As there has been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it has been a number of months since the last owner note I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.
Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

The drain area at GZ has had recent heavy mainenance by council/railways etc and is deeper and steeper, so it is likely that even of the cache was still there, it is probably gone now and would be dangerous to access
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. It has been a while since maintenance needed was reported with no action taken. A year since it was actually found.
It seems as though this one is due for retirement.

Could the owner please check on this cache.
Long gaps since it had last been found, with water damage. After the recent rainfall it most likely would have been completely destroyed or washed away.

Looked with Wessiri, we figured it had been muggled as the likely location did not yield the cache.
Searched for a while with cav99, found several likely spots but no cache. Suggest the CO comes by for a check up on this one
Reperio at 1810.
Came by here on a little detour to Newcastle, and while the whereabouts of the cache was never in question, the cache location itself was. Spotted the container as soon as I arrived, but the contents were soaked and smelly. Given the location it's not surprising though, although the container was interesting...probably just needs to be waterproofed better.

Recent wet weather has taken its toll & the log is soaked & barely able to be signed. Perhaps a waterproof log is needed or a cache lid that will keep out the weather.
Cheers, CATONY.

Nice quick find on our travels but the log was soaked, we guess sydney`s recent rains have taken its toll on the cache, water has entered the cache & we only just managed to sign the saturated log which will fall apart completely very shortly.

I remember finding this cache with scouts when we were visiting Picton.
We went for a walk up here and they showed us some of the local caches!

All credit to SDooper on this one, he was on it in seconds while I was wandering around on the other side. Log very wet. TFTC!
With the recent rain and the relatively blocked culvert under the railway (water could bank up), I suspect moisture has gotten to the log. Maybe a check is in order. Thanks.
Another enjoyable cache.
Much more interesting this drive down the old roads instead of the Hume.
All the caches along here have made it even more enjoyable.
Cheers.

#287 found @ 2121 on caching day 58. The score for today was 36 found its and 3 Did not find. Over a speedometer distance just shy of 1100 klm's from home base so all in all a good day with some highlights and lowlights.
This was 31/36 under torch light and dodging the few cars out and about around the area it was found easily and still doing its job. The ground below was a tad damp and with the container retrieved the next task to to sign the log. This was also achieved with a little bit of persuasion after removing the container lid. After the formalities were completed back to the location you go and on the the next one I go.
Thanks sgt.rios88 and westmeadconcorde for a great hide. You score a favourite for the container.

The logbook is totally soaked. I may be possible that the cache was recently submerged and the wooden lid really does not seal well.

Found this cache at 2:35pm on our way home from a vintage car day. Had tried this one earlier but the drain was flowing full and fast.
The log is a bit damp. Have put it in a new plastic bag.
Thanks sgt.rios88, westmeadconcorde for the hide.

I ( Mrs FM) didnt like this cache. Thats because I ended up knee deep in mud and stagnant water after signing the log and replacing the cache - and then slipping on the loose dirt. Still at least I stayed upright.
Other than that, cache is fine. TLNL. SL. TFTC!

In an effort to find a cache today we drove up this way to nab a couple. Once the right bit of drain was sorted it was a quick find. TFTC!
Second of three quick drive-by finds in our local area. Left nothing. Took nothing. THE RADBURNS
Lots of activity around here today being the annual steam festival day. We saw several steam trains, however the coast was clear when we retrieved the cache.

Went looking again today. No luck finding it and there is a lot of water there at the moment .
Went looking in 3 spots there but could not find it. Figured it would be easy due to all the spoilers but could not find it
Was tempted to grab my lighter but didn't know if any trains were passing. Logbook was a bit moist, needs drying.

I'm trying to catch up on past logs today. I've let 140 caches pass without logging them. So I can't say anything specific about your cache. I'm only 10 years old, and while I love caching, I sometimes like doing other things rather than logging my finds when I get home. Sorry. Thanks for putting your cache out for me to enjoy.
So, I'm thinking to myself, "you've got to be kidding"- a drain in the rain.... and a snoopy neighbour right opposite, eying us off. Our youngest spotted the same spot and he was, as always, in for the kill. A nifty little hide! Thanks
It's been raining heavily for days and now we're doing a cache at a drain. It doesn't take a great mathematician to figure out what that adds up to (the answer is lots of mud and water) The solution? Send little NickoHeap to get it. Afterall, if he falls in, he won't make quite so big a splash. Lucky the boy is nimble. The cache was retreived without incident. Thanks
Found with shy Salem on a Friday arvo! Cool container but some stuff wedge right in there
WanderingAus wandered by on day 130 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, visiting the home of one of my nieces for a family get-together with the daughters of one of the brothers of the WanderingMrs, and noticed this cache just 110 metres away.
After an hour or so of pleasantries I saw my opportunity, slipped away, and made a fairly quick and easy GAFF 0 find before returning, my absence ALMOST going un-noticed.
My find No 3077, TNLNSL, dropped my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC in for a visit before grabbing it back again.

A quick find as I made my way through thirlmere. My timing was spot on to see a steam train.
Thanks
Thanks
This one is now being guarded by an angry Magpie. Managed to squeeze in a TB, Thanks
We had programmed the car Navman to take us from Thirlmere to Picton and I was fiddling with the gps and looking at the map. Hang on! Stop! There's a cache right here!! How lucky was that? I managed to get the log out and everything was nice and dry so the recent rain obviously didn't cause any problems
Found this on some weeks ago, looks like I forgot to log my visit on this site. Gotcha16
Found quite easy. Beats me how this type of cache stays dry. Had a lot of trouble getting log out . TFTC Garnets
Not claiming a find or a no find. It had been raining pretty heavy last night and the drain had plenty of water in it. The small viaduct was blocked and a build up of water. Will try another time, perhaps when the days have been sunnier.
Thanks sgt.rios and westmeadconcorde.

Got this one on my way to Bowls. Can't say that i actually " Found " it as reading the logs far too much info was given away. For me the pleasure of Geocaching is in the searching and finding the Cache oneself.Others may have different ideas. As for the Cache itself I fear it may get a bit wet inside if there is a storm as it did not appear water tight.Never the less a find is a find. Gotcha16
nice little hide here.
i just love the detail that was put into making things like drainage tunnels, things that are just purely functional but still the time and effort was put into it as though it was as special as the Picton Viaduct.

Number 14 on the 'KC and CG Highlands Day'. Great clues and a clever hide. Thanks for the cache.
We were impressed with the hide (one of our own is similar to this one) and it was a great learning curve for Cranky Gecko and The KateyBears who were with us for our Highland Jaunt today. TFTC
4th for the afternoon thanks to team mates Krafty Charlie and Cranky Gekkos. TFTC
The Geo wife spotted this one and sent me down to get it like the brickwork on the old drain..TFTC....
