Had high hopes this would be number ten but once again thwarted. We did see the remenants of a Wingaap cache but thats it.
This afternoon, with a few errands completed and a pleasant weather afternoon, I thought I would head out solo back to Mount Nebo. I had previously attempted the geocache at that lookout six months ago but it was missing, and it has since been replaced. Then during my return back along Mount Nebo Road, I stopped at a few creative and high favourite wingaap geocaches, which closed out my enjoyable afternoon outing.
I stopped at a suitable parking spot close to GZ, and took the short walk. The cache was somewhat in plain sight, and despite its simple construction, I actually quite enjoyed its hide. The cache container was in good shape, but the logbook is getting rather full, and has signs of mould, so perhaps one to watch. Thanks wingaap for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. If help is required to maintain, then I'm happy to help in the future, or adopt if need be!

Found it easy enough. Despite the clippy bag the logbook feels quite damp and fragile, and getting a little mouldy.
Out and about in the Mt. Nebo area today, enjoying some of the walks and a bit of caching as well. Perfect activities on a Winter's Sunday. The cache was found very quickly, signed and returned into the hiding spot. TFTC wingaap
Out to continue my trad a day and my cache a day challenges, which is now starting to become a difficult challenge due to fitting it in with my work and the lack of local caches. While I managed to get away from work early yesterday, today I have come back to finish of the ones in this area and a few more up the road. With time getting away on me I only have time left now for 3 more.
So it’s a few more wingaap caches and the surprises continued. First was the rock on agap cache, an easy find and an easy park and grab. The cache was still a surprise as I did expect a little more but it I still got smile from it. With log signed and cache replaced I was back in the car to the next one.
The next one was a little tart and there was 2 cache containers in the hide area, I understand the tart cache but wasn’t sure as to the newish cache in the hide, may require some attention. I signed a log book and returned all back as found.
The last one for today was this one Christmas memories, and this didn’t disappoint, what a funny cache. The only problem with this cache was it had a bit of water in the cache and the log was a little damp. My first pen was unable to sign so back to the car to grab an easy marking pen, all good now. Emptied water out and dried out some of the contents and log before I packed it all up and headed home.
Thanks for placing all these here; I enjoyed the walk and the time collecting the different styles of caches, a favourite point to this group.

Finally getting round to catching up on back logging.
Family day out as Team B.
Kelly and Barb had found this one at an earlier date. Time for the rest of us to get the find.

Easy find, container had water in it, I emptied it out and let contents dry for a bit, could do with a good dry out. This one was fun, swapped a dinosaur for a cat xx
Mum found this one but I got to open it. I liked the container. There was a creepy animal skull close by.
Out with team Nelta. In the area for geokid's birthday party, why not cache? Nice easy grab. Rock on! TFTC.
Stopped for this one as we made our way to Mt Nebo. Very quick grab. We loved the lid. Signed as Team Nelta. TFTC
Went for a walk to Palm Gully.
After that, we had a lovely cake at the Elm Haus then picking up a few caches on our way down the mountain.
Not stopping for every cache but just doing a few along the road, there will be many more drives up here
Thank you very much for hiding this cache

Another day out chasing caches to fill both hidden date and hidden month. I sent a message to grannysmith1947 to see she would like to find some older caches today. Vee Tree was the main one today. She bought along Millie the geodog with her. We had a good day.

Who hoo nearly blown of the ridge here today, and very wet. Find no.2 for geoson junior! TFTC, TN.
After driving through a few National Parks the last couple of weeks, I am just amazed at the amount of dedicated trails and launch points for walks. Whether you are a cacher, hiker, mountain-biker, extreme-nudist or candle-stick maker it seems there is a trail for everyone. It was great to see trails and roads that could be conquered on the drive.
There is nothing better than a short walk up one of these trails because there always appears to be a place to park the car. My wife and I started the short walk when her phone started going off. I waited for a while before she told me to go on ahead seeing it wasn't that far away.
I spotted the suspicious pile of rocks and looked through the trees to tell my wife there was no need to walk any further. I realised that would have been a waste of vocal chord vibrations because she was plugged into her screen. tftc

Caching in the suburb of Wingaap today, picking up a few smileys before my youngest Mooseling's concert. Made my way to this one after the eldest Mooseling, who was holding the GPS called, 200m, 100m, you just passed it. Hmmm, great navigating. Safely turned back and made my way to gz where the cache and name nicely married up. All good with this one. TFTC
I was meeting up with K8'n'Co this morning to do a walk along Enoggera Creek and I decided to grab a few caches along Mt Nebo Rd on the way. Parking was easy and I wandered in but my GPSr had me overshoot the mark. I soon made the find though. Thanks
19/11/17, 1:03 pm Find #1242
Well by the time we pulled up to find this one, the rain was really very heavy. We decided to sit it out in the geovehicle for a while, hoping it would die down soon. And after a short while it had settled a little so we decided to take our chance and make a break for it. It wasn't long before we came upon a suspicious spot and made our find, only a "stone's throw" from the car really
Thanks for the cache wingaap.

