Found on the way past this arvo grabbing some caches while headed to Barmera. Quick park and grab, cheers.Find #7125 on 18 Nov 2024.TFTC crane2!
My first solo caching trip. A long one down the entire length of the Sturt Highway. TFTC
TFTC Found and signed easily enough however the difficulty I had was replacing it. After several attempts had to walk off (cache in hand) grab a chair from nearby source and return with height help.So cache replaced as found.
Was a race to find this one, was exciting to finally be able to reach the cache on a big sign
The original plan was to head to the Argadells north of Port Augusta but the logistics simply didnt work out for us.So its Plan B, the Riverland So here we are, The 3 Stooges, WayneAPN (or as we call him That Numbers Guy), weredunn4 ( Mr Adventure) and myself are hitting the Riverland for some targeted high T caches, plus many many others along the way.Suffice to say, these are always great trips away with heaps of banter, dad jokes, tons of crap talk, but best of all, the camaraderieAll caches found and stamped. Any caches needing maintenance, we did our best to restore them to good health whether that be an additional log or new container. Thanks to all the COs for the caches we found this weekend, without you we dont have this game TFTC
Continuing on with my South Australian caching tour and the mad collection of caches in the state. I am again part of the BOLD 7 team doing the mad assault on as many caches as we can. We tested out the MG yesterday and dirtied her up, she handled it well. Today it is to finish off the mayhem of the On your bike series and the few in the area as we pass. It may be a late night back as the plan is to also grab a cache or two on the way to Remark before heading back home. There is so much to do and in such close proximity, I am going to have to come back again. Just need to make sure we stop for food and fuel, must have happy campers for the travels. Am loving the area and the countryside, will have to come back at a different time and experience this state. Along the way we grabbed a few oldies, caches yes and a few that were just there for the fun, oh and the occasional multi, lol. Thanks for setting up these caches and maintaining them. All caches were signed as BOLD 7 and replaced as found. The generic log signing is to save log replacements.
GC2FZNY BonneyviewA group of us are down from Darwin and Brisbane in preparation of the leap year event.Today was day 2 of hitting the bike series and heading east. To save space in the logs signed as the BOLD7. Was meant to be BDLD7 but something got lost in translation.Love this caches name as we were singing were going to Bonnie Doon as this area reminded me of there. Just beautiful. Love how this has survived more so than the sign. TFTC crane2
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD7 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 7 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday.
Thats a nice easy drive by. We were worried at first when we saw no sign and just poles here. Thank you.
BOLD7 spent the day galivanting around collecting many a cache and having a blast! Cheers to all the COs for fab caches.
Out and about collecting more smilies. Signed with Leap mega team nickname BOLD7. Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache.
Another Bonney moment. Grabbed the oldie Bonney to the north around the water course and this one on the way back. With the sun setting heading back to our accommodation, collected a few caches on the way. This has been a good caching day in this part of the State and the weather has been kind and cooler than yesterday. TFTC crane2.
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa Exploring the Riverland for a few days.Took a tool and teamwork to remove and replace this one. Tftc
1st cache for today. Used the back of my Landcruiser to get the height needed. Cheers from Barra
Caravan trip to the Riverland. Day 10, Berri to Greenock. After a lovely coffee across the road, thought we'd make a quick grab. Mmm, that's a bit high to reach, lucky there was a reachy thing nearby. Getting it back was more of a challenge...TFTC
Returning to Adelaide after visiting family in Melbourne. Staying at Cobdogla fir 2 nights. Had time to do a couple of ALs & find a few caches. Thank you everyone for setting them up for our enjoyment. Tftc
TFTC Smart hide!! Mint tin needs replacing didnt have anything to replace with
Camped at nearby Lake Bonney, gorgeous spot and so happy to find a nice spot right on the water. A bit of an hour out on the bike today to look about and pick up some caches.
While we couldn't see the Lake from this cache we could see a Bonney View. TFTC

Team one-eyed stopped at the parkland. Located the cache signed log & replaced cache. TFTC. Cheers one-eyed
Well that was surprisingly easy to find - it was in plain view out of its hiding spot, wherever that was meant to be. Log signed and returned to an approximation of what was assumed to be the original location. Thanks for a find on the last day of the year!
Had coffee and breakfast at the bakery and when finished walked across for a quick find. A bit of a battle to actually extract the cache. TFTC
Back again today, this time with a folding stool and made an easy find and sign.
The sign has been damaged so it is likely to be reaced at some time.

While travelling through the area we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Caches and contents were very good.

Stopped for a bun and a pie and a cache. Except Di wouldn't let me take one of the chairs so it was sighted but not signed.
Nice pie.
Nice pie.
A caching day trip out with Peas&CarrotsForever discovering more of the Riverland region.
This is my 1900 cache find to date, and what a laugh the three of us had trying to retrieve this.

The day after an event in the Riverland and we are spending the day out geocaching with Jolly0.
Unless you're a giant, you will need a TOTT to retrieve this cache. TFTC crane2

Border hopping weekend day #1:
This pineapple took an earlier shift at work today to be able to have time to collect some caches and adventure labs between Adelaide and Berri before the dinner event. With a few caches collected after the event as well.
I can only stay the weekend due to work, one night in Barmera and one in Mildura. So I'm doing as many caches as I can inbetween events... so many caches and so little time.
Quick and easy find here today.
I also bumped into TheKellyGang here. Good to see some familiar faces so far from home.
99 total finds for the trip. 42 traditionals, 2 multis, 7 mysteries, 3 virtuals, 2 letter boxes, 1 EarthCache, 3 community celebration events, 1 event and 1 CITO. As well as 37 Adventure Lab locations.
Cache retrieved and signed with stamp.
Thanks crane2 for this cache.
This cache brings Goldy's total find count to 1461.

We are finally able to travel interstate without heaps of loops to jump through. We thought we would take it easy and have a look around South Australia and grab a few more LGA's while we were here.
Out for a morning run and this would have to be the most difficult of the day. I thought I might be able to jump up and grab it but it was stuck tight.
I eventally managed to dislodge it. Getting it back was easy
This was find number 3 for the day.

Easy to see the cache due to some interaction with a truck. No way my little legs could help retrieve it though.
Found by Mary and David at 12:50. A nice quick one again, once all the muggle vehicles had passed. A particular small item of TOTT helped. Our thanks to crane2
TFTC found with a little bit of help from a fellow geocacher who was driving by. Nice one!
Found with gridge98 whilst in the area doing some caching apologies for the late log. Thanks for the cache
Quick stop by this one today cache is all good
