Sadly, I can no longer maintain this cache. A check as we passed through a couple of weeks ago confirmed it is no longer in place. Thanks for all the cache finds and the faves for this special spot highlighting the 'Monster'
A couple of dnf's, the last from a very experienced cacher, tells me this one is missing. Will get back in the next couple of weeks
Last night, some caches got published however I was too tired to drive about 100km to find them[|)][xx(][|)]
So I tried unsuccessfully to sleep[|)] and then woke up at 6am[?]
Might as well go find them now I'm awake[^]
I decided that Rex and I would make it a caching day out[^] while we were in that area[^] as there was a park that I'd not managed to get into before with 4 caches in it at Terrick Terrick[^] (Little did I know how exhausting[|)][xx(] that area would be: scrambling over huge granite boulders[|)][xx(][|)]) There was also Lockington[^] which I'd not been too before either and 3 caches there as well as[^] Finally there was 'Bill' which has teased me as I go to and from Bendigo and has always been on the wrong side of the water
On the way we had thick fog almost to Echuca. After Echuca there were 2 moments when tiny little hail the size of a pin head fell onto the windscreen: so cute![:X][^]
The first 5 caches that we found were owned by gregandjudi and one of the COs just had to follow me from cache to cache I think he was waiting for me to swear but my name is not micaparamedic Since these were 'easy' cache finds though, I just laughed and kept going[^]
Anyone finding these caches will have fun[^], I promise![^]
Rex had his own awesome time chasing rabbits while I enjoyed a lovely cup of tea with the COs and a great chat[^]
We found 12 caches (two of which Rex really did help me find) and 3 of them were FTFs We had 2 DNFs: both in Lockington All in all, a fantastic day out![^]
DNF! Pulled up and the people over the road were yelling for their dog, yelling at each other and speeding around the streets in their cars squealing their tyres and showering gravel: apparently that is called looking for a lost dog![?][?] Turned out the dog had been locked in a car in the backyard Oops!!
I had a pretty good look throughout this chaos but will conceed that it wasn't a thorough look
Although after reciving a PAF back on my way home, it seems I may have actually looked in the correct place and not seen a cache there So it may possibly be missing Hopefully someone will find it and then i'll try and return!

Having revisited the murals at Tongala to see the latest additions we travelled on here to make a start on our Natural Wonders of the World as this one earned me the Paricutan Volcano.
Had fun playing with the Locky Ness Monster before locating the cache.
Thanks for the fun and the cache Bogonghazy

Rolling through town today and had a spare 5mins. Geosense kicked in, a quick search and cache was in hand. Signed logbook (almost full) and returned. Even had enough time to glance at my childhood house a stone throw away. Ah the memories. Thanks for this cache
I had to have two attempts at this one as there was someone resting nearby on my first pass. Saw something not quite right and soon made the find. Some beautiful water lillies nearby TFTC bogonghazy
Haha !! Love the monster.
Love how caching helps you to discover lots of interesting things about the places around us. Didn’t find it, but us Qld’ers weren’t prepared for the cold weather down here, so we did abandon the search pretty quickly

You just never know what you are going to find in the country. Very cool. Way too cold for us QLDers to stay outside to find this one.
Ok. So after taking refuge in the pub, warming up & reading some of the logs, we swung past on the way back to Echuca & were able to quickly turn this frown upside down. TFTC ️
Went back to the pub because it was too cold Thought about it then decided to drive by for another try. Got it this time.
Found the day after Pi Day.
Of course, it was only "Pi" day in America where they are all confused about how to write the date, but its "Pie Year" for me as I endeavor to fill the segments in my newly discovered "360 from home" Pie Chart.
(It's a ProjectGC and BadgeGen challenge thing.)
Anyway, it meant I wanted a cache on this bearing from my place but now I don't no more cos I got one.
This one. Oh and the other one in town. I got it too cos I couldn't grab just one.
Cache and contents found, signed and returned in good condition although the logbook is running out of space. [8)]

If that's the size of the bait....

