Walked past final GZ today.. saw camo out in the open and cache is missing.. needs a replacement
A nice sunny walk in the crisp morning air (0 overnight!) had the clues rounded up. The sign at one waypoint is gone but a nearby mystery cache held images of the missing wp.
Easily spotted the clever hide for a quick signing.

I enjoyed my gentle meander around Weeroona collecting the info. Then to the calculations. O bother, something not right. Rechecked a couple of waypoints and then with the correct co-ords off to GZ where I found a sneaky hide. Left 2 TBs, a dummy to continue its journey and my Travelling Alligator to begin here, as once I farmed in this district so it seemed an appropriate place for it to begin travelling TFTC a fav point
In Bendigo on our way to the Oz Mega at Murray Bridge caching with Tassie Trekkers and this one was on our list. A very enjoyabale multi. A beautiful lake. Like previous finders have mentioned WP5 no longer exists but we could work out the cords for GZ. Deserves a favourite. TFTC
Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of Mainland Australia.
Today we teamed up with whitewebbs caching our way to the Oz Mega. Enjoyed this multi the lake is a lovely spot. Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.

Wandered around Weeroona today. Fortunately I had a friend who could help out on a couple of the answers that were giving grief.
Lots of activity with people in pink at GZ where the clever hide was found. All intact today.

Made this our first cache for the day and what a great area to start, plenty of muggles about enjoying the sunshine and after walking around the lake grabbing the required co-ord's (bar wp5, that has simply gone missing) we worked out the final gz and continued on to the area only to be greeted by cache contents scattered on the ground. We signed the log and put all the belongings back, at least it wasn't smashed up or thrown away, and then rehid it the way intended. Thanks tigersden for the chance to get out and have a good look and walk around. Thanks for the cache.
In area for weekend with geo family. It was a lovely morning to take the kids and scooters to the park and enjoy a walk while doing this multi. There were plenty of muggles but all Clues were able to be found (except WP5), without too much hassle. Then we were able to work out the final co-ords. When we arrived at GZ, the contents of cache were found scattered around the ground but container and log still intact, so we all SL and replace container to correct location. TFTC tigerden.
I was in Bendigo for a Wedding & an Australia Day party.
So I found a cache or two whilst in the area.
This was our last day in Bendigo before heading back home.
I wanted do this multi cache and the walk around the lake would do me well.
There were only walkers and runners out and about after all the festive of the weekend. It was sunny and warming up as my walk went on.
I was confused; as the cache description says that, if you start at WP1 then WP2 you will be walking round the lake in a clockwise direction. I doubted myself. But the questions and answers where adding up so I kept on going in an anti-clockwise direction. When I got to WP5 I could not locate any info for the life of me, so I took an educated guess on that one; which paid off.
After collecting all of the necessary information, I did the sums and I walked off to GZ. At GZ I found the well constructed camoed cache.
Thanks for the exercise, and the fun.

Well, we've been holding off for long enough and finally decided to cross the 5000 mark, and what a worthy cache this one was! Took quite a while to drag a distracted Sir Maxy and a stroppy toddler around but well worth it in the end. Great to finally reach the mark, and a fave from us. TFTC.
Found it today with Mrs Iamapom and Woody the Geo-dog.
We were staying close by for a couple of nights, and decided that a walk around the lake would be fun. I didn't know that there was a multi that would take us around. But was VERY happy to find that there was.
I'd walked Woody down there at 0700 for bit of recon to see if the lake looked walk worthly and it certainly did. Lovely. So we headed down there in the car at 0900. By that time the vibe was a bit different than the quiet time earlier of just walkers and runners, now it was families, dog walkers etc. And as it was sunny, there was a lot of them. The coffee van was doing a roaring trade, but the coffee we had from them was pretty burned and horrible.
So we set off, noting that WP1 is a freebie. I got really confused as the cache description says that "If you start at WP1 then WP2 you will be walking round the lake in a clockwise direction..." Er.... no. I was really doubting myself. But the opposite is true. We were working through the WPs in order and we were heading anti-clockwise. Which is fine.
We can confirm that WP5 isn't there. I'm guessing that there used to be a sign there - that just isn't there anymore, but we found we could make an assumption about that one. I can see how some earlier cachers could have been confused by WP7 - but it is all good!
After collecting all of the necessary information, we sat on a bench to make the final calculations, and confirm the manual checksums. All good. While we were doing the calculations, Woody met Toby, a 3 month old Jack Russell on his first ever trip into the big world. Despite being barky with Woody, Woody was very gentle with him. Good boy!
We walked off to GZ, and the well built, well camoed and well stocked cache was quickly in hand.
Thanks for the excellent experience, the exercise, a little bit of sunburn and the fun. Fav point from me.

