What a fantastic multi , I did have some assistance from previous finder to point in the right direction to solve it . Loved the way it was done to finally get GZ coordinates . Arrived at GZ an area that needed searching ( not the gun) . It took a few minutes before locating the hide . The ants have taken residence as previously mentioned. Fortunately, I had a stamp to log my find . TFTC FP
This was a fun multi. Being old-timers who used to bushwalk using map and compass, we did some preparation and arrived with a list of distances and angles ready to navigate the seven seas. Loved the way the course was set out. Our preparation proved to be accurate and we were making great progress until a gale struck us on the last leg. We were blown off course (actually we were distracted by something which proved to be incorrect). Eventually, after much cursing we made our way to the correct location. This multi already deserved a FP. Then there was the cache!! Well shiver me timbers. It was a bewdy. Full of small ants, but they didn't bite and were easily brushed off to allow us to SL.Thank you very much fimbulisen, we really enjoyed this multi-cache.
Fun traipse around the park with Noah131407 - took a little bit of time to figure out what the places meant, but we got there after about half an hour or so.
After a walk in the park found this very clever cache. Well camouflaged. TFTC
After a wander round the park we found the treasure behind a very clever cammo TFTC
Yeeeeee-Aaarrrrrrrr!!
Well we did need a nudge from the CO after finding ourselves waaay off course after 2 hours of wandering through this lovely park. Back tonight to grab it before we leave Syd. Great cache. Thanks for the memories. Now off to get me some rum!

Ahoy there matey! Today be a rainy day, but that didn't stop me from settin' sail to the park to walk me legs. I left me ship and ventured into the unknown, not knowin' where me compass would lead me. As I made me way to the park, the rain started pourin' down like a thousand cannonballs from the sky.
But I wasn't fazed by the wetness, for I had me trusty raincoat and me sea boots to keep me dry. The park was deserted, save for a few other landlubbers who were also brave enough to face the storm. I walked around in circles, not knowin' what to do with meself, as I waited for the nearby event to start.
I continued me walk, and soon enough, I spotted the braced object but shiver me timbers I spotted the treasure but it has been overtaken by ants! I cleared as many out as could but they stung heaps as I left me mark. But it was too late I had plundered the booty. I made me way back to me ship, knowin' that today's adventure was one for the books. Until next time, me hearties!
Thanks fimbulisen for the cache.

I really struggled with this multi-cache! Obviously I’m not very good at speaking pirate or following cryptic clues in a location I have never visited before! I followed the first clue perfectly, but the second clue wanted me going in a direction that didn’t match with the terrain or logs. So I wandered around the park for a long time before something eventually caught my eye and I had an idea. From there I was able to somewhat work out the next direction I had to go, and with another little something to go off which helped!
Eventually I managed to locate the sneaky cache hide! I can’t say I followed every single stage perfectly, but I sure spent a whole heap of effort and close to an hour attempting it, so I definitely earned it!
Thanks for the fun, unique idea and awesome final hide

Have looked at this previously but it never really made sense to us. Decided today we'd give it a crack. Well what an adventure this was. Managed to figure out each destination then got a bit stuck. After a couple of pafs we were back on track. Ahhhhhhhhhhh nice one and very well constructed. Definitely fave worthy. Tftc
Well, WOW that was an adventure, Reading the description and going to the required locations (several times).and after a couple of PAFs, we were corrected and back on our way. Very well constructed cache. Fav point from us TFTM.

Ahoy there me hearties. Sailin' from th' West I dropped anchor broadside. Aarrr! Th' cannon set me o' in th' right direction. In search o' th' booty chest I rediscovered shackle, phatom and other measures. As I navigated th' islands o' North Sydney I lost me bearin's more than once. But with me trusted treasury map I came close to th' X on me map and I started diggin'.
A beautiful booty chest were bein' found. Th' logbook were bein' signed and replaced fer th' next Cap'n.
A favourite point. Thank ye fimbulisen!