Out caching with 1Minniemoo on a wet Sunday. Just as we parked for this one it started pouring rain again. We waited for it to ease off again then headed up to the cache. Luckily it was a quick find.
Nice little stop to park the car and continue some bush walking with Gcoven. Crossed the road and found the cairn in an elevated position. This cache find was unexpected after deferring another cache find for a later date. With the log signed, headed out along the bush trail for some tart. Thanks for the cache wingaap.
Out for a morning of bushwalking and caching along Wingaap Drive today, on a glorious Spring day. Grabbed this one on the way back down.
A quick find was made mainly due to the suspicious looking collection here, but the container provides such good camo that when I reached to grab the lid to replace it, I honestly couldn't find it amongst its friends . After a moment of searching, it was located and returned as found.
This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #2825 for us. Thanks **wingaap** for showing us this spot. Discover our code TGQNRV, and mention where you saw it.

I like to stay home over the holidays and catch with lots of jobs, but with a souveneir on offer I knew I had to venture out and find a cache. My criteria today was quick, short walk and near to home - and this one popped up. A drive, quick walk and a scout around and the cache was soon in hand.
Thank you Mr Wingaap for another awesome cache.....and Rock On Agap!

Out on a country drive and noticed this Agap cache, so we couldn't pass by without stopping to turn it into a smile!

I had been out on the geocycle on the trails, but I had now retired to the geomobile to round up the last few caches in the area.
A very short walk to this one. A nice quick find here for my weary legs. Another fine creation.

As we would be on the right side of the road to safely park the cars, NurseyJulie and I decided that we would look for this cache. We soon reached GZ. NurseyJulie went one way and went around the other. She quickly had the cache in hand. We added our name to the log and rehid the cache before heading back to the cars and home. TFTC
Selva Girls and I were on our way home from making some more finds along this stretch of WingyWay. We were on the right side of the road and were able to pull off and park up into the little turning towards the gate safely. A short 50m walk and I could see the SPOR on the little rise. Sure enough a cache in keeping with its name! TFTC wingaap
Out and about this rainy morning, trying to fill in a few spots on my "Hidden Month" chart, and this was one I needed. Thanks for the cache and the lovely location. Cheers
Cache 3 for the day - a nice little gem is this one

For most this would be a drive by - but in true CF style, this was about 8km into a 10km walk - and involved a climb of several hundred metres from the previous find. But then I always prefer a long walk to a drive-by. I enjoyed the walk up although the aging calf muscles and achilles tendons were not so sure on one or two steeper sections. At GZ it was a quick find - I sat and signed the log while the traffic whizzed by. TFTC.

Cache #5 of 10 for Kim and Barb's Excellent Adventure Take 2.
We continued along Wingy's Way headed for Jolly's Lookout. "There's a cache coming up here" says barbb and look there's also a great parking spot. We jumped out of the car and walked to a likely looking spot. Ta da! My cache sense must be getting better, oooh very clever, I like this one Wingy. Barb and I signed the log, then it was off to find a little tart. TFTC

Mrs Esky down from Toowoomba with kestal and firebreather03 picking up some old caches. I was also attempting to make up some numbers for my next soon-to-be milestone so this is how we found ourselves here. Nice camo! Thanks wingaap.
Down from Toowoomba with firebreather03 and Mrs Esky as she chased after an important milestone. Stopped in here after finding a nearby cache. Great hide and TFTC wingaap
I really should be home tending to chores that have been ignored. The day is just too beautiful. All good with cache. Signed and returned.
Headed out for an afternoon of caching with the geo daughter. Always love caching in this part of town.

We decided it be would be nice to do a run from The Gap, over Mt. Glorious, to Lake Wivenhoe today.
Every now & then you just have to escape suburbia.
One of our quickest finds today.
Signed & replaced.

Clever hide and I'm also over the moon to not fall down a hill or walk into a spiders web haha
What a perfect weekend! Two days out in the bush together with my girlfriend, our mountain bikes, our tent and some really nice Steaks. Besides camping in the bush we found in total 34 caches Thank you very much wingaap for showing us this area. Just because of you and your famous caches we visited this area, so thanks a lot.
Last round Mount Nebo with some caches on our device. Nice one. Greatings from a Dutch team
