We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the "land down under."

Thanks for the fun Everlasting!
I had to visit Robins Nest to pick up some TB's that I had left behind after the Christmas in July 2014 Event. I had an over night pass so intended to make the most of it. My main aim was to tackle the power trails around pikedale road and the rabbit proof fence.
Aliong the way I spotted a emerald spotted tree frog, a koala, one rather large goanna, lots of birds and managed to avoid 3 speed traps and one RBT. Fortunately no Joe Blakes but did manage to pick up a few prickles from a cactus that I shouldn't have touched.
I caught up with Ian and Chris late Sunday morning for a cup of tea and a chat (Thankyou) before heading home.
Thanks for placing this cache Everlasting

The sun was going down and it was starting to get COLD. We kind of let Mr Herbz make the grab, while Mrs Herbz and I hovered indecisively near the warmth of the car. T4TC Everlasting
The sun was beginning to descend and the wind was picking up. Mr. Herbz made the find quicksmart before heading back to the Nest

In Stanthorpe for Christmas in July. Had expected it to be really cold but the weather is magnificent and perfect for a couple of hours caching before lunch. Thank you for placing this cache
Found with J+J.au as we found some Stanthorpe caches We stopped along the way and enjoyed various cache hides and locations. Now back home and trying to catch up on logs. SL..TFTC
Baja15 and I are up north enjoying Easter break and have taken the opportunity to get out and enjoy the country side and collect some caches, the weather is perfect and thank you for placing the caches for all of us to find. Enjoying the varieties very much. TFTC
After some lunch at a well known Eatery nearby, I checked my phone and found that the nearest Cache
was in sight of where I was standing. So that was an easy find, and in a nice place. TFTC (Message to owner, the lid of the tin is broken, needs replacing)

An enjoyable day of caching with LazzaL around Stanthorpe - lots of interesting hides. It was a great day to be around the town becasue most people were at the show. Thanks to Everlasting
Another nice day in Stanthorpe with friends Bruce & Liz, decided to have an easy day and just find a few around town. This is number 10 for the day. A nice easy find thanks Everlasting
A stop here to find another cache. Found quickly before we moved onto the next cache. As I was moving back to the car, Team Robin drove up and introduced themselves. It was a pleasure to meet them as we had done many of their caches during the day. Hopefully will meet them in 2015 when a mega event is held in Stanthorpe. TFTC
On geocaching weekend with Richmond Lad visiting Warwick, Stanthorpe and Tenterfield. We had great weather to search for these little treasures. Easy find. Met Team Robins creators of many caches around Stanthorpe.

I found this one way back in July/August but not sure why it was not logged/uploaded. Love this while area.
Found on a 4 day trip which included 3 nights camping in Stanthorpe with three of the kids, Jasmine 9yo and James + Jemma 7yo. Started off heading via Brisbane and the Planetarium, collecting a few around that area with Radnoski, met a few other fellow cachers, then headed South via Warwick to Stanthorpe, collecting caches along the way. Stayed at Top of The Town, and arriving late, a mad rush to set up a new tent ensued. But with help from the kids all was well.
The second day featured over 120 finds, and a clean up for me of the A.S. Series, Animal Series and the Fruit Run. Saw some great spots, and the kids had a ball finding a heap of caches.
The third day featured 86 finds, a few DNF's, but a sensational loop starting in Stanthorpe, and heading South and then back to Stanthorpe, a distance of around 200 or so kms. Visited some of the best cache locations I have been to, and quite a few fav points to be given out. A big maccas dinner the reward for the kids and me....
The fourth and final day, was of course the pack up, then a cruisy trip home, collecting only 22 finds, but there were still some good spots visited. Also got the chance to meet Team Robins, great to meet you.....
In summary, found 258 caches, got my 9000th find, and had a nice time away with the kids... Missed some awesome looking Earth Caches in the area, but will get them next time I plan a trip out that way. My sincere thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches, without whose efforts, I would have had nothing to find. I am using a generic log on the power trail caches, but on others, of course there will be a personal comment.

Woke up early so went for a walk while the fog was still around to grab a couple of nearby caches before everyone else got up. A quick find with hardly any passing traffic Tftc.

we didn't have this one so we stopped to get it. I had to time my finding of this one with the passing traffic but it was found quickly and replaced after Mum signed the log.

