Somebody definitely took it looked everywhere. Ive been looking for like 20 minutes not there.
Scratch last post I meant to put it on another cash could not find. I think somebody took it.
Out for a long stroll around the CBD, and this was my second find of the day. No problems here.
After lunch I headed into the city and tried to find some free parking after paying a fair bit for a couple of hours last weekend. I called down this road as I'd remembered seeing the stone dome things, and was interested. Pulled in here and parked up so I could heat my cold water up. A quick walk to GZ and the cache was soon sighted, then signed and replaced as found.Phew, what a scorcher as they say. The heat has been steadily building through the week and today was the first day that it hit 40 degrees for me whilst out caching, yay, another first. I had a late morning meeting I needed to be ready for but managed to find time for a quick 4A out to Semaphore area for a look-see before the catch-up. After that I headed into 'the city' for a few more, but the heat was too much so grand plans were amended downwards and modest finds ensued. Thanks to all COs for their hides etc, much appreciated.
Well turning into the wrong drive leads to an unexpected cache. Thanks for placing one here! TFTC light venturers.
Thanks light venturers for hiding this cache and giving us some fun chasing it down This was find number 991 for us
Log is wet and growing a healthy dose of mould. Log would benefit from a replacement.
In town for a few days, figured Id explore the city while caching. This was a quick grab as I scootered around. TFTC!
The sun is trying to shine so I headed into the city on my bike to find a few caches.
After a couple of DNF’s I was hoping I’d find this one, which I did.

I was in the area for a multi cache, but I failed to find that one.
Then I tried this traditional one, as it's almost on my way back to the carpark.
While approaching GZ, I thought the cache was hidden in the fallen log, but I was wrong. That's not GZ.
At GZ, cache has been found easily.
Signed the log sheet, and placed the cache back. Covered it well.
Thanks for the traditional cache, light venturers.
PS: it's so hot today, even my mobile sent me a high-temperature warning while I was walking to GZ.

TFTC. Soggy logs and wet container. Picture proof. Gr8 fun discovering the parklands
I was out for a nice evening stroll and came by this geocache. Looking for this cache gave me a good chance to get to know the nearby park.
NO ANIMALS WHERE INJURED IN THE FINDING OF THIS CACHE. Well hidden took me a while to find 22/06/2022 @1250 hrs. Scared my self silly when I flipped a hibernating Blue Tongue Lizzard into the air while scraping around base of various trees. Signed log and replaced Blue Tongue and Cache in there respective homes.
Thanks for the experience.

Pleasant walk near the city. Great way to spend a Friday. Cache and contents are dry despite the recent rain. TFTC
Pretty much looked at it very tree. Not here. Owner may need to comeback and confirm
Collecting a few caches on my way back home today.
Easy find here today with cache and log book in good condition.
A lot of music ringing around today from whatever is going on over on the side of the train tracks.
Put my signature in the log book and returned the cache.
Thanks to light venturers for this cache.

After an expensive shopping trip I was wandering back to my accommodation and made a detour to this cache. With the area deserted I was able to search to my heart's content and made the quick find. Spot on coordinates helped! TFTC light venturers
Very quiet at this spot today. Quick find, cache and contents all good. Thanks light venturers. .
We had a bit of spare time so we did a bit of Adelaide caching, well as close to urban as we like to do anyway!
No Russians seen today, somehow we never got invaded. We went for a wander around the park and found a cache. This seems to be a popular bike riding track during the day too. Not sure if we could have been happy as a communist country, most people are very materialistic, and all those Russian pictures have everyone looking so miserable.
Once set up to protect the Adelaide coastline from a Russian invasion, the cannons of Fort Glanville still keep a watchful eye over the waters of Gulf St Vincent. Built in 1878, the fort was only in service for two decades before being decommissioned, spending later years being used in may different ways including a caravan park and internment centre, before being restored to its original state.
As explained by the president of the Fort Glanville Historical Association, Russ Sheldrick, the fort was constructed in the height of the cold war between England and Russia.
With fears that the Russians would expand their territory and attack English settlements that were far from the homeland, England ordered the construction to protect its southern colony.
"The colonists were afraid that a raiding squadron might be sent to South Australia to attack our shipping off the Semaphore anchorage," Russ explained.
One of what was meant to be a three fort defence line, a second fort was built at Taperoo (now part of the Police Academy), with a third planned for Glenelg.
The aptly named Military Road linked the sites
Phew lucky we defended our coastline.
Thanks light venturers for the cache and a bit of Adelaide history. TNLNSL

Very nice day. Found a $2 coin not too far away. My pen ran out of ink could not sign it.
Parked near by and made the walk to this one, cache was found out in the open so replaced back next to tree
With a community celebration event looming in the city at lunch time I left home a few hours earlier to do some caches just west of the city.
Total of 16 caches plus 1 lab for the day.
Thanks for the cache

A fast find by the tracks.
I spotted some magpies in the trees and thought I’d be fair game as I made my way to GZ. But I got in and got the cache signed without being swooped.

Greetings from Canberra! After flying in to Adelaide from Perth last night, I figured a few caches were in order to wake me up this morning. Found 5 from 6 so not so bad!
This cache: quick find, quite a number of trains came by while I was in the vicinity!
Thanks light venturers for the cache and the fun!

Territorial birds were letting me know they didn’t like me hunting too long. Snug hide. TFTC.
TFTC! Container well sealed and could easily be made a harder find if left for a month without being touched

Sadly no find for me today. Nothing at all at GZ nor in the immediate area as I increased the search parameters to no avail. Saw 3 trains and 2 helicopters flying above but no cache.
Found! The device to conceal container was covered in ants so used another long skinny wooden device (stick) to move it! Moved it a few more times and all the little black muggles moved off the concealing device! Tftc!
Not where I first presumed it would be. But found quite easily nonetheless. TFTC!
After a walk across the park in fading light we located this cache. Unfortunately it appears to have been visited by muggles who have left a familiar signature -multiple diagrams depicting male genitalia, on several pages of the log book. We removed most of the adorned pages. There had also been a sachet of hand cream left as a swap in the container. This had been torn open and emptied into the plastic bag protecting the log book. Fortunately the log book only has one well greased corner. We cleaned up the logbook as best we could and, after signing it, put it back into the container minus the plastic bag. We did not have a replacement bag big enough fot it.
Thanks for this cache light venturers. You might like to visit this cache and give it a spruce up and a new plastic, logbook protection bag.
