full!
Unloved days too!

Very lovely little hide.
I cycled out here on a lovely Sunday, and the place was deserted except for this very Spot of course muggles everywhere. So I needed to employ stealth mode big time.

We headed out for a slow 28km cycle around the perimeter of Altona Meadows and along the banks of Skeleton Creek. Bright skies, mild weather, in great company with Mudbrick, and a little bit of caching along the way made for a very enjoyable outing.
First stop of the day was this cache which I DNFd in 2019. I still couldn't find it this time but fortunately had Mudbrick in the team on this occasion. Always easier with a previous finder .
Thanks, The Empire.

Small but we found it relatively easily! This was our first time geo caching. It's good fun! Thanks for hiding!
Spiffy- and I planned a cache day Sunday but the target area was a little undecided. Mainly because rain was coming. Finally we settled on Altona and the large trad trail. So we loaded the stealth bikes in and headed off. Driving there rain was falling, but it was only 10am and it was due at 3pm. Parked at the skate park and still a few spots of rain but so warm so we headed off. A few caches in I went back to my for rain jackets which I wore for only a few minutes then carried. Ironically arrived home sunburnt.
All caches were eventually found and the CO effort on these was great. We appreciated the work and the effort to place them.
Thanks to The Empire for the placement and fun.

I have had my eye on this area for a while so today Fleabag- and I brought the bikes over which made it much easier riding around all these trails. I started out cloudy, then it rained lightly for a while so Fleabag- ducked back to the car for raincoats and then of course the rain stopped and it was really sunny. Just as our few hours here ended it went cloudy and rained again. We found all the caches in the park with no DNF's which was awesome...it's been a while since we've done that.
One of us went above, the other below. I made the find.
Thanks The Empire for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Thanks for hiding this cache and taking us down a different path for a spring afternoon walk.
Great spot. My 9year old was VERY proud to have found it.
BUT whomever put a pretty 'shell' in it, FYI The occupant was still in in the shell and it STANK OF DEATH.

From the previous DNF we had to cross the creek and had spotted a place were we could hop across on some rocks. One of us ( who shall remain nameless) took a small tumble but luckily this was into the long soft grass and not into the water. During our stroll across the swamp we spied an old snake head - possibly left from a skin-shedding but a bit creepy. Cache quickly found at GZ. TFTC!
Was getting a bit dark by the time i got to the area so had to quickly use the phone light to examine a couple of nooks but success ensued. Definitely a micro cache!A nice spot. Thanks!
I think I’m seriously missing something... this is my third time trying to find this cache, yet no luck... a very pretty view though! Thanks for the cache regardless, I’ll be back soon to try again

After a massive night/morning working New Years Eve/Morning today after some much needed sleep was do almost nothing day but cache streak don't continue by them selves so a find each side of midnight would kill two days in one visit.
I had already found a cache before midnight and it was such a lovely night for a walk this one looked like a good option all though I was a little concerned about a few previous DNF's. Especially as one of them was from The_Pacman. With time on my side I made the walk to GZ and with the D/T as my guide and map placement I thought I check a certain spot first and bingo there it was easy as .
Name in th ebook and time for a pleasant walk back to the car at the sports Center.
Thank you The Empire for the hide

Went to Altona for CITO today. The weather was great but later in the afternoon become so strong rain and windy. Luck I went to your cache earlier before CITO Found your cache today. The Empire, thank you so much for placing it.
This 7-day-streak souvenir thing Groundspeak announced over the weekend leaves me with mixed feelings. I like souvenirs, but not having to cache because I feel compelled to by the campaign. I could just leave my finds for a suitable day, but then, no shiny pixel art...
Then there is the issue of bush versus city/suburbs. I have many local caches still to be found, but that means having to contend with muggles. A much longer drive to hassle-free woodlands each day because I *have* to doesn't sound feasible.
Well, of course I want that souvenir. So 7 local caches it will be .
After a DNF earlier today in a playground (yep, muggles...) this looked like a more appealing quiet spot for a find. Who knew several dog walkers would be walking past here at 6pm! I waited them out, started my search, and came up empty-handed. Perhaps in clear daylight I'll have better luck.
Thanks anyway The Empire - I'll try again later this week.

Finally found my very first cach with my dad after months of searching we finally found it thank you very much first one down one of many!
A perfect day to get out and cache. I had planned to meet AlphaDeltaIndigo around 12pm so i grabbed a few caches on the way.
I followed the GPS which took me to the retirement village. I checked the area to find a better approach to GZ.
Thankfully I was able to make a quick find.

Our focus today was to look for recently released caches in the Truganina area and adjacent reserves in Altona. As we walked around we came to appreciate the extensive rehabilitation and development work that has occurred to create a wonderful public space. If the number of people in the area is an indicator, the locals certainly value this great community asset.
There were other caches along the way and this was one of them. We were a little apprehensive as we went to look for this cache given some of the comments in previous logs. However, by approaching from the right angle the cache was a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks The Empire for this cache

I looked for this one a while ago with a DNF. Came back after reading logs about how hard it was and still a DNF. Watched it and found it really was not there. So a return visit was mandatory. I know this structure so well.
My 50th find!! Mini Hallelujah was great help! Whereas big one seemed intent on climbing across the structure! Didn’t have pen as was not meaning to go geocaching so photo of log taken.
Replaced by 'The Man Himself', thanks for the help! This is ready to be found again, apologies for the delay.