One of the better town signs that we have seen. Just a pity it didn't have the word welcome on it as we haven't got an S yet for the GCA locationless. Thanks.
Found with TriBre, Sar Bear, Daisy Lexie, BosNewellgus, Fairy Bum, KidzJCT, Coopin8or, Gummy Dales, Trenton8or, Cache Lord, Jelly Fish and Liam02. (Did I miss anyone??)
We had been planning a 4 day trip to Stanthorpe to do a Hard run on all the Caches in Stanthrope, but due to some family issues we did not manage to complete this plan but the kids and us still wanted to have a run on putting up a Record Run for Queensland. So who is up for a quick 1 Day run to Stanthrope and back???
Mastamak and myself had put the plan in place on what our path would be but our main aim was to claim all the caches on the AS, Fruit Run and unnamed animal power trails as well as many individual caches as possible.
We had left Brisbane at around 8-9pm and had made stopped up the road from our starting point for a quick sleep before we started. We found our first cache at 00:06 and then the fun started. We had done well the whole day and it got to the point that we would need to leave or spend the night. We arrived back in Brisbane around midnight, Tired but excited from our record run.
Here is some Stats I have done.
Start Time - 00:06
End Time - 18:50
Total Run Time - 18:44
Total Run Minutes - 1124
Total DNF's - 8
Attempted - 363 = 19.37 Caches Per Hr
Caches - 355 = 18.95 Caches Per Hr
Due to the volume of caches found I have written a generic log for all of them. This should in no way detract from the fun we had in finding each and every cache. A big thank you to all cache owners in this area and I believe that the OZ Mega 2015 will be a great event if this is just the start of the caches.
This was the 289th find of 355 finds for the day. We had 8th DNF's by this time of the day, with a total of 8 DNF's for the day.

We had planned a four day geocaching run to the Stanthorpe area but due to a few personal issues we were unable to do so. We instead decided that we would do a quick one day dash to Stanthorpe and back.
Our aim was to complete the AS, Fruit Run and unnamed animal power trails as well as many individual caches as possible.
We left Brisbane at about 8.30pm the night before and called in to Warwick for a couple of quick finds and a break. Right on midnight we were positioned for our first powertrail find.
Everyone was tired so we decided to head back to Brisbane early. We arrived back in Brisbane right on midnight.
In all we found 355 geocaches for the day with 8 DNFs.

Net88 and myself were heading for the servo to refuel to make sure we could go the distance of finding a lot of caches out on the back roads. Seeing as we would be driving past a few to get there it would be silly not to stop and find them! Net88 was on the ball at this one and had the cache to hand quick smart. We signed the log and replaced the cache as found. I remember driving into town at the start of this weekend thinking to myself that there would definately be a cache behind this sign. I was right.

In Stanthorpe for Easter and some caching. After a beautiful and busy day Saturday, Sunday was wet and windy. We set out to attempt some caches and I decided that they would only be drivebys. I didn't fancy diving into long grass and bush in the rain. A great day in the end and a wet cacher. TFTCSL

9416 kms travelled in 21 days, one awesome eclipse observed near Mt Carbine in Northern Queensland and 712 cache finds, including a small handle of FTF's.
This was a trip I'd been planning for over 12 months with the main reason being to observe the solar eclipse on the morning of the 14th of November. I had decided to drive to Palm Cove and back, where my penthouse accommodation was located, while the rest of the family flew up and back. I love the drive and the unknown adventures that lay ahead; and I even think the last time I did one this big may have been for the previous eclipse in Australia which occurred over SA.
Apart from the great experiences, awesome scenery, and the characters met, the other reason to drive was to also do some serious caching, with the plan to stop at some power trails along the way including the Fruit Run and A.S. series near Stanthorpe on the way up and the Mid North Coast Wander series, just out of Port Macquarie, on the way back.
I had five days to travel each way with ten days in between spent in Palm Cove holidaying with my family. My route up took me from Melbourne to Tocumwal and up to Glenn Innes, through Toowoomba, Rockhampton and the coast road to Cairns while my route back was a bit more erratic. Heading from Cairns to Townsville then via Charters Towers to Rockhampton. From here it was through the amazing mining region to Roma then across to Dalby down through Stanthorpe (again) to Armidale, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga, Tocumwal and then home - phew.
Once in Stanthorpe I continued caching for a while longer before checking into a local hotel, having some dinner at the adjoining Steak House Restaurant (which was fantastic) then heading back out to tackle the 110 caches in A.S. series, which I did manage to complete (until more where added a couple of days later). Thanks Team Robins for the great time around here and I really enjoyed meeting up with you and having some of your fantastic home made ginger beer. A nice quick find here - thanks everlasting.
