I dont recall exactly but it must be about 4 months ago at an event when OZGrumpy, Jlly and I had a chat about riding the Reisling and Rattler Trails for caches.Today is the day and as the weather gods would have it, its going to be a 35deg day Cache quickly found and log stamped TFTC
Thanks Frozen Feet for placing this cache and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #10699 on 2/11/2024 at 12:57PMA plan was hatched to ride along the Riesling Trail and collect a few caches. A delightful day in the company of Cheezel and Jolly riding along and signing logs. This is a special place, very enjoyable. We also collected some others that were nearby or along the way.
A nice walk along part of the Riesling Trail grabbing the odd cache as we passed by.Many thanks for the hide Frozen Feet
Travel to the Clare Valley and try and get the rest of the that I couldn't find previously. As well as surrounding town. Unloading and loading the mobility scooter to collect the finds. TFTCNice find.
Nice walk from the previous as we make our way home from a lovely lunch and night in Mintaro
First find on our ride on the Reisling Trail. Love these sections in the cuttings with pine trees.
We are off on a trip to the Birdsville Races and then across to Queensland - the plan is for about 6 weeks of travel - all going well.
Week 1 we have travelled from Portland to Farrell's Flat near Clare.
Today the weather was a little better so we took the bikes to Auburn and rode to Penwortham for a very nice lunch and then back to Auburn - about 30km all up.
We really enjoyed most of this series of caches - not too close together and generally in easy to get to spots from the bike tracks. Only 1 DNF for the day
Thanks for contributing to our holiday Frozen Feet

Last night we stayed in Clare and spent the morning caching in the area. As we headed back to Adelaide, we stopped near Auburn for a break from driving and to look for some more caches. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of this cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Frozen Feet for the cache and your contribution to the RT series.
A return visit to Clare was planned for the long weekend with the JAMS crew plus tallbikestan to find a lot of the caches that we didn't get to on our last visit along with the Rattler, Riesling and NE trails as well as the Mid North Channel Country trail. [^]
We had three very full days with perfect weather for caching, lots of bike riding, lots of walking and lots of driving along dirt tracks. We were lucky it had not recently been wet as some of the roads we drove on would not have been passable if wet. Loved the scenery at this time of year with everything looking very green as well as the bright yellow of the canola crops.
A fun weekend of caching, lots of caches found and lots of cool places visited.
Thanks for the cache Frozen Feet.

A big long weekend with the JAMS Crew (JJ52, allister w(me), mogni, Sir Spectre and tallbikestan). We road from Riverton to Stanley Flat on day 1. Then more riding near Spalding on day 2. Then finished the weekend with finding caches around the area in the car. TFTC
glad we had electric bikes for this trail.
The JAMS team ( JJ52,Allister w, Mogni, and sir_spectre minus mitchell&hound ) but Tallbikestan was with us instead and we where out for there usually monthly caching adventure. This time it was over the october long weekend instead of the usual day trip. The taget this time was Drop into the Light a long ladder cache on the way to clare and then to clear the Rattler trail, Riesling Trail, Ne Trail saturday on the bikes and then sunday do the Mid North Channel Country bike trail. Monday on the return home was to get Peter's view a 2001 cache. Of course there was many, many other's found on route to the various target for the weekend, somewhere around 260 found by the team. It could have been more but we were not going at a flat out pace, just steady and getting a blow out on the bike 1.6 km's from the end of the Mid North Channel Country bike trail didn't help. I didn't see any snakes this trip but allister did, he saw 5. The caches this trip where written in as JAMS, i forgot the stamps. Also 1 cache was placed by the JAMS team this trip. Out of all the bike tracks i preferred the Rattler /Riesling trail. I like riding through the very rich ( after all the recent rains ) fields of yellow flowers.

Went a wandering with Sebastbat today. Catching up on a few remaining Rieslings. A worthy cause - I'll drink to that
A pine, a hollow... all that we could ask for!
Thanks heaps to Frozen Feet for hiding and maintaining this cache on our SA geo game map

Moving around each and every day finding and signing using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Plenty of that actually!!!

Please do stay as safe as possible when caching.
Keep a lookout for bogs, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for any old bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now everything's opening more - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Heaps of appreciation of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
Thank you for reading all this addition to the log word count!
Now well into the second month of Twenty Twenty Too Enjoy!!!

Headed up this way with the bike, the main aim being the Rattler Trail, and after finding all that was there to find of those had enough time left to find this, and 3 others on the Riesling Trail.
Thanks to Frozen Feet for putting out this cache for me to find

I joined some wine drinking muggles, I don't drink, for a relaxing weekend in the Clare Valley so I could wander the countryside looking for a cache while keeping the galahs company.

