I think we saw where this one should have been but sadly no cache found on this visit.
Nice quick find after following a very well defined geotrail. Thanks for the cache awesome area to walk and explore.
Searched around tree, lots of loose leafs and sticks around. Tall grass and overgrown around.
Headed north to convert a few coloured spots into Smilies. This was a quick easy find. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Have never been to the top end of Bribie Island, and had noticed that there were a few caches, and now an Ad Lab to hunt at that end. So decided to go for a walk over that way when we noticed that an Event had been organised in about 10 days time. Well, that just seems like destiny...Okay, organised for the parents and the wife to all go for a drive, catch a few caches in West Caloundra in the morning, lunch as a picnic at Kings Beach and then move the car ready to walk across to the top of Bribie.Cache 2 for the day.Wandered in and about the park. Lovely to come to a quiet place this close to suburbia... Park ad cache were quick to find.Signature in the log, Thanks for bringing me here!
Was in area doing an ADLAB and also locating any caches within area, this was one to find, Thanks Wesso Family, and Pure Sri, cache is in good condition
Found with a helper today just after i had found HUEY. I parked my car and headed along the path just as a car pulled up behind me. I exited the concrete path and followed the trail until i spied the item referred t in the hint. Whilst in the bush, the two occupants of the other appeared and one called out "are you geocaching". Good thing that i got a bit of help, because i was having no luck. Log book was signed by us both and we returned to the cars. Its not often you bump into someone looking for the same cache as you at the same time. I think third time in a dozen years. Thanks for the cache Pure Sri and Wesso Family. Cheers
Took advantage of an extended weekend trip up the coast. Out and about and caching with RoddyC Princess 1005 MummaBear66.TFTCache Adopted by Wesso Family from Pure Sri
Hatzofff and I are around Caloundra for a few nights.Nice walk from the corner then a bit of scrub-taming. Now on to Ben & Nic.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 4:03 pm on 24 October 2023. TFTC, Adopted by Wesso Family from Pure Sri
Logbook is disintegrating. Several trails leading to the cache. Pobblebonk pond is nearly dry, and the pobblebonks are scarcely heard. Otherwise, lovely walk, and a lovely find!
Good hide. Nice walk to the cache. There was a weird sound the whole time we where there it sounded like guns but consistent we think it was frogs. TFTC.
New log is needed, managed to sign the piece of paper that was least waterlogged.

Following my find at a nearby cache, I made my way along the paths to this cache Not the most photogenic of billabongs, it obviously has some significance. Ive never heard of Pobblebonk…what a funny name!
Heading towards GZ, I followed the geotrail to the cache, which was semi-hidden under natural camo. Log book signed, I replaced it and tried to add a little more natural camo. TFTC

Spent a few nights in Caloundra to get in the last swim for the season, spend some time with friends and of course pick up a few more caches in the area.
Such a well paved path into this one and a fairly easy find after reading the hint. All good here.
Thanks Wesso Family for the cache.

We decided to head up to the Sunny Coast to grab some Adventure Labs and caches to bump up our numbers for this months challenge. Who knew 100 Adventure Labs and caches would be this challenging.
We didn’t anticipate doing any of the caches in the area, but considering we’re nearby grabbing some Adventure Labs we might as well make the most of it.
We had no issue navigating to this one as theirs a well established geotrail all the way to GZ. Once there the cache was quickly spotted and in hand.
Thanks for bringing us here.

A relatively easy find. Thanks for the cache. The kids had a good time finding it.
Explored around abit but been raining lots, couldn’t find anywhere around tree
Found the tree easy enough, only to stop for a couple of moments and take in the surroundings to find the cache
After a big night at the Caloundra music festival it was great to get out for a walk and enjoy the peace and quiet.
I was sure I was at the right location just took a few moments to glean exactly where to look.
Signed and returned to its hides hole.
Cheers

Enjoying a day at the park, first time on the mountain bike tracks - with a 20in Bmx still loads of fun.
Checked the right gum 3 times and the wrong ones just as many.
It wasn't until I poked around with a stick that we found it.

Staying in Caloundra for the holidays and we came looking for a few geocaches this afternoon. Such a lovely spot. After following a red herring we corrected ourselves and GeoM was again first to find the cache.
Wesso Family I found your cache Pobblebonk Billabong on 22/3/2022, 10:50 am. This is my find 3332 and find # 4 today. A quick and easy find. Lovely location. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Catching up on some old logs - found this one in my notes from almost a year ago... oops! I'd originally DNF'd this cache when it was in its older location in the same vicinity, but no troubles on this particular day, aside from the fact that recent torrential rain made the area around GZ a bit of a quagmire. And mozzies much?! Thanks for the cache, Wesso/Pure Sri!
