I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi skindo
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Found the metal brace. But sadly no cache. Checked the ground around it but nothing.
Summer Holiday Time yay!
I'm about to spend 3 days tramping through the Tararuas around Mt Holdsworth and today I am just casually making my way there to rendezvous with my friends, naturally using the opportunity to do some Geocaching along the way as I don't get into the Wairarapa very often.
Precise co-ordinates and a helpful Hint meant this should have been pretty much an instant find, but I could not find anything at GZ.

Day 2 of our Road Trip
Early start today, weather fine but very cold.
Heading south we detoured up side roads, some sealed some gravel.
Caches like yesterday that needed log sheets replacing as they were so wet we couldn't sign them. Just as well we bought new log sheets and bags with us.
The huge numbers of caches in this area we know that we will have to return on another trip.
Always great to visit new areas. Thanks for the cache placements. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)...
We have been planning for Queen's Birthday weekend for some time - routes and caches were identified and mapped, and Gap solved a whole lot of puzzles in readiness for this adventure. We scoured many online logs and took note of the condition of the caches and their logbooks. We determined to replace any containers and logbooks where there was a dire need - This is not usually our habit and is quite time consuming; but we are enthusiastic cachers and believe in doing our bit for the wider caching community...
After overnight rain, the early morning was quite dark and gloomy. However, as the morning wore on, the sun came out, and it was quite warm if one could find a sheltered spot out of the wind... We set off with the intention of caching our way to Masterton and zipping in and out of any side roads as well. The proliferation of caches in this area would definitely keep us busy today... A walking group member separated from his group and followed us out. We slowed to let him pass, then went to the most logical hint object. This one was missing, so it was replaced. Thanks Skindo and TFTC.

Found the object mentioned in the hint and there only appeared to be one of these here and found the ideal spot in relation the the object to stash a cache, however the cupboard was bare.

After attending a conference in Wellington and staying with friends for a night we continued our journey north homewards, caching on the way as you do. Mrs S found this one no problem. It's a nice walkway. Well maintained.
Thanks for another smilie Skindo.

It's always great to include a few walks during a day out caching. Have really had a good look around Eketahuna today. TFTC .
Enjoyed the walk along the cliff tops here. A nice quick find here at the end of our walk. TFTC # 12,795

A nice and quick find. Cheers.
Today we spent biking around Masterton, and a drive to Eketahuna and back on roads less well travelled.
Thanks to all of the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Nice to tick off the last of these 4 in Eketahuna - on our way to Hastings. TFTC
#3701. Yay, Friday dawned clear and sunny and I had the day off work. So it was time to have another adventure in skindoland. Love geocaching in the wide open spaces of the Wairarapa. My mission today was to find at least 50 caches for the DGSC challenge. Set off from Wellington at 8am and got back home at 11pm having travelled on some remote and dusty roads in the back of beyond. Ended up bagging 61 caches (including one archived cache found by chance). I decided to stop in Eketahuna for a burger and piece of fish at the local takeaways. Big mistake. After ordering and paying for the meal, the lady said there would be a half hour wait. So I came around here to find this cache. It was quickly found, signed and replaced. Also tried for the cache down in the park below but too many freedom campers watching me so gave up on that one. Got back to the chipper after 25 minutes and still no sign of my burger. After a full hour waiting I finally had my dinner. By now it was dark! Thanks for the cache skindo.
Camping at Ekatahuna camp ground and it was nice to spot a cache on the way! TFTC
Camping at lovely Eketahuna camp ground. Fab facilities, very Dog Friendly. Found cache on way back to camp after an afternoon trip to Dannivirke. Out with Iceicechilly finding caches on the way. Lovely day out. Found treasure and swapped some. TFTC
Back in my hometown for a look around.
Will have to come back on a fine day to do the Cliff Walk.
Cheers

