Hi sgt.rios88,

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED**###

----------

Even though the 'Needs Archive' log of May/03/2021 is not appropriate and 'Dragons2010' has been advised of the 'Needs Archive' Guidelines and protocols, it is obvious that some action by the CO is required in regard to this cache.

###**A recent Needs Maintenance log has not actually been placed on this cache. so I am placing one with this log.**###

I’m not game to say this one isn’t there. There are so many places it could be and the prickly grass is as tall as I am... but the previous DNFs and 4 of us looking for 10mins doesn’t fill me with the confidence to continue.

Unable to locate

08-Apr-21
Couldn’t find this one, we even widened our search but couldn’t find it.

22-Nov-20
Looked for half an hour, messages about the cache varies, hint is apparently unhelpful and it’s been a year since the cache was last spotted. Owner of cache please let us know if it is still there and if coordinates need changing if so.

22-Nov-20
Couldn’t find it, I saw that this has been last found about a year ago, which raised the question on whether it was still there. This issue caused me to not put as much time into looking for it but 100% will in the future of verified to be still there.

09-Oct-20
Littl3Vix and I spent a good 20 minutes at least here, no cache to be found for us today

Found the cache... it’s not a magnetic key holder... that is very misleading.
It’s a small plastic container.
We found it after widening the search slightly.

Find # 8261

Found while up at the Gong event.

Seeing as I was still all alone after grabbing the mega geoart. With no messages on the phone from anyone needing or looking for me. I headed west, as I still needed to feed the smiley addiction. Also I was interested to see what the map would bring up.

Well from over the M31 I had a great selection.
A couple of oldies, a few nanos, some good short walks and all the time needed to do them in.
Also realized there was a couple of puzzles that were easily solved n grabbed in the area.

After spreading the search out I managed to get my hands on the cache.

Easy find! Cache is no longer magnetic

02-Oct-18
Took note of previous logs and ignored the hint and trusted the GPS which was spot on. Took longer to find than it should have though as the cache isn’t a magnetic key holder.
A train went past as I was here.

Out for the day caching with Oldmorty, down and around Picton. A great day was had.
Thanks for the cache

10-May-18
Another early start for a days caching with caching buddy marj01. The plan was to pick up where we left off last week and visit the towns of Camden South, Razorback, Thirlmere and Couridjah. Lots of caches were found quite quickly while some others took a little longer and a few we didn't find at all. Once again there were a few ingenous caches amongst the usual film canisters, mint tins and sistemas of varying shapes and sizes. Thank you to all the CO's for hiding and maintaining the caches visited today.

I had looked for this at the previous location without success so was pleased to find this one. Needed to read though some pervious logs to find it was no longer magnetic.

Double bonus and I saw the Sydney to Melbourne train and the rail motor come past when I was here.

#4856 (4 of 7 today)

Decided to head Picton way where there were a few ungrabbed multis that needed finding. Can't let that stand! Big Grin
Found all three multis I went for, and four other caches besides.
And noticed I'd come this way one day too early for the Festival of Steam. Pity.

Another pity was being close to GZ of a new cache - published less than an hour after I was nearby. Drat that frog!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Well, at least today's searches have all been quick so far... am I talking to soon? Not yet, as this was another quick one.
Got close but didn't spot it. But then my eye wandered and the container showed itself.

Completed signing duties and replaced.
And no trains went by while I was there.

fitzy_1965 and I headed out for a caching weekend with the aim of camping at Wingello so we could attend the 'Let's Wing It, Again' event Sunday morning. We decided to pick up some out of the way caches between Moss Vale and Nowra on Saturday and then up around Picton on Sunday.

I'd suggest watching out for the barred wire too! I nearly stepped on it. Cache quickly signed and returned. No trains today.

15,333. Found during a caching meander this weekend with minniek.

After attending the Lets Wing It Again Camping Event we headed out to grab some more caches before heading home tonight. This was the next find of the day. Parked nearby and walked up for a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.

Thanks to the COs !!

Out today finding some caches with Brewmaker around Picton, Thirlmere, Tahmoor and Razorback.
This was one that we found on our way back. Parked the car nearby and then headed over towards gz.
Read the hint and looked in the obvious spot, but no cache. Brewmaker then followed his nose further away and this one was found, though didn't quite match the info. Signed the log and then replaced it all as found. TFTC Big Grin

OCW GeodudeAU around this area today. The trail along the Bargo River was a lovely hike, with only our detours to go hunting for caches in the bush that made our journey longer than it would normally take. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these hides in such a nice place.

