Time to go, boring puzzle that was not the easiest find in location anyway

Cheers Cool

Cache removed waiting to see what the council does to clean up the area

Easy find once GPS settled down. The storms have demolished close trees and exposed the cache site. It may be removed when the council does a clean-up.

Probably the one thing I was good at when at school that I enjoyed was this topic. Even had the required basic resource memorized. Am I a nerd?

Anyway, obviously I had no trouble with the puzzle and today was the day to strike. Had a full day of caching and by the time we got there it was dark. Had to search by torch but found it no dramas.

Nice quick find. Took the travel Smurf bug.

Solved the puzzle a long time ago and have only just had an opportunity to grab it on our way to Bunbury for the weekend. Great puzzle, thanx.

11-Oct-11
Solved before we headed off on holiday, and were rewarded with a smiley at GZ. A few people walking around, but not enough to slow us. Thanks for the puzzle and Cache

09-Sep-11
We had solved this puzzle a couple of months ago before leaving Tassie on our current extended holiday. Today we went to GZ and initially could not find the cache. We extended our serach area and eventually found the cache very well hidden. Thanks for the enjoyable puzzle and cache wileyclan.

22-Jul-11
Solved the puzzle pretty quickly. The grassed area near the GZ was flooded from recent rains, and the local kids were enjoying riding their bikes through the deep water. Landog and I waited them out and headed for the GZ. Searched for about 10 mins, and just when I was about to give up I found the cache. Camouflaged and hidden under leaves etc, on such a dim rainy day it was a challenge to discover. Beware the large centipede under the cache - they bite! Took Sulu Travel Bug. TFTC.

Solved this one a few days ago, quick stop to pick it up Smile Left Sulu TB

Neither the puzzle or the good sized cache posed any problems at all.
Thanks, Robmc.

14-Jun-11
The puzzle posed no problems at all. Since I have taken up caching
I have finally found a use for all those studies and formulas that I was
forced to commit to long term memory back at school
Thanks for this one Wileyclan

One of many finds on a big day out Caching with Felix II.
Another good Wileyclan puzzle and Cache.

Many Thanks.

Had some help from a friend to solve this puzzle. Popped down today to grab the cache. 12th cache of 33 on a Southern Caching run with The Machman today. TFTC wileyclan

Had solved this one before leaving SA and it was the closest cache to where we were staying (Bay Cottage) so we just had to find it before we left. Enjoyed the quick find and the hiding in the trees while people walked by in the open unaware of what was going on. Maybe we should have been spies? TFTC

Nice little puzzle. Thx guys

After the last log, and due to the fact that I haven't checked on it in a while, I wandered by GZ today and can confirm that the cache is still in place.

While at lunch I thought I was very clever to solve GZ for this cache from memory - lucky I didn't have to go any further though as that stretched me to the max (it's been a loooong time!). Anyway I got to GZ (assuming my memory didn't let me down) & was unable to locate the cache. Urch came to my assistance & found some possible caching debris (likely swag items) about 15-20m away - it looks like the cache may have been muggled, although we didn't find any sign of a logbook or container, so it may still be safe in a spot I didn't look?? I have the coords for the bits we found if needed & I think Urch took a photo.

Was showing my muggle sister what the game is about and then recognised the letters for what they are. Off to the library for a bit of a search and lo and behold! TFTH

I solved the puzzle quite quickly when this one was first published, but I don't get the chance to come down here very often, so I made the most of it today with a 21 cache haul Big Grin

The description helped me when I was looking for the cache as the tree cover was throwing my GPS a little bit. So I concentrated on the traditional hiding places, and soon had the cache in hand. There weren't many people around today, so I was able to retrieve and replace the cache without trouble.

Thanks for the puzzle and the cache wileyclan!

Saw the wagtails but couldn't find it Sad

Nice puzzle. Good spot for it too. Had to dodge a couple of aggressive willy wagtails that kept diving about our heads. Maybe there is a nest nearby? Took plastic toy ladybug, left red furry plushtoy monster. TFTC.

Went mad today and bought myself an el-cheapo orienteering compass. It made this one a lot easier - I found the correct East coordinate, then used the compass to find a landmark to the south. Went to that landmark, and walked slowly north searching, and Bingo!! Tiny Trev came with me, he left an army truck and mini pinball (the truck was a bit second hand...) and took an elephant finger puppet. SL TFTC

Happily the area was deserted which led to a nice wander and easy find - left my pathtags. Enjoyed the puzzle and the hunt. Thanks wileyclan.

2598 - Solved this one last night so I thought I'd have a go for it early this morning.

Even early there were dog walking muggles everywhere. Luckily no right at GZ so the find was made without being seen - thanks for an enjoyable Puzzle Cache !

TNLN - TFTC !!

Cheers....

Newbie cacher - looked for 10 today. This was no. 8 and a DNF. Mind you, I only found 1

I thought I was onto a winner here, with a pun on the description and the type of...natural obstacles I was faced with. Still didn't find it, though. Found a wonderful pile of sticks all pointing in the same direction, a branch over another branch that looked like it had been placed there, symmetrically spaced trees, and heaps of other stuff....but not the cache!! I'm beginning to think I'm broken!!

Cheers,
Trev

A quick, fun puzzle - makes a pleasant change from some of the mind-benders we've been doing recently. Alternative reading: I was able to do this one myself instead of having to rely on the puzzle-prowess of Mrs AusTrackers.
There were muggles nearby and we couldn't afford an extended search so we read the hint and found the cache instantly. Thanks wileyclan for an enjoyable cache.

28-Jun-10
Solved it within days of its publishing but no opportunity to visit until today on our way home from a Perth trip. Co-ords were pretty good but still took us a bit of scrounging around to find the right location.

The puzzle was easy, and I was amazed I still remembered my year 9 Chemistry. The search for the cache was slightly more difficult as the options were many and the GPSr would not settle, but persistence paid off, took the Zebra TB that is racing to NZ, and will move it to the east coast soon. I was impressed that geo-son could work this puzzle out without referring to text books or tables. Enjoyable hunt and a must do is the spinny thing in the playground nearby. See if you can manage to stay upright for 5 seconds or more - walking not sitting! Razz Thanks Wileyclan for an amusing afternoon.

Puzzle was pretty easy, however finding the cache itself was less so.
Amongst dodging the doggle walkers I had to contend with less than helpful Sats and Mozzies who also wanted my attention not to mention blood.
Finally got the cache just before sunset.
Left a TB which is trying to get to NZ, help it on its way.
Took Aussie Coin.

*FTF* 9:45pm.

I hadn't been out all day and was just checking the mail when the published log arrived so after a quick refresher I was off on a small trip to find this cache. Unfortunately the torch didn't want to work so had to rely on the GPS to find the cache. Although this made it harder it was soon found.

Thanks for the cache, pin and certificate. No swaps made.
