Logs
There is nothing at GZ that the hint describes - I think the log has been removed. Cache should probably be archived.
Taybeedragon and I went on a tour of the Coromandel - one of the few places of New Zealand, especially of Te ika a Maui, that I have yet to explore throughly, and from there along the coast to Opotiki to see one of my many, many sisters. From 18 December to 5 January we found over 400 caches, including 12 adventure labs (60 caches), 20 or so TMGTs and a host of virtuals and earthcaches. And I hosted an event to see the sun come up on New Year's day - surprisingly popular given that it was at 5am. We climbed a lot of hills, saw some amazing beaches that were quite popular despite (or because of) the insane access to them, walk a lot of bush, entered and explored 8 gold mines and generally had an awesome time. However I am glad to be back, but now is the hard part, and I fear it will take just as long - logging!

Thanks to others photos we found the right log but the surroundings look quite different now. Searched everywhere couldn't find it.
No luck for me here. Great spot to have to come back to though. Will try another time.
Up this way with EyespyBen for the day trip
Had to read a Log to get this one
nice size

Found this but not as I was expecting. I replaced it where I found it and covered it a bit more. There looks like there has been some tidying up done in the area. Hopefully it stays safe and sound. No one about today which makes things easier. TFTC
Thanks a lot we enjoyed it verry much we had a fun time have a nise day THANKS again
There were two logs so it was hard and we also cut our fingers on the sharp stuff
Tough one, found the wrong log to start with then my sister said "what about this log" and yay we got it, great spot
Unexpected long weekend! Off to Coromandel then... Day 2 ... Some off-road activity around GZ. Replaced nested in small tree right beside GZ on my device. TFTC
Gosh, nearly tripped over it. Very surprised it has not been muggled before now. Great container. Tftc
Still windy as, so headed over to Matarangi for a look about. Took ages to find this, couldnt find the hint item as it wasn't obvious. Nearly gave up, but the found it shout rang out, phew! Very well hidden, thanks
The weather fined up for this afternoon so it was time to do a bit more exploring.
This took a bit to find though I did succeed in the end. Found the cache 11m NNW of my GZ.
Cheers for the cache.

After a night in Whitianga we are doing a circuit of the coromandal and a bit of an adventure. This was well hidden considering its size. Tftc
Find number 5829. My second visit to this one. Last time I had no idea. In fact you could say it was no picnic. This time I went straight to it and wondered how I had missed it last time. Thank you for the placement.
Decieded that today it was time for a bit of a road trip and the need to grab a few caches that were sitting in an out of the way location or three. So heading up here nice and early West of Coromandel Township for a few mainly along the roadside.
Enjoying the trip around the area.
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

Took a bit to spot the hint item then had the cache in hand. Nice size for this spot. TFTC!!!

Not spotted first time round but then we all looked around and Anita came up with the goods! Love the container!! SL TFTC
Found at 4:10 pm while on holiday up north.
While we were up here I wanted to grab some caches in Matarangi as it's just over 500 km from home which puts them in a certain bracket for a challenge cache near me. Didn't end up getting the numbers, but there's always Dunedin.
Anyway, I followed the GPS around the spinney until I got to the closest point and then saw the hint object. From there the cache was a quick find - a good size, too. All good here. TFTC

That was hard! GPS is way off but at least there were 7 of us searching so we found the right log in the end.
This cache took us a while as our GPS was a bit off! Fantastic cache and good camouflage. TFTC
Nice to have a bigger cache:) It was a little way N of my GPS but the hint guided me and there it was. all dry etc
We travelled north and are holidaying in and around the Coromandel staying in motels, with friends and in our tent while getting out each day to see the sights, swim in the beautiful beaches or go for walks etc as well as locating a few geocaches, of course. We have had good weather the whole time with just a few showers at night and some wind while at hahei.
Thank you for this cache to all the Cache owners and another smiley face.

