Headed to GZ for this one with the most recent log in mind, thinking that we would probably be disappointed upon arrival. When we reached ground zero, our suspicions were confirmed: all we found was a construction site. We could get to GZ itself, however, but the land had been completely cleared apart from some new plants and temporary construction markers.
As the previous log noted, it is likely that this cache has been scuppered by construction. A check on it by the reviewing community would be greatly appreciated. We didn't take any photos today but we can return to GZ to get some if required.

This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Cache needs archiving - machinery has moved into the site for the replacement trunk sewer and the cache and surrounds are fenced off and are being bulldozed
Cache is still there but hidey hole is broken and so is cache. All that is left inside is a Carabina. Photo sent to CO of cache to confirm.
Tried to cover cache up as best as possible. Didn't have any spare paper to put inside so need some TLC. Nice spot though and a well thought out cache TFTC
Having just completed a nearby multi I decided to grab this one too while I was in the area. An easy and quick find here. Thanks for the effort you put in making your own hide. However there is some water in the bottom of the container but the log is dry in its zip lock bag. TFTC TNLN SL
I had a very pleasant morning collecting traditional caches in the north-west of Canberra ahead of the forecast storms. This cache was a straightforward find at GZ, and a really cool container - thank you, unicornnikita!
I took a walk this morning to pick up this cache. The grass is high and glad I didn't see any snakes.
Condition Report:. Good and dry
Log Status:. Lots of room
Thanks for hiding this cache unicornnikita

Thought this would be a nice quick stop this afternoon with the kidlets. Not sure we went the easiest way though... crossing a creek and walking through the long grass! Oh well we made it TFTC
Sought out this cache while finishing off a nearby Adventure Lab. Had to wander around a little to avoid the local dog walkers but finally had a chance to retrieve it. Nice hide! None too difficult but impressive. Appreciate your effort, thanks!
I went for a little stroll on a place I hadn't been before and found a nicely crafted container. Good one!
TFTC Making the most of the sunshine before the rain, so a morning of catch-up caching with Marmaduke Rothschild.
Great location
And hide in the reserve .Good co ords assisted to locate the sneaky hide.
Many thanks for the cache.

I had a friend from primary school that lived somewhere down here.....I wonder what he's up to these days....
Quick walk to the cache from Vickers Cres over the freshly washed grass. It looks like lots of water washed down here!
A fun cache even without kids. I reckon the geoboi would enjoy it as well! ️ TFTC!

Riding around Belconnen on a maintenance mission - and decided to grab this one.
On the way, I discovered a potential new cache location, for either a series I'm contributing to, or a well known cachers to add to his well-known series
Arrived at GZ and looked around for potential GZs.. then I saw it.. Awesome!
I spent the first 20 odd years of my life growing up 2km away, and I've never found myself on this side of the creek. It's quite nice they're mowing it now!
TFTC UN!

We decided on a road trip to get the last Cache Carnival souvenir. we enjoyed a stroll from the car along the green space and spotted a likely contender for the cache. We followed the instructions and it was soon open. Thanks unicornnikita for a beautifully constructed and interesting cache.
We needed more points for the Cache Carnival souvenirs, so Canberra seemed the place to go. We went for a stroll in one of Canberra's many green areas and soon spotted a likely candidate to hold the cache. The log looked a bit careworn, so we added a new log. Thanks for the creative cache.
A very cool cache in a tucked away part of town. Can’t believe I still had this one close - ish by. Just the daily I needed today. A nice walk, a fast find and some points for the carnival cache challenge. An excited local cache guardian barked me as I walked home. A cache to remember, fav from me. Tftc
Liked this one. Missing date, cache for the day and missing suburb. Fav point from me. TFTC
Found in good condition but needs new log book. Nice to find something different and appreciate the effort you've gone to. Tftc
Day 9 of my quest for a 365 day streak. I waited all day until I took the geokid to his after school activity. It was then the weather decided to rain. Well I can’t let a bit of wet weather stop now. So here I am, taking refuge under some trees while simultaneously searching for a geocache. Just as I was about to begin my hunt, my eyes stopped upon something suspicious. I saw it as I came in but paid it no heed. Nice one. I haven’t seen one of those before. TFTC.
Me and my daughter though that it was a great make and it was fun to find!
I was checking in at my sons school sports carnival in Charnwood. Hugely enjoyed the bike ride on these nice path around here. And found some wonderful caches along the way.
I had allways seen this location on the satelited few and imaged it very differently. Walked over from the G. Creek. Cach logbook it full but still fits another 10-20 signature here and there. Othwise cache is in perfect order.
A quick find. Thanks for the Cache unicornnikita.

Have seen this type before so we sort of figured the hide out pretty quickly at GZ. Love the effort cachers put in to hides. A Fav point for the effort. Kutgw
A,quick find nice hide in good condition. Needs a new logbook asap as it is about 95% full. Thank you for taking the time to hide the cache.
I had suspicions about this cache based on it's name, but on arrival at gz discovered that it was something else (I had envisaged something like a mint tin stuck on a sign post). Nicely done! It was nice to see the effort that had been put into establishing this cache, and it is a shame that UnicornNikita seems to have given caching away (last visit was some years ago).
TFTC - I enjoyed seeing something different!