Well that lead me on a merry sail around St Leonards Ocean. Saw lots of islands that looked familiar, but kept on sailing until I reached what to me was Treasure Island. Well crafted cache should have more than one favourite, so will have to set sail back to Cymru having come this far. Thank you for the cache.
Definite favorite point. Delayed finding final location for 6 mths due to construction. Had final location so quick find TFTC
Ahoy finbulisen! Found ye treasure on the eve of ye pirate speak day! Thanks for the loot matey! Happy TLAPD!

Aarrr! After many month ashore, we be settin'sail again. Me cannon was hijacked, and dragged to far off lands, so these 'ere sailing instructions be adjusted to yer new firing position. But the treasure remains, buried where it always was. Jump to it!

Landscaping work seems to be 90% complete, but still awaiting the construction fencing to come down. I will reactivate this cache as soon as access is clear, hopefully in a week or two.
Aarr! The upgrade to the central walk in St Leonards Park be still under way, so this 'ere cache remains disabled. Once the landlubbers work be completed, I will be issuing new sailing directions, to account for their dastardly trick: they have moved the cannon to a new firing position. (Note for reviewer: the actual cache remains in its original location, only the navigational clues need to be amended.)
Due to some upgrade work taking place in the park, this cache is being temporarily disabled until there is clear access to the area.
Wow we had a lot of fun solving all the puzzles and we are quite certain we know where the final cache is, unfortunately we think it’s in an area blocked off by current construction which prevented us from finding. We will have to come back again another time and will definitely give a favourite point once we find it
What an awesome adventiarrr! TFTC. Camo is amazing but hinges could do with some WD40.
Me swang by only to discover the navigator was lost. What an irony! Meaning that me parrot was not enough to find the treasure. Not even the second port of call. What a useless parrot! Next time me come back with a navigator who's not drowned in rum or anything, one who knows how to read a simple map. Until then, I'll pace on the land only.
A fantastic cache and a lot of fun. Found this one during an isolation walk with Poppy John. Dropped the X-mas Coin and took a little fish token. SL TFTC

TFTC! We came here a week a go but couldn't find it. Did some more research during the week and gave it another go. Great experience. Beautiful hide too!
No idea. None of this makes sense and ended up guessing which doesn't work. More of a puzzle than a multi.
Stopped off at this GOTM winning cache on my way home from work tonight for a visit with GCNSW Trackable Tag, whose mission is to visit all of the winners of the Geocaching NSW's Geocache of the Month award.
It's been a couple of years since we found this one (8/5/17), and nice to return for another visit to this well engineered cache. Thanks again Fimbulisen for your quality cache placement.

It's over, it's finally over! I've been up to this park so many times trying to decypher and try and figure out the final location. All good up until my 5th mark, then things became ambiguous and took many visits and a lot of patience to finish off. Thanks to a PAF for a nudge and then a shove towards the right path. Thankfully can now get rid of this one as the closest unfound cache to home. Tftc
Ahoy there me hearties! On this wild windy day, Cap'n Brew crossed the seven seas from The Shire to seek out this buried treasure on the North Shore. Battling the northern pirates, the SS Brewmobile dropped anchor by the bay and I jumped ship to hunt out the clues.
With my trusty sextant and compass, I rediscovered the long lost use of perch, rods, furlongs, fathoms, radians, cables, shackles and calibre. These bearings and distances proved tricky, but a bit of modern gizmos let me in where the WPs would lie on the ocean floor.
This old land lubber navigated his way to GZ, dragging me TOTT (shovel) just in case some diggin' were required. Me stupid parrot kept squawkin' "pieces of eight, pieces of eight", but that was just a decoy. After some virtual diggin' I spied the tower and where the craftily made treasure chest was hidden. And what a bewdy she is, with some loot still there for the takin'. Grabbed the captain's log, scrawled in me name, and buried the treasure as it was found.
Back to me crew and homeward bound in the SS Brewmobile. A fantastic journey circumnavigating these foreign lands for this man from the south side. Worthy of another FP of course. TFTC

