Travelling Australia in our caravan since February 2014.With magnificent weather forecast we were up making lunch, loading the bikes onto the geocruiser fairly early (for us).We saw a large snake on the mid north channel trail, many kangaroos and bobtails whilst out and about.Crops looking great in this region. We are waiting for harvest to start on York Peninsula, gonna be a while yet. TFTC Dazzatron

Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. Based in Peterborough, we are exploring some of the surrounding areas. While the boys were peddling along the Mid North Channel, we girls were picking up a few caches of our own TFTC Dazzatron.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. The Geo-men decided on a biking day so they were dropped off while Mrs ILT and I cached around the area. Co-ords out - should be 606 & 210. Thanks Dazzatron
Having read some previous logs, it made the find a lot easier. 13 metres east of GZ tftc

A return visit to Clare was planned for the long weekend with the JAMS crew plus tallbikestan to find a lot of the caches that we didn't get to on our last visit along with the Rattler, Riesling and NE trails as well as the Mid North Channel Country trail. [^]
We had three very full days with perfect weather for caching, lots of bike riding, lots of walking and lots of driving along dirt tracks. We were lucky it had not recently been wet as some of the roads we drove on would not have been passable if wet. Loved the scenery at this time of year with everything looking very green as well as the bright yellow of the canola crops.
A fun weekend of caching, lots of caches found and lots of cool places visited.
Thanks for the cache Dazzatron.

A big long weekend with the JAMS Crew (JJ52, allister w(me), mogni, Sir Spectre and tallbikestan). We road from Riverton to Stanley Flat on day 1. Then more riding near Spalding on day 2. Then finished the weekend with finding caches around the area in the car. TFTC
The JAMS team ( JJ52,Allister w, Mogni, and sir_spectre minus mitchell&hound ) but Tallbikestan was with us instead and we where out for there usually monthly caching adventure. This time it was over the october long weekend instead of the usual day trip. The taget this time was Drop into the Light a long ladder cache on the way to clare and then to clear the Rattler trail, Riesling Trail, Ne Trail saturday on the bikes and then sunday do the Mid North Channel Country bike trail. Monday on the return home was to get Peter's view a 2001 cache. Of course there was many, many other's found on route to the various target for the weekend, somewhere around 260 found by the team. It could have been more but we were not going at a flat out pace, just steady and getting a blow out on the bike 1.6 km's from the end of the Mid North Channel Country bike trail didn't help. I didn't see any snakes this trip but allister did, he saw 5. The caches this trip where written in as JAMS, i forgot the stamps. Also 1 cache was placed by the JAMS team this trip. Out of all the bike tracks i preferred the Rattler /Riesling trail. I like riding through the very rich ( after all the recent rains ) fields of yellow flowers.
Had trouble finding it until I read a log that gave me a hint as wear it was. TFTC
Decided to look for some easily found cachers today after seeing North Clare B grade win over MinMan in first semi final played at Spalding.
Very nice day up to 21°C and some wind.
Found and signed nine logs this afternoon around Spalding area and added some bouncy bowls or dices to some of the finds.

What a fantastic place to stop and check out the old and new, we can see this area being very popular in the summer under the trees. The cache is in good condition. SL TFTC
Came down to Clare for the JWLE not to play the game but to play the geocaching game. Didn’t have much of a plan so when Courtney Rose and Gridge98 asked me if I wanted to tag along with them to cache around Spalding I said a big YES.
We found some great caches and did a fair bit of walking. Then back to Clare for the juggling flash mob very Carnivale.
After the flash mob I headed out on my own to pick up some caches south of Clare and to do the Carendo adventure lab. On the way stopped for a cleansing ale at Pikes with CoCo Pops.
Arrived back to Clare after dark had my only dnf of the day and then on to collect my curry and back to my super deluxe accommodation for a well earned rest.
Big thanks to all the CO and of course the JLWE Committee for a fun day.

wow GZ was way off and the hint was no help at all but this is finally off the radar now
this took some finding as the co-ords were way out and the clue had us looking in the wrong spots to begin with, eventually we widened the search and found the cache