A perfect walk and challenge at the same time! Had trouble with finding the answer to WP5 as there was nothing obvious about the contract price. Nonetheless we used good ol' intuition and managed to work out the missing digit! The "off-line" check certainly assisted in this regard.
Thanks tigersden for the cache & the smiley series. We need to come back for the 4x4 series!
This cache ended off a wonderful caching weekend in Bendigo and is deserved of a favourite...

This was the first ever cache that I was privileged to seek out, long before I became a genuine cacher. DoorMatt was kind enough to show me this hide back in January 2013, but it was only today that I was in the area and could properly sign the log. Such a clever hide and quite inspirational! TFTC
a lovely sunday for a picnic and a puzzle. had trouble finding wp5, there was nothing there mentioning a contract price and am wondering if the plaque or something has been removed??? also the menu may have been changed as lamb=4 and that was not the right answer, or maybe we just looked at the wrong spot??? Anyway, using a bit of the old noggin, and some maths skills that were forgotten since high school, we eventually worked it out and 6yr old geoson came up with the goods at gz after a failed attempt by geoparents. high fives all round. good camo, so blindingly obvious you miss it. sl tftc.
Nice stroll around the lake with friends after a night out. I had previously found this cache as a "muggle" with the geocache crazy family and came back with friends to finally sign and log it myself. TFTC
Found while out caching with the grandkids and 1 aussie fun seeker.

Found by Mary & David at 1100. We had earlier made a start on the CFA multi, and we were also sidetracked by the Sunday Market at the show ground in North Bendigo for a while. As a result, this was our first for the day. Despite all the days we've spent caching in Bendigo over the years, we've never got around to doing this cache. Enjoyed a great walk around the lake, along with many muggle walkers and joggers with assorted dogs, prams, pushers, bikes, scooters and skateboards. With so many people about, we wondered whether we would be able to access the cache unseen. Needn't have worried. GZ was in a well-chosen quiet part of the park, and out of sight of those using the paths. Good to finally tick this one off. Our thanks to tigersden.
The hotdog van was there .... doh!!
I wanted this to be a quick lunchtime find
I put the hotdog munching time to good use though !!
Mmm, if you read, mmm, the cache notes care, mmm, fully then you only, mmm, need to visit, mmm, three waypoints, mmm to find the coordinates, mmm
Great hotdog... TFTHD [^]
And meanwhile back on the bike...
I rode around the selected waypoints to collect the necessary info and headed for GZ to see if my hotdog induced theory was correct
Of course it was and I spotted the cache container immediately.
Others will not be as lucky, I'm afraid [^]
It just looks so much like it belongs there.... that it doesn't

Found on our BIG Little Event trip. A very good multi to complete. A lovely little walk around the lake getting the answers. Once GZ was cadlculated, we had to re-visit a familiar spot to get to GZ. After a long time of searching, something unusual was spotted - and the cache was found. Fantastic hide, great work. Loved this one. TNLN. TFTC!
Well hidden cache.
Make sure to stop buy the hotdog van and meet the friendly guy who runs it.

Finally, with much help from Tigersden to learn how to use the GPS, we have had our 3rd and final attempt at this multi.
We decided to leave the house early before it got too hot and we had a lovely breeze walking around the lake.
Cache found. Took koala key ring, left $50

