Out on Saturday with Heidelberg Cub group (as a parent helper) who camped this weekend at nearby Baywac. The cubs were out on a bike ride and stopped at the nearby playground for lunch. We thought we would quickly look for this one, whilst having a break from the bike riding. We couldn't find this one with about 12 sets of eyes...our schedule was tight though, so we didn't have much time to give it a thorough look. I did give the kids a quick run through about letterbox caches (they have only done trads so far!)
If Postman Pat was there he was doing a great job of hiding, really wonder why the caches along this walk are placed in such prominent spots that everybody can see, there were so many lovely spots that were hidden from muggles.
Teamed up with The Green Geckos to find as many solved puzzle caches as we could in the short timeframe we had in the Melbourne/Mornington area before heading down to Geelong/Anglesea for the Surf Coast Mega on the weekend. This one wasn't a puzzle, but it was on our route, so of course we had to stop and try to find it. No joy though, but then again, we weren't too keen on doing any further damage to the vegetation at gz either. Maybe another time...
Nope do not found. Seems like is some months no one can found it.. Is mabey gone?
Biggest log book I ever did see. And the hide was a nice retreat from the 50kph winds we are enjoying at the moment
I visited this cache in April and picked up a Travelslug. I am now in the uk and have placed it in a nearby cache.
Beautiful sunny day today and the muggles were out in force. Still, I don't think anyone saw me sneak into the bushes here. Lots of little pathways going in and out and I wandered along a few before coming across the cache. TFTC!
Finally ! TFTC 3BD. Thought it was going to be my lucky day, but again drew a blank @ Shock & Star. If they're that obvious, then I must be blind. Otherwise, kudos to you for some well concealed caches.
Took geocoin & exchanged TB. I will be back with a white cane for the other 2 !!

A quick find. Lovely place to visit. Dropped off TB. Listed TB's aren't here. Tftc.
During our holidays spent in Australia we decided to look for some caches in Melbourne as we love it there It took a while to find this one due to many muggles and many possible hideouts. Then we enjoyed the promenade and the sea. We rate the weather by 8. Greetings from Czech Republic. TFTC!

Finally crossed this one off our list after several failed attempts. Had to avoid many Muggles out for a morning walk. Dropped in a trackable and a couple of swaps for the next finders.

I wasn't actually as close as i thought the other day. Barely functional GPS was getting me rather confused. I tested out a new device on the approach today and was reminded, after 6 excruciating weeks of technical problems, just how helpful said location-determination protocol is when it actually works! That said, I might have closed in on GZ pretty swiftly but the number of potential hidey holes was still quite numerous, such that i was there for a little longer than is ideal in a fairly open location. But the nice new logbook was eventually found and the stamp was stamped. Thanks for cache and the ongoing maintenance, 3blackducks!
I had hopes since receiving a ping after the CO had logged a replacement cache and log. Alas more limber and thinner people than me are going to have the honours. Maybe next time....
Is this not a candidate for 'disabled' status? Approached it today but turned back only because I happened to read recent CO log entry while metres from GZ.
Looked for this one today. Yes, missing. I will replace on Monday's geodog walk.
No success looking for this one today. Noted the previous DNFs, wondering too if this one is gone...
We looked for ages scurrying around with three of us in broad daylight ... Could not find... Can see where it probably was hidden however I have a feeling it no longer exists especially having not been found for a few months now....can it be checked???
Two of us spent a good 40mins search for this one by torch light tonight. We were hoping to find our first letterbox cache. As a bonus no muggles at 10pm. Will need to return another day.
hooray we found it, this our 2nd atempt, there are lots of hiding places around here so i am glad we found it relatively quickly. we parked at the paid parking a little way off and the kids had a good play in the boat park before i dragged them off to this one. we dropped of a few swaps and were on our way again before our parking time ran out, thanks
After spending quite a while here on a previous occasion arrived tonight for a quick find in one of the places we had checked last time. Another good sized cache in a nice location TFTC
No problem getting to GZ as nanton34 had been here a previous time and did not have any luck. No such problem this time around with my first letterbox hybrid that wasn't an actual letterbox! Tftc
quick stop on the way home from a weekend getaway, nice fast find however a lot of muggles out for evening jogs. Unfortunately didnt have a stamp but signded log book. *TFTC *TNLN
On a bit of a road trip this weekend to knock over some of Victorias LGA's.
2 days, 1200+Km, 1 event, 19 found, 1 dnf and 8 LGA's put to bed
This was the second cache that came up on the radar. It was a quick find. It took me longer to replace as a dog walking muggle kept on going around the island of scrub. Took a chance and slipped back in and replaced the cache back in it's hide.

'Scrat' visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.

Found it! Easy find but perfect for the kids. Hve to watch out for muggles though!!
[red]Find #2357 Letterbox Hybrid #15 [/red]
After a few days away from home for work, I was eager to get back home but when i saw this letter box hide, without too much of a detour, I was onto this one. I parked quite close by and was surprised by the lack of muggles about, but it is a very windy and cold day today. A quick find here on this cache. Signed and returned as found as I didn't have my stamp with me. I drew a little picture instead.
[blue]Thanks for this traditional cache hide, 3 Black Ducks. [^]
Log and container were in good condition.
Took Nothing, Left Nothing [/blue]

Unfortunately no signs of P Pat or his Cat!! A few muggles on a sunny cold autumn day, beautiful spot for our turtle to play.eloise @ The Plaza
My first cache! A really good one to get started with!
There was no stamp for my log book in the cache though! I left some stamp stickers to go with the postman theme!

