No response from owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note.. This has not been found for many months has also been visited by a previous finder, who could not re-find it, local council cleaned out the area and it seems to have gone in that process.
This one seems to be history, with apart from a 4 month after the fact log, back in June, no find since at least Jan, all the others are DNF's
Tried to find this with someone who had previously found it after I tried they had a go and declared it not there. The previous post is well out of it's timeline, this cache has had months of failed to finds.
Back for another investigation but it is possibly missing because we had a previous findee in our ranks and she couldn't find it!
We came.
We saw.
We didn't find it.
A hot day prevented caching earlier than we did. Then the darkness came.
Found a container of lip balm under a rock, a tennis ball, and some gift wrapping, but no cache.
Saw a place where I'd hide one though.

I couldnt find it, searched everywhere all in the bushes and along the fence line....maybe next time?
Found by youngest team member, who loved this location of course. Took save the children bracelet, left yoyo. TFTC

Well hidden cache, got quite wet under here, had to think about where I would hide it and I did decrypt the clue. TNLN. Thanks.
Twice I have driven here and not got out of the car as this is a popular little park.
An early 7.30am visit sorted out that problem and showing lots of stealth near the fence I soon had your cache in hand.
Thanks Shredded

Cruising around looking for a dinner option and this popped up so a quick stop and follow the track to GZ. Was well hidden but found it and signed log and replaced. Nice train but real ones are better.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Almost every time I have come past here there have been little people playing in the park and I've had to abort the mission. This time I visited early on a cold morning and made a quick find.
Seems like a nice park though we got there in the dark. Surely kids would enjoy this place.

Saw other logs that this would be easy, but gave up very quickly as I felt very uncomfortable rummaging through the bushes on dusk in a children's playground by myself! Will have to find a small relative to take along with me next time so I don't look like a creepy person!
Another lovely park for kids to play in. Easy find once the muggles weren't looking. TFTC. TNLN.
How dare there be someone else playing in the park when we want to cache. Gave JABs Kid 1 the job of search and rescue and while the muggle was turned she vanished from sight. I returned to the rest of the family playing on the train and was soon rejoined by my oldest. Couldn't find a truck but that is for the wife to solve.
JABs.
JABs.
Found it in the local park where my five year old daughter plays. she held the iphone and found it, so was thrilled
Easy find, was surprised that no muggles were about on a saturday midday.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
Had to wait and wait for the muggles to leave....didn't want to appear to be doing something "weird" in the bushes so gave up and went back to car only to be followed by the muggles!! Turned around and dived back in and eventually found it pretty easily. TFTC
Second visit for this one as the last time we decided wet mulch, wet trees and dry cachers didn't mix too well, so we called it off.
This visit, the mulch was still wet but the sun was shining and the trees weren't dripping. Turned out to be an easy find once the muggle parents were occupied with little kids on the slippery-dip.

Decided to do this one on way to collect daughter from dinner in Nth Hobart. Mrs NQ and jr Geo came along and after reading the logs this cache was very quickly found in a cute little park. Some young muggles turned up to play cricket while we signed the log but were far to busy appealing for outs than what we were doing. cache returned to its hide. TNLN TFTC GPS spot on.
I was lucky that just as I pulled up the last of the muggles were leaving. Had the whole place to myself. took a bit of finding but it was there.

Thanks Shredded for the cache.
I will admit that I instigated the removal of the cool train and the installation of the less than cool new train.
That was back in August 2002. Nearly 10 years ago! how time flys
After doing the cache I went to visit the old train / tractor / steam engine.
it still lives, does need a new coat of paint though.

Arrgghh!!! Today was the third time geoniece and I called into this park when there was noone here. But every single time, 5 minutes later, someone turns up!!! The cache requires quite a bit of searching crouched in bushes which looks really dodgy, so we have to abort every time. Seems a lot of parents and grandparents don't seem to care how uncool the train is these days!!!
Took a long time of waiting for a clear run, but eventually TrixiesMama found this one while I watched the geotoddler snooze.
Great park, geotod loves it!

