Gotta love a quick multi in the morning, it is never something an will complain about. Rather quick and easy find after doing what is needed with me soon finding the cache. Was disappointed to see that the container for the cache itself was missing with only 2 zip lock bags containing the cache contents remaining....... anyways thanks for the cache.

Just the parents out today, and it does make the whole experience a lot faster. A bit sad really because the kids would have loved to spotthe container at GZ. Thanks for doing all the work to replace the container and we found it in great shape.

*4 Feb 2019, Found @2:44 pm, Find # 2467.*

Needing a multi cache for the calendar this was a good choice. After a trip to Costco with my muggle son, I convinced him to allow me to make the detour here. I allowed my son the experience of finding the cache with a little help. He was a little unsure of the cache guardian and whether he should touch it or not. Both cache and log book were found in good order.

**Thanks to MDnG for placing this cache.**

The area was deserted when I was here, and I couldn't find anything where my GPS was pointing to. A little confused by the hint I widened my search and then it all made sense. Really cool cache container. Thank you!

We forgot the coordinate bit to start with but when we remembered it was an awesome find! Thanks

Targeting some multis today, I managed to project the waypoint at this one (after looking at the nesting boxes) and made a very. It’s find at ground zero. A fabulous cache container! Yet when quizzed, he knew nothing about insurance. Well to be honest, he refused to speak to me. Perhaps he wasn’t getting paid! TFTC MDnG

Gorgeous hide. Found with MB_941645 on a blowy day

15-Sep-18
Probably a good thing I didn't have the four-legged geocritters with me.
That could have ended badly - for the cache... Surprised
I found the old hide and then refreshed the cache page.
A new calculation presented a cute cache, not too far away.
Picked up the bits of swag from the original and dusted them off before adding them in to the new M*****t.
One of my favorite critters.
Thanks for the cache Rigger64 & MDnG.

So a weekend turned into almost 3 full weeks and my HUGE thanks to the very patient and tolerant kmace who not only provided accommodation for myself but also for Rex [:X]Smile[:X]

Rex also loved the beaches and the seagulls so there were many walks on the beach, some in pouring rain and gusting winds but that's what being a dog owner is about [^]Wink
During this time some fantastic caches were found SmileCool and some adventures occurred Big Grin[^]CoolWink

17th day of the trip and 2 Sad DNFs with 6 Smile cache finds.
Found the 1st cache about 3pm and the last about 11pm because some days that's just how the day rolls Razz

Rex and I thoroughly enjoyed our wander through this wetlands area CoolSmile
Came in and made the find quicker than expected here SurprisedSadTwisted as the cache was open and everything was spread around TwistedSadTwisted
Cleaned it all up as best as I could and here's hoping that it stays hidden and in place for some time now!
Had fun doing the projection and when in phone range, there is a neat little assist in the Geocaching Toolbox where you can download the cache coords and do the projection, all on the one page Cool[^]
My Montana GPSr also does projections [^] in case I'm out of phone range.

Out for a day of caching with my son and a friend, thought this reserve might be a good spot to wear the little one out. Anyway, this was really good in that we went to the spot, then did the projection, and I pointed the little one in the general direction of the cache, and off he went. Pretty soon he spots it, and brings it back. Fantastic, this is how caching should be. Very Happy Signed log, swaps for the little one, then replaced with just a little more camo. Thanks for the cache!

Most appropriate on this wet day that I visit the Wetlands. Certainly had an aroma at this location that I hadn't noticed at various other spots on the wetland, not sure if it was the area, or the extra water and stirred up something.
Had to wait for the slasher to finish working in the area before I was able to enter and start the hunt. Clearly been a long time since he last visit. Cache was eventually found after my calculations were clearly a bit off.
Thanks for bring me here and the cache Rigger64

After yesterdays 37 degree caching trip I decided to wait until the afternoon after the cool change had come through before I headed out for a couple of hours today.
It was a much more pleasant 25 degrees so I decided to do a few multis and ended up finding 5 and DNFing 1 of them.
Gathered the clues nice and easily and also a nice easy find once at GZ. Yay.
Thanks Rigger64 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Beautiful outlook here as we cycled along. Followed the directions as stated and soon had the cache in hand. Signed the log and all back safe again. Thanks and spotted the nesting boxes.