Do you remember that scene of Will Smith on the street at the end of the movie “in pursuit of happiness”. That is how I felt when I found this cache. Such joy after a long hard search. Thanks for making this such a wonderful search, and to top it of the wonderful camo. Thank you so much!
I think Neptune heself had a good laugh at ole sandysa and meself as the wind constantly blew us off course. Or maybe our rum be too strong? Or maybe we just be landlubbers. Whatever it be, we took many a wrong turn and spent much time following our own wake.
By some grace of Poseidon, we eventually managed to find an X and after yet one more failure in maths, our Pinnace finally brought us to the treasure we be seeking.
Aarrr! We added our names to the annals and made away with some stow away TBs.
Thanks for all the fun today. This has been a really enjoyable cache and clever hide.

Aarrr was how we started, Aaaaaa (and pulling our hair out) was us most of the time looking for this cache, and Ahaaaa was how we finished.
Anominous Sign and I came to the north side for a visit today. I visited this park a few months back and noticed this cache and thought it was fun, but did not have time to do anything then.
Today we started on course for our first mark, but after that we pretty much took a wrong turn every time. I'm pretty sure a few people in the park this morning thought we were looney tunes wondering around with phones in our hands and turning every directions.
After much struggles, we managed to find our treasure with a nest of ants. We managed to put our names in the log and took a tb.
Thanks very much for a very enjoyable adventure and a very clever hide. A favourite from me.

Having lived in England's West Country (home of many smugglers and pirates) we have had extensive experience of Aarrr! So, having done our homework on the navigating table, we had a go early on a Sunday morning.
We had hoisted sail from parts north for the weekend to view the wenches wielding willow and ball at yon roundish patch of grass in close proximity. We hove to at the first mark, and then navigated as per instructions, sometimes detouring around obstructions. We were fortunate in having a good idea as to the location of Samoa and other marks, and so completed the course in good order. We knew we were close when parrots started squawking, looked for a patch to cover the eye, but declined to change a leg for a peg. We approached the treasure with cutlass at the ready, but in the end it was superfluous.
If we could, we'd award two favourite points, one for the description, the exercise and the voyage, and another for the hide and container. Aarrr! A great way to start a Sunday! Tftc!

This afternoon - after much preparation and some trepidation - I went forth to hunt for pirate treasure, in the company of JackScruff, a friendly human.
I should explain, I live now mostly on land, but come from a long line of the mer-folk. One benefit of this is that I speak many seafarer tongues, including pirate. Aarrrr indeed!
We set out, carefully measuring our distances, and taking our compass directions from the sun - which is not so often visible of late. We traversed many green places, clambered over a few fences, saw signs and portents, but came up each time with empty hands.
So I sat there on a rock combing what remains of my golden tresses (I cut my hair to blend in better). And then I decided it was time to do what a mermaid does best:
Swim - you say?!
Lure - I reply.
Conch shells are not so popular in this latter age for communication, so I called a geo-friend on my smartphone and sang my very best siren song. Resistance was futile, and a good hint was soon ours. We are grateful.
On with the journey. And this time, after so many adventures, it was plain sailing. The treasure was found!!!
I suspect fimbulisen may also have mer-blood. Anything this fine is otherworldly. I present you with my thanks, and the tribute of a favourite point, to add to your collection.

Every time I open the geomap this orange dot glares out at me.
So close to home but not found.
Very annoying but there never seems to be enough time for this long multi even though its in a park I know very well being one of my teenage haunts, and knowing where some of the Captain's instrutions would take me.
Today I teamed up with AussiePam as we had both passed our Navigation Certificate and were ready to set off on course.
The voyage went smoothly until we needed to scale a barrier to search a pleasant smelling plot for our treasure. This proved unsuccessful so we sent our pigeon messenger off to another sailor who had recently completed the course. He set us on the right tack and we were soon at our destination.
Great camo!
Thanks for bringing me back to this great park.
All well worth a favourite point.

