Friday 28 June 2013 - cool overcast winter's day perfect for a brisk walk around North Lynham over a couple of hours. Didn't know that the cache needed maintenance until arriving. The plastic container and a small blue toy was found at the location. The log book was missing. Didn't collect the container as the message below was read after we had left. Location is difficult, dirty, slimy and slippery - was wearing trekking boots was only just ok.

We are currently discussing the possibility of a hand over of this cache to Delta Response Team
If the next finder could collect the container and then email me that would be greatly apreciated
Nice quick find after falling over twice getting to the cache lol the rain earlier made the terrain slippery. Took nothing left TB TYFC
An easy find whilst out on an early morning ride. Traversing the terrain in bike shoes was a little challenging and I did wonder whether or not I was providing early morning entertainment for the people living in the nearby houses...and to top it off my pen decided not to work, so the scratchy log entry for the 7/2/13 is ours! Regardless, I enjoyed the experience and without the excuse of finding a cache I would not have ridden through the streets of this suburb - thank you to the Lego Crew.
Made a quick grab with great mate Joolay to keep up my run of a cache every day in January. Could do with a new LB. TNLN. TFTC
Just a lucky find... Got to the location and after confirming I was in the right spot spotted it in about 10 seconds even though it was well concealed.
This is a sorry looking old cache. Thanks to the previous cacher for a new log page.
Today the temp in Canberra is supposed to hit 37 degrees, so I plan to spend as much time in the car as possible - park and grabs are the order for today - no long walks up hills.
Came at this one from the North Lynham side. Log has dried out but looks full, so added a sheet from my notebook. Container lid is cracked.

It was getting hot by the time we got this one. Pretty steep to get to GZ at the cache was located fairly quickly. Found on our last caching day of 2012.
It's getting really hot for caching now. So we sent C@H to go and fetch this one. Lazy of us, but ...... He's got to be useful sometimes
An awesome cache name, but sadly that's where the awesomeness ended. The lid is cracked and the logbook is waterstained, so there's obviously water entering the container. The location is pretty ordinary, particularly compared to the crouching tiger .
TNLN - Thanks The Lego Crew

Out Today with Tealby for a moring of caching around Belconnen ,on afar better day than yesterday.
A "interesting" location and not so interesting hide, it was partly exposed but as it was a nice sunny day and no-one about found quickly.

Despite the name, this cache was clearly visible as we approached. Mtrax covered a little better when replacing the cache. Be careful - the drain is slippery when wet. TFTC.
Quick find at lunch time while trying to solve other local caches. Thanks LC for the cache. Log very damp. Lid of container cracked. I suspect contaner does not like the UV radiation.
Log extremely damp.
Sorry I wasnt carrying a spare.
Lid of cache is cracked and may be the cause of log being so wet.

Found with Daphoenix and missrenae,
Walked past it, looked quite hard, went back, surprised I missed it on the first pass.
Cache is damaged and wet, couldn't sign the log. Didn't add anything because this cache it not looking too good.

Quick find, log book totally soaked and lid is cracked, placed a couple of fresh sheets to sign log, dropped off TB, the cache container will need attending to. Cheers
Out on a cold night ride, came across the cache fairly easily...
Unfortunately, i was unable to sign the log as it was too moist and the lid has seen better days..
as others have mentioned this needs a Maintenance call..
Thanks TLC

Found in pieces, marked what was left of the log book. Returned to where it looked like it may have come from. Needs some TLC.

Found with The Split and Cleared For Takeoff. We slipped and slided our way to GZ recalling echos up and down the drain and came across the cache in bits and pieces all over the ground. It looks like local hidden dragons (birds) have taken a liking to it!
Anyways we imprinted rather than wrote on the saturated log sheet and put it all back together in the location we assume was intended. We were soon on our way on a muggle free morning. Thanks for bringing us here.

The lid of the cache container is cracked in a couple of places and the log sheet is completely wet and not really serviceable. Suggest new lid and log book, which we would have done ourselves but we didn't have the correct gear with us. Cheers.
A walk from the previous cache along the suburban streets for Mrs Shifter brought her to the correct area. She approached GZ and then saw a possible hiding place, which was empty. Looking around, the container was spotted at the bottom of the drainange channel, so it was retrieved, cleaned out and returned to the likely hiding place. The container definitely needs replacing and the location needs to be checked.
Thanks The Lego Crew
Thanks The Lego Crew
This cache really needs to be replaced. If someone doesn't replace it soon, I think I might, since I live reasonably close.
162. Found after doing the posting in Dickson. Yes the cache container and logs need some TLC. TFTC
Lots of water in container thru 2 cracked corners. TNLN TFTC cheers aussieangel
Walked from the Church across the road. The cache lid is cracked and the entire contents are wet and mouldy. This one will need some love!
Cheers

