Day 6 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc. We are staying in New Brighton and today was all about washing and domestic chores. Still we managed to grab a couple of caches and do the whole lap of the swamp.Another beautiful sunny day to be out and about again. CC you have really turned on the nice weather for us. Thanks for contributing to the fun
Day six of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris.Staying in Christchurch and spent the day being domestic (with a few caches on the side!)We did the whole loop walk, and a very nice walk it was too.A great lookout at GZ.Thanks, Robmc.
Ambling around the lovely walkway with a muggle friend; I was really pleased to find this cache today - I had looked for it when I was a newbie & had no luck. The hint seems much more specific now !
Out for a spot of geocaching in Christchurch while down here on holiday! My brother kindly offered to drive me out here!Quick find by my bro!Very keen to come here again, next visit, when I have solved the puzzles here!Need to explore more of the Travis Wetlands!
I found the hiding spot last time I was in Christchurch, but the cache was missing. So a very quick find for me today. Thanks for replacing.
On a lovely walk with my muggle friend Ann and Piwaka54. We have been doing the Ad Lab as we went around. Love the info on the website. TFTC
Found the container floating in water - couldnt find a hook to put it back onto. Perhaps its fallen off?
Great finds thanks. We enjoyed getting out in the sunshine today while visiting Christchurch. Such a cool boardwalk and lookout to explore.
Wasn't looking for it as I'm doing the adventure lab here. However, glad I checked!!! Easy find with instructions. Tftc!!! Good bonus!!!
Yes It has gone,so we've replaced it with another container.Happy Caching from us Wombles
Very pleased to find this after a past dnf. Glad to feel movement when reaching in. One never likes to get caught with ones butt in the air.
We went there this afternoon and found it out on the track by the Seat We have put in a new Logbook, and it is back on the Hook Just reach under at the corner Happy Hunting
Looked in the right area - GPS at 1m and was at the right hint area, put my hand down to feel around and my hand went into water, did some wondering about and spied the cache behind the leg of the seat, it's rather exposed and may need some CO maintenance. Log soaked, but did manage to somehow sign it very carefully. TFTC!
Had no idea this was in such a favorite spot of ours! Monster Ollie hopes you enjoy this cache as much as he did! Took the golf tee, left something fast. Kobe Kenobi, Clueless Kalia, Monster Ollie.
The cache is very wet inside and the log is mushy. Could do with some refreshing.

Back down in Christchurch for another unexpected visit to Burwood, so made sure to also grab some caches whilst here.
A nice quick find here. Signed and replaced as found. TFTC

Was juuuuust about to give up when I gave one last good reach and success! Excellent hiding spot. Poor cache lives in fear of drowning
Down in Christchurch for the weekend visiting family (Team_Gaters) and found this cache when we were in the area doing the Adventure Lab. Thanks for the cache.
A tired logbook but still signable. I was here in 2011 with KR so it was good to come back and claim it for myself. Thanks Wombles B.J&T
A nice wee evening wander to collect a couple of waypoints for the new AdLab and picked this up on the way for my daily.
Day #231 consecutive days of caching
Great hide.
Logbook is a bit damp but still writable.
Thanks

Surprisingly how many muggles are walking here in the middle of the afternoon. Had to time it well. Tftc . Nice view from the lookout!
It's been a few weeks since my last great Sat morning exped. Weather and work have conspired against me. But no excuses this morning. Never walked through here before. Nothing short of brilliant. Thanks for bringing me here...Cheers!
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up in Auckland but have popped down to Christchurch for a long weekend & a friend’s Birthday party … thought it would be rude not to check out some caches while here … this one turned out to be an easy find … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,884 for us.
Took longer to find than it should have! Great walk and lots of muggles out enjoying the afternoon. TFTC
It checked a couple of potential spots before coming across the hiding place. Nicely hidden. Thanks
Found it with son, he was a bit nervous grabbing it but was ok in the end. Unfortunately left pen in car but took photo of log
A quick find with Tregearp and a local geocaching cat that seemed to know all about the hide. All in good order. Signed log and replaced as found. Thanks Wombles B.J&T for the cache.
Really nice wander with SJT_NZ around the wetland, took a photo of the black cat that muggled us from the lookout. Cat was super friendly and enjoyed the cache hide.
We had a lovely day out with busy paws. Had solved puzzles during lockdown so was fun to get out and find them and others in the area. This is a lovely walk we hadn't done before. Thanks for bringing us here and the cache WomblesB.J&T.
A quick find on a pleasant afternoon and I detoured on my way home from Burwood Hospital
I have a h&s course in the city on Monday Tuesday so thought I'd come up a day early for a bit of caching...
Systematically tidying up the Brighton area .
Had to check a couple of spots before putting my hand on it ...picked up tb tftc

