It's a shame this great cache got archived just because a newbie couldn't find it......
Yep maybe a bit premature, especially as it seems like it was there after all. Maybe reviewer could have posted a 'please check' post especially as CO is no longer caching....or maybe some local who has found it in the past could have checked? (including me!)
I noticed this cache was no longer on the map so I decided to replace it with a new one.
On arrival today I found the replaced cache dated early 2018, right where I’d found it way back when.
No new names in it but looks as though there was only 1 who attempted it then put a NM on it.
It’s a shame it got archived because of this.

Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.
Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).
If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Hey Coruze, we are at Karrs mine cache again and happen to run into Greg from the mine tours. He let us know it’s been missing for approx 12 months. Any chance of replacing it? Thanks Rachel (rddesignsplus) thank you
Poked and looked everywhere we could think of with no avail will try again in a few week with some reinforcement
We found the cache positioned when we felt around a bit. Thanks Coruze, interesting spot. There looked to be a tour being conducted nearby. Found with beckNmonts and The Tritonz.
I don’t really know what to say about the caches we did in this area today, except the four wheel driving was great fun, the trip was fraught with disaster (cache notes may have comments such as “**** hit the fan” multiple times) the caches were all in excellent spots AND we came out alive and well, which is the most important part, given our cache notes! Thank you for placing the cache and giving us a reason to go out four wheel driving today Coruze
Out grabbing some caches while doing the 4x4 wherigo, with some geo family and friends. This was a great spot to stop and explore, while find this sneaky hide, not quite what we were looking for.
Thanks Coruze for placing the cache for us to find.

In the area and off the beaten track grabbing a few caches while tackling the 4wd wherigo and managed to make a quick find. As they say many hands make light work, the cache was soon in hand after a little poking and prodding about. Thanks Coruze for the sneaky hide and for showing us a little of the past of this area.

*Found after attending the CITO whilst House Sitting In Mansfield and attempting the 4x4 Whereigo*...

Made the find after checking out the nearby mine and grabbing a clue. Found with Happy Feet, Happy Pants, Omegaman and t88232 . What a beautiful part of Australia. We really are so fortunate. Awarding this one a fave for highlighting this fantastic area / feature and for getting us together as a family and ensuring a fantastic day out for all. An amazing day with much fun and laughter and some terrible jokes and puns throughout.
**Cache has been changed from a micro to a small as part of the cache has been broken. A previous finder has obviously placed it in another container.**
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Coruze. Appreciate your effort.

Cache-On!
While doing a whereigo with happy feet, snap happy, happy pants and omegaman, we decided to pick up some traditional caches. This one was tricky to find, partly because the cache size on the page was misleading and partly because it was well hidden
Found on a very wet Wednesday afternoon. We found the logbook without a container so we left it in a snap lock container we had in the car so it stays dry. May need some maintenance but TFTC
Spent a long time after a long bike ride to find it to no avail, feeling under and in the various mining relics despite the cobwebs and critters!
Defeated today. We had great fun getting to this spot though, which we hadn't been to before. The 7yr old loved finding the gold mine. She had grand plans for getting rich
It's not often these days I get a leave pass for not one night, but two, so I leapt at the chance to come caching up the North East, where my last occasion was 2 years ago. Joined with my caching buddy Pacman, who's happy like me to go caching day and night. We had our eyes on some adventure, scenery, scenic views and of course some rare DT! We had a successful weekend managing to squeeze in quiet a bit over our time here, and despite torrential rain Friday, has great weather Friday and Saturday. A massive massive thanks to each and every CO who placed caches for us to find, you provided much entertainment and showed us the sights of your beautiful countryside.
After slipping and sliding around through the forrest trying to find a path to Nutty November caches, we stopped by this gem of a spot. Great location! Cache found after a bit of a search

This turned out to be quite an adventurous caching roadtrip to the Albury/Wodonga region with Jacko83. Targetting some of the higher DT caches meant we spend a few days hiking, climbing and 4WDing in wonderful places - exactly the type of caching we enjoy the most !
An interesting spot here that does not seem to get visited very often. Fortunately we found the cache relatively quickly.
Thanks, Coruze.

