Another JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni & sir_spectre) day was organised heading up north again to find some pole caches, some D/T combinations and various others on our travels. We were joined by Mrs travellinbees and GTA5 and had a fun day winding our way along lots of dirt roads and tracks trying to find some out of the way caches. We made it to Truro for lunch at the bakery then headed off to the south east before heading home.A quick find here. Thanks for the cache SnappyTomCats.
Quick find. Nice cache containerOut on the monthly outing with the JAMS crew ( JJ52, Allister W, Mogni plus sir_spectre ) but not mitchell&hound since she is off on a extended holiday. Travellin'bees and GTA5 joined us for the day out as well. Today's targets were to get a ladder cache and some solved puzzles that require a extension pole then turn right at Nurioopta and find hopefully about 40 caches so i can get closer to 20,000 and find my 20, 000 cache over in Victoria just after christmas. The only other target we had was to get the " Pirate Project " cache since onlt 8 " Pirate Project " caches were published in South Australia and 3 of the JAMs crew published " Pirate Project " caches and so did the Jams account. The weather was nice for a change and while no snakes were sighted we did find 3 lizards. We fixed a few broken containers and replpaced any full or wet logsheets.
out with the Jams crew, a Bee and GTA5 to collect some caches and test GTA5 silence game.A nice day traversing through the northTFTC

Great pozzy indeed. Another great container in good condition. Car doing well on these tracks. Thanks for the cache STC. Love the gum trees
Day 438 ( Monday 9th) of our trip. Caching along the way, in Greenock today. Out this afternoon to get a few around town. TFTC
Great spot, and close to Stockwell, which I have fond memories of. Nice cache too. I threw out the squashed Snickers bar, having had a previous awful experience or two with insects and food in caches. Thanks for this Grandeeze.
I searched the wrong area for a bit but widened the area to find it. Lovely to do this one with the sun setting. Nice view. TFTC
A very neat hide in a cool spot. I was looking elsewhere at first to no avail.
It was only when i moved in closer i noticed something and the cache was quickly in hand then .

Today @gridge98 and I headed north primarily to attend the Gawler event, and used it as an excuse to geocache around the vicinity for common unfound caches of ours. We started out with a couple of geocaches at Munno Parra, before visiting Evanston Gardens just next to Gawler. We then made out way towards Kapunda, stopping off at Freeling (some great wetlands here), Fords, and Bethel. It was then one final detour to Truro for our targeted adventure for the day *Under the Bridge*, a D 4.5 / T 5.0 geocache. With our limited time remaining before obligations required us to be home, we found a few previous troubled and new caches around Nuriootpa. A nice day to be geocaching around, except the couple of locations requiring us to walk through the dried grass, collecting sharp grass seeds through our shoes and socks. It's that time of year where gaiters start becoming a must!
We followed this road to another dead end / private property. The geocache didn't take long to find, and the cache and logbook were in good shape. Gridge98 further added some swag to this geocache, which I was surprised at. Thanks Grandeeze for the cache placement and SnappyTomCats for its ongoing maintenance.

Made the detour of the main road to this cache, a nice and quick find here
Today I headed north with Davidwazza to collect some caches but it was mainly based around the event at gawker and was the main reason we headed up this way. With some cache unfound around kampungs and Nuriootpa we finished the day off in those areas. Overall a great day out with 26 finds.
Thanks for the cache

While camping near Nuriootpa for a couple of days, we decided to do an assortment of caches around the area today with ilook4geo. Some were a bit more difficult to spot than others, but we ended up with a good haul of caches to add to our tally. Each log was initialed and all was put back as found before we moved on. This was one of the caches we found, although we still don't understand the hint.
Thank you to Grandeeze for placing this cache, but we found it some metres from the listed co-ords.

Staying near Nuriootpa and doing some caching around the district with goingplaces2. It was a fun day and we found a good number of caches. All logs were signed, then replaced. Job done! Time to get moving. TFTC.
Out and about with SnappyTomCats doing a maintenance run...
Who would have thought this one was still where it was meant to be...
I logged that I did not find it not that it wasn't there...
Nicely hidden away..

Out today to do some cache maintenance. Checked this one and apart from a damp log, the cache was where it should be and ready to be found. Replaced log with a new dry one.
DNF unfortunately the dog got a bit too excited over the presence of cows, so it'll be one for another day
Hi there SnappyTomCats.
This is the 2nd of 5 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but we just couldn't locate your cache, we found plenty of syringes though. [xx(][xx(]. So here's a DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

The owners came to check what I was doing. They are going to get bulls soon and activate the electric fence. This area might be blocked off soon due to people chucking their rubbish here.
Finally got this clever hide after a bit of a walk about! TFTC.