A multi we had looked at a few time but each time decided we should do some homework before going plundering. So fast forward and we had done a bit of research so set sail. We navigated our way around without too much issue and arrived at a likely feature to spot a very nice bit of camo. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
Brilliant Camoflage, Terrific puzzle. Were it not for some assistance from another kind hearted navigator, we would not have found this one. Well deserved favourite point awarded. TFTC.
Found it this time.
Had some help from Google maps to sort my Port from Starboard.
Some great camo - but oh my God, the Ants! The Ants.
Managed to extract the Log, brush off the ants and return without being noticed

Back to the maps for another go tomorrow...

Aarrr.... I did most of the sea-leg work on this cache ages ago, but when I stood at 'X' marks the spot where the Treasure isn't, then sailed on a course towards Samoa, the wind must have blown me a bit off course, and I must have headed for Fiji. Anyway, I ended up looking around another (incorrect) well-braced mast but came up empty handed. Today I returned and found the treasure, and splendidly camouflaged it is indeed! TFTC fimbulisen
Visited while on a trip up from Melbourne. Took TB and will move it on. Still a favourite cache for us!
A lot of research went into this day of caching with oldmorty. Perches, furlongs, fathoms, radians, cables, shackles and calibre. Calibre - this was our downfall.
We were ok up until the fourth mark. Our error was doing too much research and taking heed of the calibre too early and forcing things to fit. At one stage oldmorty was about to jump fence onto the bowling green to search beneath the mast but thought better of it when he spotted the security guard. What about at the bottom of one of the light poles used on the cricket oval? I was teetering on the end of the plank, sharks circling beneath, with the ship heading towards the Pitcairn Islands when oldmorty made the call. Go back to the canon! This is where the calibre comes in. After that everything fell into place and we were safely sailing for Samoa. Great hide. TFTC fimbulisen

Following the suggestion of morty8888 that I should try this cache, frazeydaze and I yesterday began consulting Mr Google about perches, furlongs, fathoms, radians, cables, calibres and shackles. After getting a bit of an understanding about these terms we independently starting doing our homework in preparation for an attempt to sail the course today. We only had one disagreement in our calculations, which is pretty good, and felt we were well prepared for todays journey. With fair wind and weather we set our course from the cannon but not before noting any pertinent details about the cannon (big mistake). Before long we were counting the number of steel bands and then heading in the direction of the Isle of Mauritius and feeling confident in our progress to date. We fought in the great war and it was here that it stated to go all pear shaped. We found a couple of well braced masts but no cache and soon realised we had stuffed up somewhere; time for our picnic lunch and a rethink of our workings. Following lunch, much pondering and walking towards Samoa it was agreed we should phone morty8888 for a hint. He advised us that we were on the wrong side of the park; ok but the view of the harbour was great, and upon telling him of the course we had taken over the last couple of hours he soon pointed out where we had lost our way. Tracking back towards the cannon we quickly realised the error of our ways and were soon back on course in the direction of a well braced mast whereupon the bounty was discovered. A truly fantastic fun filled few hours in St Leonards Park, a park I spent a lot of time in with morty8888 when I took him to visit his grandparents across the road. Thanks for the wonderfully camoed cache and a fun time in the park today fimbulisen. Now we are off to Spare Ribs for some more fun but not before rewarding you with a fav point. Dropped Nemo's Australia Travel Trackable to be dropped off at the Great Barrier Reef on the way to Samoa.
Arrgggh shiver me barnacles on a cold winter's day. Fair sailing around the park til me cartographic instruments clearly misplaced Samoa ! A quick keel hauling of the parrot focused the mind . . . . . . . and then we stumbled into it having walked past the mast earlier !! A great chase and a great hide. Figures of 8 remain for any poor soul needing to pay tax on their ill gotten gains on this day. TFTC
Having played in this park every time we visited the grandparents near to 40yrs ago (the cannon being my favourite along with the dangerous wooden roundabout ride in the kids playground which has been replaced fro obvious reasons) I have spied this cache thru the noculars for some time. Today was the day to cover an eye, swish some rum and chuck the bird on the shoulder.
Well, not only did I learn there are many ways to measure a metre, but that multi caches like this are treasures in themselves. Loved the hunt and the camo was insane! I don't even know how it was created. Thanks fimbulisen and a fav point thrown into the chest.