On our way home from Echuca after spending a few days there we did a detour to add some smileys to the map. Muggle hubby found it, spotted something not quite right Lovely little spot here.Tftc
TFTC BREKER enjoyed 2 nights stay. Love the way the locals have done up the channel with lochness, rotunda, boardwalk and surroundings. Friendly locals. Sorry I forgot to leave the key Dot. Posted it back today.
TFTC FOUND WITH ANNE THERESE on 03/08/2019. The Locky Monster was willing to show its style.
Took a while to find this one but Mr Bambi found this while kids were playing with the Yabbie. TFTC
Found on a Clarmensma Family trip to Cobram/Barooga for the holidays. Sorry for the super late logging! TFTC
The kids had great fun here!
Our regular school holiday Team Clarmensma overnight trip is upon us again, this time heading north to Cobram, Barooga area. With both days over 40, we broke up our caching with lots of swimming, frozen cokes and icy poles.
A really fun day had tripping around. TFTC

Such a cool place to stop with kids (everyone had a go). Loved this little town. Would never travel through it if I didn’t cache.
School holidays meant it was time for Team Clarmensma to reform. This consisted of myself; becca85 and our 4 geokids (AdamSistema, LukeSistema, neisha07, boo09). This time we hit the Murray and cached our way from Ballarat/Maryborough to Cobram/Barooga (where we stayed the night) and then back through Tocumwal, Numurkah, Shepparton and Bendigo. We had a fabulous couple of days in VERY hot weather so stopped for lots of swims and water fun. Many thanks for the cache. Very much appreciate you placing for us to find.

Being school holidays we decided to do a road trip with the Clough Family, we dont get to catch up as often as we'd like so took the opportunity. So we brought the 5 geokids Nanna along and caught up with Nanna M. First time we visited Lockington, lovely little town. TFTC and our little adventure today
Hi there bogonghazy.
We found your cache **"Locky Ness Monster Mk II"** today. (This makes our find count 19317).
Just a random sort of caching day today. Not many caches, but lots of driving. We planned to do more, but some icy rain stopped our fun.
We found 6 caches today (DNF'd 1) & thoroughly enjoyed our cache raid. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
***Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book is in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Love it! Young man fishing told me to press the green button!! So i did, was fun. Of course you get a fave for the cache also!!
Quick easy find. Geohubby & geokids tried to pull the Lock Ness Monster up! Lovely lily pads & tiny fish swimming about.

Found It!.......... Twice. Found the replacement mint tin and the 'other' original? one aswell. It looks like there was paper attached as a log but is missing now, but some kind soul has painted 'White-out' on it's backing so it is again signable, so I SL of both.
Both were quick finds and were re-hidden exactly where found.
CO may wanna just check to be sure as usually there shouldn't be two hides in the same spot. [The one that isn't the mint tin is way better in my opinion ]
The Locky Ness Monster must have regurgitated the original cache lol

Staying at the free camp and off for a walk after dinner. What a great way to finish of the day - finding the Locky Ness monster - and, I think, the original cache. Found the replacement cache after some poking around and easily signed.
Find # 4446 @ 1700 H
Found with Tyred n Cranky.
Heading home from Echuca we decided to take a short detour home
Before we managed to find the cache I pulled on the cable and woke up Locky Ness. I had to have a chuckle and I must say it is quite a creature.
Back to the cache and we managed to find it after some hunting around.

Find No. 1897. Found with FUF009 at 5.00pm.
Heading home from Echuca, after attending the '3 Months to the event in Alexandra - Echuca' event and of course doing some caching in the town, it decided to take a short detour home. (Wonder why?)
While looking for the cache FUF009 decided to take time out and pull on the cable to see what happens. Wow a town that has its own Locky Ness Monster. After letting it go back to sleep, the search was on again. Mr Tyred n Cranky found this one but unfortunately it had no log attached so we were unable to sign our names.
CO needs to give this one some TLC.

