Yep, been here before too. Not sure what date, as cache is gone. Was sometime last year.
I can tell the owner where I found it if that helps prove I found it?
Thanks, nice square.

[8)] Probably a good reason why we couldn't find it!!!
Nice night time hunt nevertheless....

Sorry folks,It has gone. we will archive it as we have a couple of better ones to set in the area soon.... 12drawer
we will check this one out tomorrow and make sure all is well with it... will update you soon. team 12drawer.
By all accounts this looked like it should be an easy find. With 4 of us looking and still no joy we left thinking it must've been muggled ...Either that or we were REALLY blind today! Disappointed.
After a rest stop, this was the nearest cache we hadn't found yet .
Quickly spotted . TNLNSL.
Thanks for another one 12Drawer.

No muggles so finding the cache was straight forward - very quaint town. Thanks 12drawer
Found this cache easily enough. Staying nearby with friends in Macclesfield. Have introduced them to Geocaching, they quite amazed at how many are in the area that they regularly drive past. This was the start of a days geocaching.Visiting from France
Two workers having smoko near hide so had to be sneaky to retrieve this one

I was doing all the Geocaches in the area today....I visited GZ 3 times due to Muggles using the playground. On my 3rd trip back, GZ was relatively quiet apart from an old couple who had whipped out their metal detector to search the near by Playground (Do kids rally get that much pocket money??) Easy find after a quick sweep of the perimeter.

As the mercury climbed through 40°C in Adelaide, and I was keeping my cool in Meadows, Ingrid challenged me to get out and get some caching done.
Although I'm not _hardcore_, it was a challenge I couldn't not accept.
The nearest concentration of caches not too far away were at Macclesfield, so here I headed ...
I didn't want to be in the sun for too long so this was a quick - out of the car, locate, sign, rehide and back to the a/c car.

A nice easy find, even with muggles just packing up their Australia day BBQ's.
I'm surprised that no one has ever used this structure before for a cache!
I usually associate this town with being cold, wet, and foggy, as it's usually winter when I'm here, but today was just a perfect spring day, in the middle of summer.

rang for extra help (answering machine) and ran out of batteries, but in the end my muggle friend and I did it ourselves anyways. TFTC, Voogoofish.
While Mrs E and the little Miss E's attend the swim meet, Mr T and I went caching. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Mr S found it after Mrs S had walked past. There was a couple with a dog in the middle of the grassed area but they took no notice of us.
Thanks 12drawer

Found during a raid on the Macclesfield caches. First one for the morning. Thanks 12drawer!
Second time here. I missed this last time?
Could see it from some distance but rehid it a bit better.

Maccymaniacs strike again!!!
It was hard to find this one. It may well have been that the day before it had rained and that davenport was underwater.
In the end joe was the one who found it, but there was a price to pay..... A SHOWER!!!

Like several other loggers, had to approach the cache from above as there was a "lake" of water below. No muggles about so it was an easy find without having to check out who was looking at you. No food or music here today.TFTC.
Finally! Despite the 100 mls of water surrounding the area and the absolutely sodden grass leading up to GZ.
At present you will need gum boots to keep the shoes and socks dry.
Hard to see, but it is there
Thanx for the thrill of aquaplaning, surfing and sliding all in one great adventure It was humerous

Felt more like the band playing on the Titanic as there was so much water around sinking us into the oval.
Cheers from the Posspet Boys

An easy find despite the need for some stealth as a muggle dad and son played with their dog nearby! (the dog looked like he wanted to get in on the geo caching!!!) TFTC
Like sushilord, I had to approach GZ from above due to rather damp surroundings [^]
Cheers, TFTC.
Cheers, TFTC.
The hardest part about finding this cache was getting access while keeping the shoes and feet dry. The overnight rain meant that there was plenty of water around GZ.
Thanks for the hide 12drawer.
Thanks for the hide 12drawer.
hi all. i think the damage was already there when we placed the cache, you are close but not quite there..... i have checked the cache and it is still in the correct hiding place, and intact with all its tape in place (so i'm not sure what the other tape is from....) Happy Hunting... 12drawer
There was a bit of black tape hanging. Part of the structure was damaged - don't know if this had any bearing on my not finding the cache.
First attempt thwarted by a couple of muggles sunning themselves on the cricket pitch. It was a very pleasant winter's afternoon. Returned later to make the find. Thanks for the cache and hunt.
Thanks for the interesting history about three brothers. . Found it easily. Nice little Town.
Thanks 12drawer for the cache.
Thanks 12drawer for the cache.
Easy find with a good hint. Nice to follow some illustrious geocachers! Tnlnsl. Tftc.
An easy find at 13:00.
Davenport is also a well known name in Burnside where there is a Devereux Road and a Davenport Terrace.

You could stand on the stage here and say I found it. But I was all quiet and snuck off. No one knew a thing. Clear skies!
With the finding of this cache Freddo has found caches on all 366 days of the year. July four was the one remaining day. Strangely I had placed a cache on Independance Day but never found one.
Was about to head home from caching Murray Bridge when some new caches came up around Macclesfield and Victor Harbor so the FTF hunt was on as well as grabbing some other caches on the way.
Interesting location and a virgin logbook to boot. Yay a joint *FTF* with Honeysucker. TFTC.
