I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi ishootThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
I came early morning to visit the Auckland Domain. I was greeted by a piwakawaka close to GZ, but there was also a fallen giant, which made searching pretty hard, accessible locations didn't have any cache. It could well be this cache is under the fallen branches and impossible to retrieve.
Went to look for this after the event in the Domain. Spent a decent amount of time here with another pair of eyes but no luck.
Had a good hunt the other day and found nothing. Looks like there has been a lot of movement with storms etc.
Thanks anyway!

Found it but couldn't log on paper as paper was soggy from floods.
Have a photo of the find tho

We changed the domestic part of our trip out of the country to give us time to see the Ancient Greeks Exhibit at the museum. On the way back to the train station there was time to look in on this one. I relied on my Garmin to find GZ and there was a biggie close by it wasn't the one. A smaller specimen closer to GZ is what you need. I was a bit surprised when I went to log it to see all the DNF's but it turns out that they generally had less than 50 finds. Log sheet is dry.
DNF from me I’m afraid, not sure if the wet & windy weather has blown leaves etc around too much to find it amongst the camouflage
Wandering in Parnell on beautiful lazy Saturday afternoon.
TRAINSPOTTING is one of my favorite movies!
No problems with this hide.

8030 Another day in Auckland with ABCDF4 and eyespyben. Enjoyed the walk to GZ as it was in the shade and the birds were singing. At GZ the cache was soon spotted and signed. Could not see any trains from GZ but we could hear them coming and going. Thank you for the placement.
Off to the big smoke of Auckland again with KGD &EyespyBen and what a beautiful day
Nice easy find now the walk back up the hill on to the next one thanks

Was out and about in the city today with my mates playing some mini-golf and pool, and after our games ended (With me being victorious in both), I decided to go through the underpass and grab this geocache on a rather overcast and drizzly afternoon
As I approached GZ and saw the vast landscape, I knew this could take a while (Especially considering the cache was placed over a decade ago and things could've changed). I read some previous comments and started scanning and poking around in places. I ended up doing a couple laps of my search area and I started losing hope...All until I spotted a tree I hadn't searched yet which matched some comments and sure enough - There was the cache! All dry inside and in good conditon. TFTC!

Took a few moments for the GPS to settle on the right spot, but once it did this was pretty quick to find. Nice and quiet (and shaded, that's nice on a hot day!) here. Thanks!

My last cache in Auckland for a while again!
It was a good weekend!
Found the cache just before jumping on the train actually.
I used to trainspot together with my grandpa when I was a kid. We used to walk up to the tracks and wait for a cargo train, and then try and count how many train cars it had.

Came up to Auckland on the Te Huia train to visit the Van Gogh Alive exhibition at the Spark Arena. Good excuse to take trains for a bit of train-spotting. Spent some time at museum and domain and decided to pick up the cache on the way back to the Parnell train station. Took a bit of sniffing around to locate the cache. Was surprised to find a dry log in clearly what is a very damp spot.
Tried for the two caches on this side of the park and this one took a bit of time. Could not locate the stump but by process of elimination found the right tree and then the cache. Thanks CO for the experience.
Decided to use the Free Public transit day promotion to get around Auckland a bit. Ended up in Hobsonville, Takapuna and the CBD. Three adventure labs and around 40 caches found!
Not a bad day!
Thanks to all the COs for their placements!
Specifics on this cache:
I missed it on my first pass, but got it on the second once I read the hint more carefully!

Exploring tracks with Dracophyllum and took a detour for this cache. Several possibilities investigated, but eventually tracked it down after giving GPS a glance at some open sky to reorient itself. Lovely walking tracks. TFTC
I was in the CBD today for an appointment and had planned to go to a reserve for a walk after, unfortunately the sky had that awful grey/brown colour that promises hours of drizzly rain. I was not wrong! After my appointment it started to rain and really didn't stop. Time for a change of plan, off to the museum.
I decided to walk up from Parnell and this cache was on the way and I can't just walk past a cache without finding it now can I! I headed to GZ which meant a little more of the beaten path than I was expecting. The GPS would not settle either, so I decided to be methodical. Eventually I searched the right one and found what looked to be a promising place. There was the cache and it didn't take me too long to find. Thanks for the cache #982

This one was pretty tricky and took a decent while to find. Got a bit wet and muddy too! TFTC
Trouvée facilement ! Elle est bien là ! Mais attention il y a deux possibilités ! Il faut trouver le bon arbre !
After quite a search, and glad ther’s no snakes in NZ, all we found was a big box ziptied to a tree with a label “ DANGER. DO NOT TOUCH” so we left it alone.
Out ‘n about with m4yb getting a few caches.
Pity we have one DNF now in Auckland but we both looks in all the obvious spots. With gratitude of no snakes in this fine land. Just the danger box she mentioned.