Previously logged under team account BoogieRogue. Re-logging with my individual account. Looks like I was looking at the wrong spot initially. Got confused with the direction, so ended up circling around along the perimeter of the 5 shackles distance to find the mast. Found it today on lunch break. TFTC great walk around the park. Left TB.

This afternoon we headed up the crows nest to see what all these favourite points are doin' 'ere. We were bamboozled from the start but our confidence increased when we managed to navigate to the Shaky Isles. After we were blown off course heading to Mauritius, we steadied the ship and eventually drifted through the gates. From here things really headed south. Not even me parrot's sextant could make sense of the gibberish. So we reviewed the parchment containing scribbles of past finders and it just so happens that the treasure presented itself right where we was standin'. Now that be called pirates luck and a mighty fine chest she be stowed in to boot. We too marked our names in the log book and then attempted to reverse navigate to those evasive markers and soon we understood where we had gone astray.
Will be happy throw another favourite point in the kitty for totally scrambling our sense of direction and the excellent camo.

Well after battling a stormy passage, today I finally spied that illusive mast. I had stopped off at the park on a number of occasions over the past few months, setting sail to the various waypoints on each visit, and today was to be the final leg of the voyage. When I first embarked on this faithful voyage the WP1 cannon was nowhere to be seen, but as I sailed past today I noticed that it had returned, and it looks to be in "ship shape" condition to boot.
But today was all about dropping anchor at that splendid mast. During one of my previous voyages I had found another fine mast, but it was being staunchly defended by a small army of landlubbers who threatened to roll cannon balls at me, so I retreated to safer waters and continued on my quest for where the booty lay.
And so to today, when my vessel finally sailed up to that glorious mast, and I was able to claim my hard earn't reward. I quickly unlocked the mast's concealed secrets, signed the ships log held within, TNLN, and then replaced everything as I had found it.
Thanks fimbulisen for the fun sea going adventure, and for the superbly engineered cache container - it's a work of art! Ye can have a Favourite point for your efforts.

{143} Ahaarrrh! I've found the remnants of the lost treasure at last. I have been eyeing off this multi for years. A friend, who completed this multi last year, recommended it very highly. Many hours spent in this park during an earlier period of my life set me up nicely to make an attempt. So what was holding me back? I seem to have an aversion to multis because I don't know how long they will take. It's high time that I got over that!
Previously acquired knowledge meant that I could guess at the identities of some of the marks/waypoints, although I was not familiar with the feature at GZ until today. (And I got one guess totally wrong.) I spent 40 minutes walking around just after sunrise, then went back to quarters for some research and calculations. Then, with some numbers for GZ in hand, it was a quick march to GZ to make the find. Great hide! Overall it was a great little adventure in a beautiful park - an adventure that brought back many memories. It was great to see so many people in the park on a sunny autumn morning.
Thx fimbulisen!