Easy find, bit hard for a "Travel Gran" to get lid off, kept perserving! Left shell
Trying to concentrate on clearing my Hidden Date calendar. So after work, I ventured northwest to collect two caches. Nicely constructed. TFTC unicornnikita
Very cool cache - thanks very much for this one Log is completely full so needs replacing. Cheers
This one has been on the list for some time and today we finally got around to it and what a cool cache it was TFTC
I wasn't really sure what to expect here, but was thinking more along the lines of letters and boxes. Parked up on the street and made the fairly short walk down the hill and across and it was soon very clear what it was I needed to find. Appreciate the effort that has gone into this cache, lid has detached but sits well still and functions well. Thanks for the cache unicornnikita, a great effort.
It's all in the name really. Lots of dogs in the area making it well known that I was there. Log paper very delicate. Tftc!!!

I had a few free hours to gainfully employ in the noble quest of Geocaching. Looking around, I noted quite a large number of unfound caches in north & west Belco, not too far from home in Gungahlin, so I grabbed some lunch & hit the road. It was quite warm for this time of year, but no too unpleasant.
I was impressed with the effort shown here. A bit worried about handling the container given it's coating, but took the risk.

Tuesday 14 February 2014 - a perfect Summer's day in the high 20s. Early evening found 3 from 3 caches to keep my daily stats going. Nice camo TFTC unicornikita.

Well here I was thinking this was going to be a letterbox type cache. Silly me.
What a marvelous container, well done. A nice walk in an area I've not explored before AND somewhere to hitch the Geohounds while I sign the log. Thanks for the cache, unicornnikita.
PS seems to be working fine now

A full day's caching starting in the Pinnacle Nature Reserve followed by at Strathnairn, around West Belconnen Pond, then as many other West Belconnen caches I could grab on my way home. 39 finds and several DNFs. This was easily spotted from a distance. TFTC.

The top of the hide has become detached from the lid of the container, so it could do with some more glue. It balances well enough that it's not urgent.
While walking down to this cache I had visions of different types of letter boxes and post boxes. Definitely not what I expected. A great play on words that had me guessing till I spotted the obvious. Very clever and nicely constructed.
Thanks for a great cache.
A fav point for me

Found whilst driving around Belconnen locating caches. Well hidden, took me a few minutes to work out. TFTC.
Second of 4 caches found by Benura and myself this morning. Lovely spot for a stroll. Very neat cache container too, Benura spotted it easily as we got near. TFTC.
After another massive day at the lab, it was time for me to nab the good 'ol daily on the way home.
Parked in the street up the top and then made my way down to the grassland. The grass is long no more-the ride ons have been down there so it's nice and short! No grass seeds in socks or itchy legs!
The nearby dog was barking as I was searching so I made the find and sign of the well constructed container and then I was outta there!
Thanks for the hide, uniconnikita

We are on a mission to get a travel bug to Sydney as we are headed there on the weekend so this was an ideal daily cache. A quick stop on the way home and we were glad the T2.5 proved a bit easier than expected. Collected the required bug and we're off! Thanks unicornnikita
had to find a cache today so my "slump" record does not get any longer, so wandered over to this one. Not a tricky find by any stretch, but a fun one! needed to find a slightly larger one to drop a TB into, but it only just squeezed in! All good with the cache, but the log sheet is getting a bit tatty.
The TB is in a race to go to the Safe City TB hotel, so I would be grateful if someone heading to Sydney soon could drop it off!
Thanks unicornnikita! A fav from me.

Found with Angel on a sunny afternoon. I did not like the long grass, but I did like the cache! Favourite point from me thanks unicornnikita!
Certainly a unique cache and a great idea I was happy to see that the original log from 2010 still exists! Just proves that caches like this are some of the longest lasting.
Spotted quickly on approach because I had read about this cache prior and knew what to expect. Performed the log signing duties and moved on. The log will need replacing soon however As it is quite full and also getting tattered and worn. Would hate to see the original log being torn up to pieces after a few more finders have handled it. TFTC

Found 9:27 pm. I had the urge to get out and find a daily cache thereby keeping the streak going. I had took for a while for a suitable cache that didn't entail travelling many kIlometers. This came up and seemed to be a good candidate so I set off parked nearby where I could access the reserve area and headed over to GZ. With torchlight leading the way to GZ the cache location seemed somewhat obvious, probably due to having done geocaching for a while. Still a nice way to do it. I extracted the log and signed the log. Replaced everything as I had found it.
Thanks for the cache. I think I'll give it a fav for the effort.

It could be peaceful if it weren't for the barking dog, quick find and were out of here. A stand out cache. TFTC
Pleasant stroll down the hill to GZ. A pretty unique container and worth a fav from us. TFTC unicornnikita
Having done a nearby cache yesterday I thought I'd drop by and take a look for this one. Cache was immediately obvious however I loved the alternative container

Team find with geo friends, Bluewattle (BW), FIT02, RatPackLeavings (RPL). To save time, I signed log as SA (Snickersallan) and TFTC.
Fourth find for the day. I had planned on visiting this one on a number of other occasions but had never gotten it. Parked on the road nearby and then headed down to the cache. Was greeted at GZ by a dog going off its nut which was a bit off putting. Spotted the cache as soon as I got there. Nice camo. TFTC unicornnikita!
I love clever hides like this, great job. 2nd for the day with the geopup.