I could have sworn I had already found this cache.
But apparently not
But now we have changed it to a smilie.
Thanks for placing this cache

A nice quick find @ 1805, mostly due to the cache being half-exposed. Looks like the cracked lid is less than waterproof, as there was a layer of water in the bottom of the container, making all the paper trades into so much papier mache. Surprisingly the log was still dry, so I made my mark and tried to fix up the camo to hide the cache a little better, as well as to hopefully provide a modicom of rain protection. TNLNSL-TFTC.
Once GPSr settled down, a quick find. The lid needs replacing, as two corners are perished. Thanks The Lego Crew
We parked in Thake Place and walked the short distance to GZ. The ground underfoot was rather wet and slippery though. We spotted the hiding place and soon had the cache in hand. The container has seen better days and really needs a new lid. We dropped off the Action Man TB and signed the log. TFTC
A lovely final weekend of vacation spent caching around home (Canberra). Signed log: TNGD. TFTC!
Quick one on the way home.

Found late at night with Browngang and Robmc. I think the hidden dragon refers to the nearby drain but I'm not sure. Nices easy find. Thanks for the cache Lego Crew.
Our last cache of the night.
Very slippery around the mouth of the dragon.
Thanks, Robmc.

The_Lego_Crew has been attempting to solve several issues for our caches however with the current times of school work overload we would love a helper or two? If anyone would like to mother or just watch over a nearby cache to them this would help us greatly.

The challenge here was being unfamiliar with the lay of the land and getting caught on the wrong side of Ginninderra Drive.
Once we got to the right side of the tracks, the find was easy.
Thanks Lego Crew.

Found easily enough, but the lid is broken, although things seem to be holding up OK.
Found during a visit to Canberra for the week. Thanks for the cache Lego Crew!
This cache could do with a new container - or at least a new lid. And it also appears that the log book has disappeared - there's just a small sheet of paper, donated by a previous cacher. A quick find. TFTC, and hi from Melbourne!
4th find on a lunch time cache with allrounder. A nice easy find after i gave up on using my Iphone application and just looked around. Lid is broken and the bag holding the log is wet on inside.

Great caching day with sunny and warm weather today...Mr Bushies2 found it but the lid is broken and logbook damp so he replaced it with new logbook. Thanks The Lego Crew.
Stop by this one on route to another cache tonight with MV who had previously logged this cache.
As previous logs suggest - the cache needs a little TLC. We managed to squeeze our name on the damp log.

This cache is in desperate need of maintenance; container lid is cracked and the log so sodden that it can't be signed.
Found this one really easily. It desperately needs maintenance; lid cracked so container leaking and the log was just a sodden mess that was unable to be signed.
At first we looked a bit higher than necessary, but with done more accurate readings we found the cache quickly.
Lid of container is cracked and not watertight, log is soaked and unusable and ziplock baggie is wet inside so no use protecting new paper. Left a single piece of paper but doubt it will last.
Was very hesitant about the slopes but we made it through OK, down then up and down and up...in the dark with our tiny little torches and looking forward to the day our brighter ones arrive. Log is soaked through as the containers lid is cracked. Put another temporary piece in but I fear it will not last long. Thank you!
I would've loved playing and exploring in this area as a kid. Ms RedcrowX spotted this one straight away. Log was completely soaked so we left a trading card, as we couldn't sign the log.TFTC

This cache is in urgent need of maintenance
It was full of water and must have washed into the drains in the recent rain. Rehid as close as we could covered with bark.
Unfortunately the lid is cracked & we found the cache half full of water. The log book was in a ziplock bag but it was open and therefore saturated. Needs some TLC
#1614 Found on our Canberra caching weekend. We're really taking advantage of this great winter weather and enjoying seeing the sites via caching. TNLN Thanks The_Lego_Crew - see maintenance log
This one appeared to have been muggled with the cache open and contents strewn about. I pieced it together and went on my way.
Somehow we got the geomobile within 20m of this hide, which we were all thankful for after a long day of hunting. We enjoyed a bit of a drive around this suburb which seems really nice. The log is full and needs replacing, but we found a empty spot and signed away. TNLN, TFTC
=) log is full and needs replacing and the container lid is cracked. otherwise, nice park and grab cache - nothing like taming a drive by. tftc =)
Nice quick after dinner cache in the dark as usual. Cache was a bit out in the open so we gave it a bit more protection. TFTC
Discovered this cache sitting in the open and with a cracked lid. Despite a cm or so of water, the log book was still dry in its bag, so I emptied out the water, left teh cache upside down and covered it with bark. TFTC
