Three day Melbourne Dash.
Day One: Gumeracha to St. Arnaud
Weather: warm!
A quick find in an easy spot to pull over. I’m a bit puzzled by the previous DNF - the user has no finds, this seems like a strange place to start. Mt. Monster doesn’t look all that impressive from here, but it’s worth a trip to the top for the view of the surrounding country.
Thanks again Beaker.

Could not find a broken lid or some sort of container anywhere - looked by the fence, around the tree and in the tree. Cannot find it anywhere!

Having come down to Naracoorte to explore the caves and do some caching, today was the day to finally drive home; of course, though, I had to find a few caches along the way. Another cache that I did not find on my way to Naracoorte, and it was a nice quick find on the way home.

After attending the farewell event for the Mega at Millicent, the time had come to make my way back to Adelaide, return the little camper van, and head over to Western Australia to finally visit family
The cache was located easily enough, and with my name added to the log book, it was off to the next adventure
Thank you -Beaker- for creating the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Needed to stretch my legs but I nearly got blown away!
Time to head home from the Mega event, October long weekend in Millicent. I’m going to work on getting my ‘finds’ milestone before I hit my driveway
It will all depend on how much rain I run into on my drive ️

Today it was back on the road again with ilook4geo after the week's lockdown in Mount Gambier. It was good to be caching again and our travels took us north and away from the rain, cold and strong winds of the last few weeks.
With so many caches on offer, it was a case of one, two, skip a few, three, four, skip some more. With the travel time needed we still found enough caches to keep us happy for the day.
This was one of the caches we found and we say thanks to Beaker for placing this cache.

Being free again from lockdown and able to travel and cache with goingplaces2, it was time to get on the move. Found a variety of caches and all logs had both names noted on them. Cache and log were both in good order. TFTC.
Stopped here after finally clearing the road works, not the best time to travel this road. TFTC
Heading north after 14 months in the south east. Grabbed this one on the way.

Found during a camping trip to the Coorong and the Southeast areas with brisal5 and I in one vehicle, and e.gregory and friend in the other. We travelled around the Narrung Peninsula and down the Coorong where we spent the first night camped out at Tea Tree Crossing. Enjoyed some challenging driving and eventful cache finds, wandering bush tracks and strenuous sand dune climbs in very scenic areas. The second night saw us camp out in Little Dip before meandering the country roads in search of an assortment of Traditional, Earth, Multi and Puzzle caches further down the coast before heading back home via Lucindale, Padthaway and Keith. Thanks for the cache -Beaker-!
On the way from Adelaide to Portland, decided to do some caching to break the trip up. A nice quick find. TFTC TNLN SL
This weekend, I headed to the limestone coast / south-east for cave diving. On Friday night, I drove via the Coorong rode via Kingston, Beachport, and Millicent to Glencoe. Saturday was spent cave diving near Tantanoola and Engelbrecht Cave in Mount Gambier, and then Sunday after a cave dive, I returned to Adelaide via Mount Gambier, and the wine bottle/glass geoart in Kalangadoo. I was expecting a nice weekend of sunny weather, but instead, there was wind and rain for the most part.
Today, I travelled from Mount Gambier to Adelaide, and made a few geocaching stops along the way. By mid afternoon, I had arrived at Kalangadoo, and mentally prepared myself in completing the wine bottle/glass geoart. I had prepared myself for that duration, but was still hoping that it wouldn't take as long as it did. It was then on to driving home via Naracoorte and Keith.
This was my final geocache find for today, and it was a quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Beaker for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

What a great spot to hide and a good spot to stop. Than you for the break. K we this was here so stopped rather further back. The sun is going down now and the wind a little more cool than earlier so travelling tonight should be a bit easier. Although the trucks are pretty fast I am am pretty tiny in comparison! TYFTC SLTNLN a fave just cos!
Nice and easy. Stopped due to a phone call then found a casch nearby. TFTC
Tftc we have been using caches to keep us on the right track so a double thanks to you