Found this one while on a trip up this way to pick up a new caching 'tool' a.k.a. canoe that we wanted to try out here on the lake. Have been up here a bit and glad to finally collect this cache. A nice hot day but stlil ok for caching and canoeing.
Would you believe... got stuck on WP1... then decided to read it properly!! Apparently clocks in Bendigo go the other way as we went wp2 to 2 to 3 and thought it anticlockwise but then visiting the Victorian buildings in Pall Mall was like going back in time anyway. Sorted out the maths and off to GZ for a speedy find. First thing spotted in the cache was a rubber lizard, or at least it looked like rubber until it bolted, apologies for dropping the cache. Thanks Tigersden for a nice stroll and surprising cache.
We're up here for our Anniversary weekend away - yey!! It was GMelb's turn to choose the location (we alternate so it's a surprise for the other half!) He chose Bendigo coz there is so many caches to find and we havent been up here since we got "into caching" Lucky we both like caching!! lol
After a morning of caching and lunch back at the holiday house we set off to the Woollen Factory and when we arrived they had a note on the door saying there was a Craft Fair at the Guide Hall, so after some small purchases at the WF we set off to the Craft Fair as JMelb had been disappointed that there wasnt a Craft Market in Bendigo this weekend. We then continued on caching going by our list as the car GPS had cracked it in preparation for this trip and wouldnt let us load any caches to it so all caches had to be manually input before we could drive to them.
We really enjoyed this meander around the lake and as we hadnt started at WP1 it turned out that the nicely hidden cache was near to where we had parked! By the time we had finished this cache (about 6pm) the weather had cooled enough for JMelb to suggest we went back to where we had previously seen a snake and see if we could find that cache .....gulp!
We had started logging these caches whilst still up in Bendigo but the ancient laptop combined with average coverage for the phone wi-fi hotspot meant the internet kept crashing so logging at home now. We're not having much luck with technology this week!!!

Our friend lives (for the moment) just around the corner, and with two young kids running riot in her house it was time to get them out and wear them out around here.... We'd been here a few years ago when the kids were younger, at the same time of year, and once again the weather was sunny but with freezing wind!!! Seemed all too familiar as we hung around the playground and shivered, looking longingly at the coffee cart.
Alpha female had the right idea and set off for 4 laps jogging around the lake (good on her...), so while she completed her last lap, alpha male and the rest of the clan started on our tour around the lake while collecting clues. All went very well - Some great, clear clues - Great sort of multi for the kidlets and muggles amongst us. A few short breaks for duck chasing or rolling down hills, and we returned to the beginning to plug numbers into the equation. Amazingly we got it all right first time, in both collecting and calculating, and so we headed off for a bit more of a walk to GZ.
Once there it was an impressively camouflaged scene at GZ, but geo-nouse encouraged me to check a certain spot and sure enough, there it was. Great, professional hide that one. Kids were mighty impressed, as were the muggles amongst us

loved the walk around the lake have quiet often done this walk before learning about geocaching as my parents live nearby, great container and great camouflage TFTC
I was in town for a bowls tournament and staying @ a motel opposite the lake. After the first days play myself and my bowling muggle mate decided to do a cache. It must of been a sight two blokes walking around the lake in bowls uniform at 10.30pm. We slowly made our way around gathering the required numbers pretty confident we had the right co-ords. We got to GZ and after a short search the find was made. Great hide it blew my muggle mate away and had him downloading the the app to his iphone.
Thanks tigersden for the cache..... I only wished I had more time to look around this great city and knock a bigger hole in the caches around here.
Cheers.

Found it with DoorMatt when out night caching - not so many muggles around - TFTC
Found with ronnienash at about midnight. Very muggle free at that time of night making the search for each WP very easy. Thanks for the cache.
Have been meaning to do this one for so long, and as it was a nice day decided to go ahead with fellow geobuddy. A lovely stroll with so many people around...but we managed to be stealth! The cache was a little hard to open but we got there in the end.
# 241 - Been meaning to do this one for a while, found with nadsalator, made for a lovely walk around the lake on a fairly nice day. Lots of people around. Had it been lunchtime, we would have been stopping for a hotdog, next time!! Had a bit of trouble extracting cache at GZ, but that might have just been us... TFTC tigersden
I ordered the wrong thing off the menu at WP9 and went on a wild goose chase but thankfully not to far from the real GZ. Thanks

We had a lovely walk around the lake. Plenty of people enjoying the surrounds but luckily the final cache location is in a much quieter area of the lake. Fantastic cache.
Yay! Finally found this one, was frustrated that I didn't find it on the first try. Very smart cache. TFTC
Found this one a while ago and just realised that we forgot to log it. Not really sure of the exact date so just randomly picked one.