Lovely spot, nice and clean here today. Beaut day to be out caching in the barossa! TFTC!
Beautiful quiet spot. Thanks for bringing me and Charlie dog out here. He had a gr8 run around. Tftc
Had to search around as I couldn't find in 1st place I looked ...of course it was in the last place I looked.
An invitation was kindly extended to me to spend the day caching with earthlight and Mrs 3LG
Naturally I said yes and so we spent a wonderful day caching around the lower Barossa area
Thinking I'd maybe get 3 or 4 finds I was very pleasantly surprised when I returned home and had 12 finds for the day! Even more awesome that 9 of those were Grandeeze caches
Many laughs were had , no cars were bogged on the dirt roads and the sunshine then slight rain and rainbows on the way home just added to the wonder [^]
What an awesome spot
earthlight wasn't too sure about getting here but she did it
Thanks for the fun [^]

Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a well designed and presented cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Grandeeze for the cache.
Headed out this way today to clear up some of the unfounds, was a great day to be riding the bikes to the caches that were of the track, weather was pleasant to us and we managed around 25 finds all up. TFTC
So I managed a day off and headed to the Barossa for some caching, the sun was shining at it was surprisingly warm for a winters day.
I liked this spot, I drove the car up and no problems, might get pretty boggy though near the gate at the top in the wet weather just as caution. Cache in good order. TFTC

After attending the Farmers Market with our travelling companions iluvtrekking, we headed out to grab some of the local caches. Thanks Grandeeze
After a visit to the Nuri Markets for breakfast we headed for the country roads. Thanks for your cache Grandeeze.
Out for an early morning cache around Nuri. So beautiful around here. A quick find. TFTC.
Found on a fun caching afternoon with Sebastbat.
Seemed a nice spot - no rubbish, and a walking trail for another day

Had a day off work and wanted to catch up on a few more smileys, so grabbed the geobag and a few supplies and headed out, decided I would complete a circle starting at home and finishing back there. Nice quite spot for fishing for a cache.
Out With **JEM** today joining dot to dot smiley faces in a circle to see how many we can get before heading home.
Geo-hubby had it found while I was hardly out of the vehicle! Lovely spot.

Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
Camped at Greenock we were planning a leisurely few days before moving on. After the last 2 days and only a handful of smilies we decided to make a more concerted effort to grab some finds today.
It was sooooo cold today the car said it never got above 9degrees! Can assure you it felt a darn sight colder when we had some hard to find caches and were out in it for more than we anticipated.
Some lovely views again today and other than 1 cache all with co-ords that were very accurate.
TFTC and helping us keep our streak alive. and maybe we will meet you at the event on Sunday.

South Australian OZ Mega 2014 in Murray Bridge. A Twelve day trip to and from the mega. Plenty of caching along the way and near Murray bridge. A great time with lots of cachers all over the place to make for a very entertaining period.
I joined up with Sol de Lune for the lead up to the Mega and the mega itself. This was the second day exploring the Barossa, with Nurioopta the center of activities. Thanks.

A couple of days out from the SA Mega and Albida and I were on a run around the area grabbing a few caches. No real problems with any of them and the ones we attempted were in good shape. I think we will need another week to make any sort of dent in the numbers around here though......
Thanks for this one......

Spent a wonderful day caching the Barossa with Mogni, managed 72 smileys and 1 DNF. For those that know us:- No daks were ripped but they tried to fall down often. Much laughter and of course - there was blood!
Another quick find. Not as much dumped junk as expected. Thanks Gradeeze.

Please excuse generic logs. This was one of our caches while on a weekend in the Barossa Valley. We wish to thank all the cache owners for the way in which these caches are maintained. It is a pleasure to come to the Barossa at any time because of the many attractions it offers, not the least is the number of caches in this area. We will put in separate notes for logs that may need maintenance etc. Co-ords in the majority were very accurate. Thanks so much again. It is a wonderful caching area and we will be back. Keep up the good work all the CO's.
First finf on day 17 of 31...Blowing a gale and freezing cold, but a great spot..TFTC
Found. A wet cold windy day, what better way to spend it than to go geocaching with the family. We found 26 before the kids starting getting restless. Fun outing had by all. TFTC.
Cheers.
Cheers.
A nice little track off the road i didn't know about and I'm local! thanks grandeeze.

Left the caravan at the Bridgestone Commercial center in the Barossa Valley,
while doing the 'Five oh', and a couple of other caches in the area, this being one of them.
A nice easy find.
