Appears to have been missing for nearly three years. Normal etiquette is to attempt a find before submitting a NM or NA but that seems pointless in this case.
Any update on whether this cache is still here as there’s been no activity for over two years!
2 people, 20 minutes, 1 friendly house muggle, no cache or anything viable resembling hint. Messaged CO.
Finally got this one today after encouragement from another cacher. After signing and replacing the log it was a pleasure to sit on the handy seat not too far away and admire the view. Thanks for placing a cache in this pleasant spot.
Solved ages ago or so I thought but not so sure now!
Definitely in the ballpark so to speak as the solved coordinates were in the right vicinity of the posted ones.
However GPS was pointing me to a wasp infested bush so I didn't investigate very thoroughly. A checksum or geochecker would be useful for the likes of me who knows nothing about the subject and is prone to make silly errors!

Talking of silly errors I logged this incorrectly as found (wishful thinking maybe...) fixed!
Quite an easy solve given my rather limited football knowledge. How ever did we get on in the days before Google? Was it Yahoo? Parked the car for a short stroll down the path to GZ where cache was quickly located. SLTFTC
A nice fast find after solving the puzzle, quite a pretty, secluded little area! TFTC
Well almost a year since a previous DNF I came back today for another look and had the cache in hand within moments. Thanks for the cache.
Cache # 2,029 - a lovely afternoon for a ride up the coast, and an attempt at one that eluded us before. Violet Butterfly, Astro Hunter and I approached this one with a bit of trepidation, knowing how hard we had searched before. Lo and behold, we found it in the first few seconds of looking! TNLNSL. TFTC and the puzzle!
Found with The Wandering Dragons and Violet Butterfly tonight. Lovely day for a stroll. Thanks!

Did today with the Dragon and the Hunter. Nice to find it so quickly, especially after our unsuccessful attempt a year ago. Thank you! Took nothing, left nothing.

Took Sensibility geocaching for the fist time. Happy to say she's hooked! Had no trouble with this one, nice and easy. TFTC!
#665 just spent a lovely half hour at cafe working out coords for this one. Slightly damp but all there. Hint saw slightly confusing but got there. TFTC
Was interested in getting this one as I remember the 1982 campaign very well with the growing public interest as it went on then the 2010 campaign and the memorable game against Bahrain in Wellington.
Managed to get the answers to the questions quickly then came up the coast for Mothers Day weekend. Popped in and had the cache in hand in no time. TFTC

I needed a cache of this type to keep the challenge streak from coming to an inglorious end....so I inched my way towards the keeper with some trepidation as I was fearful I'd be caught in an offside trap and the goal would be disallowed. However, I was able to slide under the outstretched arms of the defenders, and scored a smiley. TFTC and the mental work out. Also counts for day 9 of the continuous caching streak required by the MGSC.
Always trust your GPSr. I would have found the final quicker if I had done so. Cache was discovered out in the open a little, so replaced behind the veil so that the hint will make sense to the next cacher. TFTC
Just like the previous visitors I had no luck here today. Despite feeling conspicuous I had a good long look but came away empty handed.
I will have another talk with Dr Google and check my numbers but perhaps the CO would like to pay a visit and check everything is as it should be?

Tried this one a few weeks ago at night, without success, but chalked it up to the dark. Went back today in the sunlight with help, and we had no luck. GZ appears to be on private property, although close to a public thoroughfare that certainly fits the description. Already run through the numbers twice but will do it again before we attempt once more.
Found during a day of caching on the coast.
And a very pleasant sort of a day for lat August too.
This being an otherwise known-only-to-the-locals sort of spot, one had to wonder who might be observing as we hunted about, located, and replaced the cache.
All in order, log signed, and safely re-hidden as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Solved ages ago, and finally today a chance to sign it off. Had to dodge some muggles who turned up unexpectedly. TFTC
Took a while to get a solution that looked right (one oversight). Had to google every answer...
Quick find at night, with no muggle interlopers.

Checked on this cache on way home as last couple of logs says cache missing.
Cache is definately not there, just its hidey hole.
Owner needs to replace cache or possible send it to rest.