Erin1405 and I did a round trip from Alice Springs down South along the coast and ended up in Sydney. We had a marvellous time on this amazing continent viewing a lot of new and beautiful impressions. Of course we searced and found some caches just like that one. Thanks a lot for hiding and many greetings from Germany.
I found this cache together with B.F.Pierce during our wonderful vacation in Australia. We drove four weeks with a camper van through this amazing country from Alice Springs to Sydney. We enjoyed the great people, wildlife and countryside so much. Thank you for the great cache! Best regards from Germany!
Today we hired a couple of bikes in Clare and biked down the Riesling Trail to Auburn, our aim was to collect all the caches we hadn't managed to walk to in the last couple of days. Mission was almost successful, with everything found that we looked for, just one close to Clare that we ran out of time for.
Overshot this one but found it quick enough when we backtracked. tftc

A cool fine Spring day for a drive around Auburn with Tassie Trekkers.
Not many muggles around today, and mostly good quick finds.
Thanks for the cache Frozen Feet,

Today we explored Alburn and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way with Roostaman and this was one of them. We enjoyed the trip around the back roads. An easy find at GZ.

5569 Found by baby&Mrs gopher on a wet windy morning in the Clare Valley at 1035. Even with the sometimes heavy showers we were able to make some finds to day. We parked roadside and baby made the scramble onto the trail. SL Tnx Frozen Feet.
tftc. We should have kept our eyes open a bit more, walked right into a massive wall of spider web with a huge spider in it. Was enough to make me scream. But after a few minutes my heart was back at the normal rate and cache was found.
Mrs iluvtrekking and I dropped our geo-men off in Riverton to undertake the 44 klm cycle ride back to Clare. They spent 9 hours to complete the trail with a couple of dnf's along the way but marvelled at the scenery and had an awesome day. Thanks Frozen Feet
After dropping the GeoHubbies off in Richmond they peddled off into the morning mist. 9 hours and 40ks later they emerged in Clare sore but triumphant. Thanks to all concerned in placing this epic series of caches.
Day 3 of our journey already, today we are heading from Clare to the Yorke peninsula. Again lots of caches on the way and this was one of them. Thanks for putting them all out there cachers of South Australia!

tftc the sun is peeking through the clouds on this supposed 20degree day. Pity it's a lil windy tho.
Mr Beetle's turn to grab this one. We are trying to get a few that are close to the road before the threatening rain starts. Found a shackle here as well as a cache. Thanks.
Another great find while in the area on holiday.
Thanks for setting up this cache Frozen Feet.

Logged as part of the BCBB assault of the Riesling Trail. Find #41 for the day and our last on the trail before coasting into Auburn under rapidly greying skies!
A great day was had by all and a big thank-you to all the CO’s who have gone to the trouble of setting up this great caching trail. A huge honourable mention goes to Emma (the littlest Shattell) and Luke (the littlest pirate) who both powered through the day at the head of the pack. TFTC Frozen Feet!

In Clare for the weekend and the BBBCBB (The extra B is for brilliant... What's the other extra B for? That's a typo). Three events, well over 60 caches, and quite a few milestones (congrats to the squirrel and a pair of cats) ensured it was a great weekend, if not a little exhausting! There was wine and cheese, D/T gap puzzle solving, much falling on the air pillow during rain and hot chocolate at the end of the ride courtesy of Mrs Scoobster! Has hot chocolate ever tasted so good? I think not!
This was find number 36 of 49 for the night for me. TFTC Frozen Feet!

Mr Tardis went on a big bike ride today with many other crazy cachers. We had a great time riding from Clare to Auburn (even though it was freezing cold!)
The caches were signed as BCBB (Big Clare Bike Bash). A really enjoyable bike ride with some great caches along the way.
Thanks for your cache along the trail Frozen Feet

In Clare for the weekend to do the Bike assault on the RT and Rattler series. We had a great day today , lots of fun with a great bunch of people, although a little sore after our 25 odd Km bike ride. The weather was kind to us, and although cold, the rain held off long enough for us to complete the series. Apologies for the generic logs, but we appreciate the time and effort that the CO has gone to, to place this series. Log was signed collectively as BCBB as requested by the CO.. TFTS
I claim this find as a part of the BCBB. 45 kilometres over two days on the resiling and rattler trails.
Cheers for the cache and the memories.

Not far to Auburn now
The ride along the rail trail to get this far started cold, but has warmed up to a lovely day
The tail winds and mostly downhill nature of the trail from Clare has meant an easy ride.
This cache, however, tried to ruin me fun day out by not wanting to be found [:o]
I kept poking and after a goodly ten minutes the cache came out to play