Arrrrr!!! What a swash-buckling lot of fun! Went with @sydneyyorkiepud and it took us about 1.5 hours. We did get rather confused after mark 3 and nearly clambered over a fence to find GZ but thought better. Forlorn, we started walking home then spied a "mast". On closer inspection we found it!! Super camo. Very fun. Literally danced a jig. Thanks!
My first multi cache and there was no hornswaggling on this one. With @kellyseaburg over from Auckland we spent the best part of an afternoon running around this beautiful park. Alas we almost gave up until the mast finally sailed into view.....absolutely brilliant disguise. Truly awesome cache.
Aaarr! Some scurvy sea dog has stolen me cannon! Ye will find the plinth on which it sat, so just use yer imagination. If ye spy some shifty type lugging a German field gun around, feel free to sink them. The cache and its treasure remain intact and ready for yer adventure.
Had a long look around today with me two young pirates in tow, but they tired of swimming around and the hubby wanted some fish for lunch. Saw many mast-like things but a bit confused as to where the right one would be. Will be back tonight for New Years' celebrations.
Well shiver me timbers, I must admit that I am a complete landlubber as a pirate!!. I know the distances but got completely bamboozled by the bearings.
I spent my lunch break chasing this scurvy dog around Nth Sydney Park but came unstuck quickly with a misinterpretation of the instructions. I called a fellow old salt, who quickly remedied my geographic embarrassment. Fortunately he stayed on the line as blow me down some bilge sucking scurvy dog has horns-waggled the artillery.
After providing some much needed info, I headed off to a likely GZ, Thar she blows I exclaimed as I spotted the mizzen. A quick inspection revealed the booty which contains many dabloons and pieces of eight.
A very enjoyable excursion and a fitting cache for my 3000th find - gets a scurvy favourite.
Thanks Baktrak for accompanying virtually me on my 3000th find.

Reperio at 1430 with Clever Monkey.
With Clever Monkey in Sydney for the day, I headed down from Newcastle to join him in a day of caching. After we bid Zalgariath farewell, we headed off to tackle this one largely on his recommendation...and boy we were not disappointed. As we delved into the clues, we immediately got a snag as we were simply not thinking on a grand enough scale. Once we had our minds on the job, we made our way through this wonderfully laid out multi until we had our GZ in sight. Once we were at GZ, the cache was spotted, and what better way to finish off a classy multi than with a classy hide. Great cache all round...and highly recommended.

Found this one with Warren on an afternoon of "lets stay clean" before jumping on a plane to the US to go find some amazing caches. Well now i'm back home logging the caches from my trip and I wanted to add that this cache rates as one of the best finds of a world wide search for cool hides. As such it earned every bit of it's favorite point from me. Simply a must do for anyone looking for a good cache to do in Sydney, it will test your brain
With so many favourite points, just had to give this one time and pre googled pirate measure to save time.
Parked me vessel outside the gates to a battle inside between rats and bears in which bears were victorious. The game they play in heaven me hear.
Set sail to ye fired canon, banded tower, gates, path and nets. To a war, which one as the chants heard from ye stadium was ethouric. Must be a hanging inside, oh 34-28 full time rugby score, aargh, I'm off to my war, then X, I think it's an X, then for the booty.
No sails on the mast, drop the anchor, placed me hand on someting odd, aaarr, there she be !! OMG, stunningly beautiful rich in splender, marked me visit in blood.
FP, set sail again for the rocky isles of home in the direction towards Sri Lanka

A fun adventure to learn some new terminology and to follow vague directions. We needed help at one point but we eventually spotted the clever hide.
A truly great voyage!!!

