Fantastic. Dropped of a 20 year geocache travel bug coin brought from USA and picked up a new travel bug headed to the UK. Will get it about 10,000 miles away to the east coast of the USA soon
Well done. Favorite point! Visiting from USA and on a driving adventure starting in Melbourne. I believe this is my first find in ACT. Headed to Canberra then the blue mountains Found 3 TB inside and swapped for 3 that I brought from the states Not sure about the clue and a 2nd cache but this was very easy to find and the coordinates within 10 feet for me using iPhone app
Stopped on to drop some TBs. Surprised this was still on the unfound list fir me.
Great cache! Lots of travel bugs checked in, looking like a very full hotel
Due to the public holiday, work finished early today and I decided to take advantage of this and the extra hour of sunlight, granted by Daylight Savings Time kicking in, to go for a caching frolic up Northside. You know that saying: Its always in the first place you look? That unfortunately wasnt quite true for me this afternoon The hint threw me off, admittedly, as I found the cache pretty much straight away, ignored it and walked past it so many times thinking it was the GCA you had warned against - Ive never GCAd before, is it obvious? - I was thinking that the object you said it was not near was the object that the cache was in fact near, and that some cache creep must have occurred in the time the cache had been out. It was only after finding the actual object youd warned against and realising it was much bigger that I decided to actually crack the cache open and cross referenced the names inside the logbook, only to find that it was the right one all along ???Today was the day I finally dealt with the four trackables Ive had for months and keep forgetting to move on. Ive dropped all four of them in the Day Spa so they can feel rejuvenated and ready for further travel. Thanks for the cache, and a TB hotel at that!
TFTC darksidedan. Great cache hide. Love when some effort has gone into placing a cache. Down from the GC for a few days. FP from me.
Dropped by this cache on my way out of Hall after an exciting morning of caching! Was very confused at first and the hint got me even more confused, but I found it in the end. Log signed, returned and hidden as found!Thank you DSD for the cache!
Sir_spectre and I are visiting ACT, NSW and Victoria on holiday. Unfortunately, due to family circumstances we had to cancel our Mega adventure, so this trip was to make up for it.Many caches found and any that needed some love got it.Thanks
Target cache since this is the 10th fav cache in the ACT. fav point.Found with Mogni. Myself and mogni are headed off to canberra on the " I missed the Capital GeoBash Mega " holiday, since last minute family problems came in to play and we had to adjust our plans by a few weeks. On the way over we targeted multi's, wherigo's and puzzles to make sure we had 25 in each or at least close to that total ( or more ) as possible, getting as many new New South Wales LGA's as possible, the 17th most favourite point NSW cache and every cache size in New South Wales. In the ACT it was getting 2 of the 5 oldest letterboxes, oldest wherigo in Australia, 2nd oldest earthcache ( with a side trip to get the oldest earthcache of course ), and ACT oldest cache too. I also hosted a CITO and planned on getting every different cache type i could and eevry different cache size as well. I also needed 9 more virtuals this trip to get my virtual count over 100. Finally canberra was far enough away from from house to complete the well aged well travelled cacher 0 to 1000 kms with a cache every 10 km's ( i only need 7 more caches to complete )Leaving the ACT it was going via Victoria to get there last active web cam cache and slowly getting a total of 20 finds in each LGA i passed through if i had enough time plus also hosting a CITO in Victoria as well. A busy 11 days. Trust me by the end of the holiday you would have thought the 6 meter ladder weighed more than 13 kg's to amount of times it was used or carried up hills or over creeks. If your cache was found with a broken container/lid it was replaced or if the log was full it was replaced or a extra log if the container was big enough ( except for nano's, do your own maintenance on nano's.
Here in Canberra for the Mega and we found your cache while exploring the area.We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty.Enjoyed caching in this area, cache and contents were in good condition. Many thanks to all CO's for your cache placement.
Another great day out with HansandLinda and Wollaston exploring the northern suburbs of Canberra picking up a few desirous geocaches and a few more we happened to pass by. The selection of geocaches in Canberra is incredible and we are spoilt for choice! Thanks for find #6042Took nothing, left ["Sheep Mountain (NM)" Green Jeep Travel Bug](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?TB=TB12Y4X) trackable
Found while attending the Mega and out with HansandLinda, MeandDe. A great day out. Another great day for caching. TFTC DARKSIDEDAN
TFTC DARKSIDEDAN your cache The Barton Highway TB Hotel & Day Spa that we found today. We are in Canberra for the fun and games of the Mega. Another day in the National Capital. After a morning event we returned to camp for breakfast. We hatched a plan with Wollaston and MeAndDe to point the vehicle and see where we ended up. We had a few targets in mind before turning to Hall. A pleasant village with much history and numerous multis. We made a good haul and returned to camp tired and happy. Find Count: 19499
Having arrived in Canberra, we headed to the Mega HQ to complete our signing duties and registration, pick up our show bag, and catch up with many old friends; then, it was out to taste some of the array of caches on offer in the Australian Capital Territory.Day 2 and I were out solo caching. With this in mind, we stopped quite a bit on the journey to find many caches and endeavoured to get closer to qualifying for more Challenge caches. We will use some relatively generic logs with the sheer number of logs we need to complete after the Mega. We are tired and need more brain power to do much more than that.We want to thank all the cache owners for placing the caches for us to find. Unless otherwise noted, we found all caches in excellent condition.Thank you, DARKSIDEDAN, for this Traditional cache.
Day #2 Geobashing After arriving in Yass overnight, OzHockeyChick and I decided to tackle some challenges and Wherigos on our way into Canberra. There were plenty of unscheduled stops and diversions along the way to just grab this one.Stopped by to grab this one and found it as soon as we arrived. Cleverly hidden from unsuspecting eyes.A big thanks goes to DARKSIDEDAN for taking the time to add The Barton Highway TB Hotel & Day Spa to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Looking for caches to find when visiting Victoria? Why not check out the geocaching lists available on the [Geocaching Victoria Website](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists/). There are plenty to choose from including all of the previous nominees and winners of the Victorian Cache of the Year Awards.
Found the other cache that is in the hint. Found some weird mechanical thing that might have been the cache but I'm not sure.
Spotted this hotel and decided to swap TB. My Aunty has ridden some of the Bicentennial Trail up north. Thanks for the cache
Had to stop by this larger cache to drop Bully the massive antelope trackable I've had for a while - couldn't find a cache big enough for him!Hope he continues his Australian travels after some well-earned time at the day spa!
Out and about near Hall today and stopped for a quick walk to find this cache. Cache is a little damp inside, but not too bad. Have taken one of the TBs to move along.
A quick find by torchlight, and made a new friend! Thanks for the cache DARKSIDEDAN
Was geocaching for 12 hours straight today, in an attempt to (a) beat my record for caches found in a single day, (b) beat my record for caches found in a month and (c) continue to beat my record for longest caching streak. If my mathematics is correct (doubtful), I believe I achieved all of these objectives – woohoo! Did a loop walk from Hall, up to One Tree Hill, and through Casey, before picking up a few addition caches at Gold Creek.

