No trouble locating the cache, but I couldn't get it out or even open the container in situ. Either this weekend's unusually wet weather has made the structure at GZ swell up, or the previous finder just put some extra effort into replacing the container. It's firmly wedged in there, so I couldn't sign the log, but I have photographic evidence of the find if bregor requires it.
Found in the last hour.... before being archived. We had found before but missed logging it..... JUST made it!!

The road is getting to busy and the cache too close to road. For safety reasons this cache is archived.
Found this one on the way home from down South for a rest, we actually found it the first time about 12 months ago along with a couple of others in the area, we ended up re logging all three after not being able to find one with an old log book to give us the date. Oh well logged now under the new date. the cache was close to the road and a bit hairy at one time with a swine passing at some stupid speed, more through his stupidity than anything else. Ironically we got home and an hour later I get a notification telling me bregor archived the cache, talk about the 11th hour
Any ways its now a find as our name's are in the book.

To close to the road , dangerous I think . Found with MooseHunter65 and Heath and Margaret
Did as CO suggested and parked across the road, found the cache fairly quickly but getting it out was another matter!
What a sad little cottage, sure its given some critters a place to hide.
Cheers bregor for another chimney.

I have put this one off time and time again due to the narrowness of the road but finally attempted it today. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting but the cache was very reluctant to come out of its hiding spot. TFTC
out for a day with Brisal5 and Aussie M&M
quick find as we wander through the back roads
quick find as we wander through the back roads
We knew little fingers were needed for retrieval of this cache, despite this brisal5 tried to get the hide out. I went to help and may have elbowed him, and he did almost fall, I still do not think I would have gotten rubbed out for 5 weeks. Once Brian was gone, I was able to retrieve the cache, sign it and replace it. TFTChimney caches bregor.
Day 36 in a row for 31 days of caching in August. Today was out with Aussie M&M., Honeysucker and his faithfull hound Max. Quick find but not so quick to get out. My fat fingers were having trouble so Mrs. M decided to help. It is only a small verge but Mrs. M wanted some more room. A shirt front that would get 5 matches in the AFL was applied and I was shunted sideways almost tripping over a rock. Geez - some people will do anything to get first look for pathtags. Thanks bregor.
Found It!
For a chimney cache that wasn't too bad. Had it in hand in under a minute...

Even small fingers had trouble getting this one, had to rethink the direction we approached. TFTC
Another Chimney cache found and logged.
The container sure is difficult to remove from the log, and we had to use a screwdriver to pry it out. Nice to see it not full of water after all the recent rain.
Thanks Bregor.

Found this today but it is stuck!!!! We tried everything to try and log our find but even tools etc didn't work. Might have to have a look at this!
Just wanted two more to complete the weekend. Good hint on this one and a quick find. Tftc
Was looking in the wrong place at first and then moved about and found what I was looking for. A sneaky hide this one, one of your many testing hides.
Came from the south, so had to park up the road a bit.
Looks like the verandah posts have all given up on this one (or been taken) - at least it's still got a roof .
Neat little hiding spot that took us a minute to extract .
TNLNSL. Signed the paper F-Llama left.
Thanks again Bregor.

Someone at the Farewell tea for mogni brought up about doing the TDF series and tentative plans were made to do it today..... however due to the high temperatures (44degrees yesterday) earthlight suggested going down south and so here we ended up.
Although we didn't get very far south LOL as we only made it to Macclesfield for lunch at 2pm (and the edge of Strathalbyn about 8pm and definitely not Victor Harbor) but by the end of the day, we had managed to successfully locus cache on 39 caches and I also placed a new one
We even managed to get a 4star terrain cache which surprised us but luckily it didn't beat us as we had the magic geotool
Another piece of history ging to ruin
Having found 10 chimneys, this cache was much easier
Mind you, though, the blackberries near GZ today, while very small, were very yummy!

Initially headed back up the road then I realised where it would be! Earthlight grabbed it whilst locus was busy nipping the blackberries
another easy find as we headed for a nice drive through strath, milang and clayton bay
thanks bregor for the cache
cache is in good order as there was alot of ants keeping it company

The clue was definitely the clincher for this one. A quick find and on our way again. TFTC
Ready the clue. Add another one - this one holy crap, the drivers on this road are crazy!! Thanks bregor - really cool hide.
Nice tour around the area finding some good caches. A bit of a search soon had this one located. A simple but clever hide. SL TFTC
Took a short while, have lots of scratches and itchy arms and legs, but we got it!
After making our way around Strath for the antiques fair it was time for a few caches on our way home. This one happened to be right on the road, so why not!
Having found the cache, I'm not sure why there are so many foot prints up there, let alone the glasses! A found it easily in the end, without having to trudge through the long stuff.
Not sure what the half burried marker with some electronics attached to it was about, but it must have done something at some stage!

We parked a little way up the road so it was a short walk to GZ. Like others we saw the spectacles and continued our search. A few minutes later geoD found the prize which had escaped from it's home.

Ah the spectacles for the cacher who can not see for looking, I could use them on some of my searches but not today, quick find TFTC
Called past here this morning during a caching run in the Strathalbyn to Meadows area. Thanks for the cache bregor!
Very busy road here, as mentioned. Being half way around the bend doesn't help either.

Out for the afternoon on a quest to make 5000 finds by next Saturday. Started at Kanantoo and headed through to Strathalbyn. Found 27 for the day - only 9 to go now.
Nearly followed the geotrail but found it the first place I looked. TFTC.

Found while on a drive to Strathalbyn and back. Followed the geotrail which didn't goto the right place, found it after I thought about it a little. The nearby structure looks like it might come down after a big gust of wind. SL. TFTC.

Another "obvious" spotting by the better half! Obviously I got sidetracked by the considerable trampling but a good hide Bregor. TFTC
Geez this is one busy road ! Take care, I think rooting around near the side of the road is a bit distracting for drivers ! Also watch out for motorbikes overtaking ! Fortunately found cache fairly quickly, signed and made it back to the safety of the car.

Found the cache and a mess of burrs on my sleeves. Clever hide. The nearby needs TLC.
I let the frog find this one. I am glad I did. I was driving so I made sure the hazard lights were operating. Clear skies and TFTC.
What a beautiful house this would have been in it's day. Like cachers before us we too were fooled by the apparent geopath! Wearing a knitted jumper and the ball seedpods of the nearby weed don't mix but we found the cache in the end. Mum stole some nearby geranium. TFTC
Tried unsuccessfully to find this one. Road was a bit busy and i was not keen on the Geokids getting run over so cut the search short.
This was my second time here. I'm pretty sure I'd looked where I eventually found it, but there it was today. Quite easy really, despite doing a good 'drunken bee dance' around the placec first.

Quick find on a very busy section of road..... apparent geo tracks very deceptive!! TFTC Left 2 USA coins
Not much traffic this afternoon in the rain. Found the cache on the ground below the obvious hidey hole so returned it properly. DIdn't take too much searching with The Penny Drops. Thanks Bregor
Visited this one unsucessfully when it first came up.
Like many others walked right past the cache as the geotral indicates.
Out caching for a couple of hours with Pikapene, got my nice clean car dirty again.
Nice to get this one out of the way thanks again Roger and Brenda.

Third Bregor cache today and Bronze for finding it. Clever placement. Thanks Bregor FTC.
It was our lucky day and this was our second first to find of three. There is more to this structure than the other one chimney we have already logged on another day. A quick find.
We parked as suggested and there were a few cars on the road at high speed so suggest that those with small children not let them out the car. Dipped our FTF coin through.
Thanks bregor.