we had a whole day to kill so thought, why not try a multi. it was such a nice day as well. wandering around the lake was so peaceful. after starting out on this journey my partner (who was navigating at the time) realized we were going the wrong way
eventually found all the co-ordinates which led us to ground zero. only found the cache by accidentally stumbling over it, (clumsy as i am it comes in handy at times)
a few notes on our journey, we spotted 20 or so turtles popping their heads out of the water, but more fascinating was the fish. i presume they were carp, they certainly looked like it, but again about 20 or so fish were swimming along the surface and popping their heads out of the water as well! was fascinating to watch.
and another note, anyone who hasnt had a hotdog from the hotdog van at the lake, I RECOMMEND IT! best hotdogs in town i must say, sure the prices are a bit steep but hey, your out cacheing, beautiful day, why not spoil yourself
thanks for the cache!

Found at 12.20pm
Had a lovely stroll around the lake with leoch00ks1.
I saw a few turtles and what looked to be carp near the top of the water around the lake today.
Was tempted to pull out the rod to try and catch something but left it at home!
Whilst there were a few muggles about around near the playground and walking around the lake whilst doing the various waypoints, we had no muggle trouble at ground zero. Loved the container!

After spending a few hours watching daughter compete at the nearby fire brigade championships I grabbed a muggle mate and we went for walk around Weeroona. It was his first cache search although he has been aware of caching for quite some time. He had a great time and I think he'll become "one of us" in the near future.
We both enjoyed the walk and the much needed exercise. Clues found easily and muggle mate was very impressed with the cache hide.
Thanks Tigersden.

Found with Tigersden whilst taking the geo-kids out to play. Whilst attempting we noticed WP1 was missing. Didn't matter to us since owner was with us and was able to help out. Was a lovely morning for a walk 1 and a half times around the lake. TFTC
Found ages ago but forgot to log it in. Not exactly sure of the date but would be pretty close. Nice day for astroll, nice coffee on the way around.
Work out coordinates without clue from WP 1 or 2 and then come up with the cache! TFTC!!
Couldnt find plaque at WP1 or 2? tried to guess final coordinates with little result.
We had trouble with this one from the start. Rained on us. Had to come back to finish clues. Couldn't find plaque clue #9 anywhere...still there??? dunno! Still we managed to work out final location & then failed to find it... Not sure where we went wrong with this one!
Great time was had with me and Task_master Jr. in tracking down the cache! .
Must say - I got a bit confused with clockwise vs anticlockwise - instructions don't seem to be correct - perhaps intentionally!
Dropped off Aussie Track-a-bear trackable. Thanks tigersden for a great cache.

Well we wondered when we would walk 'Wandaround Weeroona'.
It was today. Have walked around many times, but today, with a difference.

Thanks Tigersden for the greated hide i have found so far. thanks for the clues at the flash mob II event which made sense after the find. A beautiful liesurely walk around the lake in 36 degrees celcius is not recommended, but there are lots of shady seats and picnic tables to sit at.
NOTE: I started walking from WP1 to WP2 clockwise, worked out that your directions where misleading, so did the lake clockwise WP1, WP10, WP9 ... etc. I am sure you've only done this to confuse people even more so that they have no hope of ever finding the cache. Hahahaha, only joking ... great cache, hope you edit the directions soon, I think my kids would like to do this one next time I'm back up in Bendigo

8th find of the day, and 2684th total find at 20:32.
We are probably a bit mad trying to geocache on a 40 degree day!!
We left this one until late in the day hoping that the temperature would drop ab bit - but no such luck.
Whilst on our circut we were lapped by a lone walker who must have passed us at least three times!! (There's fitness fanatics, and then there's plain stupidity!)
Took: Nothing
Left: Screwdriver
Thanks tigersden for the cache

