Christmas is over and Hot Cross Buns are now on sale! It must mean it’s time for a holiday. A little late to the planning for this one as we had been busy working on other things. The concept of a caching trip with OzHockeyChick was born and so here we are on Day 2 of the Epic Road Trip - ms pending the day in Rutherglen to complete some of the Mega trails.
A nice morning walk along the bike trail with BB and then some more of the EASTER 2023 trail amongst other caches. Stopped by this one. It is indeed in need of a new log and or cache.
Thanks Lostmonster & Co for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

RoamingHowie and OzHockeyChick’s Epic Road Trip - Day Two: Rutherglen powertrails.
Stepped out early to smash out this trail before the day heats up too much. Parked Sebastian at one end, took a cab to the other and slowly made our way along back to Seb.
A quick find, spotted by RH, along the way.
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Lostmonster & Co ??

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Lostmonster & Co,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

With a huge factory in the background we strolled to a site that looked like a perfect spot for a cache. We located GZ pretty quick but unfortunately the log book was saturated and could not be signed. We enjoyed the walk up to this huge manufacturing operation. TFTC.
The logbook is saturated and needs replacing asap. The container is also very wet and in the long wet grass. Tftc.sl. thanks for making us stop and look for this cache and smelling the bis units.
Cheers

Found with Crank1, Silence49, ALL7 & 63Roos. Lostmonster & Co, thank you so much for placing it and highlighting this area.
This was found while completing the BBBT series. A quick find at GZ. Thanks to Lostmonster & Co for the cache.
While riding the rail trail on this sunny day we made a quick find while listening to the sound of our breakfast cereal being made!
Thanks Lostmonster & Co for the placement.

Staying at Rutherglen we made a start on the series today and picking up a few other caches along the way and this was one of them. It was a bit fresh to start with but as the day went it become a nice autumn’s day. we did not know that Uncle Tobys factory was here, excellent!
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out & about for the day caching for this PH. Another stop. Another cache. Enjoying these walks today. Quick find. TFTC
As we headed back to Corowa this afternoon, we stopped to look for this cache. Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Lostmonster & Co for the cache.
The weather forecast wasn’t ideal for this weekend but we were keen for a weekend away before winter set in. After lots of rain overnight we enjoyed some drivebys this morning, until the roads got a bit muddy for our vehicle.
We parked at Wahgunyah and enjoyed an overcast ride with occasional glimpses of sunshine.
Thanks for the cache.

A false start yesterday and then another one today saw this cache quite illusive, but we finally made the approach from the correct direction for a quick find.
Day 3 in Rutherglen, and another big day. Firstly it was back out to the EASTER 2023 series to pick up from where we had left of yesterday when the light beat us. Again some of these were straightforward, while others took quite some searching before being finally found. In some locations the 'hairy panic'' made searching a bit complicated too.
A number of Letterboxes were also tackled on the way back for lunch.
After lunch we headed back to Wahgunyah and Corowa, this time by car, where we completed the Adventure Lab and a few multis, traditionals and another letterbox.
Another busy but successful day.
All logs signed as SKI Pair or RASP (Rebel Acts & SKI Pair).
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Lostmonster & Co.

Found by Rebel Acts, in the Company of my good friends Roostaman, Mrs Roosta and Ski Pair, we were all able to find a free week to get away and do some caching around the Rutherglen area, we had a great time despite some very frustrating hides.
This is one of the caches found today. This reminded me of my time working at sanitarium health foods, same smell.
All logs signed as Rebel Acts or RASP (Rebel Acts & SKI Pair).

Out with Bogonghazy as we spend a couple of days in Corowa. GZ was a little tricky to get to, long grass. Thanks for placing
Out for a Camping and to have a break. Great area. Out with LucifersLanLord teaching the art of caching. Smell like breakfast time. Thanks to the CO for placing the caches.
Corowa - Rutherglen - Chiltern
We have made our base at Ball Caravan Park Corowa for a few days geocaching arounnd the local area.
Lots of history & wineries in this area. Geocaching has been a wonderful way for us to explore the region.
We have all grown up with Uncle Tobys, never new that it was based in this small town. The smell comming from it today was if they were making muesli.
A quick find at GZ

Found after attending the 2022 Mega event at Wangaratta.
I drove across from Adelaide with Freddo. We took a week to get there and back as we meandered our way around northern Victoria, camping mostly along the river and generally avoiding contact with other people as far as possible to minimise covid risks.
We targeted some specific caches of interest, but also took the opportunity to find other random caches opportunistically as we were passing. Most of the puzzle caches we found were solved prior to leaving Adelaide in preparation for the trip.
We were passing by and saw the 'Uncle Toby's' sign and thought that there must be a cache here. And sure enough...
Thanks Lostmonster & Co for the cache.

