Having somehow twisted my handlebar, I wasnt able to enjoy the fun downhill as much as I wouldve normally (having to be extra cautious), but it wasnt too bad.But the main reason for excitement came when I found my first trackable in the cache! I snatched this immediately (appropriate, considering it represents greed). After a bit of trying to get the right angle, EthisEthat stepped in and took a nice photo of the duck of greed for me. TFTC
Out and about caching with unimaginativename on the trusty bicycles! After navigating a wrong turn we had to backtrack before going down the right way! After a rather rocky and bouncy ride we soon found ourselves as close to the cache as the path would take us!A quick wander later and the cache was soon in hand! UNN took the TB which was beautiful.Log signed and cache replaced! Thanks for placing this cache Diadem!
Today it was time to visit this cache for some maintenance. The cache was replaced in toto.
A quick and easy find once we’d made it to GZ. Container has seen better days, with the log book mouldy but, for today at least, dry enough to sign. Thanks for the cache Diadem & TaurusSix
You have to really want this cache to sign it. And heymissjo and I did, because it has a certain attribute we need to complete a challenge.
You see, despite there being a track that leads most of the way to GZ, it takes some finding. Never mind all the signs of permanent track closures, nor the fencing that obstructs most linear progress. Don't worry about the steady stream of muggles circuiting around the tower, nor the boys angrily grieving the loss of their cubby at a nearby disabled GZ. And once the track is located, it's also best not think about the warm, sunny conditions and the long, moist grass - slithery paradise!
But the stroll was lovely.
And picturesque.
The old, gnarled Ents still maintain their vigil of this forgotten glade.
Forgotten by all except geocachers!
Thanks to Diadem and TaurusSix for the 'not so tourist friendly' find.
It's exactly what we were looking for!

The Welder and I are in Canberra for a long weekend after a last minute change of plans. Melbournes floods and rain didn’t sound that appetizing, particularly in a swag. So here we are enjoying the sites and sunshine of Canberra collecting some target challenge caches that I had been eyeing off for a year or two. It was after collecting one of those caches last night that I realised that I fell short on an attribute… damn!! One negative attribute. After some serious searching we discovered that a cache not too far away had what we required. And so this afternoon, after a trip up to Mt Ainslie to soak up the views, we detered here to collect this much needed cache. Ahhh. Yes. Thanks for the smily.

Quick find and #3 from today. Followed lovely little roo trails almost all the way to the container. Spotted the hide from afar but given some more natural cover for the next visitor. Lid is cracked and log is very soggy so added a temp replacement in a zip lock bag. TFTC

Got it! Just watch for sensory kids as there's a little bit of easy off track walking.
Nice one to finish out the Crace series. Nice easy one to find while the grass is still low ️ TFTC. Also, slight crack in the lid, but appears to still be dry inside.
TFTC, this park is very nice and quiet (apart from the highway hahaha). Cool location!!!!!
On my way back down the hill after finding the bonus cache for the Canberra AM Lab cache, I diverted off track to head towards this hide. Cache soon in hand, logged and replaced. TFTC.
Found in the obvious place as part of the Canberra Mapping Challenge. Good to give this some love after many months between finds. Lid has a small crack but log is dry... replaced upside down to try to keep the rain out. Thank you!
One cache a day? Naaaah, not when there's such a nice little bit of bushland to wander through! Even managed to find some old beehive! TFTC!
After such a lovely walk in the reserve last night GLISS! And I decided to come back for another walk tonight this one took a little more effort and puff and a lot of torch light but we made it! Thanks for the cache.
Found with nibletricecakes. Our 2nd visit to this area. Today we walked past yesterday's find and continued on to this one. We spotted the gap in the fence and it wasn't much further to the cache. Returning to the car was a bit of an adventure by torchlight but we got there in the end. TFTC.
A nice piece of woodland I haven't been in before. Also a beautiful and serene spot... apart from the highway within eye distance. TFTC
I parked in the street and headed into the nature reserve. Just past the water tower there was a fallen tree blocking the path and as I got around this I startled a wallaby. Soon I was at GZ and had CIH. Log signed and all replaced and I noticed a better track nearby, so I followed this to get back to the street. TFTC.
Found just on dusk, in my work clothes. Better choice of shoes would have been sneakers or runners, but that's in hindsight.
Thanks for the cache, which was easily found. Took TB.

Cache 4864 on 12 Mar 2019.
I wanted to get outside after being in the office all day and what better excuse than to grab a few caches! Bobl27 and I targeted these ones for a short and pleasant walk. And it was.
This cache: after finding a nearby cache, we walked to this one, mostly on walking or wombat trails. Bobl27 made the easy find while my phone GPS pointed 20 metres away. Then popped a waypoint on the map and followed it back to the car - nice work cachly! We found a fence in our way, but a very convenient hole had been made - about human size, so we did not need to divert from the path.
Thanks Diadem & TaurusSix for the cache and the fun!