Biggest cache we've ever seen; cool to show some young friends geocaching for the first time. Only disappointment is that the trackable has gone already!
Summer holidays with the family but today was set a side for me and geocaching. I took my eldest with me setting off from Tairua around 7am - weather was stunning, almost a little too hot but it was an awesome day - no DNFs.
We managed to park in the shade right next to gz and started the hunt. Considering the size of this one we should have been faster. The cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to a straight forward hint and placement. Cheers minglis, TFTC

Had to widen my search from GZ...soon found wow thats big ha ha and well camoed...I am guessing that the fantail hovering around was showing me the hide..
Thanks Minglis fun cache
Thanks Minglis fun cache
What a random hide!! Hint was great, but didn't realise there was more to it. All in good condition. Thanks for the cache minglis
School holiday trip to Auckland/Coromandel with the family. After a night in Auckland we came across to Hotwater beach Top10 for a couple nights. Left the family to go for a morning wander at Hot Water beach while I ducked out here for a FTF opportunity. An expanding search soon netted this nice big cache. Cheers!
A lovely park but the trees were throwing the phone out so had to look at the hint to find it TFTC minglis
Found by the kids while on a visit from the South Island. Nice large cache. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25. Find # 1657
Macfam41 found it. First time to Martarangi. Nice spot. Here from Waikanae for a wedding on the beach later today. Had to grab a cache from a new location. Thanks
This was a lovely shady spot and was nice to get out of the sun today. Cache soon located, thanks
Miss A got attacked by a nest of spiders that were guarding the location! Great cache to hunt for on a hot summers day! TFTC
Trackable gone
Trackable gone
Found. But not by using the hint. Had to use a logged picture to get my bearings.
A find with miss 9 on our last night in matarangi (for this trip anyway!). Picked up the TB for our travels. Tftc
Staying at Whitianga for a week's R&R and looking for a few cache's here and there in between swimming and tramping. Yet another which son found first! TFTC.
Easy find! Few muggles around, 3 trinkets geocache friend and I chose one each to take on our journeys. Nice spot for caches
Easy find, few muggles around but managed to sneak away from them without a glitch. Nice geocache and easy to find with hint. My geocache friend and I took 1 trinket each out of the 3 available.
Found it at 18:02 hrs. We made a bit of D-tour to find this cache because of its indicated size: we wanted to drop-off some TB's. Easy find and yes, we have left 3 TB's, of which we own one. Hopefully it makes a safe return back home at the other side of the globe. TFTC!
Might come back again, but think coordinates were way off. Someone said that it was under a bush, we found a bush right next to a log but no cache. Might of been taken. Really didn't want to leave this as a DNF
TFTC we were with NZKen. It was funny and it’s opposite the destructed picnic table
Little bit of walking around with the GPS bounce and we soon had cache in hand. Loved the size. Log signed and off to the next one
Found with team BOP what a long but awesome weekend we had with lots of walking up and down hills but the views were worth it such a spectacular place we live in.

Day 2 -We had planned a big weekend with 6 of us travelling the Coromandel area and logging caches as team BOP. Found many great spots, several caches we replaced wet log sheets and others missing for some time. Lots of km's travelled on tarseal, gravel and some not so good roads. Lots of rained showers seemed to plague us on the first day. SLTFTC
On a long road trip with BOP around this beautiful Coromandel - This was certainly an experience and caching with numbers helps makes some quick finds. This one did take us a little while but all good in the end - TFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap), (Mr) Davidson clan, NZFlossy, TNXPro, and Philip.Perry… This is the first time we have cache overnight together. What an adventure… We group signed as Team BOP for efficiency and expediency.
We visited so many beautiful and remote locations on the Coromandel Peninsula. Many of these areas deserved to be hosts to caches. However, we encountered several that needed owner maintenance. Wet logbooks seemed to be far too common (We’ve had a lot of rain). Oftentimes, a sodden logbook was stuffed back into the container with a new, bagged logbook alongside (What's up with that?). And then there were some caches that were quite obviously missing (and have been for a while)… Nevertheless, a huge thank you to all of the COs for bringing us to these amazing places… We are determined to return and explore some more.
Found after a short search... TFTC.

A quick stop as we head off for a late January road trip. Heading off around the Coromandel. First stop in Matarangi. Wow - not a small container but took a little hunting. Tftc
We had a debate about the points of the compass and then settled the argument by checking a real compass. Neither of us were correct. The coordinates were well off on my iPhone which is no surprise. This is a big cache with great camo. TFTC