Our unloved cache hunt has taken us here - three in one town of 370 people although the footy match may rule one out - clever hide needs a new log though found a small space tftc
Great hide log full but we managed between two others great spot that's for bringing us here.
Flat out finding that one. TFTC. Tor and Betsy, the travelling Westies roaming WA at present. We are from Oxenford near the Gold Coast in Queensland and thoroughly enjoying the West.
Found with my 2 children while I searched and they played. It took me 30 minutes, but I got there in the end. Certainly not what I was expecting, but loved it! It was a great place to search on a hot day with the rotunda providing welcome shade and protection from the sun. Thanks for taking us to the Locky Ness Monster today and thanks for this cache which gets a favourite point from me!
In Echuca for a couple day R&R and of course to obtain some smileys. A big day of caching today had me on the surrounds of Echuca. A great little area and loved the story of nessie. Thankfully no monster to be sighted today. A new log book placed for the CO. Thanks for the cache bogonghazy

Out and about for the first time in a while with my caching mate SedgwickDave. We had 2 main aims today, to find the Centroid Challenge cache as well as the cache that qualifies us and secondly attend the 2 Months to MEGA event in Bendigo which by chance was close to both of our centroids. It was promising to be a Beautiful day, so we left nice and early to fit in as much as we could in the day.
This one was a lot bigger than expected, didnt take us too long.
Log is VERY full and needs replacing.

While on the drive to the Bendigo event today a detour was taken to complete a challenge cache as well as this one and a hand full of others as there was time to cache before the event started. On the run today with me was ahomburg who spotted this one for its high D rating of 5. So always up for a challenge we gunned it to GZ. It took a couple of mintues to locate the cache and noticed that the log book is quite full. We refresh the cache data found to find that the D rating had been reduced; te data was quite old in the phone... Regardless we were both pleased to have made the detour to visit this unique location and attraction. A fun hunt.

We are so pleased we stopped for this one on our way to tackle the [Red]T[/Red]errick [Red]T[/Red]errick [Red]T[/Red]rail.
Not sure which was the most fun here - finding the cache or playing with Nessie! What a blast a definite favourite!
Feedback to CO: A completely full log tells us how popular this one is, a fresh log would be appreciated by seekers.
Our thanks to bogonghazy for bringing us here.

It was road trip time and three days traveling and caching was quickly planned. An early morning start and the first location was Mt Buller. From Mt Buller I headed to Bookham in NSW and stayed there the night before hitting the Endangered Species series of caches, starting early the next morning. Heading South West I stopped at Gundagai to visit a 'dog', continued through Walla Walla and Urana before crashing just out of Berrigan. The third day I continued west to Echuca then south through Bendigo and the final stretch for home.
The weather was good on day one but later that night it started to rain and continued for the next two days. Needless to say I did get quite wet on occasions, and some of the country roads I followed where no place for a 2WD, the Prado would slip and slide but luckily kept moving forward. By then end of the trip there was another 1800 km on the clock, 239 cache finds, 2 DNFs and 5 FTF's just to top it off. Thanks to all the CO's for the caches I found and the places they brought me to.
As I pulled up I could see a could of people wandering around the structure at GZ. I watched for a minute and they seemed to be searching for something. I approached and said 'found it yet ?'. They had stopped in town with their caravan as they made their way touring around the country. I joined in the hunt and as we searched we had a good old chat about traveling, the places we had been and of course caching. We searched high and low, read and re-read past logs in the hope that there may be a clue for the hide. After about twenty minutes of searching something just caught my eye and well what do you know - the cache - one of those hides. Great cammo and great hide and great place to hide a cache. With the log signed and the cache put back into position we chatted for quite a while longer until it was time for me to move on.
Thanks bogonghazy, a fav for me.

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.
Currently camped at Aysons Reserve we headed into Elmore then decided to do a lengthy loop back to camp.
Today was day 338 of our Geostreak.
Geez we had a cache just like this one at home that was our nemesis for months.Seems the camo works so well that different light can be the most problems with finding the cache. Found the cache then played with Nessie.