Found with AngelG27 on a warm Tuesday afternoon. Caches found quickly And easily. TFTC
Very cool hiding, ants were a bit annoying while getting it but still found it
I was in the area collecting caches so I swung past to find this one too. I found myself on the wrong side of the fence but I kept going and found a hole in the fence to slip through. When I got near to gz, I spied the telltale sign of a hide. Sure enough, the cache was hidden underneath. When I left, I discovered there was another break in the fence closer to gz so if you find yourself on the wrong side of the fence, just keep going. This was day 122 of my daily streak. TFTC
Found the gaps in fences.Nice walk through the scrub. Easy find once at gz. Tftc!
It was a beautiful day to just get out and in it. Messaged StrageTrousers that I had fixed one of the problems with my Garmin "yay" and got the comment "get out and caching in this great weather." Advice taken - was vacuuming the house when I got the reply so tuned off the vacuum and headed ourt for some fun caching dropped. So nice to be out.
Thanks for putting the cache here and giving more reasons to go explore.

Found this nice Cache together with Dino and Flintstones. Thank you for putting it out and maintaining it Diadem & TaurusSix.
Nice walk with the family in the evening sunlight. All of us needed to get out for some nature, no Hoppy today so we chose an area that was not allowed with dogs. The Gungaderra Grassland Nature Reserve was perfect for that.
This one made for a nice quick find today.
Thank you Diadem & TaurusSix for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

A nice Saturday afternoon bike ride, to complete this part of the local area.
Back into this bit of bush after a find up the hill and then another back up the highway a little. I approached this from the highway, which did mean clearing a fence, but was easily enough done. Nicely hidden this one - my 1700th find! TFTC

TFTC did a hike to get it found out in the open replaced where we thought it would be
7009 Located by baby&Mrs gopher in company with CastleKay who had been here with her family back in 2014 at 1440. Container was out in the open as we arrived. Re-hid and placed a couple of large pieces of bark in front to protect from the elements. We all enjoyed the walk through the forest with plenty of spiders webs. Leaves a bit damp from last evenings rain. SL Tnx Diadem & TaurusSix
A lunch time caching trip for a few caches in the area. Followed the fence line down from Hilltop Screwtop until I found a good place to easily cross the fence. A faint trail then led me most of the way and cache found without any problems. Thanks for the cache Diadem & TaurusSix.
A nice walk down the hill from Hilltop Screwtop cache. Quick, simple find and contents and container all in good condition. Tftc!!!
I wouldn't normally have done these caches on my own at night - aside from it being so cold - but Darksidedan, Legocacher79 were out tonight and we thought why not.
Quickly found, tried to cover a little more.

After a -7 degree morning, we took the opportunity to get outdoors during the afternoon sunshine. Cache was in sight so geokid covered it a bit better upon signing. TFTC
I took a detour on my way home, to come and find this for my daily
TFTC - nice spot to come for a walk ... took some photos, met some spiders, took some photos of spiders, and trees and things ... lol
I would have explored up here for longer but I had frozen shopping in the car that I needed to take home and put in the freezer ... which was probably a good thing because I had things I needed to do at home, rather than getting lost Geocaching/etc for hours (sigh).

This was a very quick find as the log was out on the open. The log was signed and quickly replaced with somewhat better covering. Difficult to get things to stay in position there isn't it.

I usually only run if there's something chasing me, but very pressed for time today so pulled up on the side of the highway and went for a run. Found, signed and back to the car within 5 min. Phew. TFTC
This is a nature park we have not walked through before and we enjoyed our walk today. The woodland is beautiful and the gum trees are spectacular. We found this cache with ease and continued on our walk.
Thanks for the meander,

A return visit to the area to collect this cache. I enjoyed the stroll through the reserve and made a quick find at GZ. Thanks Diadem
Approaching GZ, 20m off and I spot the cache. Hahahha. I *tried* to cover it up a bit more. TFTC!
A trek here from Hilltop Screwtop, leading Ariesz on a merry meander along imaginary trails. Easy spot from well back in the torchlight.
Found with Torrevieja at night - I'm pleasantly surprised at the variety of native plants in this reserve. Thanks for bringing us here. Tftc.
Stopped nearby to do this and three other nearby caches. Arrived at 2.30 pm. This gave me 30 minutes to find before the park became closed for the hours of 3 pm to 7 am.
Sunday 26 April 2015 - a cool overcast autumn afternoon with light rain on and off. Quick and easy find. Thx p2p. TFTC.
Decided on a long day of caching in the ACT. and left home 3 am. Had a great day with 2 events involved as well. Lots of find and (unusually) liots of dnf's as well. Met some great people and the weather was at least dry today. Finally home and exhausted by 8 pm. Thanks for putting out this cache!

Ducked out after a quiet day in the office. Still nice & warm but noticeably less light around. A quick find. Tftc Diadem.
ACTchil and I had just got Hilltop Screwtop cache and weren't far from this last one, was sprinkling at the last cache but it didn't last lolng as we had blue sky now, so smiles were back on our faces. Getting close now and not long and ACThil spotted the hiding spot. Was wondering where was the bull, but alas none around so we grabbed the container and signed the log book and back to the car. tftc Diadem

On duty looking after my cousins kids for the weekend. While the older ones were at youth group, the youngest and I went caching. We started here for an easy find. I had to lead through the bush because of the big spiders and their webs we encountered on the way. TFTC.

Looks like "emmahartnell" or somebody else who has not logged took the Parrot's Dice TB without logging it
Because I most definitely dropped it in this cache, as I had only picked it up the same day from a nearby one.

Pretty eerie at night with Roos hopping around that you can hear but not see, Tftc!