Out and about in the lovely Yackandandah area doing a local 4x4 wherigo and taking the opportunity to pick up some trads at the same time.
Thanks Coruze for the hunt, it took awhile.

We were visiting the area today to plan for my muggle sister's wedding, and decided to have some 4WD fun to kill some time. When we stopped at GZ with the muggle family, Mez and I immediately thought 'this would be a great place for a cache.' Lo and behold, once we finally got reception, the app led us to a long search and a lucky find by Mez. Thanks for the fun morning, and for giving us the chance to introduce our family to geocaching!
Have been here a few times and marvelled at the old machinery around here.
Well this cache had me putting my hands in every knook & cranny possible, even climbing in through a hokey section of it right up to my hips!
Luckily we are in the middle of the forest because it would of been a funny sight to see for anyone going past.
Just as hubby said "Ok come on we're not going to find it today" I answered with "Nah it's gotta be here, it's here, right here". Bugger me I finally had my fingertips on it!
With a big smile on my face I happily signed the log and tucked that sneaky little sucker right back exactly where I found it.
What a great hide!
Thankyou Coruze for the fun, the head scratching,, the frustration and then the joy and jumping when it was finally found.

[:(!] Went for a caching run for a couple of hours after lunch and this was on of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was located and it was quickly in hand.

We have been here before, and been unsuccessful in our search so when we pulled up with a bunch of other cachers out four wheel driving i was excited at the prospect of finally logging a find. With so many hands on deck i decided to stand back and let the others do the prodding this time. After some time searching the container was finally found and the log signed.

Find #4178
A beautiful day today, it was part of the 4x4 adventure day. We were a convoy of five 4WD vehicles. We managed to convince our driver Jason to stop at several spots to pick up a couple of solved puzzles as well as some Traditionals.
All five vehicles gathered here, some had already found this one, they sat back watching the rest of us try and locate this tiny little cache.
Thanks to Coruze for placing this cache.

Even with the best and brightest that caching has to offer this one still took a bit of finding. It was good to finally lay our hands on it and sign the log. Thanks Coruze for a funky little hide.
Well we poked and prodded, we reached, clawed, peeked, peered and felt our way all over this structure. I was oh so close to where the thing was finally found, but just didn't put my fingers on it. Happily signed the log anyway and moved on. Thanks Coruze!

This one was found while we were on the 4WD Wherigo. The structure was surrounded by cachers experienced and fairly new, poking and prodding, until it was finally found. A great hide, and lots of fun to do as a group. Amazing that this structure is still out here. Thanks again, Coruze.
This is a cache that's been on our to do list for ever so while out 4x4ing we had a chance to add a smiley. TFTC
Firstly, apologies for the late logging. This cache was found in the company of the convoy to do the first 4x4 wherigo in Oz. A quick find at the lunch spot, and thanks to my chauffeur for the day Lexxie/Skullracing. Thanks for another highlighted spot in this great area Corrinne

1230 GAFF4 While out as a group on the new Wherigo cache we stopped at a couple of the caches.
I had what I thought was a reasonable look, but should have been more tactile
Cache dry and intact, tho the plastic 'bag' could do with a replacement.
Some of us had some lunch here while others checked out the mine (from the outside of the gate) and other items left behind from the mining days.

I don't know if there is an alternate way into the Karr's Reef cache, as I came with the 4wd Wherigo group, but I can't imagine getting my Nissan Dualis in here, tho I have taken it on some pretty wild places.
So I am wondering about the T1½ rating ?!? I didn't see anything in the description for a BEST route suitable to low slung-2wd cars. Please consider.