Good to practise projecting waypoints with a proper GPSr. As usual the software on the GPSr leaves a bit to be desired when it comes to user friendliness....

11-Nov-16
With the finer weather there were ample muggles out today but fortunately we had this one accounted for rather quickly. Cache found in good condition and well concealed
Many thanx to Rigger64 for the cache and recent finders for the maintenance

Find #2474

I was here a few weeks back but didn't make the find and added this one to my watch list. I saw that another cacher had found it and relocated to where the projection and hint directed. So after a find on the other side of the wetlands at lunch time today I headed around to look for this one. I was lucky this time as I headed straight to where I remembered from last time and spotted the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed the paper left by the previous finder and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Rigger64 and thanks to Deepsky24 for finding this one when I couldn't.

19-Oct-16
I was unaware there were wetlands in here. The places you discover with caching! I'm usually a little uncomfortable starting a cache where the last log is a DNF knowing it may not be there, but figure it's a bonus if it is. I'm still a bit of an amateur when it comes to projections but this one didn't seem too difficult. Cache was nowhere to be seen after looking for 15 mins until I spotted it lying in the open ground about 15 metres away from where I think it should have been. The log was missing. I left a piece of scrap paper inside, which I signed and left it under some bark by the tree where I think GZ was. CO might want to check it out though.

A great spot. Thanks for the multi Rigger64.

06-Oct-16
Not for the first time I seem to have inexplicably struggled on a cache that was easy peasy for every other cacher! Did the projection and searched; Searched a wider area focussing on the hint; Wandered around aimlessly poking things! Thanks anyway - It was a beautiful spring morning down by the wetlands.

I've put off doing this cache thinking that it would be difficult for me. But when I thought about it and gave it a go it was really easy. Found during my lunch break today. Thanks for bringing me to this pretty part of Seaford. TFTC

Another easy find, and that completes the series minus the one that I unfortunately couldn't locate. TFTC for the series, I enjoyed the walk on my day off!

12-May-15
Easy multi on this cold, wet, and dreary. "Too wet to go out, and too cold to play ball" but it didn't stop me from caching! My 5th multi of May and first find of the day.

28-Mar-15
That has to be the easiest multi I've ever done. Cache was in a plastic bag which was odd. Nice place here. Very peaceful. Tftc

16-Feb-15
Nicely done cache. Found the posted co-ords, performed the calculations and turned around and saw the cache. It had been left exposed, but thankfully still there. Retrieved and signed the log. Replacing was a tad more difficult as muggle after muggle walked past. Finally there was a break in the traffic and I replaced with a bit more camo. Thanks Rigger64 for another great one.

Walking in the general direction of where we needed to be I was distracted watching a Willy Wagtail doing his dance. Thinking the Chief would stop to do his projection it seems he figured out the cache backwards and walked straight up to the cache! He beat me to it! TFTC

Out for a quick walk after work and grabbing a cache or two.
Decoded this one as I was leaving to office and homed straight in on the prize.

Nice day to be outdoors at places like this. Very peaceful. Now for projecting a waypoint. Tried to guess the angle and distance at first. Not much at that spot, then pulled out the required tools and hit the mark spot on. Only a few meters from my guess. Not too bad if only I had found it the first time. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kems

A nice, quick multi as I continued my way around the wetlands. I was wishing I had unloaded my mountain bike but it was a nice day for a walk and I did plenty of walking.

It's the beginning of National Blood Donor Week, so after attending a very nice morning tea at the Melbourne Town Hall Hall with my family and some of my fellow donors, I had a ticket for the entire Metro system sitting in my pocket, and would have been a fool not to take advantage of it.

The glorious weather during the week had broken just in time for the weekend, so my planned big day of caching was scaled down a tad, but there was still one cache I was determined to get, even if it meant a drenching. So after a bit of shopping, I left the others to make their own way home, and jumped on the Frankston train with a minute to spare.

I like a nice offset multi, especially when the sun has finally come out. All is good.

Quite an easy find once I remembered how to project. Hope this cache is not accidently uncovered by the local kids - they have built a couple of cubbies and one is almost on top of the cache.

08-Oct-12
The start of another brilliant TDC (The Demolition Crew) run which saw us travel from central Melbourne all the way down to Mornington, collecting over 30 finds for the night. Some great caches and great company. We were 4 up for a while being myself, TrailRunning, Quasar3671 and Rebel Acts, some hard-hitters there to be sure... But Q had to part company early in the night, to head to Brisbane in his new Prado for family matters. My first time caching with Rebel Acts, and what a fantastic bloke, and a fantastic night had by all. Really enjoyed how the team worked all together, it was a lot of fun.