Diverted off the Highway to grab a few caches out on these back roads today. Glad I did, as this was a sight worth seeing. The cache was spotted quickly enough, muggle free today, so I was able to sign and return without eyes upon me. Adding a fave for the location you've bought me too, and for the cache. Thanks to Bogonghazy. And I love you. x

A very clever hide. Fortunately we found one just like this yesterday which helped. TFTC
Out staying with friends in Locky for a few days and back in 2000 we watched the launch of the Locky ness monster and fire works, just had to go back and grab this sucker.
Up from Melbourne to watch some country football/netball. After reading about this cache I only hoped we could find it in good time so not too miss the game we came to see. Read some logs and hints and just kept thinking tricky and clever. The co ordinates were spot on and before long found the cache. Great hide. This is now given me the motivation to get back to Eaglehawk and find the cache Romax has on a similar setting. TFTC
Had to get this one too once I realised that it was a BM cacher that had placed it. You know where I looked first. Searched and tapped everything before reading the clue. Then Tag-along had it in his hand immediately. I asked what gave it away and he said..........
Such a sneaky but clever hide and I can see why it is a five. It could be muggle central here. Not today though. I was grateful for the shelter and would have loved to stop for lunch in this lovely old town but it was I the fridge back at our motel. Oooops!
'Locky Ness, is living up to your usual standard of hides and deserves a fav. because I kept thinking about how well it blended in for the next few hours.

This had us going for a while but eventually a very small detail gave it away. This is a very cool place and the cache is very well done. Thanks bogonghazy and will give a favourite point.
That was a tricky one. If I hadn't been resting after a day at the Echuca steam rally I probably wouldn't have hung around long enough to finally figure it out. It's a nice place to sit down for a while too. TFTC.
Finally got back down here to get this one. Good place here out of the rain which made it easy to get. Found quickly, logged and replaced. TFTC Well done bogonghazy.
Loved both the monster and the not so monstrous cache. Very clever, must gain a fav point TFTC bogonghazy

I was impressed by the cache and the spot. The cache happily was a quick find for me, with a stoke of luck. This then gave me time to check out the monster - great fun!
All in all a good cache, thanks bogonghazy.

tried to find it with mum unsuccessfully, returned with dad and found in less then 10 minutes. Mum still doesn't know where it is.
Alas I have to log a DNF on my birthday. We searched but no luck today. Loved the Lochy ness monster so much that we went back to our campsite and told everyone camping with us that they had to come and see it. We also tried to enlist their help finding the cache but still no luck. We leave Lockington tomorrow so we might try one last look. Thanks to geocaching at least I saw the monster.
After much searching 4y/o Geo-son announced he needed to go to the toilet. Caching with him in that mood is hard enough, so off we went and soon returned. This time it was a quick find in the first spot we looked.
Just a side note. Once finding it and signing the log I replaced the cache. Whilst sitting down and logging on-line, the local constable pulled up. He wondered over to geo-son and I and asked what we were doing. I told him we were geo-caching and asked if he had heard of it. Turns out he had but was unaware of any being in Lockington. Geo-son was more than happy to show the policeman where the cache was. Just so that if future seekers have a policeman turn up on them, he is aware of the presence of this cache. I also told him of the nearby cache too.

micheena - had us looking for awhile, but hubby soon came up with the goods. Enjoyed the monster too.
What a great spot to bring us to. We loved the monster, and it took some locating this cache, even though it was right in front of us. Worthy of a fav from us
Out with the Earthbounds having spent the morning at Steamfest. A break from the steaming fun to pop out and pick up some local caches. We had lots of fun at this cache today pulling the "monster" out of the water. It took a while to actually locate the cache but I think we were distracted by the muggle sitting on her porch watching us, the other muggle who insisted on walking past us and most of all by the monster. TFTC and for the fun.
Having spent the morning at Steamfest we escaped with Mrs Walenator to go do some caching around the local area. Aha, suddenly the name made sense! Interesting structure. Lady across the road enjoying the afternoon sun on her front verandah must have thought we'd lost our minds! TFTC Had to make the 9yo exit the car to come & say hello to the monster...which he enjoyed sans iPad!
Stopped of at lockington many times as children on way to Murray river camping but never knew about this monster that lurked nearby! Loved seeing the monster with my little sister and then started looking for the cache! Tried a few ideas until I finally had my hands on the cache and a grin on my chin
Loved the monster, very clever, looked for quite awhile making suggestions to each other on where the cache was keeping an eye on the nearby muggles when Tamzy spotted something, yes can't believe our luck TFTC
