After finding the first 2 caches on this trail the boys rushed ahead to find this one.
After slowly caching up to them, we found the boys looking up trees and we started wondering what was happening. We looked for the cache in the usual spot but it was not there. We could see some left over Velcro tape from where we assume the cache used to be.
Then refreshing my offline cache details, we saw the other DNFs and have to agree with them all.
Sorry C@H but this one seems to missing.

Made the walk out today but had no luck at GZ. The area behind is looking a bit shabby
Unable to locate this time. After examining recent logs and evidence at the suspected location I am thinking this cache may have been muggled. Shame but we need to keep moving if we are to check out the other caches on our list today
It is a beautiful Autumn day and as it is ANZAC day, I have both my Geo children home form School and Kinder, I decided a walk would do us all the world of good. Once of the Bandicoot caches here was one I need for my hidden date grid, so I decided to do a couple of the others near by.
WE parked in the overflow car park and strolled along. We saw several Black Wallabies and two little bandicoots dashed off into the bushes.
I have messaged the CO about this one.
We signed a replacement log that was left in a new cache contianer with swaps in the usual place.

Out and about with Teamthommo for a lovely walk in the sun. A beautiful area I look forward to coming back. Thanks for the series TFTC
I thought I was going to be able to rock up to this one, pluck out the cache, sign the log and be back on my way to the cafe for a well earned lunch. I found evidence of where this one used to be, but certainly wasn't there anymore. Looked through some previous logs and tried to deduce where it had wandered to. After a couple minutes of careful searching nearby (read watching out for snakes) I had to search carefully for a different reason. I soon had the cache in hand. Log signed, replaced and happy with my days caching here. TFTC!
Upon returning a very easy find for a normal cache. Thanks Alanica for the tip off and goes to prove that not all caches in a series are the same. Tftc.
This was an easy find. Hint- not on the sign but not far away and careful when accessing.
The issues associated with this placement have been resolved - available for seekers again.
Out for the afternoon with OrionJ and Ms Maddy. This one took us a little further down the track from our previous find. It was not where we expected it to be but was soon discovered nearby and our names added to the log. TFTC
Stortigirls wanted to meet up with flynnblade, whom she had recently converted to caching. It was agreed that we would all meet in the parking lot of the botanical gardens and then go for a stroll around and find a few caches along the way. Thanks to the CO for bringing us to these lovely gardens.
Found with flynnblade after recently converting them the caching A quick find and a first TB for flynnblade discovered. Log signed and cache returned. Tftc C@H!

Flew in on Friday and invested the first day in herding pigs with Everestfound. Thx for your company sweetie I'm an orphan in Queensland and any time with my fam is precious.
Day two I rocked up to the Mega expecting everyone to have hit the trails. I was keen to clear the Australian Gardens and had solved the puzzle. Hooked up with LHE Duo and OrionJ which was awesome and we stopped for a quick lunch and then headed across to the gardens

This was the last stop along the trail in this direction, and thought we might be in for the same, however turned out to be slightly different spot. Maybe due to the magnet missing, not to far away and a quick find in the end anyway. Soon had the log signed and replaced as found. Now back to the car to relocate to another parking spot for the rest.

What a great weekend of fun we had at the Melbourne Mega Event 2015! Our goal was to get 12 different types of caches in one day and 7 different containers as well. We achieved it after a very long day of driving and selective caching. Teamed up with DreamyDragon and VanderHunters. Found easily. TFTC.
Found while on a cache maintenance run with the CO before the OzMega. My first visit to CBG and I just loved it, so nice to ride around and explore. I'll be back.
Trekking through the park made a little more difficult by the pram, but hey, what a delightful place for a walk! Sadly I bled for this cache; I have a rather nasty swordgrass slice right through a knuckle and it wouldn't stop bleeding!!! GAAH! Either way, we found it and I managed to not bleed on the log. TFTC C@H
Enjoying a leisurely wander around the gardens with kyabbott and geobaby today after the local MEGA event and appreciated the simple nature of these caches. Although I do believe kyabbott sustained an injury at the hands of the hiding spot for this cache. Whoops! Number 12 on our finds list today, TFTC

Fortunately during the day we were able to make nice discreet finds with only brief waits for the coast to clear between muggles
We had solved the one puzzle cache in the park at breakfast but managed to sail right past it on our walk, and Geohubby came face to face with a very large brown snake at the water tank near the trig point so that traditional will have to wait for another day too....hopefully tomorrow
We saw two echidnas busily searchng for their lunch and several roos....a couple with babies on board and of course the slithery stick
We apologise for the generic logs but assure the CO's that we thoroughly enjoyed all the hides in this beautiful place, and have made extra comments on some logs where appropriate.
Many thanks for the hide C@H[^]

