Reading a little further thru the logs I think I know what I should have found, but there was a hole where this would have been, but it wasn't there.

Good clue and excellent cache. Water has got into the logbook bag but we could still write in it.

Didnt fancy washing our dog so left him in the van for this quick find, the cache was soon located in a nicely hidden spot, had just the tool handy.
Once the cache was open we discovered that not only the dog was washed, but the logbook looked more like a goldfish in a bag fresh from the pet shop!! Bag bulging with water and a fully submerged logbook, did not attempt to write in it as it was wet we took a photo if you would like proof of the find.
Might want to do maintenance on the logbook.

Nice Camo, I did notice the container as soon as we got to the general area. TFTC.
Nice walk up & down the park for 1 of 2 doggie related caches in the area. Very good camo job as I first thought that could be it, then took some steps around the object next to it just to double check & investigated further. TB Monster Truck in, toy out - toy in.
I wanted to end this day with a find. Thanks for this beautiful cache.
The hide and theme is for me a favoritespoint.

Second time here, searched in a different way to how we found the cache. Went home, thought of the title and "OHH"ed. Smart cache! ttfc!
Nicely hidden cache - good work. Log was actually quite damp but could write on ok. Co-ords spot on!SL TFTC
#634 Too busy here the other night, so returned today, much quieter, managed to sneak in and out very quickly. Great hide. Can't say I noticed the TB's ?? in the cache. Log is wet, probably needs a good dry out. SL TFTC.
Nicely themed cache. I remember visiting a cache nearby some years ago, under the green container at the other end of the field.

Great hidey spot. Dropped off TB. Nothing collected. Paperwork still a bit damp. Stood up cannister to dry out.
Spotted the hiding spot on approach.
The golfer on the field and the tennis players were minding there own doggy business.
Logbook a bit damp. (maybe from all the washing )

Clever hide! Muggle lady practising her golf swing nearby asked us if we had lost a tennis ball so we did have to explain that we were doing an online treasure hunt game! She was very nice though and seemed quite interested.
Dropped in a colourful fish

Intersected - whoops, stupid phone, didn't mean to send that!
Was trying to say that it's an interesting container (not intersected!), but the log book is now rather mouldy :-s

Unfortunately the cache has had a wash too. Had a flannel with me so dried log book and hung in sun while i emptied the water out of container and dried everything else. Removed a couple of ruined swaps and put in replaced. Put in new silica but log could do with further drying. Stood cache up right - might be an idea to write "this side up' on lid. Great camo, TFTC
Long wet grass - who is responsible for mowing the lawns around here!
No team sports being played here today, so a short (wet) walk and the cache was in hand.
Thanks, Robmc.

quick find when at ground zone, understood the clue when we got there to. T4TC
After doing a circuit of the tennis club, found we could have made an easier approach... Nice big cache
The pipes must be leaking as the soft toys were all a bit on the wet side

Out with the Grandson for a bit of exercise doing some caching this afternoon. It wasn't meant to be a race to see who who could find them first but it ended up that way. This was the fifth with Grandson 3 Grandad 2.
Out: Jeep TB.

4633 Great camo... and great spot to wash your dogs. Saw a dog playing tennis and another playing rugby, the later could have done with a wash.

11.25am.Beautiful day. Out for a walk to find a couple of close to home caches. Gave much thought to the cache name and to the hint while on the walk and began to think I knew what was in store. At GZ I was rewarded with an indication my thinking was correct!! Clever!! Plenty of wet grass mud and leaves around today for a cleanly washed dog to roll in. Uplifted the TB's for moving on and left another TB. Also left a Kiwi keyring.

Took our dog along for a lovely walk on this beautiful sun shiney day and what do you know? He got so mucky in the park that it's time for a wash! Swiss Army Knife came in handy too.
We believe copying must be the greatest form of flattery, so thanks for this one! Rather familiar container of course. No dogs about today. TFTC
Loved the cache page photo, boy do we miss not having a dog . Immediately spotted a potential cache and sure enough there it was. Another great hide in the series T4TC.
Nice BIG cache, love it. Good placement too.
In Yellow Jeep, Real TB, Bell TB and Geocoin.
Out Geocoin.
Thanks very much for the cache.

"washing the dog" ????? Now it makes sense.
A rugby game was in full swing near the GZ, nobody took notice what the guy and his dog are doing. Great camo - had a big smile on my face.
TNLNSL cheers

Quickly spotted the crafty hide. Have found another one like this before. Dropped off some TB's and a GC. TFTC (The kids really enjoyed the park too)
Mrs BarkingmadNZ came home and simply shook her head at my terrible grammer, altered description text to now be more readable.
Straight to it-then the drama started-used car key for tool & snapped it in half!PAF for spare key & very red faced departed to next cache.Great cache!
After an unexpected FTF success at Beware of the Dog we knew it was time for Washing the Dog. Arrived at GZ and commenced searching as one of our torches began to fail. After quite some time looking without success we widened our search, and noticed something a bit further away that reminded us of the hint. Unfortunately we got hung up on the wrong thing, and spent quite some time establishing that it was not in fact a cache. . After going down the wrong line we refocused our search back at the co-ords for one last look. This time we quickly spotted the hide, and signed the logbook just before midnight. Very nicely done, thanks.