Parked up here to start the cliff walk. Nice walk in the country side. Thanks for the cache.
On a 6 day road trip with sveppi. Day 3:Dannevirke-Masterton. I stayed at the Eketahuna campside about 12 years ago and thought it was great. Scoping the place this time to see if it is still a good option for future reference. Yes it is. Seen as we were here, might as well log the cache. Found instantly by sveppi in the first place she looked.
On the way down to Masterton, fanfan-77 wanted to show me the campsite here. Passed this cache on the way down and grabbed it quick. TFTC
Up camping for new years with friends. Found at start of trek into town to chk out the pool - looks like rain will be setting in... TFTC
Despite the drizzle and wind today this was a lovely little walk which I have been meaning to explore for years. Dropped off a TB TFTC
I have been wanting to do this short geocaching walk for quite a while, and had the spare time today. Mr E dropped me off at this end and I walked through to meet him. Good to see that new fencing and other improvements to this track have happened recently. Impressive that this walkway is over 100 years old. All three of the caches along the way had good coordinates and were quickly found. Thanks skindo!
We left around 8.30am this morning and planned a big day down in masterton and to grab any caches that would be on the way, we have added paracord kaychains or block heads to the caches that would fit them in. finished up with a total of 33 and home again by 4.10 so not a bad way to spend a sunday and thank you for placing the cache, sorry for the copy and paste logs.
The co ords were about 7m out for me so I was initially a bit lost on this one as there wasn't a likely hiding spot where the gps was pointing. Luckily the hint led me to the prize.

73 of 100 for today around the back of Pahiatua and Eketahuna. I set off early with tommygun9 and AtomsNZ to achieve our record number of finds in a day (previous records were in the 20's) and start to make a small dent in all the Wairarapa caches. So pleased to find every single cache we looked for.
Had a random chat to a local who knew all about this.

So happy to get exactly 100 in February that, along with AtomsNZ and Stardust 718, I went out to get exactly 100 in just one day! 100% find rate too!
Great drive around the Wairarapa on a beautiful day.
Ran into some local off-duty cachers here and dicsussed our outings. This one was a bit exposed so we hid it away a bit better.

Completed a "100 in 24hours" mission on the various road between Pahiatua and Eketahuna with Tommygun9 and Stardust 718. Beautiful walkway. This one was very easily seen. TFTC
A dot-day challenge to get 3 figures, 100 or more, in a day
Caching around the back roads of Pahiatua, Eketahuna nd Mangatainoka.
Into skindo and GeocachingNZ territory myself and nightowl19 went and 107 was the final score
No pen was carried from the car, but these 5 were found easily

A Sunday of caching in my namesake territory. What could be better? And a beautiful mid-summer-like day as well.
We'd visited the 'town end' quite some time ago, so interesting to be approaching from this direction. Cache find was straightforward. Log signed, then safely re-hidden.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too you beaut!

A MEGA Adventure
Both Nova Lightning and myself had set ourselves caching targets that we were hoping to meet in time for the NZMEGA in a few weeks. So with a plan in progress and fuel in the tank away we set.
Departed home at 6pm Friday, returned home 3.30pm Monday, 7 hours sleep approx 470 caches and a great adventure.
Thanks to all those that have placed caches especially Skindo as I think we gave his caches a bit of a nudge
Thanks for a great weekend of Caching and Bull.

Mega Weekend
It all started about a month ago when Cats&Dragons brought up the idea of heading down the line to collect 350+ caches. We both had targets that we wanted to meet before attending the NZ Mega. Plans and locations were drawn up and puzzles were begun to be solved. It took me a while to get my head around a few of the puzzles and with the help of a cacher I was soon on a roll.
The weekend finally came and we departed Hamilton at 6pm on a Friday night. 3days, 2,000km, & 11hrs sleep, later 472 caches collected. Thanks to all those who's caches I found especially Skindo with a huge number laid.

Our 9th of the day. The whole family, two grandparents and my sister did this very pleasant walk. Caches were found easily. TFTC.

An instant find - love it when that happens, especially after we'd DNFed when cache was MIA. Thanks for reinstating, and placing another cache down this road.

Looks like a nice walk, but not on a day like today, so we drove here.
Alas no sign of cache. Hasn't been found in a while plus it looks like some new fencing has been erected recently....

I attempted his some time ago when it was missing in action. Good to finally grab it. TFTC
quick find with The Seagnoid and Toad after finishing the six caches in the Tararua Forest Park and heading back to sister-in-lord's only to be told that dinner was still 30-45 min away.
That's plenty of time for finding some more caches in town!

Found with Etherlord and Toad. Skindo's description of this led us wondering - it suggests there is a cache at the other end of the cliff walk, but not that we could see... It wasn't till 2 caches later that we realised! Alas, we did not walk the track. Would have been nice though. Bound to come back to it one day.
Easy find on my second attempt, I had tried for this late last year but it had gone. Nice to finally have it ticked off. Signed log, TFTC