A casual stroll around the lake was undertaken after spending the day at work. Information was collected at each of the waypoints, well 9 out of 10 anyway. One waypoint didn't have the information available as a wedding reception was being held there. Still enough detail was included in the cache description so that applying a little basic maths the required information was worked out. Then off to the final resting place which was located and the cache logged. Thanks tigersden for the cache.
Nice stroll around the lake whilst the rest of the family were playing tennis. Got full use of my new Iphone multi-geocaching app, which did the calculations for me, after setting it up at home. Nicely made hide. TFTC
Great day to stretch our legs with visiting family from Melbourne and introduce them to the fun of geocaching. Kids found the cache, but only after scaring off a couple of real live rats that were hanging around. Plenty of black bugs as well. (5th of 5 finds for Woofa1954 today)
Did half one night and then came back in the morning. Our son took numerous photos of the birdlife for a badge he's doing for cubs. Very pleasant.
We seemed to be doing quite a few multis today. This one was a bit of a leg stretch before the boating.
Nice hide. Would be nice to say I found the hide, but I was way too slow.
Thanks, Robmc.

Last time I was at the lake it was an eerie blue green colour.
Today it was murky brown and far more acceptable. Still wouldn't want to fall in and we still had that possible adventure ahead of us as the canoe was readied for our later exploits.
While the water crew were preparing our craft the clues were gathered. I have been here before for caches, most notably How well do you know Bendigo.
The cache container was well done too. I like them like that having a similar hide of my own somewhere.
Thanks Tigersden

Found in the company of feathertop, Robmc and PrincessDiala on a day trip to Bendigo.
Clues were collected, and the cache found quickly. A great place to visit, thanks for leading us here! TFTC and multi.

The last time I was in Bendigo was for a gnome event right at this very park.
We felt we didn't have enough time to stroll around here then.
Today even though we were on a tight caching schedule, we managed to make the wander around collect the clues and locate the cache.
Nice hide too!
Lots of black bugs living here though! Ewwww.
Thanks again tigersden.

Back in Bendigo for 3 days to catch up on 20 or so caches we haven't had time to do in our brief visits back to Bendigo. Even though we have walked the lake many a time, we enjoyed our wander ‘wound Weeroona, whimsically wondering which way the hands on the clock actually turn. Wicked work at GZ!

Found by Roma and Max.
It was with some dejavu that we set of on this geo mission gathering numbers at each of your wpts!
We had collected information at wpt 5 for a previous geo find, launched our watercraft nearby for another more recent hide, the answer at wpt 6 proved to be the original location for The Morris's first cache which was muggled before we had a chance to find it, and is also close by it's replacement that is now archived, although the container is still within its niche, cannot be removed, and is now home to a spider family!
A most enjoyable trip down memory lane.
Thank you once more Andrew & Cerena for a well constructed multi in delightful, although very busy surroundings.

I have to admit I took the easy way out for this one, I skipped the walk but tagged along with my friends Crazy Creels and Team Boofer. Signed the log. Thanks for the cache.

I sat and chatted with Cheryl and Waz and the Hansen clan while the rest of the Crazy Creels and Team Boofa did the lap of the lake. Jonti jumped on the band wagon at the very end and went and logged the find. It was a lovely day for it. TFTC TNLN SL.

A joint FTF with 3 other teams of which I can only remember team crackers. Little image #2 came away with FTF key ring.
A plesant walk (almost a jog) around the lake. A clever well hidden cache.
Thanks for the sunshine arranged for the event and then this cache. We left here to go to the central Debrah mine tour before continuing on to more caches.
No swaps today.
Regards

This was a weekend away with Team Crackers and a Bendigo event added for a bonus find.
Today was another day in trying to bring some cache logs up to date.
Our apologies to the cache owner but there has been many issues that have slowed us down and hopefully once all our caches are up to date we will log on the go. the last cache of 13 for today. My thanks to J_E_M for the cache.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the "We love Bendigo but I wish they were all D1 T1 caches" Coffee Clan

I'm finally getting around to logging the caches from today's visit to Bendigo. With the event winding up it was time to get to work on some of the multis around town and why not start with the one 22m away. After collecting all the clues and completing a pleasant stroll of the lake it was off to GZ where the clever container was located. We passed a number of teams on the way and it could easily have been a 10-way FTF!
Cheers,

At the event and having a great time talking to other teams we missed a few of the teams slipping off to start this one. We later noticed this group still looking at GPS's and decided to join in the hunt for the last little bit. We managed to get our name in the log book, although not quite the way intended, but we can say that we have visited all the wpts in the past