Dropped off a Trackable - Dad's Longs Peak Geocoin. It's goal is "To travel thoughout the world visiting old railroad steam engines and to visit with as many boy scout troops as it can. Please attach photographs of this coins travels. These were two of my father's passions.". Hope it continues on its journey.
Brilliant fun. In Sydney for work. Took some Arrr and Arrrr (rest amd recreation in non-pirate speak) to explore some nearby caches. Awesome cache.and treasure. Directions spot on. Definitely a favourite. TFTC
Well now, if this chest hadna already been given the title "GOTM" by those scurvy dogs at GCNSW I believe it could have taken the silver home again this month. On me first voyage of the new year into some old charted waters I decided to hunt for the recently re-buried* "Aarrr!". I was tempted by a quick monster hunt part way through but once that beast was slain it was back on course. I think a sextant would be of more use than these new fangled Geepy Essers as despite breaking out the good abacus at each turn the Ports-o-call were easy enough to spy even when the undead monkey had a crack at navergation.
In less time than it takes to drink a moon turns payment in rum the treasure was found and checked in triplicate accounting for annual projected growth over the next quarter and dividend returns of blue chip stock in the Bahamas... oh sorry, but I afraid you've chartered an accountant, not a pirate. We sail the wide accountant-sea. Divide, explore, the funds offshore, and skirt the shoals of bankruptcy. Now run along good chap, there are doubloons to reconcile into hard currency.
*Modern scoundrels not be needing shovels and picks to hide their loot!

Found with the assistance of Bobmcfurgson. Amazing camo. I did overlook it a few times. TFTC
Aarrr! "Temporary" be a flexible term around these parts. Ye give the crew a few hours shore leave, and before ye know they've all deserted, and ye find yerself alone in a bar in Queensland, and months have gone past. And ye be hassled by some small flock of birds. 'Tis all fixed, shiny and new. De-antified and full of booty. Jump to it ye scurvy bunch!
Aaar! She be temporarily aground while we scrub the barnacles off and sober up. Keep a sharp eye out, we'll soon be off to sea again.
Arrrrrh one for those from the small land of far... Where do yee pirates buy their birthday gifts... Argos... Off to sniff more rum... Such a cool cash... It shivered me timbers...
Fimbulisen, you have a gift for making me scratch my head and swear at you... This is due to your camo being awesome... and my inability to read the description correctly! Once misconceptions were forgotten, finding this cache became much easier! Thanks for an awesome cache!
Irishtown Park Geocoin wanted to stay but the ants scared him so he only visited...

Found with the geo-crew before taking to the high seas from Mosman wharf to Vivid. Sailed around for 30 minutes or so till we reached GZ, the crew unaware that the necessary preparation of charts had been completed by me earlier in the day (aided by a knowledge of the area). We then managed to fit in a drink at the bowling club and a feed at the Nth Syd Hotel before we were press ganged to cross the brightly lit waters. Great hide and a favourite from us, although there's a squillion ants in the cache. Many thanks fimbulisen
According to my profile this is my first find for 1941 days - 5 1/2 years. Nice walk around a park I normally just walk past on the way to/from work. Nice creative cache container and I'm not the only one to think so. The bag has split and become the home to a nest of ants (not the bitey kind, just the little kind).
Aha! Fimbulisen, ye've earned me life-long admiration and respect, for a well planned and executed cache!
Me crew and vessel, the intrepid Xtrailus, be blown off course from our voyage o'er the great sand-stone curtain to the unexplored interior (we hears there be a great inland sea to be found and plundered!)
Hiding from the bluster and gale that today presented, we took refuge in this promising port in North Sydney, and founds ourselves with a mystery in hand.
Never a crew to stand down from such a treasure-hunting adventure, we scratched our heads and puzzled through to find your half-sunken vessel and its amazing camo.
Alas and no surprise, tis no treasure within (and we added none besides), but we left our moniker on the parchment and set sail once again for other adventures.
We hopes to see ye upon the high seas afore we all find the deep.

One of the best inner-city caches I have done in a while. Using the old charts of Goo-gol and some knowledge of these seas, I was able to do steps 1-4 at home. Picked it up at the X and set out for Samoa, finding the excellently camoed cache at the mast's heel. The measurements were spot on, and it was enjoyable learning about and converting measurements of yesteryear into metres. TFTC
Aarrr! Amazing. Sea-rched through many o' me lunch-breaks to find this one. Stumbled on the 'X' by complete accident. Once I was looking at the 'well braced mast' it became very easy. Amazing cache! Fantastic camo! TFTC!
