Nice easy cache, perhaps no muggles around at close to mid night helps to achive an easy cache.

I took some time off to cache my way to Sydney from Canberra for work, focusing on solved puzzles. I stopped here after finding a nearby puzzle. This took a few minutes to find, and just as I was signing the log, a freight train rumbled by. TFTC.

TFTC. Stopped to pick this one up as our geoson really loves trains and he had to do this one with us. There was one muggle on the platform, who took no notice of us as they were busy listening to their music. We think there were other catchers looking for this as a car went to pull up a couple of times while we were looking. Made the find and hid it back where it was. TB's stopped by for a visit.
It was time to do another run through the highlands again as it's been some months and some caches had popped up and had decided they needed some smiley faces. We did a handful of them on a cool Friday morning with only one dnf. An enjoyable few hours spent doing what we love doing best! Tftc tnln.
Frowny face is now a smiley one. I don't know how I missed this last time. No chance of being muggled today, as there are track works and the trains have been replaced with buses today. And no freight trains through today, either. TFTC
Found just as a goods train was heading south thru station.nice station hide.tftc
Found 27/07/16. Had to wait for the muggle schoolchildren to leave on the tiny two car train going south. Clue and size description were on point.
Only being my second geocache, I found this rather difficult! After quite a few minutes of searching, we came to the conclusion that we needed a fresh pair of eyes to help us! After returning with more eyes, we finally found the cache! An interesting and difficult find!

As we had replaced this hide some time ago for the CO on this lovely country station, as he does not have a lot of time, it was disappointing to see a dnf on this cache. As a traditional cache it is meant to be found and enjoyed in this lovely location.
So on our way home today we stopped, just on dark. for a cache check. Waited for 2 trains; a goods train heading north and a passenger train heading south dropping off a passenger to a waiting muggle car, then we crossed the line to check on the cache.
Happy to say that the cache was found safe in his hiding spot as per the hint just where the last finder had kindly placed it. Cache on!

Searched for about 45 minutes. Despite the hint & a photo, two sets of eyes couldn't find it. No muggles, just a train that took about a minute to pass.
One 3 car train came past as I searched but otherwise the station was deserted. A quick check for the next train due and I had the cache in hand. Thanks westmeadconcorde for the hide in an interesting place.
What a lovely tranquil country train station with not a sole around in the middle of the day. Lovely autumn coloured trees all along the street nearby- beautiful. Cache was a quick find with the clue. Thanks for bringing us here
Well I haven’t been out geo caching for some time now so Happy Uke and I got out and about to get some out of the way and this was to be the second one for the day.
I’ve tried for this one a few times but there have always been someone on the platform. Managed to find it this time with Happy Uke keeping me straight on the rails.
Thanks!

Had to pick up my youngest from Bowral and thought I would try this one, showing him what I get up to when I am geocaching. He was originally going to stay in the car but hopped out to "get it over with". I am using an android tablet to find my GPS targets. It is too large to pop in my pocket when muggles are around, so I quickly swap to camera and look like I am taking photos. My son thought it was hilarious that I started taking photos of the train when it pulled up at the station. "Mums a train buff". Two trains later we had cache in hand and son had enjoyed himself on the "treasure hunt". Thanks
We had to head to Bowral for a couple of appointments for FFLL2 so I decided to collect some caches while killing some time waiting. Invited Rapidlywild along for the ride to keep me company and collect some caches she also hadn't found as yet.
It was a successful day although the weather was not very nice, why do we do this we kept asking ourselves as we soon became drowned rats.
Quick find at this one today before heading of to the next one.

I had a muggle waiting in a car waiting opposite so I sat on that little black box for a short time wondering what its used for?
Sitting here I was out of view from the car so checked a few places and bang.CIH
Its not everyday you can walk acsoss rainway tracks anymore and look down the line.
Nice,thanks for the location