Second find today. Braved the long long grass.
e.Gregory1 and Freddo decided to travel to Wangaratta for Geocaching Victoria’s first 2022 Mega event. The attraction of GeoMaze icon was just too tempting. We packed the Land Cruiser for a bubble environment. There would be some public exposure but we would be keeping it minimal. Fortunately we did not bother with any warm clothes. Fortunately we packed some Bushmans with +20% DEET. There were caches to find and we found caches. We saw a lot of interesting places and met the occasional geocacher or two in the field.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Today we travelled from Benalla to Corowa and then over Albury/ Wodonga and then back to Benalla, travelling over many different roads to gather various types of caches. Thank you to CO for placing these caches in there location s. TFTC
Staying at Winton but today visiting Corowa, Rutherglen, Albury and Wodonga and caching along the way. Variety of caches found and interesting places visited. Thanks to the CO for the caches.
Delightful hug-from-grandma smells radiating from Uncle Tobys today. Not the silos... they smelled like grandma's cow paddock.
Some mighty tall paspalum here... TFTC Lostmonster & Co.

No pen or pencil so I’ll return to write up the log when out of lockdown #6. 1327hrs/Sunday 8 August’21.
Good on ya Uncle and yippeee for a quick find. Time to get out on the MTB and enjoy some local history in the flat country! Have to say I was happy to have a quick bingo moment. In Rutherglen not so far from home to practice setting up the new travelling van and grab a few caches! TFTC and the FUN!
Well what a delightful day emerged from last night which had a little rain.
We decided to head to the Corowa and Wahgunyah area and find some caches along the way.
There was a little evidence of the overnight rain but most roads and tracks were generally dry and the sunshine appeared and in the end we had around 23 degrees with a gentle mild breeze.
We found a very interesting mixture of caches today and really enjoyed the various locations and hide.
Thanks to Lostmonster & Co for this cache, it was nice to see this place as we do eat a bit of their product.

On the way back into Corowa. Easy find. Saw tbe big uncle Toby's factory on the way in. Must be a big employer. Thanks for the cache.
Maintenance performed. Due to finders suggesting the log book was full and ripped, and the container was falling apart for the last 12months I have replaced the container and put a new log book in. Again, replace the cache as it has reportedly been muggled a few times. The next person might want to add a slightly bigger container or a plastic bags to keep the container dry in the winter. Was fairly simple to find but hard to keep my shoes dry running across the wet grass.
Was it the urge to go travelling?
Was it being cooped up with the Co-vid19 virus?
Was it the draw of the sunshine up north?
Was it the bite on the rod of the great Murray Cod?
Was it running out of the fine liqueurs from the Rutherglen wineries?
Whatever it was, the team dusted off the caravan and scraped off the mould, and got out of home.
After being cooped up for the last few months with Co-vid19 virus we finally got let out of the house – whoo hoo - parole! We’re free, after the police check point on the Hume Fwy leaving the Mitchell Shire checking every vehicle. And besides we needed to get back to the Rutherglen wineries as we finished all our liqueurs while locked down. OK, any excuse to go travelling. We love it. So we spent a couple of days free camping on the Murray River, having some time out, some time to re-coop, keeping warm by the camp fire and in the local wineries as well, spending our money supporting the local businesses.

Found with nibletricecakes on a long long weekend in Albury. A very quick find. TFTC
Well that’s very cool! A nice fast find by GLISS! At this one. A fav from me
Down in the borderlands for a weekend of bike riding and kayaking the cache trails with the mob from canberra.... well minus the riding and paddling.. us injured folk and our drivers (GLISS!) are instead exploring the district by car!! Such a beautiful place to visit. Thanks so much to everyone who has placed caches in the region for us to explore. Thanks for the cache!

Found on the morning after seeing none other than Sir Elton John at All Saints Estate last night; getting some caches early before the 40 degree heat expected later today. Wanted to get this cache while staying in the area as I thought it was pretty neat that this famous brand had its factory nearby. Smelt of oats in this area - thought it was hilarious! Quick find at GZ, but the container is very rusted, the lid has snapped off and the only sign-able piece of paper was very small - will need some maintenance. Nevertheless, awesome location. TFTC!
It was a surprise to find out that Uncle Tobys products are made out here in the backwaters of Victoria and not in one of the larger towns/cities that surround it.
A straightforward find but like others have said, the cache is need of some TLC. No problem signing the log, though, with my super dooper power tank pen.
Thanks for the hide Lostmonster & Co.

Finally found this one, cache lid fell off! A little hesitant walking in the long grass on a hot day. TFTC
Weather was crap and traffic heavy yesterday, so we decided to get these today. [email protected] deg. but with wind chill factor 1.5 deg. We must be bonkers ! Could smell the 'vitabrits cooking this morning. Cache where it sould be, but a bit damp and log almost full. Maybe a zip-lock bag over it would help. TFTC Lostmonster&Co.
Found whilst out on a caching trip and lunch date with geokid#3. An easy find. Log is damp but signable
In the area catching up with my geo buddy Happy Pants and putting some smiles on the map.
Who doesn't love their uncle Toby's!
Who doesn't love their uncle Toby's!
Finally managed to turn this frown into a smilie after coming up empty handed back in June 2013, only took six years to make my way back into Wagunyha to make a very quick find. Container was a little worst for wear but still managed to get the log signed. Found with omegaman1971 while exploring the area grabbing what caches we came across. Long live the choc chip muesli bar! Thanks Lostmonster & Co for the cache.
Easy find while walking the rail trail. Needs a new log and some TLC. Topendteam TFTC
The things we learn through geocaching ... never wondered where these products are made, but now we know. Nice fragrance in the air.
