Logs
Could not find this cache today and after reading previous logs it may need some maintenance?
Out with the Q1 group of cachers today and went to find this cache. Those who had found it before confirmed that I was looking in the right place. They also confirmed that this cache needed maintenance.
After having a great breakfast at an even nearby a group of us decided to hunt out some of the local caches with this one being #6 .
Were advised by past finders that it must no longer be there.... CO might like to look and confirm.
I will not post another maintenance as another member of our group has already done so.
TFTC.

Havng checked with CO where I thought the cache was, we made our way back here to claim the cache. T4tc
You know the feeling when you've found the damn cache only to realise something isn't quite right cache is "not reachable" due to fair means or foul. CO perhaps needs to revisit and correct this one. Logging this one anyway and will sign when next on holiday here. TFTC
School athletics day held here today so as the kids got ready to go back to school I thought I would look for this one as I could keep out of sight, I trusted my GPS, I felt and I looked, maybe I didn't know where it was after all, I was so sure I had it sussed Thanks for the hide Trout-fly, maybe next time I will find it.
Looked all over until there was no light left! Had a pretty good couple of ideas where it was but we still didn't find it. Will have to try again another day
Third time lucky. Determined to find this and the only logical place eureka. Great cunning hide. TFTC
7th of 8 successful finds in Lloyd Elsmore Park this morning. Decided this cache had to be in a certain spot and checked there at least twice without feeling anything. Kept searching nearby and on the point of giving up when we decided on a visual inspection as a last resort. It paid off! Can't believe how we'd missed it when simply 'feeling' for the cache. #682. TFTC.
Knew exactly where it would be ... but signing the log was slightly harder! A nice break in between Christmas shopping! TFTC
I came to GZ and immediately noticed a telltale sign of where the cache was hidden. TFTC.
There is a school sports day going on so it was super hard to be stealthy but we managed to do it!
Very good hiding spot. Took us a while to find this cache, it was quite tricky. Tftc
We spotted what might be the cache... We will have to return with tools to retrieve it, or have a better look nearby.
Nice hide, had found one very similar just the other day so was in the first place Ger looked. 4th find of the day TFTC
Originally logged and found whilst out with mum (keylev) but now have own account so logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Thanks for the cache.

After getting the wrong idea from the title and shimming under the fence, gps settled and I got a correct hunch. Finally a find for me as Markgeostar had been on a winning streak so far. Unfortunately my pen had wiggled free of its pocket on the way and so unable to put down our names... if Troutfly needs proof please email me.
Had to apply extra stealth here with plenty of people enjoying the park today but managed to find ourselves at GZ without looking too suspicious. Had a a hunch and it paid off super quick too which definitely helped. Always enjoy a cache that is more suited to my height - the log was mulch though so I replaced it with a fresh new one. TFTC
2nd attempt, finally found it as there was not so many muggles around this time to perform a better search
Found and log signed thanks to a little help from trout-fly on how to extract cache. A little extra height goes a long way with this one. Cool hide
Day 4 of Woody and Papa's Mega Adventure. Papa's going solo this afternoon. As Papa was getting closer he was gaining in confidence based on the logs and a 'similar' cache near home. However he came away empty handed!!
Reperio at 0900.
This was day 3 of a fantastic week in New Zealand as part of the upcoming NZ Mega weekend, and after parking close by, I wandered over to GZ where there weren't too many places to hide a cache...and soon had it in hand.

Found with Retrokiwi, paper saturated, leaky container, couldn't write on paper.
This one was tricky so I searched a long time at the right place till I found him.
But a very cool hide!
Thank you very much