Team BOP on another crazy mission to the South Island. Lockdown gave us a lot of free time that we directed into Canterbury’s many Geo-Arts and with the Auckland 2020 Mega postponement, Christchurch was an easy decision. Team BOPs current incarnation is DavidsonClan, NZFlossy, McJandals and myself and we’ve signed all the logs as Team BOP to save time and log space.
So it's Labour Weekend 2020, it’s a numbers mission and we have a lot of caches to choose from today. This cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords, a straight forward placement and a good hint. An enjoyable loop to which I'm surprised there were more caches hidden - probably required more puzzle solving I suppose. Cheers Wombles B.J&T & TFTC

Nice day out, we enjoy a nice morning walk around, Last time when we came, we couldn't find it, today was an easy find, thanks for the cache, both container and logbook ar ein good condition.
Found, little night time stroll with the kids, have lived close by for couple of years and have done this walk many times. Not knowing we were passing this
It was a gorgeous sunny day today, perfect for a walk in this beautiful location. Many others were out and about, so we had to wait for our moment to make the quick find. TFTC!
With rustynz on a caching adventure to Christchurch. Discovering now that the wrong dates where written in the logs
Came for a walk along the boardwalk, suprised by the look out. Thanks Wombles-BBT

With rebel98 on a short trip away to Christchurch. All our dates written in the logs are wrong woops, luckily this online log is the correct date
We have just had a swim in the new pool complex at New Brighton, and what better way to finish the night, is to go for a walk along the boardwalk to the lookout. rebel98 was not expecting that!
A fun find, once we had the right corner, thanks Wombles-BBT for the hide and bringing us here.

Found without too much trouble. Bit damp but otherwise ok. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2377
Construction work is going on, and the track from the south is closed from mid February until mid May. So we were unable to go to search for it today.
The paper was a bit damp. Sitting over water not surprising really. Found it yesterday but did not have a pen.
The rain has subsided so we figured it was time to go out for a walk. Easy find in a great location.tftc
By hook or by crook! One hundred and one. You may have to look. Then a view of the sun.
Went for a walk after work and before dinner and this time we all went. Have tried to find this a couple of times now, but could never find it. Thought I looked everywhere (even checked hint and reversed it as we walk the other way around) and I had. Showed the bear part of nessybear1 how I checked (I am sometimes told off for not putting my hand into dark, creepy places - yes I have forgone caches like this) and where. Well guess what - guess I needed longer arms. Damn! Found, signed and replaced. Yay, finally ticked off. Thanks for placing.
Found by James on a pleasant walk around the Wetlands. Visiting family in Christchurch and this was a new area for us to explore.
Did a brief look here and missed it. Tried a few other places between muggles walking by before returning. Glad to get the smiley. Thank you.
Down here for the weekend to see my brother and with him wanting to do a run here and me happy to walk I gave myself a head start and started with this one. Nice and quiet on this little stretch and a quick find before moving onto the next. TFTC
I had about 3 hours to get from Kaiapoi to New Brighton, how convenient! A nice walk around the wetlands even though the temperature had dropped slightly by now. TFTC!!
Took some time to locate, mostly because we had to wait for muggles to pass. TFTC

This was one of those you always see on the map, it's quite close but there's never the opportunity to go and grab it. This one in particular because I usually go caching and walk the dog but this place is no-dogs...
But today had an opportunity coming back from a job. Realized I left the pen in the car when we were at GZ but there was a family who showed up with the words "Oh, is that a geocache!? Cool! We used to do that!" They lent me the only writing tool they had - a pink pencil. Better than nothing!

A quick find in the swamp. Nice walk but no time to do it all today.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
There are only a few places which fit the description in the hint, so the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
Took a break tonight and did this lovely walk around the Travis Wetlands. Enjoyed this cache - not the first spot that I looked at but not too difficult with the helpful hint. TFTC
In Christchurch for a few days visiting a sick family member at Burwood Hospital. Took time off for a walk and a cache! Found this one reasonably quickly after checking more than one ‘corner’. Continued on my walk and made it 95% of the way out to Mairehau Road before the walkway was blocked off because of repair work. Hadn’t seen the low-placed signs earlier on advertising the closure. Went back the way I’d come. The extra exercise wasn’t necessarily a bad thing! #1666. TFTC.
In Christchurch for the weekend with my partner and while she is doing a 2 day course I came up with her as it is the perfect time to log lots of caches and try to log 2000 before next year. TFTC
Nice easy find on a great day out. TFTH not sure how I missed this last time but it was getting dark that time. Great view from the tower and the sun came pout for me.
