It doesn't look like the cache owner visits geocaching.com any more. I'd like to suggest that after a number onf DNFs being logged and a call for maintenance with no response has been logged, that this cache is archived.
I looked for this on 22/11 (in the dark, so I didn't log because I like to look again in daylight (or with a better torch or whatever b4 I log a DNF
I came back, by bicycle, on my way to something in town on 3 December, and looked high, and even low, in/on every possible tree/etc in the area and still didn't find it ... although I did find a bit of dead tube that, once I looked at the photo am wondering if it may have been part of the cache ... no other part on the ground with it though (was under tree with the x on it near fence)
But I did find bees while looking at what I was (still am) fairly sure was the wrong tree ... if anyone wants to look in that bushy poplar closer to the road (one with an old hollow trunk inside bushy new leaves) ... BEE careful ... I got a sting! ... Originally thought it was because the bees were a bit angry about a person in a bright yellow cycling vest peering at their front door, but thinking about it later - it sort of only half stung me on my wrist and then flew away - so I think it may have got caught in the cuff or my cycling glove and started to sting because it was stuck ... because the rest of the bees were still acting normal (either way, a tree full of bees is probably not a good place to look for a cache

I looked unsuccessfully for this one before the 9:10 11/12/13 caching event and couldn't find it. I confirmed with a couple of other cachers at the event that I had looked in the spot.. I think this one needs to be checked by the CO.
Couldn't find this one - GPS didn't get me very near anything that looked likely, and as this was just an opportunistic search I hadn't downloaded the photo. Will try again...
Ok on try 5 with TKS I finally got this one. Needs new container and log but is there
Found this a while ago,
Thought I’d update my finds only a few weeks late
Very well hidden fun search

From past logs I'd say its gone. I'll be back again but will tag in need of maintenance if this continues
2013-07-14 0122 Found the remains of the container, and the hint made sense. Considered writing my name on a scrap of paper and inserting it into the remnant, but then realised that it would just become mush and be no proof of my visit.
Looks like everyone that found the damaged cache has logged it so I will also. Feel free to delete mine if you think I shouldn't log as found and I will go back again and sign the log. TFTC anyhow RatPatrolOz.

GrimRaider.

Hi RatPatrolOz,
I found this one on the ground torn in half. Someone has Muggled it. I left the remains tucked behind the sign on the big Gum Tree that is marked for removal. There was nothing else to be found.
Cheers,
GrimRaider

In desperate need of some TLC. New log required ASAP from CO. TFTC. Did the same as the last logger n put near the tree.
Found out in the open, no ends on the tube and wasn't sure where it belonged. Hidden near big tree.
Usually we go geocaching by bike back in Sweden, but sadly we couldn't fit them in to our suitcases... We managed to find this cache by foot though! Thanks for bringing OSs (us in Swedish) here!
My GPS sent me nearby but not quite there, lucky the geo kids had keen eyes for something out of the ordinary! TFTC
Nice quick find on a lunchtime run...clever...just a heads up the tree next door is being removed soon, hopefully they don't notice strange things nearby and remove
Found on the bicycle ride home today so the cache was very appropriate. Keeps our cache-a-day for 2013 on track..TFTC RatPatrolOz
#186 - 09:25; With the holiday nearing an end and having dropped the Geowife at work, I thought it appropriate to take the long way home and meander past a few caches to see what I could find. This one was nearby so popped over, only to find a muggle at the back of the premises nearby on a phone call. Think he may have thought I was eavesdropping as I loitered waiting for him to simply fininsh and go back to whatever he was doing. Whilst loitering, spotted the cache and once muggle free signed the log. Ingenious really. TFTC RatPatrolOz
Found on a morning to catch up on Canberra caches. We were stumped at first, but then something strange was spotted - ah, found it! Fantastic hide, who would've ever thought... TNLNSL. TFTC RatPatrolOz!
Grabbed this cache when I finally got my gps to behave. Nice hide and easy once you're in the right spot. I replaced the clip-lock bag (coz the other one was all torn up) and managed to avoide a nasty big spider. TFTC RapPatrolOz

In the area for a pickup so left early for some caching, I wasn't quiet sure of the clue but after looking at some likely spots I wander on the otherside of the path and there it was.. how easy is that..doh..

Rubber overpowers Rat.
Yes, vertically challenged individuals do need assistance,
particulary to replace properly.
Fortunately, that was not a problem for me.

Remarkably inconspicuous given that it isn't really: the camo works really well.
Lots of ravens observed me sign the log.

Well that wasn't what I was expecting! An interesting hide, though it left me feeling a bit tired afterwards.

Just goes to show what some experience can do! I looked for this last year when I first started caching with no success, but got it straight away this time.
Found with ClarityStorm a week or two ago, forgot to log. TFTC - nice location!
Neat 'hide'. Might need some log book redesign or replacement soon. HOTA
An interesting container, easily found

PS, the 'maintenance' attribute is set on this one, but it appears to be in good condition.

Saturday 6 June 2012 - a cool, dull, drizzling morning with muggle daughter. GZ was a distance away as the building seems to interfere with the GPS however if you go back into the open you soon realise that the building is NOT the place to find the cache. Interesting and very different container and good for muggle daughter to expect the unexpected. thx A, thx RatPatrolOz
642. Interesting container. Found without the hint, but after reading it, had a little giggle to myself. TFTC.
Interesting cache. Can't say I have ever seen one of those used as a cache container. Peeked at the hint, otherwise I don't think I would have found it. I'm not very patient in the rain.

found after being misled with the picture. Looked for the wrong "recycled" bit. Thanks.
An odd cache to say the least, definitely different which is great! Nice to see something different. Thanks for the cache.
Was on a walk thru' this area and did a few caches as I was wandering by. Very interesting hide I liked it a lot. Thanks RatpatrolOz
Quick grab after work today. Interesting hide! Signed log: TNGD. TFTC!
Found and logged at 9:35, Spending the week caching in the ACT hopeing to pick up many more
Thanks RatPatrolOz
Thanks RatPatrolOz
Found quickly after my gps settled down. Thankfully I brought my long legged shanks pony with me so grabbing the cache was no problem
Quick hunt around whilst out bike riding with 7 year old. Found fairly easily. Lid is missing from container and log is lightly damp (not surprising with this tropical weather Canberra is experiencing).
Nice container!

Last cache of the day!
This cache has been on my radar for a while, so I'm very glad to have ticked it off.
It was definitely a cache of not seeing the forest for the trees. I read the description and hint out several times to geofriend, and stomped off to where my compass was pointing. I declared it "had" to be at that spot, I just had to look hard enough. So I wondered around and muttered and searched every inch I could, before geofriend called out, "Ahh, don't you think *** looks a little suspicious?"
I could have smacked myself. Possibly the most obvious cache I've ever seen and I didn't spot it. Silly, silly, silly.
Thanks for the cache RatPatrolOz.

Found @ 1805 - my GPSr initially suggested that I search near a very shaky-looking lean-to (no one was home - shame really, I could have asked if they'd seen it), but when that failed to produce results I pulled out the alternate device - 10 metres later the cache was in hand. TNLNSL-TFTC.