MMMmmm you will need to be more than 5'4" tall to be able to reach it on your own.
Quick find of nice, dry cache and cute hide. SL and then replaced but please see maintenance log... NINO TFTC
Yay!!! FINALLY!!! Been here previously at nite and while we were in the right place we couldn't feel what we could see in daylight. Earns a favorite for sneakiness. TFTC!!!
Yay second times the charm...I was in the exact place previously, but a birds eye view of it was the key!
#320 Such a satisfying find!! I was about to give up when I saw a little something..... voila! Thank goodness! TFTC- great hide!
Looked and looked all round the fence where we were directed to, but couldn't find it at all. SOunds like a bit of a tricky hiding place!
Quick and easy find, as on approach to GZ i had an idea as to where it could be and i was right. Great placement and nicely done. TFTC!
taking the higher ground proved successful for me today - not before an awkward encounter with a local though (not sure if he hangs out there regularly, seemed quite lonely). Great hide. TFTC
Mum and Mstr 7 had a go at this one while.dad and miss 3 were swimming. Looked both sides of the fence but no luck. Came back after the swim and family had another look. Gps seemed to be.spot on so had us stumped. Then suddenly had a thought and it proved correct. Great little hide. Very clever
Praise the Lord....i found it. 2nd visit. My GPS was sending me many different directions. The annoying thing was that i checked that spot but didnt find it till i had another look 5 mins later. Awesome hide
Upon approach I was pretty sure we had made a navigational error and ended up on the wrong side of a fence...but very luckily we both had another idea of how this one could be disguised...and so it was.

3rd time lucky for me. Thanks to MarMis for the reassurance that I was looking in the right place. A sneaky one indeed. TFTC.
It seems that you need to go to this cache twice hahaha. As previous finders I went back today. After having the area confirmed. I did look at the same spot for 10 times in my first visit. Still couldn't find it so called Adamsfamilyof4 and yes I was looking in the right spot. Knowing that this was the first spot I looked anyway....So it seems I needed to have a push in my back to find the cache....
So happy that I found it...it was frustrating to know that I was looking at the right spot, but still couldn't find it or better couldn't catch it (:))
Thanks for the push

Was worried about this cache - Marmis was teasing me that another cache the AdamsFamilyof5/ JacktheAllBlack was last to find had been muggled... Would have been our third [xx(] in a short spece of time.
We raced out today to check - and THE CACHE IS STILL THERE!!! Hasn't moved, hasn't been muggled.
Phew - we were so relieved [:x]

As I know you don't have to get close to the nest...still didn't find the cache in any other place too....maybe I am too small to see it hangin
2nd DNF on this one. Noted that there were several young birds nested in the bushes, so I would suggest that cachers skip this one for the next few weeks until the young ones learn to fend for themselves.
No luck. No clues or hint so no idea what to look for. Couldn't see any obvious signs so gave up for now. Will save for another day
Mum's second chance to try out her new GPS - this cache was one we had tried to locate during our Mothers Day outing, but it had been abandoned as dinner and drinks time approached!
Mum was determined to find this one, so made sure Dad was holding the baby. The boys ran ahead through the muddy terrain (getting mud splashed up the back of their clothes) as Mum and Dad searched both sides of the fence.
Dad hoisted one of the boys on his shoulders to search up high, and nearly broke his nose getting him back down (with no cache to show for the pain!).
Not long after the search started, the rain started! We covered the baby, while the boys hid in the trees (not sure if it was to keep out of the rain, or a new game).
The rain quickly faded, and still no cache (and Mum's GPS seemed to be going round in circles!)... Just as we were about to give up, Dad handed Mum the baby and said I'll just check 'over there' (a place he had checked at the Mothers Day outing); Mum looked on, thinking "Well, its not going to be there - you checked there last time"... and suddenly Dad announced he had found it!
Mum was not impressed! Boys enjoyed watching the hockey, and had long given up on the cache!

I was upset that dad found it. I gave up half way through - Dad says I have to have more patience [:o)]
Finally I have put this little in my hands. It has been elusive.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
At last, at last! Looked for this one a couple of times with no luck. Had us baffled. This time we approached from both sides of the fence and in a few minutes had it spotted. Getting it out took a while as our diminished statures was a bit of a barrier. BUt perserverance pays off and we soon had it in our hot little hands. TFTC
#430, Came back for a second go, had to wait what felt like an eternity for a junior soccer team to disband. The wind was cold tonight. Wandered over under torchlight and eventually found cache in a very safe location. TFTC. Cool hide
Now this was sneaky, was i on the correct side of the fence, was my gps crazy, well after 3 checks of the same spot BINGO.
