This weekend, I joined gridge98 on a trip to Eyre Peninsula, primarily visiting Port Lincoln and its surroundings. We saw its famous marina full of trawlers, and we also ended up visiting Coffin Bay and enjoyed fresh oysters. A nice weekend with weather, and certainly a great vicinity to see.
After having a successful day yesterday, we awoke with motivation and optimism for the day that was ahead of us. However after having our first geocache find, a rock had hit the vehicle's oil sump, leaving the car inoperable and requiring the car to be towed to a mechanic in Port Lincoln. The morning was then spent addressing the vehicle's repair plan, and then trying to salvage the remainder of our weekend's plans. We walked around the centre of Port Lincoln, before finding a hire vehicle for us, and then the afternoon was spent driving around the area. It was interesting seeing Port Lincoln's marinas and also caught glimpse of the shark cages. We ended up drowning our sorrows in the evening (whilst celebrating gridge98's birthday) at the craft brewery, which was probably a highlight of the day.
With our vehicle inoperable and trying to figure out how to get a hire car, we made a walk to this archived cache that was within the vicinity. Unfortunately after having a diligent search around the various hidey holes, we couldn't locate any signs of this cache. Perhaps it has been cleaned up already. Thanks anyway wheres wolly for the cache placement.

FOUND IT!!! its a challenge but its still there. found at night. TFTC not sure why its been archived.
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been longer than 28 days since the last reviewer note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 28 days), just contact us (by email) once the cache is in place, and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

I found this with mummy and daddy and my sister while we were having a holiday in Port lincoln
We found this, but unfortunately geo daughter knocked the nano into the post which became out of reach. Due to travelling I have very limited tools to extract the cache. So very sorry about this. Once we get back to the tent I will see what else I have tool wise which might help the extraction

Been over this area so many times now and still nothing. Time to call it in as dnf and move on...
To busy I felt like a muggle more than the muggles themselves. I think I know where it is maybe? Or maybe not
Great Memories because this is where the Salvos used to be.

didn't find this one may need to be checked again by owner if the next cacher can't find it, but we looked very thoroughly even climbing to search up high.
A quick find luckily there were no muggles around because its a Sunday afternoon. Could be tricky on weekdays!
Hi Darrel,
You can enable it yourself if you like but as you have asked I shall enable it for you.

Bloody nanos. Spawn of Satan. Burn down the nano factory and exterminate anyone who sells nanos.
Freddo didn't take the drive thru option to go to Maccas. He walked. I cached the cache, well I should say I tried to.
I could not see the sucker. Of course I could not. It was a nano.

PS, I did not invent that phrase. But it's catching on

Could not find this one had to leave as too many muggles using this as a short cut. Not anywhere near where we thought it should be coordinates atke us down the road from where we thought the great memories used to be.