Day 4 of Chook's week in Canberra. Today she took herself back to Hall and Gold Creek to finish exploring the areas she missed yesterday. And in particular this cache the walking group passed while hiking between the two towns yesterday. Cache presented not quite as originally set up but CO aware. Will definitely add to the favourite points though, for the hide concept, being a TB Motel (even though no checkins or departures today), and for the amazing prompt service by the CO. TFTC DARKSIDEDAN.
Stopped here to drop at TB that I have carried for too long
Thank you for setting up this hotel

Last find while out with [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H) . We parked nearby and walked. It took a little while for GPSs to settle, C read out the clue and we concentrated there and then spotted the hide. It was a bit muddy but the inner container and log were fine. Log stamped and all replaced and we headed back for lunch. TFTC.
#3 for the day with [@trodectus](http://coord.info/PR8JTE0) . Parked nearby and started serching about, read hint and zeroed in for the find. Log signed and returned. TFTC
Today this cache was checked by the CO and is in working order. The cache is ready to find. New inner container added to protect the Trackables that are dropped off here
Found after a very helpful hint from darksidedan!!

Chippymick64 taking a travel bug with him back to Sydney and then on to Diggers Beach Coffs Harbour for a new adventure!!

TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Thank you for the assistance
Geocachpro losing his mind that I’m making us stop again and we have not even left Canberra (“But there are travel bugs”). Couldn’t see anything at GZ and the hint made no sense to me at all. Had a scan about and notice something obvious. Picked up some Travel bugs including one I brought to Melbourne three years ago. It can go back to London now. Dropped one off.
Thanks Dan and goodbye Canberra.
Thanks Dan and goodbye Canberra.

