Took the Geo kids for a cycle from safety bay road to Karnup rd. Checking my phone, nothing to be found. Checking my archived PQ, there was a few to target.
This would have been deserving of a fav point if it was still active. The lid comes off and I was able to add my name to a very tired log book.
I can't wait to catch up with everyone again at
[WA GOES BIG 2017](https://coord.info/GC6TD11) in Rockingham, WA.
Perths big event is on again.
**See you there**.
gum-nuts - Kyzabra found your cache Jess and Bobs Freeway Bike Hike 10 . The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Log soaked so could write on it. Lid rusty and hard to open...placed it out of the puddle to preserve cache. Nice work.
Out on an early morning bike ride to find some of the caches I have not yet stopped for. This cache has rusted shut and so I was not able to sign, I'm going to claim it anyways. TFTC gum-nuts.
With the 2500 find milestone within reach, I headed out today to grab these few that I have been leaving until now. As per jasenjanine's log entry, the lid is corroded on and I too didn't want to force it, so I took a photo of the cache instead. I hope it still counts as a find. Thanks gum-nuts.
The day was well and truly stinking hot by now, but I looked at my GPSr and continued on What's another 800 or so metres... Arriving close to GZ I was worried at first that I needed to be on the other side of that great big fence
I started searching and found it although unfortunately the container has rusted shut I tried to find anything to lever it but it would not budge.... grrrrr After some time I gave up as I was worried I would damage the camo... I hope that the owner will let me claim a find as I did try my best to open the container but did not want to wreck it TFTC gum-nuts.

Found it. Out to find 30 prior to the rain coming for the rest of the week, thought i would travel the fwy bike track and grab a few caches as well. The log needs replacing however I left a small piece of paper until it gets replaced. Cheers
Out on a very grand morning, with my buddy Tanzanite, caching exclusively by "pushy" today.
This bike hike was our second cycle trail of the day, having already completed the excellent Pioneers Trail already that morning.
This one is about an 18 km round trip, from a good parking location, a few hundred meters East of #1.
The cycle path is in excellent condition, is very flat and makes for an easy smooth ride.
The majority of the Caches were also straight forward, but still offered a good variety of containers and a very creative one thrown in !!!!
I actually found this Cache and signed the log book back in September 2011, whilst on a cache trip with FELIX but never logged it to claim my smiley, so have put that right today.
We had a great ride could of easily done another 10 !!!!
Thanks for all the Caches and the exercise.

Mr & Mrs Felix out on pushbikes for the day. (albeit electric ones)
This was the last of the series for us today, having done 11 previously by car.
Mr Felix picked up the host and discounted it, whilst Mrs Felix searched the other side of the path. She soon returned and said, didn't you look here?
It did help, she had found a previous hide of yours the same!

Found this on proper bikes, none of that electric stuff for us (psst. where do I get me one?)
Decided to put the Giant Road bike to good use this morning and went for a little ride to find J&B Freeway Bike Hike caches. An easy find SL TFTC
We enjoyed looking for caches in this series - there was variety and good exercise as we completed the hunt on foot. This particular cache was an excellent hide although in the process of extracting the cache we distrubed a very large centipede who became rather irate. TFTC gum-nuts
Nearly there! A quick find is a good find i say and that it was. Spotted by the missus we were on our way to the final cache

2 to go, 2 to go. Yeah, my body is celebrating that fact. Geoson and I both loved the hide on this one. I pointed him in a direction and he soon found the cache. With a big grin I must say. This hide was the first one he told Geomum about when she picked us up, but that is a later story. Nice hide, nice find and away we were going again. Easy, all downhill from here.
Thanks for the cache gum-nuts
Cheers

As we approached GZ we thought we had co-ords wrong as there is nothing here to hide a cache. Well. Clever camo. Thanks gum-nuts.
Apparently, this was still in place, and I'm blind! But I feel half justified in my previous DNF, because it was on the wrong side of the wall. Seems that every bike rider on the bike path was in that area though, as four different people stopped to ask if I was OK....and I'm standing there...you'll understand when you get there!!
TFTH gum-nuts, I've enjoyed this series.

The cache was exactly where it was hidden, it is just that they have bricked up the gap that was there! I have moved the cache to the right side of the wall, the new co-ords are-
S 32 degrees 21.763
E 115 degrees 50.035

Hmmmm......I'm not convinced this one is still in place. My GPS put it about 2 metres the other side of the limestone wall. I backtracked to BH9, and rode up the other side of the wall (sign on gate says No Entry ). Nothing there that I could find, except dollops of limestone coloured mortar. As I looked up the cache to log this visit, the satellite image shows bike path access from Sixty Eight Road - but there isn't now! After leaving and going back to BH9 to ride up to BH11, I noticed something on TOP of the wall while riding up the path, so came back and climbed up on a fence post to look - still nothing . Resolved to find Settle Down instead, to make it 10 Gum-nuts caches for the morning.

The first of some of this series that I was able to complete today. It had me somewhat stumped for a while, but persistence won the day. Thanks for the hunt gum-nuts.
Definitely my favourite of the series...who would have thought eclipse tins would become so useful?....great job gum-nuts
We parked here and headed down to number 11. Geokid jnr lasted the ride to number 11 and back before we had to ring Grandad to come and pick her and the geodogs up. She did however love the short ride.
A tricky clever hide. After a few minutes searching we had this one. Signed the log. TFTH
Hmm that looks odd. turns out to be the camo on the cache container. Good job on this one, thanks for the hide.
This was the second one of this series I did by car.
Interesting hide. Found without trouble.
*FTF* was about 2pm