2nd time here and found, gps was a bit off but the pictures helped, headed out to this cache after lunch nearby after a previous DNF I was very disappointed, so today was the day, I search in a new location which is where I found the cache
Tftc

We grabbed this one, then sat on a nearby bench in the sun, had some lunch and watched the world go by. Thanks for bringing us to such a beautiful vista of the bay and for the cache.
Third time lucky here, after two DNFs for a cache that later turned out to be missing. Much easier today! Cache in good condition, thanks!
This is the closest letterbox to my home and I had never done one before so today was the day. We ventured out to North Road in search of some nearby caches (all hidden by 3blackducks) and this was the first on the list. I had read the hint beforehand and the compass app on my phone was leading us towards a tree. I spotted the geo-trail to the GZ and I quickly had the cache in hand. I don't have a stamp so I just drew a smiley face. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Well this is my 3rd time back here and finally found it smoko time at the building site behind thanx for this its been a thorn to find love it
Checked this cache today, yes it's there. I hope the info I've sent ms-enchantress helps her team get a "Stamp"
Thank goodness for husbands they do come in handy sometimes! Well in this case MS-Encantress and her husband who was clever enough to find the cache today! Larry the Lunatic Lizard TB was very excited, so excited I think he scared Pat a little bit! TFTC 3blackducks I'm really pleased it hadn't been muggled so quick!
Sometimes... just sometimes... I love my hubby...
He knew that TeamThommo and I had a DNF on this cache the other day and as its a 280km round trip for me to come back, he went out of his way today to find it (insert happy dance!!)
I worded him up on all the places we had tried, then I told him the info I had recieved from the CO and TADAA! another smiley on my map :)
Thanks 3BlackDucks for bringing us here... Its sometimes nice to be reminded of what we've got... Australia is beautiful !

280km round trip for a DNF very disappointing. CO was very helpful later in the day, unfortunately returning wasn't an option with cranky toddlers
I'm not sure what logbook jordan38 signed..... ????
I've replaced the whole cache and logbook. There are also some swaps in it too.

A big fan of PP & BWC here today who needed a letterbox to get her GC badge. No luck today although we were very hopeful being that the cache was only replaced yesterday - three sets of eyes lots of ferreting around but no joy. Larry the lunatic Lizard TB came for the adventure - a very frustrating DNF today
should have read logs, but it had not been disabled so would like to say i wasted my time here, but i actually found 35 dollars at the nearby playground so i will not complain to much.
If this cache isn't available, as appears to be the case, then it needs to be disabled.
A premature ? visit to the GZ this arvo. You're right, way too many hiding spots to do a thorough search for 'something which not be there' !
Just checked this cache. It has gone with no trace of it !! Will replace on tomorrow's dog walk .
So many potential hiding spots. Had a ten minute look but then we needed to continue our walk.
Found whilst in the area attempting a notorious archived cache
Forgot to log this a while bakc and just saw it on the map. Thanks for the letterbox here!

Down in Melbourne this evening from Geelong with 10 other teams to enjoy a fun filled night of caching.
We picked this one up as we were heading back to the car park as we are never ones to let a find pass us by.
Thankyou 3blackducks for this very early Leterbox Hybrid placement.

[red]My humble apologies for the late log...[/red]
After living away from home for 6 months, I have managed to find all my caching associated paperwork / notes & photo's so I can (finally) log all my finds...
My sincerest thanks to all the cache owners for their hides & all the effort gone into them & I'm sorry for the generic log... I have seen many beautiful area's that I would not of seen or experience if not for your hides...
Thanks for bringing me here and for the cache... Met up with a few Teams to grab some caches around the area...

Out and about with a quite a few teams from Geelong for an evening/ night of caching fun.
What a fantastic time I had. It was good to catch up with some cachers that I have met before and great to meet the rest of you. I look forward to the next adventure!
Having tried, unsuccessfully, recently it was good to finally get a smiley here.
My autograph book was in the GeoPrado so I will return to collect the stamp.
Thank you for placing this cache 3blackducks.
A favourite point from us.

I was hopeful that I could find this one tonight but alas no cache for me
Spent about 20 minutes searching by torch light but ran out of stamina.
Will definitely be back in daylight to try again!

Had a nice morning working my way along the coast road today That trail is awesome!
This cache took a little searching for but I made the find.
There was a lady with her small baby on a bench close by and she spotted me and asked what I was looking for. I explained geocaching to her and showed her the container (that had some nice kid swag in it ) She seemed to be pretty interested - maybe a new recruit!!

Found this one today. It took ages to locate the cache but finally it was found. I loved the pen in the cache (an absolutely no excuses pen!) so I used it to sign the log! I didn't swap anything today.
Thanks for the cache 3blackducks.

What an amazing cache! Huge.
Tricky to find since there are lots of possible
hiding spaces. But the coordinates are perfect.
So have a look around in the bushes as the
CO suggests and eventually you will
make the find.
We took and left no items but there are
plenty of great swaps for kids.

we drove from Ikea to do this as our last cache on our holiday. The kids love Postman Pat. All I can say is OMG! TFTC
Spent a long time on this cache, when I thought all hope was lost finally found it! Very good hide
We can remember small relatives enjoying Postman Pat & his black and white cat so were looking forward to finding this cache.
After noting the last log was a DNF I wasn't confident that I'd find anything, particularly when I arrived in the vicinity of GZ and noted that the area seems to be well used with many little interlinked paths through the vegetation and much rubbish. I did several circuits of the area looking, and avoiding the passing walkers before lifting a branch and exposing a cache. Cache and contents were in very good condition.
Thanks for an interesting caching experience 3blackducks and for a good sized, well stocked cache thoughtfully hidden in a busy and picturesque place.