On a lazy morning walk from Bowral to Moss Vale I came across with the halfway station with cache. Good to know that there's an alternative in case I'll tired of walking.
Good to be back here at a time when the heritage trains don't attract so much attention. TFTC.
Found. Thanks for the cache hide. Found with *Throsbyonchurch* and *Little Panther*
I found this cache as a joint part of “Team” *Throsbyonchurch* and in which name the log book was signed. I now have my own account as I’m old enough to cache myself, so I am claiming a fair share of my earlier finds. As I had no caching name at the time there's no log in the book for me but I’m claiming the find under team ToC. Thank you for the hide.
I found this cache jointly with TOC and now I have my own account I am claiming my finds too. My caching name is not in the log book though as I didn't have one. Thank you for the hide.
Went for a drive to Bowral today, did some shopping and thought I'd duck off and seek out a not yet found cache... lol... 'duck off', hhmmm felt like an old duck too paddling around in the puddles out in the rain looking for a cache. Geokid came for a snoop and trying to be sly and find it first was the order of the day, but a sly little had slid toward GZ and popped out a surprise .... gggrrr.... got to be quicker than the trains round here. Love this station it is a little cutie. I remember when the platform was lesser than it is now and as old as. Its certainly looking all fancy fine now, even has automated information screeching from an overhead loudspeaker. SL TFTH.
this one is now back in operation after thanks to AsTheCrowsFly and i,riblit unfortunately wasn't near a computer in the last couple of days. So enjoy.

As CO needed a bit of help at this time, as our second project we decided to step up and help here.
We have provided the CO with a new magnetic container and new log, this is in place and ready to go again.
Hope it can be re-opened soon so this shows again in searches.
Please remember to place the container back as found so that the clue makes sense to others.

Needs a good dry out and new log.
OCW 10011010. This cache found after dark just after a train flew through.
Below log says it all but managed to get the pen to write despite the log wet.

In need of some TLC, log wet through and needs new log.
No paper with us at this time and no opportunity to dry.

Of course the geokids ran across to find it without a pen. They came back got the pen signed the log and returned to us. But the last geokid couldn't get the lid back on. So another went to help her and they both had to wait and wait for the huge train to pass. The driver gave a toot as he went past. Good fun. TFTC.
With the baby asleep in the car, geohubby went to search as I relayed the clues from recent finds. He found it and brought it back to the car to log and wait for a train to pass then back over to hide.
We missed the train this time and too long to wait for the next one. We did a little search instead.
Visited with Felix the spy; this was the first find of our bicycle outing. We had this one in hand fairly quickly. Thanks!
Continuing towards Melbourne with Team Crackers we picked some more of the local caches.
Thanks for the hide,

Found it but forgot to bring a pen. Took photo of log. A very peaceful evening.

Third cache for the day. Nice hiding spot, underneath an evergreen oak tree. Also present; MajesticMagpie and mother muggle
my step dad, my mum and I found this cache today while staying in the area.
Well, it was time for another specimenX and Rapidlywild adventure, definately overdue and looking forward to a good weekend We had cleaned up some "straggler" caches we had along the highway and made our way to the hotel and checked in. We lasted about 15 minutes at the hotel and we were back on the road. Its caching time
We had decided to hit the Mario series as we had spoken to the CO at an event in Canberra a few months back and he advised us of this new series. We just had to come out and grab it, and we are VERY glad we did We had finished the Mario Series and were now collecting some newer caches in the area.
Time to start making our way back towards Canberra however we decided to take the trip through Moss Vale, Exeter and Wingello. This way we can get the stragler caches within that area and avoid the highway for a little while
For some reason we missed this one last time we were here. Unsure why but anyways this time we made sure we made the find. Parked up in the parking zone and wandered over to said GZ. We were looking high and low before changing our angle of attack and soon the hide revealed itself.
Logging duties performed and it was on the road again for us. Thanks for the find westmeadconcorde

The weekend had arrived! So this meant another geomission with Rapidlywild gallivanting around the Southern Highlands again Certainly was a weekend of quality caching!
Next stop for the SX and RW caching train...Burradoo!
After parking the car and then making our way to the location, we then realised...oh its over THERE! So then over we went making sure we were looking were we were going
Search a few spots at first but then after tying things from a different angle, I had the cache in hand for us to sign in seconds [^]
Thanks for this one, westmeadconcorde

We were muggled away from a nearby puzzle cache, so it was nice to find this station deserted.
A quick find, thanks

Today we headed off to Moss Vale for a couple of days.
After setting up in the caravan park, it was time to head off to find a few caches.
Very quiet at the station, looks like new gardening done here, cache is safe & sound.
Thanks for placing this cache westmeadconcorde

Nick and Chris found this one after the WEEO pointed them in the right direction. We loved walking across the train tracks, so thanks for a great cache location. We have really enjoyed the series of these. TFTC
A lovely quiet station to find a cache. The GrandGeoChildren came to Moss Vale to collect Mum and we did this cache on the way. To think this is the line that Mummy is on was so exciting for them and they found the cache to boot, with just a little help. TFTC westmeadconcorde TNLN SL
