I decided to take a drive to Barossa Valley to collect a few caches. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, and not many people around, possibly because of a working day. I discovered a few lovely places along the way, thank you for bringing me out here!! The cache does not really hold as intended any more, may need to be checked.
Found the cache but did not realize i was standing on an ant pile. So i had to retreat. Thanks for bringing me to this delightful park. I got the goat.
Had solved this one a while ago, but the container was missing back then. Had plenty of spare time on my hands whilst my car was being serviced so strolled down to visit the goats on this fine day. Lovely quick find. Cache #2754.
1 Mystery Cache and many Trad's later it's high-time for a Multi me thinks [^] and this was the one Stopped off at the Listed Co-ords and gathered the info needed from the plaque. It wasn't long and I was off to GZ where a quick find was made [^] Loved the structure at GZ SL at 11:19 on Sat 5 Aug 2017. Tummy is grumbling and I must be off to grab me a bite to eat TFTC DJC3575 and for showing me this lovely area of Tanunda with it's quaint cottages and narrow streets The cache and contents are all good and dry
A very quick and simple multi. Had all the questions written up, grabbed the info and retreated from the rain to work out the co-ords. Back out of the car and a very short walk to GZ. A nice area and especially loved the nearby cottages, very quaint.

The rain started to fall as 3LG and I got out of the car.
After gaining the info required we retired to the car to work co-ords out.
Off we headed for a quick find.

New cache container and logbook placed out this afternoon.
The new camouflage container will continue to change over time. A stone paper logbook also placed inside of it and will be suitable for writing on even if it's damp or wet.
Happy geocaching!

Cool place and concept for a multi. I hope the owner steps up and replaces the log: looking forward to coming back!
Has been missing for over 12 months with promises of replacements, but nothing done.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

We did this one today and had a bit of fun but should have read the logs because the final is not there. Perhaps this cache should be taken off line while the CO makes the new cache.
Didn't realise this cache was out of action at the moment until I found a lonely fixing. Read the logs, which quickly clarified the situation. No matter, I have the final now, so can have another look once the cache is back in place. Great spot.
Has several DNF's needs urgent attention Spent some time on this and cache didn't show
Had a good look. Also found what appears to be a magnet but nothing else. Great artwork though.
We are pretty sure this one has dissappeared as we did find one very small magnet that looked like something might have been stuck to it. We left the magnet where it was.
No luck here today with three of us looking. Not sure if I should hope that the cache is missing and we aren't goating crazy as many nannies before us have found it with no problems or that we are just very blind this afternoon. Maybe if we had stopped at some of the wineries on the way we would have had more luck!!
We will be back, and despite our blindness we loved visiting the square with all it's history. Thanks for the hunt today

If you read the hint it's easy enough to work out without having to calculate the waypoint. Thank you.
We headed to Tanunda to spend time with our daughter and a friend who has newly converted from muggle to geocacher - congratulations to Rob for his wise choice of a new hobby. Will it consume him as it consumes others or will he be able to control the urge to cache, cache and cache some more.
As this is the first multi that Rob has done, we were very pleased that it was a simple, straight forward multi. The muff1 team spotted the cache container with great cameo, we then stood back and waited for the other two teams to spot the hide.

Today I checked my statistics and found out that I missed to log some cache on my phone, but ticked them on my paper.
As I used only my phone to write the logs I still needed to log these few cache.
This was one of my finds today of totally more then 50 searched and 50 found.
I did a bike tour around Tanunda and Nuriootpa, in total I made about 53 Kilometer.
I will made the log entry most of the time the same, this should not show any disliking to the cache or the cache owner, it´s just that this are to many caches for me to remember
I would like the cache owner for there work, thank you very much.

Spending a few days in the area for a work conference and picking up some caches while here. Love the goats. Thanks
Out for an afternoon with Purrfect Di and geoson Sebastbat and couldn't resist stopping by a few caches
Goats herded without the need for a goatherd
Log surprisingly dry considering lid had rusted right off!

What an interesting Area. I had a fair idea what to look for but it still took some time as the Camo was that good.

This type of cmulti I like - learn something, quick easy calcs, and a good hide at the end. I had a hide just like it once.
once questions were answered it didn't take long to find, love the camo nicely done. Lid missing but log fine if kept on side so water doesn't get in.
The last cache that Theshattells needed to do in Tanunda.
Worked out the GZ and had the cache in hand in no time.
Thank you DJC3575+KKM

Already got a smiley on this cache a while ago. Just dropping in with a German geocoin we've been carrying. I wanted to photograph it at this nearby cottage that my ancestors lived in.
A nice little multi that took us to a piece if Tanunda's history.
A well kept park that is a lil oasis amongst the housing.

Thanks

Popped by to grab this one after attending a nearby geoevent in Nuriootpa. Great camo...many thanks for the hide DJC3575+KKM. [^][^][^]
Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
We currently have our caravan parked up in Nuriootpa whilst our car is hopefully repaired (fingers crossed) at Toyota in Tanunda.
We decided to head into Tanunda today to go to the bike shop and pick up a new light for one of the geobikes.
Visited some interesting local parks and also discovered some great local history.
Thanks DJC3575+KKM for allowing us to use your cache to explore this area today.

First find for the afternoon........planning a short walk around Tanunda to walk off the yummy scones we had at the Courtyard Café. Quickly worked out the new coords and cache in hand soon after. TFTC DJC3575+KKM.
Out on a walk with Philip and his son. Tanunda has so much history and since Dale wasn't at school today he had a history lesson and Philip and I kept an eye on all the old homes.
Excellent cache with some very interesting local history

Found this cache while in SA to attend Oz Mega. Travelled today from Berri to Nooriootpa. Enjoyed the variety of caches along the way, the many novel hides and the scenery. Thanks for your cache DJC3575+KKM
Out and about for the day in the beautiful Barossa Valley. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Maggie Beers and found some interesting caches on our travells.

This cache has been missing the lid for years but works fine without it as its protected. A replacement will be made available soon
Fourth stop with Elf and Muggle friend on our way to Tanunda to Barossa Bowl Land and Mini Golf...naturally part of the day was for caching. Elf and Muggle Friend, who was by now quickly becoming addicted, found this. Loved this one!
This was a special location for geowife, as she had visited this spot many years before in the company of a bunch of students learning German. The location was much changed however and much more manicured than it used to be.
It was getting dark and we didn't have time to computer the location, so I just used my geo-sense and found the cache in a few minutes. Always get a thrill out of that.
The cache is not in great shape, but at least the log was dry. A new container wouldn't hurt.
Thanks DJC3575+KKM. Interesting history.

Lovely little square that we've never noticed on our visits to Tanunda before. Did the calculations and found the goat. As previously mentioned, the lid is gone from the cache, but amazingly the log sheet stays in even when the container is replaced facing down to keep the rain out - so it will last (just) for a little while longer.
The cache is still very functional, but unfortunately the lid appears to be missing and the zip-lock bag is torn asunder. Fortunately, there weren't any spiders in there when we visited today
It hasn't been too wet today, despite the forecast, and we were able to venture out to claim today's "Geocaching Get Outdoors Day" souvenir in preparation for 31 Days of Geocaching in August. The plan for August is in place and ready to be implemented.
Truly fantastic camouflage. It blends in perfectly.
Great cache. Thanks for highlighting this great location.

Our first multi but didn't need the clues... Scan the area, it's a little too obvious.
Cache needs repair as the lid is missing & it was getting quite damp.
Nice history lesson though.

So.... it was a very hot and sticky night at the camp ground. Since we were up too early to go to the cellar doors, we headed off to find some local caches.