I lingered here a little because recent logs suggested that the cache had been moved, but I couldn't see where initially. I may as well reiterate for the next visitor that the logs from Aug '15 are particularly helpful given the current state of affairs. Thanks C@H!
Quick find thanks to a brief search of gz found with nyochi. Another full log needs replacing
found it, the magnet must have fallen off this one, but it was still found quickly. Another great spot.Tftc
Another too easy find in this spectacular part of the world. Didn't see any bandicoots today, only an echidna on the walk to this one.. thanks..!!
As dobbie1 and I approached the cache location a muggle was taking a linger. We decided to also have a linger and hoped that he would move on. This gave us time to read a few previous logs and found it had been relocated. Thanks for that info as it meant a quick find. Log was signed and safely back again. Find #193
Third find. Checked the previous logs to find its new location. No bandicoots, but we did see a large blue tongue warming itself in the winter sun.

Although this had been moved. Was still an easy find. The Magnet is no longer stuck on the back and is insde the box, not making it strong enough to hold the cache container.
Magnet has come off, and can no longer attach to GZ. Cache is hidden in some swordgrass behind GZ.
Out on a sunny late Winter's day caching with Morcs4 and three kids. My GPS was flat by now, but thankfully Morcs4 was more prepared than me. We've worked out that she's the practical one, and I'm the occasional brains, which means that if we were both on 'Survivor', I'd be dead within the hour and she'd win six weeks later. Anyway, Morcs4 read the logs after the usual hiding spot was empty and we found the cache with little trouble. The cache is behind GZ in the swordgrass, as the magnet is no longer attached. I will lodge a needs maintenance. Thanks C@H.
Too simple (needs new magnets) so we placed it a few feet away from original place. Look at the sword grass.

As others in the series found this cache. However the magnet holding the cache in place is no longer strong enough and cannot be securely hidden like other hides. Needs attention otherwise will I fear it will be compromised. I placed it behind the object at GZ. SL & replaced. TFTC!
Last time I was here I walked around, today I am back with the bike. Quick and easy find. Enjoying the bike paths around this natural bush setting.
Cache needs CO to replace the magnets.

Number 3 of the bandicoots after a lunch in the park. We spotted a bandicoot who came hanging around our lunch table today so it was nice to spot a bandicoot and the head off for some bandicoot caches.
This cache may need some attention as the magnet is missing and the cache is only barely hanging in place by other means.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks coverthypnosis for this cache series here today.

Well, I need a fix of peaceful wondering in a bush land setting and a fix of geocaching and what better place to do it. I have been into this park to grab some caches previously but it was a total fire ban back in the 2012/13 summer and I was not able to go past the picnic/playground area.
A quick find at this location however the magnet has come adrift from the case and is not strong enough to hold the case in place with the magnet inside. I had a coffee with yorsys, a local cacher, after my walk and he said that he would come back and place a drive magnet inside the container when he gets a chance.
Thanks for placing this cache C@H

Found with Loz6032. Added another pencil for my fellow caches. Magnet on cache was damaged. Did a quick fix. Just be careful with it. TFTC
My geo partner, Tassie Expat, spent a morning exploring this unsuspecting park and enjoyed the different walks amongst the trees and animals. Thanks very much for making the time to place these caches.
A quick find with good co-ords. The magnet no longer sticks. Replaced as found, sitting wedged on top of post. TNLN TFTC
A perfect day for a caching run around the bush tracks of the Botanical Gardens. Thanks C@H for an excellent series.
Found the cache on the ground. The magnet has come off the container. Have put the magnet inside the container but it's not strong enough to hold onto the sign. I've just left it propped up behind the sign for now. Hope it doesn't get muggled.
Lingered for a while but still no Bandicoot I'm sure they're watching me!
Found the cache on the ground. The attachment mechanism has come loose!! Will notify CO but in the meantime I hope it's safe.

We almost didn't walk this extra little bit of loop, but when I saw the geocache was there, we trotted off along this bit of trail, and I am so grateful. What a beautiful walk, through lovely woodland... we truly loved it, and thankyou for making the trip even more interesting by adding a cache here
Thanks for the cache, enjoyed the walk - now for uphill battle to taxkle the last GC.
Loved the simplicity of the series. Must keep it in mind for an outing with geo grandchildren and geo son.
Last one today of this wonderful series by C@H.
