Gone missing again, so it's time to put this one to sleep and open up the area for someone else to place a hide.
Searched for a bit with mike-miss but we couldn't locate it, and we decided it was home time and called it quits - it has been a long day!
After about 4 attempts we finally got this one. I love the crazy looks people give us as we almost always nightcache. TFTC
First geocaching endurance adventure for Geomatt123 and I, we loved it . The waipa river is fast flowing right now.
Found this one while on a 14 hour caching raid around Huntly and Hamilton with Friwinz! Really enjoyable day. Having a good run on nanos today tftc
Put our fingers through quite a few cobwebs and found one marble, but came up empty handed today.
Grabbed this one early in the morning before starting the power trail close by. Thought s was on the wrong side but as always i just had to trust the gps
Second DNF for me on this cache.

No luck finding this one today. We were abit exposed with the passing traffic and pedestrians so had to leave this one for another day.
Found!!! looked and looked for this quite a few times.
was ridiculously happy to stumble across it today. eyeballed a few cars driving past that were wondering what i was up to. didnt have pen so no log signed, but i did check it for any sign of Agent Smith and found it clean. TFTC

I took this on as a bit of a warm up exercise before tackling the power trail on the other side of the river. I didn't spot the cache immediately but it didn't take too long to put my hands on it. As noted the rubber ring has split. TFTC, Biggles.
Didnt have me fooled..........well only for a short while anyway.
You will need to replace the rubber ring on the cache as it is split. TFTC

A tiny cache and a lot of metal it could be on! Got there in the end though. Tftc. Centuryson from Australia
Yeah Mrs Toffee finds it. After telling Master Toffee were it was and him going completely the wrong way!!!!
Haven't done a nano for a while.

Finally bagged this one after a previous DNF. My GPS didn't like it here and kept leading me up and down the bridge a few times (a bit worrying considering its a nano and there's a lot of hiding places!) before finally settling down. A nano seemed a bit unnecessary for this placement
Found this one though, funny watching the other 2 walking past and back

No joy for us. Too many possibilities, too much traffic and rain, plus we were getting pushed for time by this stage of the day.
Oh so wet. My boots are full of water and mud. Must be mad to cache in this rain. Needed a Coffee but didnt have the cache owners phone number. Think they live close by here maybe.
Will return again for this one.
Will return again for this one.
Off down South to attend an event in Hamilton today. So might as well do a few caches on the way.
Took a little to locate this one. Luckily the grass was wet and there were puddles so that I could wash my dirty hands after searching for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.

Couldn't find it.
Will come back later.
Read through the discussion, do you update the cache co ordinate when you note the cache to a new place?
Bit hard to really search in daytime, but i've lived here all my life and wouldn't go out go the dark either Lol!

Found with Petesnz on our way to Waitomo I looked for this at Xmas but never found it when on the other side of the bridge.
After a DNF last time when it was at the other end of the bridge, this was a very quick find. Thanks.
7.55pm - Another one to come off the watchlist. Appears that we found the new cache as first to sign the log sheet. Another cache best done at night I reckon. TFTC
Found the one with the used logsheet in it and signed in after P and P.
Actually the fingers done the walking but could only produce 1 cache.
A lot easier in the dark

Surprised, a quick find this time BUT the logbook wasn't bare...it has entries by TWS, NZ Skyliner and so on ....up to Willbuild. Does this mean we have found the latest "missing" cache? Are there now two caches in place? Anyway, third time lucky for us! TFTC.
Doh, I had a quick look on Monday and didn't find it, so put a new one in place. I'll make a re-visit on the weekend and try to locate the old and new.
Wrong time of the day with this, only a very cursory look, then realised the number of DNF didn't warrant anymore searching. Perhaps another day.
TFTC.Thought I better go grab this one as it is only a couple hundred metres from my house
5pm - Second attempt on this one and still no find, I think it has gone as many have stated.
This one turned into quite an adventure, we'd only just arrived when a cop pulled up with flashing lights looking for someone who said he was going to jump off a bridge. He asked Punga his name and was he going to jump off the bridge? And had we seen a man here of a certain description? We can log a DNJ for that (did not jump) and a DNF for the cache, then we spotted the cop down the road, he had tracked down his man and was leading him out with handcuffs, either for a ride in his police car or maybe he was going to push him off the bridge!!
Very busy noisy place to search, no luck, but not sure what we were looking for and didn't want to hang around too long. Perhaps Agent Smith has struck again?

Searched and searched for this cache but could not find it. Thanks anyway McCutchan Cache clan
A tough hunt.... searched the footpath side first, then the other..... GZ today was middle of the road, so both options had to be explored. Got it! Home made log had to extract, is torn a little, and even harder to replace. Another nano cache off the list.....

Also a return visit after a DNF when this was out of order.. Neat little nano. TFTC
Fantastic, absolutely loved it! Took about 5 minutes to get the log out though, so finger-nail biters beware!

I guess agent smith has been paying a visit again, and this time took the whole cache, I'll check it out and see if I can find a better place
Glad to see others can not find it. Went back twice as the first time the people across the road were around. Second time was early morning and had what I thought was a good look around but no luck.
Stopped by to do a quick check on the cache and found quite a curious note written in the log......I bet Agent smith is a very nosy person *grin* (see attached picture)
Coordinates spot on for us this morning. Interesting historical notes on the cache page.
Many thanks

Bridge over troubled waters, no trouble finding the cache, GPS spot on, would have assumed it was on other side but trusted the technology on this one.

Found easy enough but I'd have to say I don't think it's a terribly safe location. 3rd ftf today. Now off to work