Took a bit of time as the description says "a magnetic key holder on a fence near rail line". But it is now a plastic container lying on the ground. Coords are good, but an adjustment in the cache page would be helpful to future finders! TFTC

Got to GZ and the train men in there trucks and Ute decided to come up the road near the GZ, had to wait for him to close gate while I’m looking dodgy. Took a little abit to find but found it in the end.

Went to watch my eldest play footy but he was running water, so decided to find a few in Picton on my way home. Found six on a glorious afternoon.

My fourth for the arvo. Didn't take long to find...but as in previous logs...be careful of the barbwire. Thanks

05-Apr-17
Co-ords are good but description/clue out-dated and should include warnings of the barbed wire (both new on the fence and rusty pieces in the long grass). Luckily many of the logs did that and convinced me to keep trusting the arrow where I eventually spotted an unexpected container.

Found this one with Little cricket and 007 Mushu. Searched for a few minutes then after reading some helpful logs, made the find, signed the log and returned cache. Great hide TFTC:)

28-Jan-17
Found with Lucky Cricket and Little Cricket. Have not done this cache in the past due to comments of the bridge being removed, after a recent find came out and found it. TFTC

09-Jan-17
I'm surprised to say its still there and the log page is dry. No need to trespass, but be careful of the barbed wire as you make your search.

31-Dec-16
Oops-While passing by noticed previous comments. While a new bridge has been put in, that didn't my affect my find last February, I remember what type it was but I think a locked gate has now been placed to prevent entry, and so prevented me from confirming it's still there. CO may like to check to confirm location

Today I went caching with Dirk and Hanorah near Appin/Picton/Thirlmere. Well, I drove them around and looked for the caches Smile

A container of that size shouldn't be hard to find... But it did. Maybe next time.

09-Jan-16
At first I thought we might have to walk over the bridge but the coordinates took us elsewhere. The coordinates were spot on but our geosenses let us down and it took a few minutes to make the find. I managed to scratch my arm and forehead in the process. #clumsycacher

will have to attempt this one again, as someone has found it after me...

I found this cache as a joint part of “Team” *Throsbyonchurch* and in which name the log book was signed. I now have my own account as I’m old enough to cache myself, so I am claiming a fair share of my earlier finds. As I had no caching name at the time there's no log in the book for me but I’m claiming the find under team ToC. Thank you for the hide.

28-Nov-15
I found this cache jointly with TOC and now I have my own account I am claiming my finds. My caching name is not in the log book though as I didn't have one. I can cache on my own now. Thank you for the hide.

28-Nov-15
So rain was forecast, and the sky looked good, good enough to take a chance for an overcast yet dry day hunting. Arrived at 12:30pm and set off for GZ, took us a while before we had CIH, mainly due to the fact we were thrown due to bridge works and thought the cache had been worked on too, but persevered and voila there it was, a little damp but ok. Signed log, returned to its hide'y hole and set off for another GC. Fortunately for us we persevered and the weather did improve. Glad we didn't head for home because it rained. We were privileged to have a passenger train pass on the southbound line, received a jolly ole toot for our waves as well, and a goods train pass on the northbound line. Thanks for the cache.

25-Oct-15
Well hidden great fun

24-Oct-15
Was initially thrown off by extensive roadworks & clue. After a thorough search we figured it was a goner. But then we re read description and we had one more look where the GPS wanted us & bingo, found it Smile. Log was damp, but definitely useable, last entry on log was from muppet95 over a year ago. Always cool to find an unloved cache! Thanks Sgt Rios88 xo

Searched fairly thoroughly. A guard rail has been taken out by a runaway car. I hope this hasn't affected the cache.

? No trains passed, lots of cars passed - and everyone looked at us with a suspicious look. However, whatever approach we did today, even looking up the hint, the cache insisted on NOT revealing itself.

08-Sep-14
After 6 DNF's this morning, I thought I'd quickly detour to get this one, because it's a great feeling to snag a cache.

In hand shortly after c:geo helped.
