Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.
Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).
If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

I was enjoying quite a few walks around this area and decided one an early morning hike up to this peak. It was a tough climb up here, stopping a few times on the way to catch my breath. The views were great on both sides and the area was all mine. The cache container was just a piece of plastic found a bit away from where I thought it would have been. I had a tiny scrap of paper with me and I didn't find the TB left (which I thought was strange to leave one in a damaged cache) Anyway, I hope the CO comes to fix this one up soon as the views are well worth the effort to get up here.

Staying at Lakeside camp ground for a 10 year celebration with uni friends and we thought we’d go for a walk. Found a couple of caches and DNFd 1. Beautiful views across the lake from all locations.
This was the one DNF and after a good search, scrolling through past logs and then searching some more it was decided to concede defeat here. Sounds like whatever the last finder found might have disappeared as well a year later.
Top spot for a cache. A steep climb up indeed!

Beautiful views from up here. Third cache of four attempted today. We found what appears to be the cache, empty. Given how it was hidden, and looking at the pictures in the gallery, this appeared to be the cache. I added a piece of paper for a temporary log and left a TB. The container could use replacing though. TFTC.
Found at 4pm whilst doing the Bolte Bay-Estate Spur circuit. It was out in the open.
We were not looking for the geocatching but, luckily, we found it, and I recognized it. It was my 7 year old son who found the box. After that, I realized this idea is good for him to keep moving on. Cheers
Dropped by boat on the point and straight up. Totally worth it. Challenging walk.
I've had this cache and Estate Spur on my to-do list for some time now, so I finally decided that the weather was right for a drive and a little walk—a lovely 25-odd degrees. Hmm, I am not the most sure-footed person in the world, and, in hindsight, I probably should have left it for another day, when I had someone else with me. But why torture someone else too? And I was there now—it's not far away, but it's far enough away. Once at the top of the hill I was met with a bunny rabbit and a lovely view. Maybe it was worth the effort after all ... A week later I passed this spot in the boat and was surprised how high up it appeared from the water.
Once at GZ I found the cache easily, despite it being unloved since October last year. After a short rest to gather my strength and admire the view, I moved on to the final item on my hit list. TFTC!

Yah found it this time. Did it as a challenge along with a few other caches in the area.
6:48 pm Departed carpark for Coller Bay Point to place cache.
7:00 pm Place Cache
7:06 pm Depart Coller Bay lookout for Point Mibus
7:22 pm Reached sign 200 metres down to the point, turn right for Estate Spur
7:28 pm Frazer Sign
7:30 pm standard landscape picture
7:31 pm Point Mibus CACHE Yah!
I then hit the trail back up the hill to grab the Estate spur cache and this one.
7:39 back at the 200 metre sign looking uphill starting to feel a real burn.
7:50 Kinda Commandos Cache YAH!
I was actually heading for the Estate Spur cache but to conserve phone power I switched it into airplane mode a hoofed it up the hill. When I piped out at the top I realised I was very close to this cache so went for it first. Was a good feeling to get this Smiley. Thanks Ric and Tarbit for the cache, it really is a lovely spot.

Headed out with dad on this wonderful Father's Day to complete this cache as well as a few others. Very impressed with this one, especially since the cache has been replaced since I was last up here! Beautiful location and a nice find. Rescued the travel bug. Found with Beanslayr. TFTC!

Great to see this online, though hard work for Beanslayr to get to. Had geoson guiding me, so all cool. Well done. TFTC. Now for some sightseeing, and maybe some more cache site scouting. Cool!
Thanks for the efforts of Annoying Tarbit for visiting GZ and setting up a new cache.
Cheers,

I saw this one had been disabled due to a missing cache so I contacted the CO last week to offer to replace it. He agreed so I travelled with a new container and log book to leave here. We drove as far as we could having picked up a couple of other caches along the way. We hiked up the direct route with a couple of breaks along the way. It was getting near Geobaby's nap time so she was a little restless. Paused to catch our breath and enjoy the view from the top. Signed the new log and replaced the cache. Dropped the Noahs Miner TB. Easier getting back down to the car and then we could whisk Geobaby back to base for her well deserved rest! Thanks for setting up this cache Ric and I'm glad to be able to help to get it up and running again.

It appears that this cache may have been mugged. Bit of a shame as it is an out of the way spot with a great view.
Unfortunately, I do not live locally, so will need to wait until the end of the year when I'm next camping in the area.
If anyone is in the area and has a spare container etc, let me know and I will re-active it.
Regards,
Ric

Bit of a hike! Searched the area and found a few spots where it could of been but remains to be found. After a long time searching in the cold and rain, decided to give it a go another day.
No luck sitting here in the rain gps jumping around. Will wait and see if co gets this before heading back down. Help
Traditional annual Easter caching trip with 4 geokids & 4 geoadults all thoroughly enjoying a fantastic walk to reach this cache. We started at the lakeside camping ground car park & made our way to Point Mead & then to Point Mibus from there it was all uphill! The 300m hill climb was lots of fun, after which we enjoyed a well deserved rest at the top. Impressive views & so worth the walk.
Familiarisation with a different aspect of one of our favourite skiing parts of the lake was super.
We eventually came to a consensus as to the path we'd take back down but after a few meters down the 4WD track we decided it was much too treacherous for us & our geokids. Back up the hill we go & off to the track along the ridge. A nice walk along the ridge & of course a steep decline in the end where we all relied in hopping from ti-tree to ti-tree to assist our decent. No need for bum breaks!
All in all a 2 hour round trip including a 20-30 min break at the top to enjoy the amazing views.