Nice simple multi which we were straight onto. Thought we saw another cacher here, but were mistaken. TFTC.

08-Oct-12
Another Monday night comes around and I have just arrived back from a great non-caching weekend near Benalla. Blacklegend is on his way down from Tocumwal and is ready to roll on a great route planned for The Demolition Crew. As Quasar3671 is moving north to Brisbane later tonight, the crew only have a few hours together for what was to be a great night's run down to Mornington.

With Quasar3671 having to leave at about 8 pm, the third spot for the night appeared out of the blue in the form of RebelActs who was looking to do some night caching on his own before he called me and asked to join in. Absolutely I say, and he is soon on the way to Seaford to catch us there. The run started in central Melbourne with the members of TDC who hadn't collected Magnum Opus signing the log (All the members of TDC have now complete the Danozz puzzle series!).

This cache was one of the caches I signed tonight. After a quick drive from another nearby cache we soon had this cache found. Interestingly I thought I recognised another cacher, but from a distance my eyes were not so good. A case of mistaken identity. thanks.

08-Oct-12
Met up with the TDC to do a little night cache, we had a great night, I seem to keep coming back to this location over and over again. Thanks Rigger64 for the cache.

Very quick find. Driving around the wetland doing some weed spraying. Pulled up for lunch, could see it out of window. Didn't even get a chance to see if it was magnetic or grid bearings. TFTC TNLN including managing to leave the easter egg in their.

21-Aug-11
A quick and easy offset multi - in a particularly enjoyable spot after all the rain - then chestnut teal, grebes and even a black swan were on the swamp lakes. Unfortunately it also meant that the ground (like so many public grassed parks it seems) was squidgily muddy under the grass, so don't wear your best white tennis shoes Razz Left one of my personal path-tags, TFTC. Glad to have finished off the Seaford Wetlands caches now (I forget why I couldn't get this one previously).

A few dog walkers passing by on the track but pretty quiet here today.
Some pelicans in the water nearby were a pleasure to watch for a while.
Found the cache without any problems.
It was in good condition, as were all the4 caches I found down here today.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for another nice cache.

Pleasant spot in the blazing sun today. Nesting boxes look utilised. Didn't bother with the offset, walked straight to it. Thanks.

25-Dec-10
25-12 3rd find of the day at 11:09 and 1196th find in total.
With a distance of only 17 meters to offset we knew that trying to work out wether to use magnetic or grid degrees wouldn't make enough of a difference at the end so we did a bit of puddle jumping, laid in the offset and went straight to the cache.
One word sure sums up the wetlands now - WET!!
(''\(OoO)/'') Thanks Rigger64 for the caching fun!

{Sent from a mobile mind}*** Smile+

Lots of long grass here today, but it's OK, I was wearing sandals. Did the offset, and found a well hidden cache with a dry logbook. Thanks for taking us to this nice spot.

06-Nov-10
Looked for this cache early morning and no mozzies
in sight ( nor snakes ). Although I live nearby I have never
been at this spot. Amazing all the waterbirds. After the
heavy rain the area has fairly dried up and I had no
problem retrieving the cache.
Thanks for the hide.

24-Oct-10
I projected this at home the night before and saved the coords but something went astray when the GPS said I had to go 156 metres from GZ. So having never done it from the GPS, today was the day. Easy find after that and I managed to beat off the mozzies to get to the cache first. Thanks Rigger for another cache in this area.

06-Oct-10
We found this cache at 2:15pm as the final of 13 on a Middle of the Day Caching Expedition. A nice and easy waypoint projection. I think that this is the 3rd time that I have finished this series. Thanks from D & HA B-A.

19-Sep-10
Snake was pleased to get a chance out in the field to use the GPSr to project the waypoint. The cache was soon in hand, and with mozzies deciding to get in on the action, quickly logged it and was on the way again. Thanks Rigger64 for the cache.

19-Sep-10
Got to GZ, did some dead reckoning, and found the cache easily enough. Then the mozzies found me and I was out of this great birding area pretty quickly. There was even a couple in the car for a while. Thanks to Rigger64 for the cache.
