Unfortunately I have not been able to restore this one, so I will now archive it. Will endeavor to place another one in the local area soon.
Checked on Playing in the basin today and after waiting for a large group of cacher's to go and for a few muggles to move on (just as well it started raining), It appears that yes it has been muggled once again. I am temporarily disableing it and will re-locate it to a quiet spot nearby.
Sory folks.

ahahaha, I was one of the "large group" today. Getting down on your stomach in the middle of the park to find this one is a bit obvious. It really is a great spot, pity the park is so popular.
Will have to go hunting for it again soon.
thanks

Today I had arranged to meet up with The Physics Teacher and his geo-son with my geo-kids tagging along. What started out to be a miserable morning of light rain cleared for our 11:30 meeting once the morning activities had been completed we cached until about 2 pm when the kids were getting hungry and TFT had a few afternoon chores to do.
After an extensive search for half an hour of all possible locations of the two obvious structures, even using the hint, this one is not here. Owner check will be required I think.
Thanks matsta I think it's gone.

I am sure this cache is going to haunt me, we sttod on top of where the gps said and looked where the hint said and found nothing, I was with my new caching partner Crazy Nat Girl and she said to me I have only just started caching, but I am not keen on these caches in kids playgrounds, that was coming from a woman. thanks anyway.
Went out a few weeks ago. I loved the park and the walk to GZ however my GPS was all over the shop and after 20 mins, we decided to try again later.

Edited 19/06/2011 0302 hours. Well, we actually found this one on the 13/06/2011....sily me placed the above info in the wrong log. Was a nice find and we loved the clue. Popped over the road for a Hot chocolate which made for a very nice outing. Took the trackable which now lies in GC2KZTA.

Today was a day of caching in the shadow if the Dandenongs. This cache is most defiantly not a single man caching on his own cache, particularly not during the day. Today the park was packed full of families, and even as girl by myself, I felt a bit awkward being there with no real reason. I was going to give the cache a miss altogether, but the families were busy and I was able to pick it up after all. I signed log, made use of the parks facilities and was on my way. Thanks for the cache matsta
Found at 12.10pm GAFF1. No midget muggles around to interfere with the search, but then a grown up muggle pulled up and started to take photos of each piece of equipment? Didn't mind us being there so we kept searching until we found it in a tricky to get to spot.
Thanks matsta.
Thanks matsta.
Wow finally got a shot at this without other people around. Third attempt for this one. I suppose the foggy morning helped. TFTC TNLN jefina
Came here 2 days ago but there was a major party in the BBQ area. Came back this morning and had the area to myself. TFTC
Nice spot very busy this afternoon had to accidentally drop my keys to get this one without suspicion but made the quick grab and signed log book cache is nice and dry today tftc tnlnsl
Found this one when out caching with my dad and daughter. The hint helped us get this quick with the cautious eye out for muggles of which there were plenty.
Cache a little damp, but okay.

Joined up with covert to do a few caches over the period of the night. We met at our usual rendevouz and for a change we had no real plans for the night, we were just going to wing it. We ended up in the Ferntree Gully area and ended up caching around here for a while. I'd been past here about a month ago but the place was overrun with muggles so didn't even bother stopping the car. Tonight not a muggle in sight so we had no problems getting a car park, walking over to GZ and finding the cache. The container had a bit of water in it so covert did his best to get most of it out. Signed the log and returned the cache to it's hiding spot. Thanks for the hide.
Visited with my Uni student geokid.....he enjoyed playing whilst we waited for the last of the kids to go! Managed a quick retrieve and sat on the bench to read the log....only to have someone come over and start to talk to me because of the geodogs. He was lovely but my quick stop turned into a long evening on a park bench getting cold. By the time he left more kids came and played at GZ....dont these kids have beds to go too! My son played a good ploy by dropping something at GZ and dropping to put the box back and retrieve the thing he dropped! Well done geokid!!

I had a couple of hours spare today, so thought I'd pick up a couple of caches that were a bit by themselves out to the east of me. I read the logs for this one and was pretty nervous about the potential for muggles but, thanks to the rather wet weather lately, I guess most were favouring indoor locations and I had the whole park to myself when I arrived. Still, I didn't want to push my luck, so I quickly got to GZ, had a quick look and spotted the cache and had retrieved, logged and returned it in next to no time.

I found this cache as the1st of 4 on the way home. After this one was offline for just over 3 months, I thought that this one was going to go before I had a chance to find it. Luckily, it had a second life and I was able to sit as I grabbed and logged the cache. There were people at the playground, but contrary to my usual luck they were actually on the other side. Thanks from D B-A.