Tftc! This one took a while to locate however after reading activity log we were able to locate with ease. A change in hint description would be beneficial here
This weekend, jesswrigley and I headed to Melrose for mountain biking the trails with a few non-geocaching friends. We ended up hiking up to Mount Remarkable on Sunday, and on Monday, we returned to home via Booleroo Centre, Jamestown, and Clare. The weekend had some rain drizzle and crisp mornings, but otherwise good weather for fitness.
Today, we had a morning Melrose mountain biking session, before starting to drive back to Adelaide. We had some time to fill, so ended up taking the long route via Booleroo Centre, Hornsdale, and Jamestown, to then arrive at Clare for an afternoon tea/coffee event. It was then an expedited drive via Gawler.
As others had mentioned, there is now a new fence here, and so after a brief look, I deduced that it was missing and was removed along with the old fence. However after finding the nearby geocache and returned back to this location, I decided to expand my search, and eureka, I found the cache about 10 m away in a stump. Hence, my GPS had GZ at S 33° 30.607' E 138° 36.206'. I guess it is no longer at the corner post, so the hint should probably be updated. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Dazzatron for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

On our way from Sydney to Adelaide and beyond we had a lot of grandfather caches on our list, which where needed to fill our matrix. Today we are on the way to one of those in Bundaleer forest. Here at the bridge we took a break and found the cache. Thanks for bringing us here and many greetings from Germany.
Since over four week we are now on our tour with a campervan through southeast of Australia. Today minebine and me drived north heading for an old cache in Bundaleer. On our way we made a stop at the olsd and new bridge. It was an easy find.

This was predicted to be another hot day, so we headed out of Peterborough and set our sights on the Clare Valley area, as did ilook4geo. Some caches were picked out for the hunt list and represented the towns and districts that we travelled through. It was a mix of types today, with traditionals, a multi and a virtual.
Each cache had its log signed with two more names and photos were taken for the virtual.
Thank to Dazzatron for this cache, which did have us stumped for a short time.

We decided to look for some easily found cachers today as it was going to be quite hot. Each cache log was signed and was put back as it had been found. Thanks to each CO.
As our holiday is almost finished now, we are just tiki-touring around the local countryside picking up as many caches as we can. Hot weather is forecast so travelling in the air conditioned car is the preferable way to get around today.
A quick ice-cream in town before coming out to this one. The ice-creams were melting in the freezer it is so hot. Cache found quickly. tftc

G ot away for a night so we could do a hike that happened to be in the same park that Jay Wetherall was being carried out of on a stretcher. We saw all the emergency vehicles and had no idea what was going on. Anyway the hike was good, only damage was I dropped the iPad and busted the screen. Found lots of eclipse tins and one medium size cache. We had fun exploring our old stomping ground.
First larger than eclipse container for the trip.

Hi there Dazzatron.
We found your cache **"Old & New"** at 12:55:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 16102).
Our trek today took us from Gladstone to Spalding and back via the "next closest" route as determined by our GPS. On our trek we found a variety of container types. We ended up finding 15 caches with 1 DNF's.
Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

#6403 - 09:40; Day 6 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune and now albida33 who joined us this morning for the rest of the trip, so most logs were signed S.A.L. as a result. After a second night in Burra, we were now caching our way to Port Augusta via Spalding, Gulnare, Crystal Brook, Port Pirie, Napperby, Weeroona Island and Baroota. After grabbing a couple of caches in Spalding, we headed for s short southern detour to grab this cache and another nearby. TFTC Dazzatron

Having survived another June Long Weekend, it was time to head home. So brisal5 and I traveled back together. Of course we had to find just a few more.
Thanks
Thanks
The GOTHs (Geocachers Of The Hills) were back together for another JLWE event. This year we were staying at Gladstone for the event at Wirrabara. The of crew of Brisal5, Aussie M&M and mogni were joined by latest member alternika. Plains dweller Goodlook joined us to make a car full. What could possibly go wrong?
Well quite a few things really. There was the usual torn daks, falls, blood and laughs.
But also some great navigation skills from mogni, some at time white knuckle driving by Mr. M, some expert puzzle solving by alternika which meant we got all the bonus caches, including the two finals, and some tireless running/fast walking and quick finds from the rest. We came a creditable 4th.
Unfortunately the weekend came to an end and it was time to head home. Now it was just Mogni and I making our way south, caching as we went.
Yes it is a nice spot to stop and stretch your legs. Your arms too when the cache drops down!
But we managed a retrieve and signed the log. Thanks for the hide Dazzatron.