Found as part of a group assault on the Where-I-go while attending the Camp and Cache event. I made the drive out here on the way home from Beechworth tonight. Hadn't driven these backroads before so I took my chances and still made it here. I reached GZ and stuck my head in... Couldn't see anything straight away so I started to search around the outside of the structure. 5 minutes later I ended up at the start again, this time facing my fear and reaching into the unknown. Thank you caching gods for leading my hand straight to it! So glad I didn't encounter and creepy crawlies! SL and took some pics. TFTC

Found on a walk with my sister in law, over here from NZ. Interesting spot, loved the bits of machinery lying about. The GPS jumped all over the place, but finally settled close to GZ, and a bit of exploration had it in hand. TFTC Coruze!
Seeing I'll be working next weekend, and will miss both events, we thought we'll check out a few new caches that are in the area. A very lazy days' caching with Bettyboo.
An interesting spot. Don't usually have machinery left behind at mines (so the cache had to be there!)
Very tempted to check out the tour as well.
Thanks for the interesting history, and great spot.

Sneaky hide.
Found while joining in on an annual Scout Bakery to Bakery Hike from Yackandandah to Beechworth with some Scouts from Baranduda and Beechworth.
This was the first of a few caches I hoped to find with the Scouts over the two day hike.
The Scouts helped search around while stopped for a rest at this great location, without any luck and then it was time to get going again so I had resolved that I would be logging a DFN. I stayed back for one last quick search while the Scouts continued on and just as the group disappeared from sight I made the find.
I was happy to eventually make the find and was able to catch up with the rest of the hike group before the next rest stop.

Whoo hoo we found it this time!!! Once again our GPS'rs took us on the scenic route to this one - don't understand why, as we always find the easy way out. #1064 Talk about grief at Karr's Reef! Plenty of looking, feeling and finally locating this sneaky and quite frustrating micro. Mr harrowang did a happy dance to celebrate. SL at 2.20pm We have to add a photo to show the lengths we went to in our search. TFTC Coruze (we think!)
# 404. It has only been found twice in 12 months (to the day)!!! Until NOW. Although I had PAF re this one the information was false...... We searched and searched and searched. Finally, Mr Harrowang had the sneaky thing and we were all happy. Signed log and replaced. And so endeth my caching day in the back of the GeoHilux with Mr Harrowang doing a happy bee dance in the front on the way back to Yack. TFTC
Our only DNF on our 4WDing caching day with BettyBoo3747. We were not troubled by muggles touring the mine - but with no phone reception we could not even phone a friend for a clue for this one. Three pairs of eyes looked for over an hour in the midday sun (38 degrees) and we all came up with nix, zilch, zero, nought, nothing. We can say that we now know each piece of equipment intimately, but of the cache we know nothing! Let it be known that we definitely took the scenic route to this one, great 4WD skills executed by Mr harrowang and some new pinstriping on the geoHilux we suspect. Although we did not find the cache we all thoroughly enjoyed the adventure, so thanks for that Coruze. Looks like we have to visit again to put a smiley face on this one.
As below - as I was with Harrowang. Very frustrating after looking "everywhere". GPSs certainly fluctuated wildly also. Will come back another time.

Well the 4wd trip with my brother in law continued to Karrs Reef. Could not find this little sucker though. I will be making a return journey to see if I can find it, but all the tourists were looking at us a bit wierd and then the tour guide decided to show them around the old machinery lying in the grass. This has been a thorn in my side since our first visit and DNF. I am convinced though that without Suz this would have been a DNF today! Just thrilled to see the cache and learn a new technique
Thanks so much again for this cache and for all your help!

TFTC, quite a lot of searching finally found with the Riverina Geocaching crew
Found with the Riverina Geocaching Group on our Camp and Cache event weekend. This was our last stop on our convoy run around town before returning to camp for the start of the event. We all searched high and low for a fair while, when finally Mr gopher had a proper look where had all looked before.

Found in the company of Roostaman, Baby and Mrs Gopher and Hinklenator while attending the Yackandandah Camp and Cache. There was a sense of deja vu as we pulled up at GZ as we had done the tour through the nearby mine many years ago. There was a lot of searching carried before Baby found this elusive micro. Thanks Coruze.
Third find for the afternoon, with 2 d.n.f's.
Have been here twice before just to look for the cache,, but no good..
Started looking again this time and had it within a minute!,, im certain i had looked there before.......
Too late to do much else today so i took pleasure in driving my fwd over the old mining pieces on the ground to see what i could climb....
(before you get worried it was my remote control 4wd,,, lol)
Found at 1628hrs,
Cheers coruze!