Pick a cold dreary day, and you can pretty much expect to get the place to yourself! After a little bit of hunting, I found the cache while Red Kitten attempted to shove himself inside the train, while Cheesy pigs walked in ever increasing circles TNLN Thanks!
Had to have a bit of a hunt for this cache but found it in the end. A quiet day red kitten was running interference but in the end there was no one to distract. Tnln tftc
I dropped in at lunch time on Tuesday but was almost immediately joined by two separate parents and their children so I couldn't have any sort of a look. I came back this afternoon with my 2 year old grandson who, by the way, thought this train was pretty cool. A couple of quick sorties and I found and logged the cache. My aunt used to live in a house that backed on to this park so I remember the old one too. Thanks for the cache and Connor says thanks for the park.
This is certainly a very popular place for kids after school - a great area to play. A quick find. TFTC
While my car is in getting a service I jumped on my bike to kill a few hours. Fantastic view of the Mountain (it had a cloudy blanket when I arrived).

It feels like only months ago that there was another cache here as well... I guess this must be one of those "caching abhors a vacuum" type locations. TFTC.
Found after a bit of a search in the undergrowth. Left marbles and took the dinosaur. TFTF
I turned up twice - the first time, I was just ducking into the bushes when a family turned up to use the playground, so I slunk off.
Later, I came back in the rain and had the park to myself.

The difficulty was reduced significantly considering the time of the day I searched.
It was a very still night and the moon was just a faint glow through the thick misty fog that was devouring Hobart.
Most of the houses where in darkness and it was so still I could almost hear the men snoring (cant have been the women as we dont snore)
Thanks for the cache Shredded & ij3k

I'd allowed 1/2 an hour's drive to get to the fun run, but it was looking like it was only going to take 10 minutes (to get to faraway Glenorchy) so I turned off and came and grabbed this cache. Turns out 9:10am on a drab looking Sunday morning was an excellent (and quiet) time to find this one! I'd been in the park once before when looking for the hide of a multi-cache (that turned out to be missing) - so I had been here before, but not when there was a cooler train! Thanks for the cache, Shredded & ij3k.
fortunately for me muggles don't like this area on a wet winter's friday evening. perfect caching opportunity!

9yo cacherboy is a train fanatic, but he's too young to remember the other train, so he's more than happy with this one.

Tftc. We have had fish and chips in this park a few times. The train while not as cool as the previous one certain makes for a good table and there is just enough room for ball games.
Managed a find on this cache at 1058hrs as my 3rd of 5 today giving me 524 overall. Great view and I've taken that train for a drive; have you. TFTC and cheers; OldSaint.
I was at home having something bland for lunch, eager to get back into bed with my antibiotics and my nasty ENT & chest infection when I saw this one was published. At first I was tempted to head out even if I felt dreadful. It was a cache close to home and shouldn't require more effort than someone who feels like they are on their death bed would be able to expend. And who else would be in the park on a day like today? Then I came to my senses and realised the best thing to do for my health was to go back to bed. . .
All that must have been some sort of feverish dream, as soon I found myself not far from an apparently-not-as-cool-as-years-before train with a pencil poised over a clean log book. I signed my paw print to make the FTF official, then headed back to daylight. And who should appear before my my eyes but Mr DnA!, examining a local feature while his GPSr settled. He mentioned I should have retrieved a FTF certificate, so I hung around doing a bit of CITO until he'd scored the find as well.
Thank you for the cache - and thanks to DnA! as well for making the find all the more memorable.

I checked my email before heading out to a job, read that there was a new cache not too far from where I was heading so decided to make the detour and grab a FTF. I got to the park and there was no one in sight. I was feeling quite confident that I would be FTF until Snuva emerged from behind the bushes. Never mind, I'm happy to settle for STF. It is always nice to bump into other geocachers when out caching. TFTC