This took 3 attempts. 1st time too many muggles, 2nd time too small a window for a decent look without looking suspicious; 3rd times the charm.
This is a tuff cache to to get, would suggest a night run for this one.
There a great milkbar opposite the park which sell cheap bags of "old school" lollies, mmmm nice...

Out for an enjoyable bike ride and discovered this little park. A few muggles around made it tricky.
Another really uncomfortable experience looking for caches in a playground.
Finally found on my fourth go. First time - too many muggles - well, it is a a major playground after all! Second time - muggled, third time - too many muggles again - fourth time - muggle-free and a fairly short search, at last.
It is still very close to the playground and will continue to cause problems.

After a fairly long break and no chance to restore this one, we have now replaced this one in a slightly different location but still in the park.
Sorry everyone, this one has been muggled. I will endevour to replace as soon as i find a more suitable site.
With inclement weather (it was drizzling the whole time) Rebel Acts and I had this place all to ourselves today. For nearly half an hour we dug and dug and dug. The hint was of limited use I have to say, but still we dug. We unearthed more than 20 spots related to the hint, and then some. PAFs were of no help, and in the end we gave up with sore hands.
18.50pm I was on my hols caching with the mad wizzard who had previously found this one, well we certainly gave this our best shot but after much work we just had to give up,so 10500 miles for a dnf,is that a record, Wayne was dissapointed that this one we could not find. greetings from england.patandjeff=bones1.
How deep is this mulch? Think I was digging to China hope it hasnt been muggled as pen lying close by. Great park jefina
Found by Greg 1220H 13/09/10. Also not my favourite type of location. Old guys like me on their own have some difficulty in looking inconspicuous.
Finally got the chance, did a grab and run . Then had to wait till all the midget muggles were out of the way to replace it. TFTC TNLN
Suscoe found this cache early today on the way to our son's engagement party.
it was where the GPS wanted to take us which is always great.
Even better there were no little or big muggles.
A quick find and soon completed the signing.

this was more of a case of did not even look due to the high number of kids, here, not our favorite location for caches, we may return in the dark hours, when noone is around.

TVMFTC (thanks very much) I used to visit this playground with the kids but had no idea that it had been rebuilt. What a lovely playground to visit in the future. Got covered in bark looking because it was raining and bark all got sticky. Was muggle close nearby but we hid in the cubby with geokiddies to open the treasure TNLN

It's funny, driving past, on the day I saw this park was finally opened, I thought it would be a good place for a cache, and one was put there that very day, but I didn't see it till the next morning.
Not sure it's the best hiding place, kids make up all sorts of games and bark chips also slowly disappear. I could see it from a few meters away poking through. Good general location though but I'd work on a more permanent hiding place, personally.

Oops! Forgot to log this one earlier. Found this one with Mrs Biggles and although the marauding midgets were back at school a handful of pre-school rug rats and their nana's were intent on interfering with caching activities! Anyway, we managed to locate the cache and log our find despite one enthusiastic nana who was having more fun clambering over the structure then her charges!

Found by edmil. Maddie and I had just had breakfast down the road and I was off to work, but decided to have another shot at this one, every time I had been with in the vicinity of GZ the muggles were there in force so I didn't even bother to give it a go. However this nice crisp morning most of the muggles would still have been tucked up in the warmth not even contemplating a visit to GZ until the sun was well and truly up. Well it worked for me I had GZ to myself and the cache in hand in a few minutes. signed the log but no swap was made. Thanks for the cache.
Great park for the kiddies, best I've seen in a long time and fortunately not too crowded today so we were able to retrieve the cache without too much problem, took some stealth to replace the cache though. This must be the closest cache we've ever done.

I was sleeping earlier Sunday (middday) when the 3 new caches near home were published.. had to put up with 5th.. mmm.. was it ToyCar that got FTF?..
When this one popped up at ~10.30pm, I thought beauty.. and it's my First FTF too..

Being so close to one of our favourite coffee places it was inevitable that we were going to find this one.
@ 10:25hrs today I had the cache in hand. It was really nice to sit in the sun and soak up some warmth while logging our find.
I am impressed with the nice clean amenities in this park, but I have to wonder how long it will stay that way.
Some people must sleep here given the time that they find these caches so we only got third to find status with this one.

Saw this cache come in lst night, when I was about to go to bed, so decided to do it in the morning.
I didn't think anyone would have gone out since it was started so late, but I was wrong.
I left early this morning and dropped in to this one while on my way to work.
Found this cache at 7:25AM.
Don't know how long this will last when summer come round and muggle Jrs start moving the covering.