Today I explored Auckland on foot and covered over 20 km.
I discovered a lot of beautiful places and could find a lot of cans.
Some of them I did not find.
It was a nice, long, sunny day and I want to thank all owners for this.
It was a great pleasure for me to cache here in Auckland.
Thank you and many greetings from Germany
from Pöni.

Group of 4 looked for nearly an hour, no luck. We had trouble with confirm an exact GZ due to the GPS jumping around. Tried using the clue and applying some logic. Steady stream of muggles made it hard. We enjoyed the area any way.
NLBokkie and I are going on holiday to New Zealand for 3 weeks. In Auckland we rent a camper. We start on the North island and driving to the south to make the crossing to the South island. Here we make a round and then take the boat back to the North Island. A long trip, but a very beautiful one! We do and see a lot on our way.........…
In addition to being a tourist, we are also going to cache along the way. The virtuals and earth caches are often on tourism places. If we have a long day of traveling, we stop for some caches.
It were great weeks!

After handing in the camper van that took us all over New Zealand for three weeks, Berrydehamster and me use the rest of the day to make our way to the War Memorial. Slowly though, so we can find and do lots of caches on our way. It’s a great way to get to know the city and a great way to spend our last full day in New Zealand. Thanks for this cache, ishoot
Hmm looked around a lot of trees but no luck. Couldn’t find any stumps either so couldn’t really narrow search
This was the third time I had been here and yet again I spend a good 30 minutes searching. My GPS was very bouncy and I couldn't get a clear GZ. I looked under many trees and was so relieved to finally find it. My Mum's apartment is in Cheshire Street so I've walked down here many times. We enjoy train spotting from her balcony which overlooks the tracks. I'm chasing my Mystery at the Museum souvenirs so this will help with that. Thanks for the cache
Relied more on GPS and logic, as well as previous logs than the hint but we got it after about 30 minutes. Feeling good now!
Bit of searching by kiwikenny while I encouraged from the sidelines. Didn't know there was now a train station here!
Staying nearby so thought we’d tackle some caches in the domain. Took us a bit to figure out how to get into the park from the last cache we had done so of course went the long way but as soon as we arrived at GZ we pretty much walked straight up to cache. SL and we were onto the next hunt. TFTC
My gps didn't want to settle so it took longer to find than it should have. TFTC ishoot

Looking for this cache for an hour and frustrated from the GPS jumping alot, we studied the photos of other peoples until they were imprinted in our minds and searched all stumps in a 20m radius we had to quit as was dark and go home abit disappointed.

Tftc. The log is full. The gps is bouncing. We let a little present for futur exchange.
I don't know how we managed to get on the right path, but we did! Can't see too many trains from GZ, but we can hear them!
Greetings from Texas, USA!
Our first cache in Auckland, visiting from Australia. Quick find on a great day for caching. Thanks.
Took quite a while as GPS struggled in the trees. Almost gave up, but found eventually (13m off, probably a problem of my phone). Pew, I am relieved now. Glad I didn't give up and was able to turn it into a happy face. Found together with Pyphant and Greenkiwikids and signed as "Team Piraten!". When I remember it right, the log book is full... TFTC

After arriving at GZ, we were trying to locate in which direction to go. A jogger passed us and thought, we're lost in the woods - she wanted to help us by telling us the correct way... But we explaned her, that we were on a treasure hunt and weren't lost - so she ran her way and we were able to locate the hiding spot. Thanks for the cache!
Found it. Tftc

Thanks for this one!

Had to wander around a little bit whilst my GPS settled down. This cache is a golden colour - not to be confused with the black rodent poison boxes nearby! Found at 1200Hr on 25 Jan 2019.
Almost gave up on this but with after climbing through the bush a bit we managed to find it! Log is very wet and a little broken. TFTC
Unser letzter Tag in Neuseeland.

Auckland Day 5: Auckland Domain - Parnell.
After a very productive trip up to Northland, it’s back to Auckland for another little break from the travelling. Today’s weather was too good to stay indoors, though, and one day indoors is probably enough to give any addicted geocacher cabin fever. I decided to focus more on quality and field caches today, rather than going for the numbers. Any tradis picked up were just incidental caches along the way. A good afternoon today spent traversing Grafton and Parnell, though a slightly sweaty at times in the mid afternoon as the temperature crept up to the mid twenties, but good fun all round.
The following is the specific log for each cache:
Took the train from Grafton to the not-so-very-new-anymore Parnell Station. Walked over the little woods at the domain and wandered around with the GPS pointing me in whichever direction until I spotted the right specimen and the cache soon after. TFTC!