Another brilliant cache by Coruze. We had been over this cache two times previously and came up empty but again with some inside intel we managed to locate the evading container.
We are so glad to get this one off the list lol
thanks again

Well, after a very interesting drive up a gravel road (didnt think the mazda 6 was going to make it at a couple of stages) we found this fascinating spot. Well worth the visit. Muggles finishing a tour when we got here, so had to wait for them to leave before we could mount our search - despite a torch and our very best efforts though, we failed to find this one. Very frustrated but so happy that we discovered this spot. Thanks so much for bringing us here!
Another very impressed to see old mines etc.... Thanks for showed me around this area. Love bushland so much... SL. Thanks Coruze.
I caught up with the tourists I saw at Pig Play here and as they went off to explore the mine opening I located the cache (all under the guise of photographing the machinery). There were many places it could be and I'm glad I got it in the third spot I checked. I didn't go and inspect the mine and will have to do that next time I'm in the area.
Thanks again,

Fascinating to see the mine and the old mining relics. However, even with the aid of a torch we could not locate the cache. Our problems with local micros continue.
The first for the day. Had been here many times before so knew what it would be located on. Still, it took a bit to find and only having remembered other logs as to find its whereabouts.
Didn't hang around for the mine tour, but was surprised to find a security camera in the entrance way of the mine !!
SL @ 1310. Cheers

Reperio at 1020. Had driven down from the ACT this morning to continue cleaning my house before the new occupants move in, and with a flurry of caches popping up over the last few weeks, it was time to come out a find a few. Wasn't sure how close I would get the 2WD to the cache, but ended up parking 1.6kms away, so decided that I've come this far I might as well go for a run. Got to within 700m of the cache, and ran into haveanez who was just returning from making the find, so I was surprised that someone hadn't found it earlier than that.
Once at GZ, it was interesting to find these pieces of forgotten history just lying out here. Got to searching, and this one ended up taking quite some time to locate. It's a shame it's just a micro all the way out here. Once I had replaced it, I ended up taking the long way back and walked/ran approximately 7kms in total. There are some wonderful tracks through here and thoroughly enjoyed the walk.
Gratias Coruze for highlighting this location.

Our second FTF!!
Got up at 8am, and seen 4 emails awaiting on the iPhone! 3 new listings! To go or not to go.......GO!!
Got Little treasure in the car, GeoBaby fed and in the car....and off we went in the hope no-one was up earlier...or crazier to go during the night!!!!
Arrived at GZ at 9am....no-one about...but still that anxious feeling if we were FTF.....
We put our hands in spots we weren't real keen on, searched high, searched low...and went over the spot twice till 'Clueless' (who once again IS NOT) got her hand to it first!!! Wooohooo Hi Fives all round! Nice spot!
Great Hide Coruze!! A great area we will sure be back to in the near future!
Keep up the hides - we look forward to more!
SL TOOK: FTF Pathtag! Thank-you!

#311 Found at 2.40pm. Dad and the Queen were discussing, after our recently placed cache, that this place also deserved something....pipped at the post again (are you sure that you don't have ESP??). On the way into this location we were discussing the state of the track but then decided that they probably utilise a 4WD to ferry the tourists in. And wha-do-ya-know, about 200m from GZ we came up behind the said tourist 4WD going about 10klm's an hour. We had to assure the tourer leader that we were there to have a look around, not to jump on his tour. Again the Garmin was playing funny buggars and we would get a fix then it would take us elsewhere so we had an ever broadening search area. We nearly admitted defeat as we were on a schedule to get back to Albury to collect GeoPrincess when Dad came up with the cleverly hidden cache (the Queen and Dad had both checked there previously ).