Found the hiding spot with the attachment mechanism but the cache itself appears to have been muggled.
After having solved the puzzle months ago I decided that it was time to slip this one past the goalie. An interesting puzzle which is definately not an area in which I can boast any knowledge. TFTC
I was able to answer five of the questions from memory. The subject isn't even one of my favourites so I guesss that just shows how much of a sports nut I am. I quite liked the hide. TFTC.
A puzzle I solved earlier in the year, so it was good to finally get a chance to look for it. My first visit to Paekakariki - have always just driven past en route to elsewhere.
Nicely hidden, but spotted it straight away.

Solved a long time ago, loved the puzzle, and then the walk to GZ, took Blaf the smaller K9 member of team Geckoh for the distraction to the odd muggle, found after a small search, nicely camo'd!

Great puzzle. Quick find for the kids. Dropped off one tb. and grabbed two. We didn't record the tracking number on one of the TB's before we dropped it off in Our Backyard...Petone Wharf (Wellington) (GC25MF8)so sorry, teh TB has been moved. We'll log it if and when someone drops us a note with the tracking code. Sorry if this stuffs things up for anyone.

Find #559. Our final of only two caches we found today, as we cleared out the area a bit to make way for some new caches. The questions were quickly solved and a reasonable solution was found. We initially assumed we were in the wrong spot as the hint did not seem to match the area, but something looked out of place… that’s because it was! A quick retrieval, and some nice big slugs enjoying their wooden home! Another mystery ticked off. SL TFTC.
Finally Had solved this sometime ago but thought I had solved incorrectly. Solved again this week with same result, so visited area only to find I had left the co-ordinates at home. Today, a quick find Nice hide. [^]. TNLNSL TFTC. Cache secure and dry.
Had a game of Google Soccer before leaving home in Auckland, so knew where Sandy Soccer would be played here. Quick find once we were in the right spot. Thanks.

Solved this some time ago, and decided to collect while in the area. Junior EU crew member must have had his eyes closed on initial look. Nice hide. TFTC
Bit of a blank on all those questions for me but a wee session of googling had it sorted.

Lots of running around on the pitch with yelled advice from Coach Google. Finished off just before the final whistle with a short range kick to the back corner, saw this one out with a win to the team. Thanks for the puzzle and the challenge. TFTC. (Found with Kiwileo)
Having watched the final in Sicily we finally got round to running onto this pitch. Quick dribble past the fullback and a cracker top left corner goal left the keeper bemused. TFTCSL
Tripped up as the keeper slid to save Bkj97's goal but managed to grab a couple of TB's. T4TCSL
Solved a while ago.. But had one co-ord out so was out by 30m.. Got it today and enjoyed the cache..
Thanks for the puzzle and cache..

Puzzled solved by Master waiiti20 (and corrected by Mr waiiti20) and paperwork completed while heading up north. TFTC (we were both at one of the games mentioned)
TFTC TNLNSL Quick find on a morning wander around Paekakariki, nice description in the hint to get this one.
Solved the puzzle for this shortly after publication and paid a visit the following weekend but the GPSr led me to the middle of the railway tracks. Something had to be wrong so I didn't hang around. Found my stupid error quickly once I got home, and came back today to complete a quick find. Well-done hide too! Signed log, thanks for the very topical cache!
Solved this a few minutes after publication with a little help from my friend Google. Only just got around to visiting up this way today.

#424. Played a quick game of 1-a-side football last night with google.co.nz as the ref. We came away with the win and collected our prize today. A quick find at GZ, nice hide, SL, TFTC. -shell, -plane, -tb, +ben10 card, +matchbox, +tb.
A quick stop on the way home.
Interesting puzzle.
I work for a soccer/rugby company but I didn't know any of the answers.
Thanks.

Enjoyed the puzzle, and had to complete this one while the All Whites are thrilling us with their achievements. Good fun, thanks.
We knew some and had to search for a few. All three in this team are happy to be watching the world cup and are frequently found with a football at our feet. I saw it as I walked past and backtracked to do as asked. Cool hide and a nice view today. Swapped TBs
Solved this one the day it came out BUT was busy entertaining visitors from out of town so decided to leave it for the time being. Arrived at GZ in the rain and a quick search and finally found after looking in the correct location, interesting hide. Took Kiwi OE (TB2JCXA) MMMmmmmmm Kiwifruit. I am Clean and Green and from New Zealand. (TB2CBQ8). TFTC LNSL (1928)
Cool, loved the puzzle, knew the first Question without research but had to resort to google for the rest, Thanks for the puzzle,