Were in the area to scout out a walk - if you look to get some more exercise, park at the Lakeside visitor area and walk along Bolte Bay track then come back along the Estate Spur track (or vice versa). This is approx 8 km and fairly flat except for the climb up to the spur. Fortunately I remembered that there was a cache in the area and we happened to walk past it, lucky us! Unfortunately, not much of a view as clouds were low - we'll have to come back for that. TFTC!

The weather during the working week wasn't great and maybe due to the grey skies I was super keen to hit the trail/road for some caching. The event in Alexandra "Leaving on a Jet Plane", by Nufrat, was just the perfect excuse to make the hike out to these distance lands and regions that I hadn't hit so far. In summary the 14 hour run result in 21 finds with a mixture of high and low D/T ratings and by the late afternoon the clouds had cleared which made for some impressive views of Lake Elidon. The night had clear skies and no wind which made for some great night caching too. This epic run started at 6am and I crawled back into HQ around 10:30pm and was asleep by 10:35pm.[xx(] Another epic run completed which was just awesome. Today was on the trail with caching wing man and buddy Ahomburg.
What a bloody steep hill which only got steeper as you got closer to the top.[xx(] OMG that was tuff! A quick lie down next to the cache which was found easily allowed me to get my breath back. A satisfying find and spot to get too. It was hard but the views it offered was worth it. TFTC Ric the Adventurer, now to get down without an incident. This was physically the hardest cache found today.

During the week, a plan was put in place to attend the Nufrat "Leaving on a Jet Plane" event in Alexandra, so My caching partner in crime, SedgwickDave and I decided to make a full day of it. I picked up Dave at 6AM and we headed first to Marysville to pick up a few there first.
After finishing up at the event and saying our good byes, we decided to go and find all the newly published caches in town as well as any others we came across in our travels.
Joined up with Riddell who we cached with for the rest of the afternoon. This was a bit of a challenge, we parked at the bottom of the hill and began the climb. Oh what a climb, combined with the chilli wind, as we ascended it started to get quite cool until the sun decided to show itself for the first time today. The climb was difficult, but we were rewarded with a fantastic view from the top. This cache was definitely one of today's hi lights and a favourite for me. The cache seemed a bit out today, but with not too many spots to search, the cache was soon found.
Thanks to Ric the Adventurer for the cache. TNLN

Was joined by ahomburg and sedgwickDave on a caching day in the country after Nufrats event.
Why does the hill get steeper and steeper?
We were looking for the rope near the top and it was debatable if we would survive the decent if we slipped.
Once at the top someone had a bit of a lie down to recover while others looked around for the cache.
Needless to say, he who lies down is closest to the cache.
Having recovered, the cache log was signed, pictures were taken and the decent was made uneventfully.
TFTC and the workout.

Found our first geocache today - found by chance which introduced us to geocaching... Have used our letter boxing name from Dartmoor in the UK. Great walk, great views, enjoyed the slippery decent!
Driving from Goughs Bay to Melbourne via Bonnie Doon, Alexandra, Yea, Strath Creek, Tallarook and caching all the way.
Hard work walking up this hill/mountain but worth the view in the end. As kids we used to run up these hills all day long during camping holidays but 45 years later, I was a bit slower today.

Enjoyed the steep climb tp GZ. The views were well worth the effort. Thanks for bringing me to this location Ric the Adventurer.
Wow, what a lovely spot! Great walk up the hill, was a bit more of a hike than anticipated, but we loved it! Despite the droning sound of a hundred boats on the lake, it was a great way to spend the evening. Left a dice, took nothing. Almost slid to our deaths on the way down.
lovely view worth the effort even if the old dear did need a bit of assistance.tftc. nanna.c
I was up this hill running a nav course for year 8 xavior boys. I knew a couple of caches were in the general area. Was glad to see it was only 150m away. That 4wd track really gets your heart pumping climbing up it. Found the cache without problem and signed the log. I left a mini dice in the cache. Great view from up here. TFTC
Stumbled across this taking 13 kids on a Year 10 camp after walking around the coast from Lakeside and up the spur. Fantastic view and a great ridge walk to follow. Didn't have GPS and wasn't looking for a cache, but somehow my eyes automatically tracked cachewards! Took: yellow car. Left: dolphin.
Came the short way but will definitely be going back the long way. What a great view from here. Very worth the walk. TNLNSL. TFTC. KeMs
Found this early morning, a great walk to start the day, also happy to find I have phone service up here, so can log at same time.
Glad I didnt walk all way from our camp site at devil cove!!!!
Thanks for great spot, and also first to find
Some evidence of fireworks from the nye show! While they were impressive, still would have preferred people would have adhered to the total fire ban.
Cheers gordo