Out today to do the whole of section 4 of the CCT. Started off well and was collecting a lot of caches. However, I did get a bit carried away and before you know it is 8pm. Had to quickly ride home to be in time for dinner. I did have a really good time though and picked up 20 caches on the way and rode over 55km. Good day. TFTC!
Have tried to find this a couple of times with no success. However, today I found it immediately, coordinates were a bit out previous times. The slugs REALLY like the cache. TFTC

Cool find while collecting some other caches! Loci612 told me what this cache used to be & such a shame I didn’t get to see it but still a nice find!
Found on a favourites tour with Geogeneve. The slugs have well and truly taken up house here!
Quick find with Just_Jess! We must have walked right by this one on our CT adventure last year. Hotel has a good set up, everything inside is dry despite the exterior having taken on a bit of water - and some other inhabitants! TFTC
Decided to head out of the city today and poke around Hall
Can’t say I’m a fan of TB hotels as they tend to get raided and, predictably, this hotel had the Vacancy sign out. Cool hide and the hint helped. I popped in a few trackables to rest.
TFTC DSD Dropping off a FAVE.

Super large TB hotel, just a pity all the rooms were vacant, even if the TB inventory reflected otherwise, TFTC DARKSIDEDAN
Nothing like a bit of R ‘n’ R after bopping around for some caches
And there was a pen provided so I was in luck

Quick find, I need to come back once I find my trackable at home to send it on it's journey.
TFTC a bit hard but seen this type before. A good challenge all the same. Log signed and replaced. No one home today.
Find 233 for the tribe.
Parked in the proposed area and made my way across to GZ. A sneaky hide for a TB hotel which I found but not before finding a baby brown snake. The third snake of our caching career.
There were meant to be two trackables in here but alas nothing.
I did drop off Rodriguez here though. Rodriguez the Panda Bear, the first Panda Bear I have met called Rodriguez. Have fun little buddy.
TFTC DSD. I think our first DSD cache but I somehow think it will not be the last!

Found without issue today. Log is a little damp but still signable. Thank you DSD.
Fantastic cache - took us a little while to find this one but once found, we were very impressed! Thanks for this one DSD!
Last day in Canberra and time to go after some cahes with high favopoints. This one was second one today. Quick find, didn't leave and grab any TBs. Tftc!
Had a trackable we’ve had with us for a while due to Covid restrictions. Spending the weekend in Canberra so looked for a hotel to drop it. Thanks for placing a cache here!
TFTC wanted to find this one for a while. Not many TBs here, mustn't be traveling in the pandemic! I dropped off one and started another on the next leg of its journey
How on earth my 8yo son found this, I don’t know. Looking forward to coffee in Hall!
I drove down to Canberra from Sydney for the day to do some mountain biking Mt Stromlo. What a beautiful sunny Friday! I have taken some time of geocaching and now I'm back into it I decided to grab some smilies while I was down for the day!
Before heading down I decided to narrow my finds to the most favourited. After pulling over I walked over to GZ and spotted the cache straight away. What a good idea! I took a couple of TB's and left one inside that had spent too much time bouncing between QLD and NSW - thought it'd be better here!
Find 5/5 today. TFTC

Out on a caching blitz with muppet95, today our hit list contained Lab adventures, mystery caches, letterboxes, virtuals,a wherigo or two and a few high difficultly trads also tossed into the mix,we began our day at the top end of town as we cached down towards the university, across to Mt Ainslie with the adventures also taking us everywhere else all over and in-between before heading back home again,it was a big day out having ourselves an excellent time visiting some unique and interesting places and finding alot of fun, challenging and creative hides along the way.
Stopped in here and dropped a heap of TBs
Thanks DSD for the cache

Teamed up with Bonfire7 for a day of caching in Canberra. We had a very successful day outdoors, tackling a selected list of caches. Thanks to all the Cache Owners for their contributions to this recreational activity.
We walked around in circles and nearly missed it. Thanks DSD!

Found late in the day after a stressful last few minutes getting an assignment done just before when it was due! Thought logging some trackables might lessen the stress...but none to be found in this hotel! TFTC!
