We explored the deserted platform, then made the find - which could be seen from some distance away if you knew what you were looking at. The logs were wet and just signable. Thanks Hinklenator.

No stealth required today. Contents saturated but we have no time to dry it out. Needs checking on please.
Easy find. Thanks for bringing us to this magnificent building. The coffee shop was great.
geo-pop proudly spotted this on before me! Could not sign the log as it was completely waterlogged!
Out with The Green Geckos. This was a lovely surprise, what a beautiful station. Thank you for prompting us to go there! The cache does need either waterproof paper or a different container as it was very wet, but the station was well worth the visit.
Nice easy find due to low muggle factor. Log is very wet and I couldn't get the pen to work very well.
This is a great old station & a good place for a cache however the cache was full of water & the log saturated. A slight move & re-orientation would fix this problem.
Thanks for the hint! Log book was water logged, so I was unable to sign. Had a quiet stop here on the way to rockhampton.
What a great railway station, very interesting and a good hide. Sadly the log book is so wet it can not be used, It needs to be replaced.

I caught the train here plenty of times. Jack12/1 and I found the cache but could not sign due to paper being too wet. Didn't have any on us sorry.
Driving away from the Riverina we stopped to pick up a few caches. Thanks to all the COs for their initiative in adding to our journey by making it so much more enjoyable.
After a great weekend in Echuca we packed up and began our meandering north picking up a few different caches along the way.
We love visiting these old railway stations, the architecture and workmanship put into them shows how important they were to the towns for survival. It's great when you see one like this that is being well maintained and looking it's best and is still in use today.
The cache itself took us a little while to find and we did resort to the clue before we could add our name to the log.
Thanks Hinkenlater for the cache.

I was worried by the sign saying "bridge closed" but it had no effect on the search and may even have helped as the platforms were deserted. Beautiful historic buildings. TFTC.
Found with blossom* - fabulous railway station, wish we'd had more time to look around. Next visit!
We drove into town last night and past the station - what an amazing set of buildings and so wonderfully maintained. In fact Junee seems to have some wonderful spots to explore. This morning at 7:30 am we took advantage of the quiet to grab this cache with no muggles in sight TFTC Hinklenator
A muggle free area today as the place was totally deserted which made fro a quick easy find. TFTC Hinklenator
First for the day on the way to Kangaroo Valley from Wagga Wagga. Log paper was very damp.

Looks like we picked a great day to be in Junee. We arrived at the station to find it teeming with muggles awaiting a tourist train as part of the weekend's festivities. A few children were playing in and around the GZ but their mother soon buzzed around warning of split heads and dirty clothes. It didn't take us too long to uncover the hide and retreat to a quiet spot to sign the log. Unfortunately, the cache has become inundated with water and the log was very wet. We did our best to dry it out with some tissues before replacing. TFTC!
Found at 10:20 AM GAFF3 at a distance of 5 metres. We were hampered in our search by a couple of railway workers who were chatting down the line, but kept looking over their shoulders at us, so we had to cut to the chase quickly.
A lovely maintained building and all of the buildings in the vicinity likewise. The opulence inside would have been a contrast for some of the outlying farmers and workers to get used to.
Thanks Hinklenator.

The clue had this one quickly in hand, as I was avoiding Thomas the tank engines jovial mechanic who sat near the GZ. TFTC.
Travelling from Young to Wagga today.
A goods train was just leaving as we arrived at this very fine station.
A good hint helped locate this cache.

Fortunately the olde Junee railway station has been preserved and still shows much of it's former elegance [^]
The cache was an elegant hide too.
Not too difficult, not too easy

It was like stepping back in time. A beautiful old station. Found with Boot65. TFTC
268. Found with Relish64 and my sister. What a great place to visit and the toasted rolls inside the station are sensational. Already talking about a return journey from Canberra to further check the place out and find a few more caches. TFTC.
After leaving Oz Mega we headed off for some caching and visiting on our way to Cootamundra for the evening. We made it as far as Junee before settling in for the night and finding this cache.

Ms Bushies2 found it quickly, loved the old grand railway station. Thanks Hinklenator for the history lesson and fabulous old photos.
After a DNF up the road we were hoping this would be an easy one, lots of cars and potential for getting muggled we pressed on to search, we were just about to give up when the cache revealed itself, emptied out the water TNLN SL TFTC
It took us longer to find the way in here on bike than it did for Pete to find the cache. Surpisingly big station. TFTC.
Found with o'cholio. Vastly different eye line helped the container jump out at me. TFTC
This one also took a few visits. I have no idea how any centimeter escaped my search, but I missed the key location for ages. Oh well, it ended OK. Thanks.

I love a railway cache of any description, and on reading the listing properly and seeing the photos, I really wish we had gone inside. A brilliant old building. Thanks Hinklenator.
TFTC, Visited with trackables making a trip to Port Hacking, NSW who enjoyed the chance to experience a bit of Australias past Railway history. TNLN
Another quick litle find (our first of many Hinklenator caches for the weekend) as we made our way towards Wagga. A fantastic station, and like winglen mentioned...I wish we had looked a bit closer.
Thanks for this one.
Thanks for this one.
The awesome photos of old, emphasised the lack of quality service and a style now so not achievable at any Australian train station, which I find a real pity. However moving on to the 21st century nabbed this one with a technology we have become accustomed to.
Thanks Hinklenator for another while on our way to Wagga.

4516. [font=Century Gothic][green]What a great station. One of the team in particular is fond of old stations but we all appreciated this spot. It also gave me the chance to nab a GCA maybe.

Junee sure is a large railway town and I couldn't believe how big the buildings were but now I know why.
It took a minute or two with so many spots to see the cache but it was all quiet on Good Friday so plenty of time for searching. TFTC!

Muggles every where made it easy because they were all looking at the old train signed log tftc
Not real keen about finding micros in high muggle areas such as this, and looks like a train was due to arrive very shortly given the amount of people milling about.
Was grateful I was out and about with team Haveanez otherwise I probably would have bypassed this one altogether. Really appreciated the clue, it was a big help.
Cheers.

Out & about with DJ Rascal and it was ALL happening in the town of Junee today, it seemed most caches were swarming with muggles, and this was no exception.
After finding a prime spot to park, we consulted the hint hoping for a quick find amongst the travellers waiting for the train and thanks to the 3 sets of eyes - it was in hand! Super stealth from Big Ez returning it!
Many thanks Hinklenator for the cache and for your informative cache page. TNLN SL

Found at 0945 on our Junee caching run. Our last Junee cache to find. The GPS was bouncing around a fair bit but eventually settled. Had to make the grab in between railway workers passing by.
Thanks Hinklenator.
